A/N – Thanks for the comments! Leasmom –You forget that he was drugged the entire time except for the last couple of weeks and half that time, his memory was sketchy. Of course, his wife is going to be first on his mind. Why wouldn't she be? For Jason, Jake is dead. He and Liz weren't together.
Sorry, but, realistically, Jason would want to be with his wife. It's like yesterday for him. You know the end game, but I'm not going to have him hate Sam. It's not necessary to skewer a character just to pimp another couple. That's why we hate the show. You'll just have to hang in there for a couple of chapters while he gets his bearings and works things out. Most of this is about Jason finding the truth, not he and Sam. It's not like they are going to be all lovey-dovey.
Bonus chapter! Next week, I'll start posting 3 times a week.
Chapter 15
Klein reads the riot act to the guys who Patient 6 took down.
"We'll be ready for him next time."
"You're assuming that if we can find him. He could be anywhere."
"We are using surveillance and he hasn't made contact with anyone."
"He is dangerous, and we need to stop him before he reaches them."
IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi
Elizabeth yawned as she wearily moved down the stairs.
"What's wrong?" It's very early and Elizabeth usually goes down and doesn't wake back up until she must.
She jumped a mile. "Jesus, Francis."
"Sorry, I was putting back some tools and was going to do one more sweep before heading to bed. Why are you awake?"
"I had a dream and it felt so real."
"Want to talk about it?" He followed her into the kitchen where she grabbed some water and then leaned against the counter.
"It was about Jason."
His brow rose.
"He was alive with his face and he found us."
"I wish that it would come true. I miss him."
She smiled. "He did have a way of growing on you."
"Like a fungus," Johnny said as he joined them.
"And why are you awake?"
"He went to a party," Francis said.
"Okay, who did you meet?"
Johnny's eyes brightened. "I may have gotten a number."
Liz's eyes narrowed. "I'll need a background check."
He chuckled. "I probably won't be going out with her that long."
Liz smacked him on the arm. "You're getting old, O'Brien. You need to settle down."
"Blasphemy…"

Sonny insists on going to the bridge.
"I can't let you go alone," Jason said.
"The only reason I want you there is because it's personal."
At the bridge, Patient 6 mutters, "Come on, Sonny." Car lights appear, so he ducks out of sight.
When he spots Sonny, he gets a lump in his throat and is just about to come out of hiding when Jason appears.
"He's not here," Jason said.
"Well, maybe he'll still show."
Patient 6 pivots to walk in the opposite direction and a man holds a gun on him.
"Hands behind your head!"
They struggle over the gun and it goes off, alerting Sonny and Jason who assumes it's a trap.
"Do you work for Sonny?" Patient Six asked.
"I'm one of his guards. I was just protecting my boss."
Jason tells Sonny to leave. "Get back to the car."
Patient 6 holds the gun on the guard knowing he doesn't have much time to escape.
"Sonny, let me do my job," Jason said.
Sonny nods and walks away while Jason tentatively moves forward with his gun drawn and comes upon the guard.
"Are you okay?"
"Yes. I got jumped, but he let me go."
They head back to Sonny's house.
"I don't get it. Why didn't they take me out?" Sonny asked.
Jason is worried. "I can't wrap my mind around what this guy wants."
They are interrupted by Michael.
"I've been getting static on my phone and Monica's. I took them to security, and they were bugged. I just don't get why they are targeting Monica."
Jason turned towards Sonny. "You're not the target. I am."
IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi
Klein plans to draw Patient 6 out before he can contact anyone. They decide to take someone he cares about and wait for him to show.
The guy's head to the penthouse to keep an eye on Sam and they report that there is no sign of him.
"He could have left the country."
"No, when he finds out that someone, he cares about is in trouble he'll come, and then we'll shut him down."
"Let's cut to the chase. We know everyone close to him. Let's just take someone."
"No, because he has too many friends in common with Sonny Corinthos and he's too powerful. I don't want to piss him off. I think I have the perfect plan.
IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi
Patient 6 goes to a safe house and breaks in. The alarm goes off and he quickly enters the code. He cleans his guns and is extremely paranoid as he waits for someone to arrive.
Sonny is with Diane when he gets a call about the safe house and wonders when the security code was last used as he heads over there. When he arrives, he enters it and pulls out his gun before moving further inside.
As he moves closers to the stairs, he looks around and yells, "You went through a lot of trouble to get me here, so come out."
He turns back to the door when no one answers and then Patient 6 comes downstairs.
"Sonny."
He spins and points his gun as Patient 6 raises his.
"Who the hell are you?"
IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi
Ava goes to the hospital and spots Franco who is feverishly drawing inside a room.
"Hey."
"What is it you're sketching?"
"I'm just doodling. You wouldn't care."
"I don't believe that. I wanted you to know that you inspired me, so I've decided to reopen my gallery. Would you be interested?"
"I'm not drawing for profit, so no."
He turns his back on her and she grabs the tablet and is shocked.
"Ava…"
"I know him."
"Of course, you do. Everyone knows Jason Morgan the original version."
She is blown away.
"Didn't you arrive after he was gone? How did you know?"
"I—um must have seen and old picture. Why are you drawing him? Don't you have a troubled past?"
"Ava, what do you want?"
"I'm just curious," she says as she flips through the tablet.
"That is personal." He yanks it out of her hands.
"Okay, I'll be going. Think about my offer."
IiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIiIi
Sonny and the intruder are still at a standoff as Patient 6 moves further down the stairs.
"Who are you? You look exactly like Jason."
"Because I am."
"Then why has someone else been saying he's Jason for years?"
"He's wrong."
They are now in front of one another still holding the guns.
"Sonny, come on. It's me."
Sonny stares. "I don't know why I'm pointing my gun because if you were Jason, you would have blown my head off before I could blink."
Patient 6 puts his gun on the coffee table.
"Why pull a gun on me in the first place?"
"I thought that maybe he'd be with you like he was at the bridge."
Sonny is still pointing his gun.
"He seems like he'd shoot first and ask questions later and I wouldn't have the chance to explain."
"Explain it to me. Where the hell have you been? It's been seven years."
"It wasn't seven years for me. I woke up at the clinic where they had been drugging me. When I came out of it, I thought I had only been there a short period of time, but I'm not sure. I started remembering and worked on a plan to escape."
"Did you call me?"
"Yes. I gave the number to another patient to call for me and she gave the number to Klein."
"Who is Klein?"
"He's a doctor there who they were paying to keep me drugged and under control."
"Who is they?"
"I don't know."
Sonny moved around the room. "How did you escape?"
"I had a lot of help. I was handcuffed and managed to steal a pen and paperclip, but I dropped it and that's when Ava helped me."
"Yeah, I'm sure she put herself on the line."
"She did. I made it out and this Priest helped me. He found me barefoot and gave me clothes and secured my passage on a ship."
"And he gave you a gun?"
"No, several men were after me and I managed to put them down and take the guns. They found me at a bar in New York. They are still searching for me."
"Why did you go to Ava for help and not me?"
"I did come to you."
Sonny frowns.
"I went to your house first and let myself in."
"How? The codes have been changed."
"Spinelli had given me the override before. I overheard your guards and I wasn't sure if you were coming back anytime soon."
"You came that far. Why didn't you wait?"
"I should have, but I did something stupid and went to see Sam."
Sonny moved again.
"I know it wasn't fair for me to just show up, but I did, and she wasn't home. I picked the lock and let myself in. It didn't feel like I had been gone for seven years. It felt like before and I had just gone down the to the pier to meet with Bernie. It hit me all at once. I lost so much time and wondered what the time had been like for Sam and I couldn't breathe. I went onto the terrace to get some air and they came home."
"They didn't see you?"
Jason shook his head. "I was about to walk back in, but he showed up and I figured out he was her husband. At first, I didn't know she thought he was me. They were talking about their wedding day and I could hear in her voice how much she loves him. I'm happy for her and that she wasn't alone."
"Sam thinks that he's Jason."
"I know and they just bought a media company from Ava's brother. That's when I connected the dots. Ava said Jason Morgan bought the company."
"What else did she tell you?"
"Uh, he escaped from Helena and got in an accident and had facial reconstruction. He didn't remember who he was until Carly figured it out."
"There was proof. We had DNA tests and scans confirmed how he looked before the accident."
"He's not Jason Morgan! I am. You know that, don't you?"
Sonny thinks for a moment as Jason moved a little closer. "You are my best friend and my brother." His eyes tear. "You need to tell me that you know me."
Sonny doesn't move.
"You really don't know me?"
"I thought I did, and I would have bet everything on that."
"I'll do any test—"
"We did them already."
"I can't explain that. I don't know anything about him. I only know myself." He moved closer, but Sonny held his hand up. "I went to work with you in 1996 and you taught me everything about the business and life. I wouldn't turn my back on you and buy some media company. I left because someone tried to kill me and shot me in the back. Do you understand?"
"Stop!" He places the gun on the table. "You don't have to do this anymore. "I know it's you, Jason." He takes his hand and then pulled him into a hug.
Jason is beyond relieved and the hug eases some of his pain. They pull apart.
"Thank you for believing me."
"I wanted to believe when I first saw you."
"I get it."
"Everything important in my life," he said putting his hand on Jason's shoulder, "I trust you even more than Carly cause her judgment sucks."
"Not always…"
Sonny chuckled. "There you go defending her."
"She always defends me."
"When she sees you, she's going to lose her mind. Her Jason—our Jason is alive."
Their eyes tear.
"There's so much to catch you up with, I'm not sure where to start."
"I do have a question."
Sonny nods.
"I've been around town and didn't see Elizabeth. How is she?"
He's surprised that she had been on Jason's mind. They hadn't been close before he left.
"Uh—she's gone."
Jason's eyes narrowed. "What do you mean?"
"Well, things got messy and she bolted with the kids."
He's surprised because Elizabeth had never run away before. It must have been bad. "Cam and Aidan? They must be so big." He couldn't picture it in his head. Even trying to imagine what Jake would look like if he were alive escapes him.
Sonny sighed. "Jason, there's something you need to know." As much as he doesn't want Jason thinking about Elizabeth, if he doesn't tell him, it will look suspect.
"What?"
"Jake is alive."
He stumbled backward like Sonny had punched him.
"I know it's a shock, but Helena took him to punish Luke."
Tears prick Jason's eyes. "How? Why?" He lets out a small whimper as he tries to process it.
"I—it's a long story. I'm going to get us a drink. I know I need one."
He disappears and comes back with two glasses. "To Jason, no matter what the fallout is of you returning, welcome home."
Their glasses clink.
"Thanks."
"Helena staged the accident to screw with Luke and she had him taken to Cassadine Island."
"But I was there. I saw his body."
"He wasn't hurt. She faked everything, but he's alive Jason." Sonny wishes he could have separated Jake and Elizabeth before she disappeared so Jason could see his son.
"And Josslyn?"
"Jax got her a kidney and didn't say anything."
Jason looks at him incredulously.
"That's a ridiculous story for another time. Jake is safe."
"What about Sam's husband? He has a connection to Helena and was held in a clinic."
"Robin helped him escape."
Jason is floored. "How is that possible?"
"That's right, you don't know. Take a sip of your drink because this conversation is about to get crazier. Robin is alive too."

Elizabeth cracked up as Francis told her about a time when Johnny was played by a girl in a bar and all his money was stolen.
"That wasn't funny."
"Oh, yes it was. Seriously, Johnny, you need a nice girl."
"No, I don't."
"Yes, you do."
Jake came downstairs. "What is going on down here?" He had heard his mom laugh because he sleeps so lightly.
"They are making fun of me and trying to set me up with a nice girl."
Jake grinned. "Those kinds of girls like you?"
Liz laughed. "He has a point."
Johnny shook his head. "Since your mom told me Jason had better abs back in the day, I realized nice girls are actually evil."
Liz's eyes widened and she darted toward him, making Johnny run about the other side of the table.
"Why do you guys have to be so fast?"
"Because women are violent," Johnny said with a smirk.
"Only with you…"
"She has a point," Jake said.
"Hey, guys are supposed to stick together."
"I have to live with her."
Liz shook her head.
"And don't even bother trying that fake sick act that works with the boys."
Liz smiled.
"I'm on to you, Webber," Johnny said.
She shrugged and went into the kitchen leaving him wondering why she gave up so easily. He moved towards the counter and she turned on the water and washed out a cup and put it in the dishwasher as Francis and Johnny chatted. Smirking, she grabbed the nozzle and started spraying, hitting Johnny right in the face.
His jaw dropped as water dripped down his shirt and Jake and Francis cracked up.
"I can't believe you did that."
"Believe it…"
He ran for her and she screamed and then squealed as she squirted him, and he tried to wrestle it from her. Francis recorded a video as they fought, and Cam rushed down the stairs.
"What the hell?"
"Help!" Liz yelled.
Johnny had gotten it from her and then everything went silent when they slipped and crashed to the floor.
Liz had landed on Johnny and put her finger to her mouth.
Everyone rushed around the counter and Elizabeth started squirting them and they yelled and ran the other way.
"You are evil, but I still love you," Johnny said.
"I love you too." She squirts him in the face, and he tickles her until she has to pee.
"Stop! I'm going to pee my pants."
Francis wiped his face as he laughs. "That would be great payback."
Finally, he let up and she tried to stand and run but started to slip again. She is soaking wet. Cam stopped her forward momentum and she thanked him before sliding towards the small bathroom off the kitchen and disappearing.
Cam shook his head at the mess they made while Francis retrieves a mop.
"Next time, I'll get out some flour," Johnny said.
Jake groaned. "That would be disastrous."
"I think your mom would look stunning covered in flour."
After a few minutes, she returned as she tried to dry her hair with a towel.
Johnny discreetly poked Jake with his elbow.
"Mom?"
"Yes?"
"I have a question. How did you see Johnny's abs in the first place?" Johnny had already told them it was because Liz had spilled coffee all over him.
Liz turned bright red as she watched Johnny wickedly smile. "What did he tell you?"
"Something about strip poker?" Cam said innocently.
"I'm going to kill him."
Johnny took off and the guys cracked up as their mom went after him again.
