Chapter 91 - What If We Had Never Met?

Pina was awoken by the ambient light bleeding into Legosi's childhood bedroom. Just like yesterday morning, although today...

The sheep turned his head to the side, seeing that he was laying on top of and to the side of Louis, still seemingly sound asleep. He stroked his face, enjoying its calm innocence.

"We'll get through this, and then we'll all get on with our lives," Pina found himself whispering.

So much had changed within the last day. So many doors opened for all of them, and all four of them were able to pass through them. All of their love was unifying.

Pina sat up and rubbed his eyes. As much as he wanted to stay asleep, he also wanted to talk to Louis again. He wanted to see how the odd couple of Legosi and Bill was feeling after a night of sleep. And he was also extremely excited about his day alone with Bill.

Also, every day that passed meant he was closer to Tuesday.

After Pina moved, Louis stirred. "Mmm..." He only turned onto his back and moved his arm over his face, his muzzle sticking out from under it.

"Awh." Pina let out an affectionate breath. He took his other hand and held it up limply. He brought it over and hooked the deer's hand into the curve of his horn, letting it go and finding it stayed there. He laughed, gently.

Louis groaned. "Stop moving so much, Legosi..."

Pina leaned down. "Legosi's in the other room, boo."

The deer seemed to whine, lightly. "Whyyy..."

"We can go see him. He's with Billy." Pina stroked his face.

The deer's arm slid from his horn and flopped down, then he uncovered his face, eye opening.

Pina smiled, showing his teeth. "Morning."

Louis blinked, then gave a loving smile. "You're awake." He said in a rather pleased tone.

"Totally. I am like, so awake right now."

Louis opened his mouth for a big yawn.

Pina yawned in response and he rubbed the fur on Louis' chest.

"How are you feeling?" Louis asked. "Did you sleep well?" He hummed lightly at the touch. His fur had gotten a bit softer on his chest so he wasn't complaining.

"I did. Your song kept playing in my head and carried me to dreamland." Pina reached his arms up to slide behind Louis' neck, pulling him off the bed and toward him.

The deer made little noises as he sat up and then he sang a little line from the chorus.

"Mm, there it is." Pina waited for him to stop singing to kiss him.

Louis kissed back ever so softly and he rubbed his eye afterward. "I don't want to write a fucking essay today."

Pina laughed. "Uh, are you still half asleep?"

The deer sighed. "Some chance, but no. Legosi and I have to write an essay on the flaws we see in one another. We've basically procrastinated up until this point and even with all this time, I still can't think of anything."

"Oh god, that's an interesting thing to do for therapy. I think if me and Bill were to do that we'd be roasting each other lovingly." Pina moved to the edge of the bed, looking for his leg.

Louis reached down and found it rather quickly. "And then I keep thinking about any flaws he might have can just be improved with time. And then with our dependency issues...this is going to help with that and even then we already knew that that was a flaw so there would be no point in even writing down and even then..." He was rambling.

"Well if that's the case, you should just write down everything you can think of, regardless. Better than a blank paper." Pina grabbed the leg with a small thank you and began to strap it on.

Louis sighed, moving to grab his underwear. "I hope you have a really amazing day with Bill."

Pina did the same with his own clothes. "Oh, I will! Sucks that you and Legosi are stuck writing some paper, but if you're doing it together I'm sure you'll have a good time. Plus, once you're finished you'll have some proper alone time with him again."

"And I think that's going to make it all the more sweeter," Louis said. "Giving him to Bill for a day and then back to me might make him even more affectionate." He stood up. "Let's go out there so you can have him back."

"Alrighty!"

Bill opened his eyes, seeing the ceiling above him. Immediately, he remembered that he and Legosi were boyfriends now. His light snoring was adorable from next to him.

During the night, the two had separated from their cuddling position, unlike the herbivores had.

"Hmm..." Bill smiled. He reached for his pants which were on the floor and pulled out his phone, sitting back and looking at the latest pornography art on his favorite NSFW site, finding only a few interesting photos and one GIF to save.

After he was done browsing, he scooted closer to his wolf boyfriend and reached his hand over, rubbing his thigh gently. He didn't intend on waking him up or starting anything, even though wake-up sex was incredible, he just wanted to touch his new mate more.

Legosi's tail started to wag at the sensation, although he still seemed to be asleep.

Bill leaned forward, kissing his neck gently, knowing that Pina enjoyed it when he woke him up this way. He couldn't help but let his hand wander to Legosi's privates just a bit. Again, he wasn't planning on getting the wolf off, he just loved how he felt.

Legosi's tongue lolled out and he huffed at both sensations. He rolled over onto his back, eyes still shut.

Bill continued to kiss his neck. "Morning, baby..."

The wolf reached out instinctively to hold the animal that was giving him attention. His eyes peeled open slightly and fixed on Bill, his face flickering a look of confusion for a second before he smiled. "Good morning." Seeing his face head-on, Bill had a close up look of Legosi's cheek fur matted to the side of his face, humorously.

The tiger chuckled, continuing to knead around between Legosi's legs. "You look fucking adorable when you sleep."

Legosi's ears flicked as he looked away. "Ah, you look really cute now, too. Your fur is all spikey." He moaned softly at the touches.

Bill couldn't help it. He moved to mount Legosi and look down at him, still using his hand. "How's my new boyfriend, feeling?" He grabbed the blanket and covered them more so anyone who walked in wouldn't see.

Legosi cleared his throat. "Uh, really good. Like, mentally and physically right now." Bill could feel this too as his skillful hand felt the results.

The cat licked his forehead and used his thumb to tease Legosi's tip. "I'm feeling it too, babe. Trust me."

Legosi kicked his legs a little and held his arms out. "C-come here."

The feline leaned down and let Legosi clutch him. "Guess you two are leaving today."

"Mhm." Legosi rubbed their faces together. "I had a lot of fun yesterday. Thank you."

"No need for thank you when you made my day, too," Bill purred, licking the wolf's muzzle. "Gonna miss my wolfy sub, though."

"We'll all be seeing a lot more of each other, so it'll be alright. When do you plan on going to see the Shishigumi?"

Bill's hand stopped moving. "Look, I think we should just tell that hybrid guy the truth. We both want to help our boys, so I don't see the problem. I'll still fight the hybrid if I have to. He wants to take down the Branded, he needs more guys. This is his chance."

Legosi looked down, trying not to get distracted by Bill's fuzzy pecs. "Melon-san...he's troubled. To be honest, I'm there to help him as well. So uh, just keep that in mind, I guess. I'll definitely have to call him or something before Wednesday to tell him about you so he doesn't get too mad."

"Just let me know, man. I'm gonna go to school tomorrow and get my things. Then, I'll be here," Bill explained.

Legosi nodded. "Take care of grandpa."

"Take care of yourself, babe."

"Yeah...I'm getting better at it." Legosi put a finger under Bill's chin and guided their mouths together.

This was a softer kiss than they usually shared. "Is it lame if I say I'm gonna miss you and that you should text me and maybe call me?" Bill blushed.

"No." Legosi shook his head. "We'll communicate more. I want to. We definitely skipped ahead a lot, so there's a lot we have to learn about each other still."

Bill smiled. "I should probably leave your dick alone."

"Y-yeah. Not fair to tease me here." the wolf pouted.

Suddenly, the bedroom door opened, and rather than leap off the canine, Bill just turned his head as a dressed Pina and Louis came into the living room.

Louis blinked. "Already, you two?"

Bill laughed. "Woulda fucked him too if you two didn't ruin it."

"Our poor grandfather," Louis sighed. "Plus, that bed would have squeaked so much you would have woken up the whole neighborhood."

Bill's tail twitched. "No, but his howling definitely would."

"That was mostly because you asked me to," Legosi murmured.

"Then start learning to do it naturally, babe," Bill poked his nose with his finger.

Louis raised a brow. "Babe?"

"Yeah, that's Bill." Pina looked on with pride. "Just remember to save this horny tiger mode for later, big guy."

The cat scoffed. "You underestimate me. Anyway, Legosi's my boyfriend now so Louis better watch out, I'm gonna make one submissive wolf."

Louis blinked. "Weh? Boyfriend?"

"I saw it coming," Pina admitted.

Legosi looked over at Louis, a bit worried. "Oh, are you not okay with that, Lou?"

"What, of course, I am!" Louis laughed. "You just have to realize that I didn't realize it would be this fast!"

Pina nodded. "Yeah, even I thought it'd be a lot of weeks or months of denial and 'oh it's just for the sex'. Granted, a lot of being with Bill is sex."

Bill rolled his eyes. "Think of it this way. Louis dishes out romance and I dish out good dick."

The deer came over. "I dish out both of those things, thank you. Legosi already knows."

Legosi nods. "Yeah. Plus, I don't want us to just be sex." He stroked Bill's cheek.

The tiger kissed his cheek. "Don't worry, I'm just really horny right now."

Louis looked at Pina, then at Legosi. "Let's get dressed and go, sweetheart."

Pina laughed. "Yeah, you two have a super fun essay to write!"

"Oh, right." Legosi looked down. "Uh, can someone get my underwear and pants? I don't think I should leave the blanket like this."

His deer took up the task, gathering his clothes and handing them to him. "There you are, my love."

Bill rolled off of him and grabbed his underwear and shirt, putting them on.

Pina went up behind the tiger and grabbed his ass. "God, I need this cake again."

"Too much skinny deer butt, or lack thereof?"

"Louis' perfect the way he is, and no, it's just cuz we haven't done anything in so long."

"You're gonna need a wheelchair after tonight," Bill growled.

"Promise?"

"Yeah, baby!" He leaned in and kissed him, deeply.

Louis turned to Legosi. "If I ever put you in a wheelchair...don't let that happen."

"Oh, I'll be fine when the time comes around. Don't worry boo." Pina gave a wink to Louis.

Louis blushed. "Everyone say goodbye to your new partners, then."

Bill went over to Legosi and wrapped him up, spinning him. "Bye, dude!"

Legosi laughed and hugged back. "Bye! I'll text you and sort out Wednesday!"

"Sounds good!"

Louis made his way over to Pina and stood in front of him. "I guess this it. I'll be seeing you."

Pina giggled and wrapped him up in his arms. "It won't be long! I'll see you soon, and then hopefully we can all get together for the festival."

"Of course." He pulled back and looked in his eyes one more time, smiling.

"Ooh, they're gonna kiss again," Bill teased.

And kiss they did, a soft one on the lips that left both herbivores smiling.

Louis huffed and turned around to his husband, reaching out for his hand. "Let's go home."

"Wait a minute," Louis blinked, realizing something as he watched the world go by from the train. "Why didn't we say goodbye to Gosha?"

"Sundays are the only days he gets to sleep in," Legosi explained. "Plus I need to get in for work." He then confidently wrapped his arm around Louis. "So...that was something yesterday, huh?"

"I'll say. You and Bill almost broke a hole in the wall," Louis chuckled. "Bill...your boyfriend."

"Uh, yeah. I'm just as confused about it as you are but...I feel excited. I'm surprised just how much he likes me..."

"How do you know?" Louis looked at him, tilting his head.

"Well, he kept complimenting me and stuff...and he seemed very loving during the sex and cuddles. I just...I don't know!" Despite the little outburst, Legosi was smiling.

"You're adorable." Louis leaned against him. "And really happy. I can tell."

"I am. I feel hopeful." Legosi hugged him closer. "And now you and Pina's relationship has progressed. How do you feel about that?"

"I feel incredible. Really incredible," Louis sighed. "I really do care about him so much. He makes me feel things differently than you do. Not in a bad way. Not at all. Just in a different way."

Legosi nodded. "Oh, I understand that! That's why I wanted to date Bill. It's a different feeling. Exciting! Like, having something different to eat."

"I wonder if he'd even let you..." Louis said, absentmindedly. "I know I plan on it with Pina. If that's okay with you. I don't want to do anything you won't like."

"If he'd let me what?" Legosi asked.

"Eat him out," Louis stated. "I thought that was obvious."

"Oh." Legosi looked up at the ceiling of the train. "I don't know. Maybe one day. He did that for me and," Legosi shivered at the memory. "It was something out of this world. Feline tongues..."

Louis made a face. "You like it better than mine?"

"Oh, no! It's just like trying foreign food. I'll have it again, but I still want what I usually get." Legosi looked out the window and laughed softly. "All these food metaphors..."

Louis laughed and shook his head. "It's okay if you like it better, Legosi. Really. I like sucking Pina off more than you, but only because it's easier."

"Oh, of course! And Bill gave me a better time up against the wall, naturally."

"I'm glad that he can give you the rough and wild ride that my little dainty body can't. He was able to finish you off multiple times as well."

"I think he was going for another when we woke up, and honestly I was about to let him..." Legosi mumbled.

"Pina and I didn't do anything before bed. I just sang to him a song I made up on the spot."

Legosi gasped, softly. "Oh, that's sweet! I haven't heard you sing in so long I almost forgot you're pretty good at it!"

Louis sighed. "I'm glad we did get off but I really didn't want to have sex with him until I could make it really special. Are you upset with me for putting so much effort into it?"

The wolf cocked his head at him. "No. I'd be concerned if you weren't since it's not like you. The Louis I know would be doing exactly what you're doing."

The buck grabbed his hand and squeezed. "You'd tell me if you weren't okay with it right?"

"Yes, just like I did when you called me at work that time."

"We could have a really anti-climatic first time if you had said yes," Louis muttered. "I'm actually glad you said no. I didn't really know at the time...I just thought it would be fun to experiment like you did with Bill. Now that I love him, I can do this properly."

"Oh, well, you're welcome, I guess!" Legosi scratched at his ear. "I think your plan for him sounds really nice. He deserves it."

Louis sighed. "But I only want that plan for us. I want to show him how much I appreciate him. It's almost nerve-wracking for some reason."

"I think he'll love it no matter what. The way he was looking at you yesterday said it all."

"How was he looking at me?"

"Like there were times when he would get really quiet and go like this." Legosi stared at the deer with wide eyes and mouth slightly open.

The buck snorted and let out a laugh. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"It means you were saying things that made him speechless."

The deer finished laughing by rolling his eye. "I'm confident in my sexual abilities. I don't want him to forget it."

"He won't. You offer something Bill doesn't." Legosi covered his face then. "And I actually have experience with both...so I'd know."

"What do I offer?"

"Finesse, mostly, if that makes sense. And your lovemaking sessions last longer."

"But you came twice!" Louis argued.

"Just because Bill gave me a hand job in the shower. You could do that too."

"Maybe I will! I'm so jealous..." Louis whined.

"Really? Well, we can do stuff tonight!"

"Oh! Well, we could go there sometime too! Bill said he might take me so we should go before that." Legosi smiled, encouragingly.

"I don't think I could pull an all-nighter though," Louis said. "Wow, you already have a date lined up, too."

"Well, he just mentioned it if it goes well with Pina. I wouldn't want to do an all-night thing either, with you or Bill."

"Bill would absolutely destroy you," Louis teased. "I might have to stay home and take care of you...If they let me."

"Hope this Branded thing is over by the time that happens," Legosi sighed.

"Bill in the Shisigumi, wow," Louis blinked. "I didn't see that coming."

"Me either. I wonder if they'll even let him, but I think Melon-san not being a lion might mean he can get in. I'm worried, though."

"Worried?"

"Yeah. But if anyone can do it, Bill can." Confidence returned in Legosi's voice.

"Smitten with the kitten," the deer said, pulling out his phone. Already, there was a text from Pina. It said he's waiting for Tuesday and he better not disappoint.

Legosi pulled out his phone to a text from Bill. It had a bunch of hearts and smiley faces and party poppers.

Both animals smiled dorkily and pulled their bodies together. They had a long, fun road ahead with their boyfriends.

Legosi had to leave for work almost immediately, which left Louis at home by himself. He decided that he would withhold from texting Pina so that way it would be even better when they saw each other again. The deer took a lot of time for himself. He put on music, cooked himself lunch, masturbated twice throughout the day (once to Legosi and once to Pina), and then started a random conversation with Bill who couldn't help but text him every single detail of their fornication the day before.

Louis was his old sexual self in text and Bill talked about plans he had for his new wolf and the things he had planned for Pina that night. The buck used this opportunity to ask what kind of stuff Pina liked, but cut Bill off halfway through to say he'd actually rather figure that out for himself with Pina.

Louis heard the telltale footfalls of Legosi outside the room just as he was about to finish the egg sandwiches with cheese he was making. The wolf wasted little time getting in and taking his shoes off before walking in and hugging Louis.

The deer, who was only wearing his apron, squeezed him. "I'm so happy you're home, Legosi. I missed you so much."

"I missed you, too. I love just being home with you like this." Legosi sniffed the yummy food and licked Louis' forehead.

"Hey, don't waste your sniffer on that food. There's a whole deer for you right here," Louis grinned.

"Mmm, your smell compliments every other scent, so it's fine." The wolf then sniffed underneath his ear and licked there, too.

Louis tugged at his pants. "Clothes offf," he whined.

"Oh, how could I forget!" The wolf stepped into the middle of the room and stripped, putting the clothes in their hamper.

Louis nodded. "That's more like it. It's not home without your big honker wagging around."

Legosi snorted. "Who calls it a honker?"

"Don't judge me." He continued preparing the food. "How was work?"

"Oh, it was good! My bug presentations are really popular now, I think! People ask questions, and I see a lot of familiar faces there." Legosi's tail wagged over his bare butt as he walked back over.

Louis grabbed the bread out of the cabinet and took two slices out, setting it on the plate. After, he used the spatula to slide the eggs onto one of the slices, gently. "I made the eggs more cheesy than usual. I hope you like it. That's really great to hear about your presentations, honey." He grabbed the other slice and flipped it over onto the rest of the sandwich.

"Yeah! It feels really good. That painful first day seems so far away now..." Legosi hovered over and sniffed the eggs, his ever wagging tail a sign of approval.

Louis held up the plate. "Eat up!"

Suddenly, Legosi's phone was buzzing from where he set it down.

"Oomph! I bet that's Bill." Legosi swallowed the bite of food he took. "He was texting me a lot during my shift, too." He stood up to get the phone.

The cat immediately answered. "Hey, babe. I was just calling to check in before Pina and I go to the love hotel."

"I'm doing alright! Work was nice. I hope you guys have fun."

"Hey, hey! Don't try and get away so fast! Tell me about it! I'm interested."

"Oh, I thought you'd wanna be on your way. Uh..." Legosi walked back to the table, smiling at Louis. "My presentations went really well. I think they're fairly popular now."

"Really? That's awesome. Sell a lot of bugs?"

Legosi took another bite of his food and adjusted the phone to his other ear. "We had a few sales directly from the presentations, yeah. Probably, uhh, seven."

"Moving up the ladder! You get 'em, tiger~" Legosi could hear the growl in Bill's voice.

"You're the tiger!" Legosi jabbed. "My boss is really pleased with me, though."

"If I were home with you, I'd show you just how pleased I am with you, too!"

"Oh really. Tell me about it." He took another bite of the sandwich. "Also, do you wanna say hi to Louis? He's giving me a funny look."

"Wait, wait! First I got something for you. Open your messages."

"Yeah, okay, I am." Legosi's claws tapped on the screen.

Suddenly, an image appeared of Bill smiling rather attractively, holding up a peace sign with his striped hand. Pina was turned around in the background, clearly not paying attention.

"Did you get it?" Bill asked. "It says it sent but sometimes it doesn't."

"Oh, that's a nice picture of you! You look cute. Also sorry for the sounds, I'm eating."

"Eh, it's fine! I'm gonna be eating soon, too~" He purred. "I'm glad you love the picture. I didn't send or show that to Pina. It's just for you, baby."

"Oh...that's sweet. I'll send you one later, too."

"I miss you, wolf."

Legosi giggled. "I miss you, too, even if it's been a few hours. It was a really fun day. I just keep thinking about the first nice thing you did for me, comforting me in the bathroom after Louis got taken by his dad. Who knew we'd eventually be here, huh?"

"It's fucking awesome," Bill laughed. "I was so happy with the sex I bragged to both Louis and Pina. They're totes jealous."

Legosi chuckled as well. "Well, you read Louis' plan for Pina, right? Don't know if they'll be jealous after that."

"Oh, I'm fucking excited for them. Damn...wish I was petting your fur right now," Bill huffed. "Um, anyway, I guess I should let you go..."

"If you have nothing else to talk about. Me and Louis have to do that essay thing for our therapy, and you get to have a fun night with Pina. You'll have to tell us how the love hotel is."

"Oh, I will! Let you know what you're in for. I'll call you and check in tomorrow, okay?"

Legosi giggled. "Okay, Bill. That's really sweet of you. Our therapy is usually out by noon."

"I'll call you at 1, then!" Bill sounded excited. "Of course, I'll text you good morning, too! Oh, and after Pina and I have our fifth round, I'll message you goodnight."

"I appreciate it, but don't overexert yourself! You'll get to see me Wednesday, too. We'll at least have to talk and plan about that."

"I'm going to kiss you so hard, babe." He laughed. "Okay, bye!" And then he hung up.

Legosi placed his phone down and shook his head, smiling. "Wow, I didn't know Bill would be so intense. It's kind of adorable."

"I couldn't hear the conversation, but you were smiling like an idiot the whole time," Louis said.

"Yeah, he's just a big goof. He's really excited about this whole thing." Legosi finished up his sandwich. "Mmm, thank you for the food, by the way!"

Louis was still eating his own. "You're very welcome. So...that essay."

Legosi groaned. "My mind keeps pushing it out..."

"We can show up to therapy with nothing if you want. Maybe the Bill and Pina news will counteract it?"

"That's just us being lazy though, right?" Legosi asked.

Louis groaned. "Who cares? We've had days to think about it and we still can't think of anything, let alone an entire essay. What is she going to do, send us to prison for not doing homework?"

"Maybe," Legosi said dryly. "Seriously though, I do think you blame yourself for too much. Maybe I'll just write that and that'll be it."

"You don't think I'm right? Ichi wanted me for this Branded operation and you just happened to be a part of my life."

"Yes, but it's not your fault! I keep saying this, Lou! Ichi is the only one at fault here." Legosi laid his head on his hands and huffed.

"Imagine if we had never met. What would your life be like? You'd be in the shadows and fine, right? Not saying I'm not happy we met. This is just an example."

"I'd still be shut in and depressed and you, you might have..." Legosi didn't even want to say it.

"...I would be a Beastar."

"Or dead," the wolf whispered.

Louis came closer. "I failed the times I tried before we were together."

Legosi shook his head. "Well, I still think you blame yourself too much, but I won't bring it up to Rikona since right now it ties into the cult stuff."

Now, Louis was thinking. "Would you even have found out you were homosexual if we never met?"

"Um, maybe? Or I would have just gone my whole life thinking I was broken." The wolf smiled up at him. "I know you think you've hurt me just by being in my life, but you haven't. Really...the only time you've hurt me is when you pushed me away to prevent me from being 'hurt' more..."

"And then you hurt yourself..." Louis whispered. "I can't help thinking about it. We wouldn't be in any of these situations if we had never met. But...we also wouldn't be in any of these," he gestured around the room, "situations if we had never met." He sighed. "I guess it takes everything we go through to go through everything we go through."

"We also met a lot of new people from being together," Legosi pointed out.

"Bill and Pina..." Louis said. "But we also met a lot of horrible people from being together."

"Yeah, but fuck them," Legosi said casually. "Actually, if we had both stayed in the drama club, we would have been around Pina and Bill still, but we may never have become, well, this."

The deer looked down at his silver ring. "If we had never met, all these bad things wouldn't have happened, but we also wouldn't be happy..."

Legosi stood up and hugged him. "Yeah. Something I've learned this last year is that nothing in life is black and white."

"Careful, Legosi, you're about to make me make a gay joke."

Legosi nuzzled him. "Please, may I hear it, hon? I love your jokes."

"Life isn't black and white. It's a...wait for it...rainbow." As he said the last word, he made an arc motion with his hands. "At least, our lives are."

That got Legosi's tail wagging as he licked the deer's face. "Good job, Lou!"

The buck blushed. "Just as long as you're not proud of me if I make a pun."

"Oh yeah, you hate puns." Legosi squeezed him. "So, no essay?"

"Mmm...no essay," Louis shrugged. "How about an...assay—see, I ruined it. I told you, puns are the worst."

"Are you sure about that?" Legosi turned around and rubbed his butt on the deer's body.

Louis blushed. "Even if I ruin something I could easily fix it..." He grabbed Legosi's tail in spun it in circles.

"And not everything is ruined so easily," Legosi added.

"Unless it's your ass when you go on that love hotel date with Bill."

Legosi blushed deeply. "Oh shut up you..."

Louis held him and pulled him back against him, still wearing his 'carnivore tamer' apron. "Would you like to go shopping with me tomorrow after therapy?"

"Oh, of course!"

Louis grinned. "How about I take this apron off and you give me that tongue bath?"

"Gladly~"
