You know those little things you do, those things you believe to be useless and a total waste of time; well, they might just save your life one day.
That is what the premise of this tale was. It revolves around a world where heroes are controlled and their side-kicks are charged with saving the world.
Sound like your regular superhero book?
Well think again….
Because not only does the author manage to grasp the full scope of the main characters in just one chapter, they also allow for a complete understanding of the emotional journey the characters took to get to where they were.
The book contains good writing, excellent world build-up and brilliantly researched references to scientific and emotional situations; all while giving us flash backs and memories to feed our inquisitiveness and fuel our hunger at the same time.
I truly don't much to say about this book with regards to a downside, it was brilliantly written. And although the story is just one loooong chapter - whereas it would have been better as a multi chapter, I encourage you to read it and stick through till the end, you definitely won't regret it.
