Okay now, I know a lot of you out there are already aware of the whole premise of protagonists in tales being one-man armies, and this tale is one of the few that does it RIGHT!!
No over-excessive power, no great being bestowing dragon slaying gifts, and definitely no harem of super sexy girls who are meant to be strong, but yet always need saving. This is simply a tale of a boy who was lucky – or unlucky enough to become a lone huntsman-in-training.
It takes a sedate pace through the entire semester and how the protagonist went from one trial to the next, all the while giving us snippets of the relationships he had with the students and teachers in the school. The story was well written, with the grammar being above average.
The only downside to the tale being the general lack of proper context in the world building area. It basically lacked any and all citation in that regard.
However, I would definitely recommend this read to you all, you definitely won't regret it
