The Bloody Drosera

Drance,a tester for YGGDRASIL gets transported to the New World,he has to figure out his situation and using his race,a Drosera he has to to face every challlenge in his way.

Yamashiro Hisoka was feeling his heart heavy like a rock,YGGDRASIL was going to be closed forever in 20 minutes,he knew YGGDRASIL was just a game,but he did not spent 11 years putting his blood,sweat and tears into this game just for it to was not feeling right,but as Hisoka was thinking more about this his anger was take his mind away from those thoughts he decided to do his favorite thing in this game, a tester he just opened a menu and spawned 50 enemies with level Hisoka opened the combat menu and first he saw his username:Drance,below that it was showing his race:Blood selected his desired powers and quickly massacred all of his enemies,if Drance was a normal player something like this would be more than impossible but Drance was far from a normal player.

Drance was a Blood Drosera,Droseras were introduced 3 years before the closing of the servers as an idea for a race that was going to be too OP but that also was going to have such big penalties it was going to be rare to see someone playing as backstory for the race was that it was an evolution of some normal carnivorous plants,it evolved enough to become a sapient species but since Blood Droseras were still carnivorous plants they were feeding on Droseras had no true form as they could always change form even though most of them prefer humanoid more the Droseras fed the stronger they became,they were one of the most deadly species but they have a fatal weakness,a complete unability to use magic or magical objects.

After Drance decided he would continue to fight until the last minute he began thinking about the reasons why the Droseras never got introduced in the way Droseras worked was that they had unique abilities to compensate the fact that they could not use magic or magic objects:They had abilities that made their exterior like an armor so powerful no hit could pass through it,an abiliity that transformed a hand into a blade that dealt 5 times the average damage dealt by a divine class weapon,an ability that healed them to full health istantly and an ability that letted them create NPCs on the spot as powerful as that is how it looked,because each of these abilities costed tissue points(t.p).A Drosera gained t.p from attacking living things,whenever it landed a hit half of the life points lost were added to the tissue points,but the cost for some of the abilities was very high,for the armor that was unpassable it costed 10 times the amount of damage normaly taken in t.p,for the blades that dealt incredible damage they costed 5 times the t.p for the damage dealt,the healing costed 5 times, the NPCs were Droseras too and their strenght was based off tissue points as well,so even though the NPCs were level 100 by default if you created them and you would not give them any tissue points from yourself then the NPCs would be

weaker than a level ideea from which this race was created was that a Drosera could change the that battle a Drosera had to gain enough t.p for a few months before it could do something like that were many abilities that suppported a balanced playstyle and it was a viable option but you wouldnt pick this race if you would want a balanced playstyle.

If a Drosera spends all of its tissue points then the only option to gain some back is to go to some special spots with a lot of vegetation and get a few tissue points there,,the official explication is:Droseras are masters of vegetation and are capable of controling it,and they often harvest the vegetation for their own gain as they can also feed of other forms of life force other than blood,but feeding on non sapient plants is not giving them as much power as something like they harvested a few points those points are enough to start PK-ing low level players and get more and more t.p

The reason why Droseras were not introduced for 3 years even though it was more than functional and was ready to be implemented in the game was that the developers were not sure how to balance this the first version was sent to the testers they tweaked this race countless time,at first it was too powerful,then it was too weak,then it was to buggy,and it went on and on until they announced that the servers will as a token of appreciation they alowed the testers to keep all the unreleased races and the benefits of being a tester.

The current main weakneses of this race are a complete unability to use magic and a 100% weakness to fire,but Drance added the maximum number of t.p that a player could have (so many that it would be impossible to gain and it would be hard to spend so much) and the weakness to fire was finished the monsters and looked at the timer,it was only one minute until the end so he choose to wait for the automatic log looked around the test chamber,a big open white field perfect for large scale testing,Drance hoped that the developers will make a good sequel and looked at the timer again, 6 closed his eyes and counted in his mind:5,4,3,2, opened his eyes again thinking he would wake in his dark room,but to his surprise he was in an open field under the sun...

I have to start with an apology,i hoped that i would not have to publish the prologue without geting to the first chapter,but i realised that my english sucks... so I am in search of proofreaders/editors so that my future content wont be as hurtful to your grammar sensors as this one,if you want to help or know someone that can help,please DM you can consider this a teaser for the future adventures of Drance,the plant monster.

(I had some problems with the site and sentences got messed up,i hope now those mistakes are fixed and the story is more readable,i will try to deliver a good story,but i need to make some decisions and i need to know what would be more enjoyable so it might take a while before chapter 1 appears)
