Smashing Into The New Year With Min Min and Mii Brawler

It's New Year's Eve at the Smash Mansion where Min Min is enjoying the celebration with her gear. She said, "Well, 2020 is coming to an end and when midnight comes, it will be 2021. I love the celebration and after all, a brand new year means a brand new beginning."

Just then, Reginald the Mii Brawler came to her and said, "Hey there, Min Min. What are you doing here tonight?"

"I'm getting ready to ring in the new year," Min Min replied, "And since you're here, I think we should take a look at all of the battles we've done this year in my memory book. Come on!"

So Min Min and Reginald looked at the memory book and they saw every match that they've done this year from her debut battle at Spring Stadium to a friendly melee at Final Destination. Reginald checked his watch and said, "Well Min Min, we're just five minutes away from 2021 and so, I want you to go outside with me so we can see the fireworks."

"Cool! I love fireworks and after all, it is the end of the year," Min Min replied with a smile.

"Me too! Once midnight comes, you'll enjoy the best fireworks display in the city. Now let's go!"

So Reginald and Min Min ran outside to see the fireworks as the final three minutes begin to tick down.

When they got there, Reginald said, "Okay! Now all we have to do is wait for the clock to strike 12 and since we're here, I want to tell you something, Min Min."

"What is it?" Min Min asked.

"You know, since you made your debut in the game back in June, we're amazed with your stretching arms and your ramen. So on behalf of myself and the entire Smash Bros. family, I just want to say thanks. You're the best fighter a friend could ever have in the roster."

"The same goes for me, Reginald. Your fighting skills are amazing and I love how you fight with your fists and for that, I want to thank you for spending this year with me. You really are a Mii Brawler. Now then, how much time until the fireworks?"

"Only thirty more seconds, Min Min," Reginald said with a smile as his watch shows 11:59:30pm.

"Cool! That means it's final countdown time, right?" Min Min asked.

"You got it! So let's finish this year with a bang! Ready?"

"As I'll ever be!"

So Reginald and Min Min turned to the sky as they await the fireworks. They smiled at each other and began counting down at the same time.

"Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one..."

BOOM!

"HAPPY 2021!"

With the words shouted, the fireworks begin to go off across the city as Reginald and Min Min hugged each other to welcome the new year.

"Happy New Year, Min Min," Reginald said to her.

"Same to you, Reginald," Min Min replied with a smile, "You know, I think this calls for a battle to start the year off right."

"Me too! Come on, let's have our first battle at Final Destination! To the teleporter!"

So Reginald and Min Min ran to the mansion as they begin the new year with a smile.
