The next day Ash, Ashley, Brock, and Dawn left Sandgem Town to continued their quest. Along the way Dawn and her Piplup encounter a small, bipedal, rabbit-like Pokémon with brown ears that can curl up that Dawn was very looking forward to catching it.

Ashley had her Espeon on lap as she was brushing her fur with the brush on her right hand and has her purple Pokédex on her left hand scanning this new Pokémon.'Buneary, the Rabbit Pokémon. By quickly extending its rolled-up ears, it can launch a powerful attack against its enemies.'Ashley was quickly putting her Pokédex away as she continued brushing her Espeon. "This is going to be an interesting catch Espeon! I don't mind having a Buneary on my team." Espeon started purring lightly as she was enjoying getting brushed by her trainer.

Dawn though she had a perfect shot to catch it. "Get it this time, Dawn!" Ash exclaimed as he was holding his fits tightly together. Ashley slightly chuckled a little of her twin brother usual cheerful attitude towards someone.

Dawn was getting so excited of catching her very first Pokémon here in the Sinnoh Region. "I know. It'll be fine!" Dawn exclaimed as she was getting prepared to throw a Pokeball, which it wasn't even that large.

Ash noticed that Dawn's Pokeball was very small, as Ashley was still brushing her Espeon's fur. "Hey! The Pokeball is still small!" Ash was warning the young trainer. Dawn quickly started freaking out a little while Ash began speaking in a determination tone. "What are you doing? It's gonna escape."

Dawn groaned angrily at Ash's bossy comments towards her and started speaking in a sarcastically tone. "I said it'll be fine." Dawn was expanding the Ball into the larger size. "I need you, Pokeball!" She throws it, but it slips and hits Ash in the face. Ashley watched her twin brother fell down on the cold ground, as she stopped brushing her Espeon's fur. "Sorry!" Dawn apologized to him as she watched Ash getting up from the ground.

Ash glared angrily at Dawn as Ashley was slowly putting away the brush and started scolding her. "Geez! Where the heck are you throwing?"

Dawn puts her hands on her hips angrily as she was getting pretty annoyed at him . "It wasn't on purpose! My hand slipped because you were complaining so much!" Dawn have began arguing with Ash.

Ashley started face palming herself as her Espeon gotten a little annoyed of the silly argument. "Oh boy! Espeon their arguing right now." Ashley muttered under her breath.Ashley hissing a little as she quickly got up from the gray rock with Espeon jumping out of her lap then the two slowly walking over Buneary.

Ash clenched his fits speaking through gritted teeth. "Because you weren't doing it right!" Ashley rolled her eyes of annoyance as she was looking at the wild Buneary.

Ashley turned her direction towards her Espeon and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Espeon, Swift!" Espeon opens its mouth and yellow stars shooting out of it towards Buneary. Buneary jumps high into the air, front flips as it falls and kicks Espeon. "Dodge it!" Ashley shouted loudly as her Espeon dodged the attack. "Iron Tail!" Espeon's entire tail glows white and hitting Buneary against it.

Brock and Pikachu watched carefully at Ashley's Espeon battling against Buneary as they were hearing Dawn arguing at Ash. "That doesn't mean you have to get so angry!" Buneary gathering energy in its mouth, and firing a white beam from it directly towards at Espeon.

Ashley clenched her fits speaking through gritted teeth. "Swift!" Espeon opens its mouth and yellow stars shooting out of it directly towards Buneary. Brock gently smiled at Ashley's focusing on the battle while Ash and Dawn were still arguing with each other.

Dawn's Piplup slowly turned her direction to noticed that Ashley grabbed the Pokeball out of her bag then expended. "If you don't want me to, just throw the Pokeball like normal!" Ash continued yelling at Dawn angrily as Ashley shrugged her shoulder and throwing the Poké Ball as Buneary goes in and the Ball rattles before locking.

Ashley quickly rushed over towards her newly caught Buneary as she kneel down and took it off the ground. "Awesome, I'm going to name you, Angel!" Ashley exclaimed as she was glazed at her latest new Pokémon she caught then looked down at her Espeon and started speaking in her cheerful attitude. "Look Espeon, we caught are self a Buneary!" Brock slightly chuckled under his breath a little.

Espeon was quickly jumping up and down of excitement. "Espeon, Eon!" Espeon was yapping of excitement.

Piplup widen its eyes in shocked as he saw Ashley caught the Buneary while both Dawn and Ash were still arguing with each other. "Piplup, Piplup, Pip!" Piplup pointed to them directly at Ashley where Buneary got caught.

Ash and Dawn widen their eyes in shocked when they saw Ashley was holding the Pokeball. "Ah! Ashley caught Buneary!" Both looked each other as they started glaring angrily.Ashley was quickly facing palming herself as she watched her twin brother and new traveling friend, with unamused look on her face.

Dawn glared angrily at Ash as she was upset that she didn't caught herself a Buneary. "Geez, It got caught by your sister!" Dawn snapped angrily at him as Ashley was slowly walking over back to Brock with Espeon on her side.

Ash clenched his fits speaking through gritted teeth. "So this is my fault, now?" Ashley's Espeon quickly looked at Ash's Pikachu with an annoyed look on her face.

Dawn glared at Ash once more as she was very annoyed of him at the moment. "Yeah, it's because of all your whining!" Dawn claimed through her gritted teeth, as Ashley was blinking her eyes a few more times.

Ash fits was clenching very hard as he glanced at Dawn once more. "You're the one whining!" Ash snapped once more towards her. Both of Ash and Dawn gave each other the angrily stared while Ashley was muttering under her breath.

Later on the four were heading towards the Pokémon Center as Dawn and Ash continued arguing with each other, "Well, shoot. Because of a certain someone, I missed my chance to get a Buneary." Dawn snorted as they were continued walking.

Ash looked at the other direction with his armed crossed over his chest and started speaking in a lower tone. "Well, shoot. If I'd known it'd end up like this, I'd have got it instead." Ashley clenched her fits tightly angrily as she was getting very annoyed right now.

Dawn turned her direction towards Ash with an annoyed look on her face and started scolding him. "Just be quiet when watching next time, okay?" Ashley was quickly face palming herself once again.

Ash was looked away at Dawn as they were stopped walking. "...If you can do it right." Ash started teasing the young trainer.

Dawn glanced at Ash once more and started speaking in a sarcastically tone. "I said I'll be fine!" Ashley stared at Brock for the moment as she was getting more annoyed from before.

Ash turned his direction towards Dawn as he was just glancing at her and started scolding her. "You weren't fine earlier."

Ashley was biting her lower lip tightly, as her Espeon just looked at her with unanimous on her face. "I will be fine next time." Dawn snorted, as she was still glaring at him.

"You won't be fine next time, either." Ash continued teasing her once more, as Ashley was face palming herself and cursing under her breath.

"I said I'll be fine, so I'll be fine!" Dawn retorted as she was clenching her fits tightly in anger. Ashley turned her direction towards Brock with a concerned look on her face.

Ash clenched his fits speaking through gritted teeth. "And I said you won't be, so you wouldn't be!" Ashley clenched her teeth tightly as she had enough with those two right now.

Brock was getting angered right now as he had enough of the arguing between the two. "You'reboth, hurting my ears." Brock roared of angered by this issue before. All of sudden a ray of intense sunlight was glowing on all four of them.

Ash glazed at the ray of sunlight was glowing above them and started speaking in a calmer tone. "What's that?"

Dawn was amazed at the beauty and started speaking in a softer tone. "It'spretty." Ashley slowly took out her book from her bag as she was turning a few pages.

"That's called Sunny Day!" Brock reminded them as they were looking at the ray of sunlight once more, while Ashley turned her book around and showing the image of it.

Ash turned his direction back at Brock with a confused look on his face. "Sunny Day?" Ash asked curiously as he stared at the book page of what his twin sister is showing both him and Dawn.

"It's a move Fire-type Pokémon use to temporarily raise their power." Brock explained to them, watching the ray of sunlight as Ashley was putting her book back into her bag.

Dawn turned back her direction at the ray of sunlight and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "It makes me feel brighter too." A bipedal, rosebud-like Pokémon and Its face is yellow with small, slit-like eyes approaching to the group.

Ash and the others were amazed of this new Pokémon approaching to them. "What's this little cutie of a Pokémon?" Ashley exclaimed as she slowly took out her purple Pokédex to scan a newer Pokémon.'Budew, the Bud Pokémon. In winter, it keeps its bud closed to survive the cold, but then opens it again in the spring.'Ashley was quickly putting her Pokédex away as her Espeon was staring at Budew. "Aww! That's an adorable Pokémon, that I ever seen before." Ashley gushed as she was clapping her hands together of excitement.

"Yeah." A voice answered in a gentle tone as the group saw a tall young man with light skin, shoulder-length black hair, along with a green hat and a green cape held together by a red gem and blue cravat, over a blue vest, off-white shirt, grey trousers, and black boots was standing next to the tree as he began speaking in a softer tone . "It your heart is rough, your word will become rough too." He steps out from behind a tree, playing a golden harp shaped like a Mew."The Bud Pokemon Budew...will clear the skies in your heart with Sunny Day. Please, let it calm your feelings." He stopped playing his harp as he was looking at Ash and Dawn with a gentle smile on his face. "How do you feel? Has your heated quarrel cooled."

Ashley was amazed of this sweet melodies in the music, she's hoping that her twin brother Ash, and her new traveling friend Dawn would have stop fighting right now from before. "I enjoyed this beautiful sound of this music! It makes others calm down." Ashley exclaimed as she was clapping her hands together.

The tall young man with light skin, shoulder-length black hair stared back at the others with a gentle smile on his face. "That's good." He responded in a well manner tone.

"I'm Ash." Ash introducing himself to the young man with light skin, shoulder-length black hair with Pikachu still on his shoulder.

"I'm his twin sister Ashley." Ashley introducing herself as she was holding her hands together tightly. Espeon blinked her eyes a few times as she was staring at Budew.

Dawn gave the the young man with light skin, shoulder-length black hair a cheerful smile on her face. "I'm Dawn." She was introducing herself to him.

"Call me Brock." Brock was introducing himself with his usual cheerful attitude towards the young man with light skin, shoulder-length black hair.

"I'm Nando, a Pokémon minstrel. I am on a journey with this Budew to sing about the Pokémon world." Nando explained to the others as he was still holding his golden harp.

"Wow..." Ash muttered under his breath as he was impressed of Nando's journey about singing about the Pokémon World.

Brock stared at Nando with a gentle smile on his face and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "That's sounds like an interesting journey."

Ashley slightly nodded of understanding as she was clapping her hands together. "I agree with Brock on this. It's does actually sound an interesting journey to matter the least." Ashley exclaimed as her Espeon shook her head lightly agreeing with her trainer.

Dawn clenched her fits tightly of excitement as she turned her direction towards Ash. "That's right! Ash, I'm going to show you my power." Dawn exclaimed, which Ashley was blinking her eyes a few times in confusion then she turned her direction back towards Nando. "Nando, won't you battle me?" Dawn asked calmly with a bright smile on her face.

''If you think we'll make good opponents, then sure.'' Nando answered with his gentle smile on his face. Ashley's Espeon was slowly walking closer to Nando's Budew.

Ash turned his direction towards Dawn with a serious look on his face. ''But this is your first battle with a Trainer, Isn't it?'' Ash asked confusedly.

Ashley slightly shook her head lightly as she was giving Dawn a concern look on her face. "He's right for once Dawn! This is your first official battle after all." Ashley exclaimed as she was looking back at Nando.

"I'll be fine! Just leave it to me!" Dawn responded in her usual cheerful attitude towards at both Ashley and Ash as she was still clenching her fits tightly.

"By the way, are you aiming for the Sinnoh League!" Nando asked curiously at the young trainer.

Dawn started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "No, I'm aiming for the Grand Festival." Ashley's Espeon was continued staring at Nando's Budew as she was slowly walking back towards her trainer.

"I see. Then we should battle as if it were a Contest. As for the place, there is a perfect spot just ahead." Nando explained to them as he was escorting everyone over to a nearby clearing.

Then later on Dawn and the others have arrived at the nearby clearing as Dawn was expending her Pokeball into a larger size while facing against Nando and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "If this is going to be like a Contest, then I have to send out my Pokémon like I'm in one, too!" Ashley's Espeon jumped on her trainer's lap as she was getting a better look of the battle. "Alright Piplup, Spotlight!" Dawn was sending out her Piplup onto the battlefield.

"Now then, you can go first." Nando gently offered to the young blue hair trainer. Ashley placed her finger against her chin as she was watching the battle between Dawn and Nando.

"Okay!" Dawn responded in a overconfidence tone on her voice as she was staring at Nando's Budew.'The opponent is a Grass type. One hit with a Flying-type move will do.'Dawn was clenching her fits tightly once more and started speaking in a overconfidence tone. "Piplup! Peck attack!" Piplup's beak glows white, as he was preparing his attack directly towards Budew.

"Please dodge." Nando exclaimed as his Budew dodges easily, jumping up in the air.Ashley glanced at how Nando's Budew have easily dodged from Piplup's attack. "Bullet Seed." Budew firing the yellow seeds at directly towards Piplup from its mouth.

Ashley quickly got up from the ground as her Espeon jumped out of her lap. "No way! That's a Grass type move, it's a type disadvantages against Water- types like Piplup!" Ashley exclaimed as she was still watching the battle between Dawn and Nando.

Dawn clenched her fits tightly as she started speaking in overconfident tone. "Dodge it!" Piplup was dodging the Bullet Seed attack, "Now it's my turn! Piplup, Bubble Beam!" Piplup opens its beak and releasing a stream of blue bubbles at Budew. "All right!" Dawn exclaimed as she noticed that Nando's Budew came out of the smoke and started speaking in a panicked tone. "How? It was even a direct hit."

Ash stared at the battlefield once more as he was crossing his arms tightly. "Water type moves are not very effective against Grass type like Budew." Ash exclaimed clenching his fits tightly.

"That's why it intentionally took the hit, which made it jump higher. Not only that, but it even used the smoke for a finishing pose." Brock explained as he noticed that Ashley's face expression was more concerned for her.

"Solar Beam, please." Nando responded in a gentle tone on his voice as his Budew opens up the bud on top of its head and gathering energy inside of it.

'Solar Beam, will take a bit of time to fire.'Dawn stared at the battlefield once more with a overconfident look on her face and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Piplup! Peck attack!" Piplup's beak glows white, as he was preparing his attack directly towards Budew.

Ashley crossed her arms over her shoulder as she realized that Sunny Day was is still in effect for Budew. "Fire." Nando responded in a gentle tone on his voice. Budew firing a white beam from the orb immediately, scoring a hit and incapacitating on Piplup.

"Piplup!" Dawn fretted as she was quickly rushing over towards her Piplup and gently picked up her Pokémon by her both arms. "Piplup!" Dawn muttered under her breath.

"It seems like that's it." Nando responded in a gentle tone, while holding his golden harp. Ashley, Brock, and Ash were quickly rushing over to Dawn's side.

Dawn was still holding her Piplup tightly in her arms and started speaking in a softer tone. "But how were you able to fire off Solar Beam that quickly?"

"Thanks to the earlier Sunny Day, the sunlight was stronger than usual." Brock explained with a big smile on his face as Ashley slightly nodded of agreement.

Dawn slowly took a deep breath then looked back at her Piplup. "I see. Sorry, Piplup." Dawn apologized as she was feeling a little upset that she lost her first Pokémon battle.

Nando was slowly walking over to Dawn with a gentle smile on his face and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Dawn. That was a great battle. I can't believe it was your first."

Dawn quickly got up from the ground as she was still holding Piplup and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "You mean it? Thank you."

"Nando and Budew's performance battle was really inspiring, wasn't it?" Brock replied towards to the young trainer as Ashley slightly nodded of agreement.

"That's right! You just gotta get stronger from here on out!" Ash exulted, pumping his fist in the air in delight.

"Now then, everyone. Have a fun journey." Nando replied, walking away from them as Ashley blinked her eyes a few times, watching Nando left them behind.

Later on, as the sunset passed while the four trainer were walking towards the forest pathway. "I'm bad at getting Pokémon and I lost that battle...It's not fine at all." Dawn responded, feeling down about her lost against Nando today and didn't caught a single Pokémon.

"Don't worry about it! If you eat until you're full and get a good sleep, tomorrow will be a good day." Ash chuckled as they were still walking towards the forest pathway.

Ashley turned her direction towards Dawn with a small smile on her face and started speaking in a softer tone. "He does have a good point, Dawn! Taking a good rest will calm down the stress of course."

Dawn blinked her eyes a few times as she was looking at Ashley's Espeon. "Wait! I forgot to scan your Espeon!" Dawn muttered under her breath as she took out her pink Pokédex on her left hand scanning this Pokémon.'Espeon, the Sun Pokémon. It uses the fine hairs that cover its body to sense air currents and predict an opponent's movement.'Dawn quickly was putting away her Pokédex back. "You call it 'sleep', but were camping outside again, aren't we?"

Brock looks at his guidebook as they we're still walking to the forest pathway. "Nope. There's a Pokémon Center just ahead of us." Brock exclaimed to the blue hair trainer.

"Really?" Dawn squealed, jumping up and down of excitement. "Yes! I'm finally liberated from camping outside! I can take a shower and sleep in a bed!" Dawn exclaimed as she was clapping her hands together.

"Okay! Come out, Bonsly!" Brock exclaimed as he was sending out a round, brown Pokémon with the top of its head resembling a club along with three yellow spots on its face, two of which surround its eyes, which are small black dots. It has short legs and toeless feet out of the Pokeball.Brock was holding his Bonsly into his arms and started speaking in his usual cheerful attitude. "Bonsly, let's get you a check-up by Nurse Joy at the Pokémon Center."

Dawn quickly took out her pink Pokédex from her pocket and started speaking in a calmer tone. "This little one is an Bonsly, huh?" Dawn began scanning Brock's Bonsly.'Bonsly, the Bonsai Pokémon. Being a Rock type, it can get weak if its body contains too much water, so it secretes that water from both sides of its body to regulate it.'

"Are your other Pokémon here with you as well?" Ash asked curiously at the former gym leader as Ashley and her Espeon were looking at Brock with a confused look on their faces.

"Nope. They're at Pewter Gym. My younger brothers are looking after them." Brock explained to him as he was still holding his Bonsly into his arms tightly.

Dawn turned her direction towards Ash and Ashley with a confused look on her face. "Gym?" Dawn asked curiously.

"Yeah. Pewter Gym in Pewter City. Brock used to be the Gym Leader there." Ash explained to the blue hair trainer as his twin sister nodded of understanding.

Dawn was surprised that she actually meet a former Gym Leader and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Really? That's amazing!"

Shortly after a little while of walking to the pathway in the forest, the four of them arrived at the nearby Pokémon Center. "Good evening, Nurse Joy!" Brock exclaimed.

The local Nurse Joy was walking over to Ash and the gang with a greeted smile on her face. "Good evening. Welcome to the Pokémon Center." Nurse Joy greeted them.

Nurse Joy giggle under her breath as she started to explained. "No. I'm the little sister of Sandgem Town's Nurse Joy." She explaining, smiling at the blue hair trainer.

Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she turned her direction to noticed a younger girl with violet eyes, along with a light pink bow ties back long, straight blonde albino, with straight-cut bangs right above the eyebrows. She wore a white long-sleeved blouse that has a black and light pink cuff accent with a tiny ribbon to match that on the frilly collar, which is attached to a pearl chain, a frilly bib piece is sewn with light pink lace trim and three black buttons in the center, the white dress has a pleated skirt, covered with tiny hearts, ribbons, and several cookies, chocolate, and present boxes, then the hem has lines of light pink, while on the waist is a thin black band, a ruffled, dark pink trim sticks out from the bottom of the dress, and silk pink heels with a solid, thick heel along with a pearl strap resides on top of the foot.

Ashley narrowed her eyes lightly at the younger girl who was just sitting on the bench, brushing a quadruped, mammalian Pokémon covered with pale cream-colored fur with blue feet, ears, and tail then it has light pink eyes, long ears with pink interiors and thicker fur, a tiny nose, and two stray tufts of fur on top of its head, but there are two bows on its body: one at the base of its left ear and one on its neck but each bow is pale cream with a blue center and trails a pair of ribbon-like feelers but finally the feelers are pale cream with light pink tips with a brush.

Ashley slowly walked over to the younger girl and her quadruped, mammalian Pokémon with Espeon on her side, ignoring Brock flirting with the local Nurse Joy. "Excuse me!" Ashley exclaimed, smiling at the younger girl. The younger girl stopped brushing her quadruped, mammalian Pokémon's fur as she was staring at Ashley's confusedly. "Sorry. I interpreted something, I just wanted to know what kinda of Pokémon is that?" Ashley apologized as her Espeon was staring directly at the quadruped, mammalian Pokémon.

The younger girl started chuckling lightly under her breath and started speaking in a softer tone. "It's a Sylevon! You've never seen it before." Ashley slightly shook her head no.

"No not really! This is is the first time I actually seen it before!" Ashley responded, smiling at the younger girl as she took out her Pokédex from her bag and began scanning it.'No Data!'Ashley mouth was wide in shocked as she quickly put her Pokédex back into her pocket. "I don't get it! I thought this Pokémon is from the Sinnoh Region!" Ashley responded as she was surprised that it's no information about it.

"That's because my Sylevon is a shiny Pokémon!" The younger girl responded, smiling as she was putting her brush down on the bench. "Hey my name is Josette and this is my partner Elvie! We came here all the from the Kalos Region." Josette was introducing herself as Elvie jumped out of Josette's lap and slowly walking over to Espeon with a warm smile on her face.

Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she was surprised that she never heard of this region before. "The Kalos Region!" Ashley muttered under her breath, smiling. "I'm Ashley and this is my partner Espeon! It's nice to meet you Josette and Elvie." Ashley was introducing herself, as she shook Josette's hand.

Josette accepted Ashley's hand shake as she pulled away from it and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "Thanks, same goes for you Ashley."

Elvie gave Espeon a high five with her feelers. "Lucille! I'm just wondering what kind of type is your Sylevon?" Ashley asked curiously as she was looking at Josette's violets eye.

"How about we have a battle between you're Espeon against Elvie!" Josette responded, smiling as she slowly was walking outside of the Pokémon Center, with Ashley and Espeon following them.

Ashley glanced at the battlefield as she was facing against Josette and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Espeon, Swift!" Espeon opens its mouth and yellow stars shooting out of it directly towards Elvie.

Josette watched the yellow stars were coming directly towards her Elvie. "My dear Elvie, Fairy Wind!" Josette responding, with an overconfident tone. Elvie pulls its feelers together, and the air around them starts to glow light blue. Ashley was confused about the move that she never heard of before. Elvie then spreads its feelers wide open, sending a strong gust of wind at the yellow stars.

The wind went against the yellow stars then went back hitting Espeon against it. Ashley gasped in shocked, "W-What? H-How is it possible?" Ashley stuttered as her Espeon was getting up from the ground.

Josette slightly chuckled under her breath and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "As you might see that Ashley! Sylevon is a Fairy Type!" Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she was completely confused once more. "Elvie, Disarming Voice!" Josette exclaimed, smiling as her Elvie opens its mouth and releases a beam of purple hearts in a loud shrieking voice, hitting Espeon in the process.

Ashley gasped in shocked once more. "Espeon! You need to get up!" Ashley shouted loudly in a panicked mood as she watched her Espeon trying to get up from the ground. "Iron Tail!" Espeon's entire tail glows white and, jumping into the air as she was about to hit Elvie against it.

Josette smirked as she watched Espeon's Iron Tail was about to hit againstElvie and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Fairy Wind!" Elvie pulls its feelers together, and the air around them starts to glow light blue thenElvie then spreads its feelers wide open, sending a strong gust of wind at Espeon.

Espeon got knocked out on the ground once more as Ashley clenched her fits tightly, "Espeon, you need to get up!" Ashley snapped, trying to hold in her emotions as her Espeon was slowly getting up from the ground. "Good! Alright now use Psybeam!" Ashley exclaimed, as her Espeon's s forehead shines and it unleashing a multicolored beam directly towards at Elvie.

Josette slightly chuckled under her breath as she crossed her arm over her chest and started speaking in a calmer tone. "Protect!" Elvie stands on its hind legs and projects a bluish-green force field, protecting it from the Psybeam. "Elvie, Moonblast!" Elvie spreads its feelers wide open, and an image of the moon appears behind it as it then forms an orb of pink energy in front of its mouth, and firing it directly towards Espeon.

Ashley slowly watched her Espeon was incapacitating as she quickly rushed over to her side with a worried look on her face. "Oh no! I can't believe this!" Ashley muttered under her breath as she slowly picked up her Espeon. "Espeon, you've done a great job!" Ashley exclaimed, smiling at her Espeon.

Josette and her Elvie we're slowly walking over to both Ashley and her Espeon. "You've done a good job Ashley with you're first battle against with a Fairy type like my Sylevon!" Josette exclaimed, smiling at them as her Sylevon nodded of agreement.

Ashley turned her direction towards Josette with a small smile on her face and started speaking in a softer tone. "Yeah! That was a fun battle, Josette!" Espeon nodded her head lightly as she slowly walking over towards at Elvie, with a cheerful smile on her face. "So, whatis the Kalos Region, Josette?" Ashley asked curiously as she was getting a little curious about this region.

Josette slightly chuckled under her breath and started speaking in her usual cheerful attitude. "The Kalos region is shaped like a five-pointed star, with one of its biggest cities being Lumiose City! When a new trainer we're starting out they have to go to Lumiose City to receive a Starter Pokémon from Professor Sycamore!" Ashley blinked her eyes a few times as she was getting confused. "In the Kalos Region trainers can pick Chespin a grass type, Fennkien a fire type and finally Froakie a water type." Josette explained, smiling at the young trainer.

Ashley was getting slightly interested of this region and started speaking in a softer tone. "Woah! That's really amazing, Josette? I wa—-."

"I'm Sorry Ashley I should get going back to the Pokémon Center and my older sister is worried where I went off to this time." Josette apologize as she gave Ashley a smile on her face. "But if we ever bumped into each other again! I'm looking forward to battle you!" Josette exclaimed, winking at Ashley as she was walking away from the young trainer with Elvie on her side.

Ashley stared at the direction where Josette left off as she was biting her lower lip tightly. "I'm wondering what else they stored in the Kalos Region." Ashley muttered under her breath as she was blinking her eyes a few times.
