Chapter 4: An Endeavor Goal

Unknown Base, 7:30 AM

Otto tasked the other four members of the six earlier to locate the stones on the theorized locations which appears to be false. Electro was getting frustrated that his time was wasted on looking for the stones at the Miyazaki Prefecture, same with Mysterio who looked for the stone at Akita Prefecture.

"Can't you find the 'real' locations of the stone, Otto?!" Electro asked.

Otto growls, "You think it's easy to find six cosmic gems?! If you think you can do better at finding them, then please be the guest."

Electro snickers before walking away angrily.

"Are you sure that the stones are really here, doc?" Vulture asked.

Otto sighs, "They are. And I would properly find the correct locations... IF ALL OF YOU DON'T STRESS ME OUT!!!" he said as the four mechanical tentacles shrieks at the five.

Kraven blows the dust off of his arrow, "One thing that every hunters know, Mr. Thoomes, is patience."

Vulture sighs, "Just find the stones quick."

"Yes, I want to heal my daughter already." Sandman stated.

"You'll get your stones, don't worry," Otto said as he begins to find the locations of the stones. "Just give me time."

"I'm gonna let off some steam." Mysterio said before he left the room.

"The Six will rule the Multiverse. I assure you that," Otto said. 'Don't get in our way, pesky arachnid!'

After a long night of rest without getting attack from the law or the Pro Heroes, Peter suits up on his "Advanced Suit", a spider suit with a white spider insignia instead of black. The suit was originally made by his ex favorite scientist, Doctor Otto Octavius. He hasn't wore this suit for years after a big battle with his idol, he didn't want to wear the suit since he only wants to remember the good times with his idol but he shrugs the thought off since it'll get him nowhere.

"I need to money to clean my worn suits." Peter said before he fires a web on a building and swings across the city to fight some crime and help the civilians.

The day was usual for Spidey ever since he came to this world. He stops bad guys, saving people, helping the community, and running away from the Pro Heroes. He later heard that Sandman escaped the police precinct, including Dabi who he captured last night. Peter swings toward the precinct where Sandman was held and secretly investigates the sand trail with his civilian self.

"Karen, where does this trail end?" Peter asked while following at the sand trail.

"Give me sec," Karen said as she begins to see where the trail ends. "It appears that I can't locate it, Peter. The cleanup crews are currently cleaning up all the sands that Flint Marko left."

Peter sighs, "Great. A supervillain, who is probably working with my other foes, is on the loose. Does this world even have power dampeners?"

"It appears so. The Tartarus is quite full of Quirk dampeners," Karen stated.

"The Tartarus? So, they name it after the Greek underground prison. I guess it's this world's Raft," Peter said and sighs. "They should have put them there immediately. I guess they didn't know how dangerous Sandman actually is. He can literally be an entire desert to the point that I need help from Bobby."

Peter sighs before he changes back to his suit in an alleyway.

While he swings across the city, his spider sense was tingling. He lands on the middle of the street with the pedestrians taking pictures of him as he concentrates his sixth on the danger. He immediately acrobatically dodges an incoming fireball attack. He looks to see a brute man whose hair and beard were on fire.

"Whoah, is that you Human Torch? You're quite a brute now huh." Spider-Man said jokingly.

The man in flames growls from annoyance, "So you're that annoying bug that has the news talking for the past six days. Why did the Pro Heroes having hard time fighting you? You're quite weak."

"Jeez, and I thought you were all grown up Johnny." Spider-Man said before releases smoke grenade from his wrist.

The man in flames snickers, "You think cheap tricks can stop me?!"

The man swiftly disperses all the smoke with his arms. He saw the arachnid vigilante swinging away.

"You won't get away from me that easily." The man said as he begins to fly using his feet to chase after Spider-Man.

While Spider-Man was swinging, he turns his head around to see the man chasing him. He didn't expect he can fly though he has seen other fire-based superhero who could fly like Human Torch and Sunspot. The man releases tremendous amount of fireballs which Spider-Man acrobatically dodges all of it without looking at where the attacks were which surprises the man.

'How can he dodge all of that?!' The man thought. "Dodge this!"

He releases a massive beam of fire which Spider-Man already detected and dodges to the left side as he continues to swing away. The man was surprise again at the vigilante's quick reaction as no one ever dodges his attacks before.

'This kid can dodge all of my attacks without looking and he is still calm after releasing that beam,' the man thought. "You have underestimated me, bug!"

"Sorry, can't you hear! After all, it is quite to hear with all of that fire around you." Spider-Man sarcastically said which annoys the man.

"I, Endeavor, can't be humiliated by a mere child!" The man declared as he propels himself faster to match the vigilante's swinging speed.

Spider-Man snickers as he fires a web at Endeavor's face, "Can't have you catch up to me, sir."

Since Endeavor's eyes were blocked by the webs, he fell down on top of a 7 foot building. Spider-Man then lands on top of a pole, waiting for the Flame Hero to get up.

"You dare strike at me, vigilante?!" Endeavor yelled. "I will burn you to crisp!"

Spider-Man was wiping his ear with his pinky finger, "I think I've heard that line before..."

Endeavor snickers, "Die!"

Spider-Man, once again, dodges all Endeavor's fireballs. Spider-Man leaps of the pole and delivers a kick to Endeavor. Endeavor growls as he delivers several punches at Spider-Man but the vigilante kept on dodging all of it. Spider-Man slides under Endeavor and delivers a kick on the back and massive side punch on the face when he turns. Endeavor couldn't believe what he witnessed as groans from the pain of his jaw.

'This kid is fast! He's like Ingenium but unlike that hero, this vigilante can still move without any sign of slowing down!' Endeavor thought as he received a kick on his stomach. 'It's not just his speed! His strength is ridiculously strong and the flexibility reminds me of Wild, Wild Pussycats member, Tiger!'

Spider-Man continues to attack Endeavor who has his hands held up to prevent the arachnid vigilante to break his jaw completely. Endeavor was furious from all the consecutive punches and kicks that Spider-Man has been doing to him while he was being helpless.

'How can I become Number One when I can't even defeat this criminal?!' Endeavor though as he burst into flames which damages Spider-Man a bit.

Spider-Man groans from the 1st degree burn he received, "Man, I should have expected that."

Endeavor was growling as the temperature of his flames around his body were increasing than before. Spider-Man felt as if he was being burnt by the sun.

"Man, it's like Johnny and Sunspot have a baby." Spider-Man said jokingly.

"Even at times like this, you still make jokes?" Endeavor said as he runs at full speed towards Spider-Man and prepares to deliver a massive flaming punch. "This is the end of you, bug!"

Spider-Man dodges the punch instantly and delivers a kick on the chin which causes Endeavor to sent flying into the sky. Endeavor couldn't process on what he saw — a mere child beating him when no one has ever. He growls and propels himself forward and prepares a move.

"You like spiders, right?! Take this!" Endeavor said as he readied his super move. "Flashfire Fist: Hell Spider!"

Endeavor fires out long, thin blasts of fire out of the tips of his fingers which he can use to cut through Spider-Man. However, Spider-Man easily dodge the blasts at tremendous speed. Endeavor couldn't believe what he saw. There were three afterimages of the arachnid vigilante.

'What is going on?! He's going way too fast!' Endeavor thought as he releases another fireball.

Spider-Man grabs the fireball with his ice webs and threw it back at Endeavor which had no effect on him since he has resistance against any type of fires. Endeavor couldn't find Spider-Man after he threw the fireball at his face.

'Where did that damn bug go?!' Endeavor thought angrily as he clenches his fists. 'The next time we meet, I'll end you!'

While Spider-Man was swinging, he fell down on the alleyway after hitting some walls. His suit was damaged from the heat as he uses his ice webs to rid the burnt.

"Those flames are hot! The temperature of his flames are similar to Johnny's supernova," Peter stated as he felt the burns all over his body. "I should be thankful that he wasn't a villain, but he is quite persistent."

Peter gets up with a groan. When he was about to change to a different suit until a girl with short, purple hair with some kind of earphone jacks hanging on her ear lobes found him. He was thankful that he didn't immediately took off his damaged suit since it'll be pretty awkward in this situation.

'I should change somewhere else. She almost discovered my secret identity!' Peter thought as he stares at the girl. "Hi?"

The girl was observing the vigilante, "Are you that vigilante that everyone has been talking about?"

Spider-Man nods and introduces himself, "Yeah, I'm Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Please don't tell anyone I'm here."

"I won't. I'm not in the mood since I have something on my mind," The girl said in a sad tone before walking away. "I hope you continue to illegally protect the citizens, Spider-Man."

Peter was wondering why the girl was so down, 'Should I talk to her? I should since that's part of my job!'

Peter, who is in the Red-and-Black Suit which is the upgraded version of the Stark Suit, was secretly following the girl who stops by at a laundromat. It appears that she went there to wash her dirty rock musician clothes. Peter checks his pocket to see if he has enough money.

"I have 10401.20 yen which is oddly high than I expected it to be. And the cost of paying for cleaning is... 104.01 yen," Peter calculated. "It's enough."

Peter changes back to his casual civilian clothes and enters the laundromat store. He saw the girl sitting in front of the washing machine, waiting for her clothes to finish. He is thankful that his burnt wounds were healed in matter of minutes since she would know he is Spider-Man. Peter sits behind her without her noticing. It appears she was listening to rock musics.

"You like rock music huh?" Peter asked, getting the girl's attention.

The girl nods and asks, "Yeah, you like rock music as well?"

"Yep, my favorite band is AC/DC," Peter answered, thankful that he got it right since he mistaken them for Led Zeppelin. "Have you heard of them?"

"Yeah, I like their songs 'Highway to Hell' and 'Thunderstruck'." The girl answered.

"Really? I like the song 'Back in Black' which happens to be my mentor's favorite song." Peter said. "I'm Peter by the way." he said as he held his hand.

The girl shakes his hand, "Kyoka Jiro."

"Nice to meet you Kyoka." Peter said, causing Jiro to blush when he said her first name. Jiro tries to remind him which causes Peter to realize his mistake, "I'm sorry! I forgot you by your last names here."

Jiro shakes her head, "It's fine. It can't be help you're from America."

Peter wasn't surprise she knows that he is American since he has an English accent. Peter and Jiro were talking about rock musics throughout their conversation though Pete can't help but wonder why Jiro was down earlier. He begins to ask her, hopefully she would answer.

"Hey, I notice you were looking so blue earlier," Peter stated. "Can you tell my why?"

Jiro was surprised by his question and hesitates to answer, "It's because..."

Peter then waves his hand aggressively, "I-It's fine if you don't want to talk about it!"

Jiro shakes her head, "No, sorry. It's because... I'm having hard time choosing." Peter listens closely while she sighs and says, "I want to be a hero, but I don't want to disappoint my parents either. They taught me everything about music and to throw all that away for being a hero is selfish." Peter was shock of her reasoning but continues to listen. "Don't get me wrong, I love music but I also want to be hero, because they're so cool."

Peter slightly chuckles of her reasoning. She reminded him when he was her age, even though he is on her age. He deeply loves science, specifically biochemistry, and superheroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Wolverine, Mr. Fantastic because of their heroic actions.

"You're not the only who thinks heroes are cool, Jiro," Peter said as Jiro listens closely. "When I was a kid, I look up to the hero group I admired and wanted to become like them, and I also love science which I still do, but I want to become a hero to save people."

Jiro was surprise of his answer since he was the same as her. He wants to become a hero instead of his dream job for the sake of good. She found someone who can relate to her.

"Was it... hard to make the choice?" Jiro asked.

"Not exactly," Peter said which confuses Jiro. "It wasn't a hard choice because I want to become a hero... and a scientist that my uncle wanted me to be. It's the same with you, Jiro. You want to be musician right? But you can become a hero too. There's always a third choice in life."

Jiro was shock and surprise of his advice. There were a bit of tears on her eyes after hearing all of that. It was just what she wanted to her. For so many years, it was a hard choice for choosing either of the professions when she could be both like Peter said.

She wipes her tears off, "Thanks, Peter. It's just what I wanted to hear."

Peter let out a smile, "You're welcome."

The smile of Peter reminds her of All Might who reassures people with a fearless smile. She wonders if he could become the next All Might due to his great advice. She feels confident on telling her parents that she wants to be a hero first before becoming a musician after her hero graduation.

Later, Jiro's clothes were finished cleaning. Jiro packs her clothes on her bag and walk towards Peter.

"Hey, can I ask for your number?" Jiro said with a slightly blushed face.

Peter tries to remain calm since this was a first time a girl asked for her number, "S-Sure..."

After exchanging numbers, Jiro bid farewell to Peter. Peter sighs in relief that he can finally clean his suits without anyone to see it. Jiro was walking on a street walk with a smile and determination. It was her first step on the path of becoming a hero.

"That girl was nice. She reminds me of Michelle," Peter said. "I wonder how she's doing."

Unknown Location, Earth-111104

Madame Web and Doctor Strange was watching Peter's progress through the Web of Life. Cassandra was impressed that Peter was improving though he still need some help. Strange was smirking as everything is according to plan.

"You might be right, Strange," Cassandra started. "This world could help Peter to let his guilt go."

"I hope so. It was a painful decision to place the stones there." Doctor Strange said which shocks Madame Web.

"You purposely sent the stones there... so that Peter could retrieve them?" Cassandra said as Strange nod to the question. "Did you sent his villains there as well?"

Strange shakes his head, "I didn't send them. They must have used the machine that The Avengers found on Osborn's sewer base."

Cassandra sighs, "I know that Peter will play a big part on the upcoming crisis but it doesn't mean you shouldn't endanger him by placing the most powerful creations on another universe."

"It's part of the plan," Strange stated. "You can see the future, Miss Webb. You already know the outcome."

Cassandra sighs again, "My clairvoyance doesn't reassure me, Stephen. It worries me."

"He'll be fine. He has survived worst enemies than 'The Sinister Six'." Strange stated.

"I hope so." Madame Web said before looking back at the Web of Life.

Chapter 4 End

Since this is a different Peter, I made a different Earth. 111104 is actually my birthdate so that's a fun fact.

Peter will help talk to another student of UA. Who could it be?
