It has been 100 year since the collapse, everything in East United States was rusted and old. Skeletons of human being everywhere and empty cars of human and alien who were try to escape. There a robotic machine was floating around, It was Ghost who was looking for a new lightbearer. Its name was Daybreak, ahe was search abandon cars until it found a dead body of a person that died long ago
Daybreak says "I finally found you"
She make a shockwave of light and revive the fallen awoken, the awoken jump and said
"Who am I"
Daybreak respond "A Guardian, you have been dead for a long time, get up and grabs a weapon and knife your part of the Hunter class, we need to get out, this is fallen territory"
The Guardian nods and find a beat up hand Cannon and daybreak goes into the Guardian giving him his first light subclass which was the golden gun and the two sets off. The Guardian had question and daybreak respond and starts telling the guardian, of the Traveller and the Last City. The ghost give the guardian a name, Orion, and the two became friend
They went against fallen until the found a ship in a nearby Abandon hanger. Daybreak examined it
Orion asked "does it work"
He was a bit skeptical since ever thing around him was all rusted and most of the tech around him seem to be out of order
Day break responds "it does not have a warp drive but it will take us to the city"
Orion sighed and looks at the ship
"I guess that a start"
He gets in and let's daybreak fly the ship
Orion began to look out side as the ship flew through the skies of a a earth covered in rust and nature as wonder how he was died, better yet who he was. He felt anxious as he didn't know much except from what Daybreak told him about a last city and stuff The more he thought, the more he head ached.
Daybreak broke Orion thoughts with trying to make a conversation
"So guardian how do you feel?"
Orion responded "I am not sure how to feel, I don't really grasp at what I am, I mean all I know is from the point we met until now. It like I was just born today with the knowledge of speaking and understanding but nothing about my past"
Daybreak remained silent for a moment and then spoke after the brief silent
"I may not understand fully about your feelings, I know nothing about you to help as I just found your corpse today. I much as you want to gloom about it, I suggest not thinking about as it is a mystery that may never be solve"
Orion sighed as he knew daybreak was right in a way
"I just wished I knew more about my past but until then, I guess I have to move on"
Daybreak makes a nodding motion and looks at Orion
"You look like a teenager, how old are you"
Orion looked at daybreak make sure her heard right
"Umm daybreak you do remember I am a blank slate and I don't know my age nor my birthday right"
Daybreak just stops talking and disappears into the ships engine
Orion remains silent and just sat there in the cockpit as the ship enters the last city's airspace and make a landing.
When they land, Orion had to go through custom like where he was rezzed from, what is his class which was hunter, and get added to the record of guardians to roster purposes and given a place to live
Orion just followed his ghost Daybreak as it was her who did all the talking. After that Orion headed his quarter to rest as he was automatically put in a schedule for a mandatory meeting with the vanguard which he thought was just a some special type of guard not a group of three that leads guardians.
The time was midnight and Orion finally lays down of a bed that looks like it came from a hospital. He just lays there as daybreak floats around and finally passes out for the night
