Chapter Eleven

Just when Amanda and Dominick were going to leave. A female club member walked in to have Vance recognize her with walking over to the bar for a drink and food. However it will have seem the older woman in her fifties was anxious to get Vance's attention.

"Did you see that Dominick?" Amanda had to say softly in order for anyone else to hear her question.

"Yeah I did. I don't know I have never seen the woman. But it does look like Vance does and it's not a happy one at that?" He replied back to his wife. "Let's wait and see what happens Amanda." He said with needing another drink as he waved the waitress over for the order. "You want one Amanda?"

"Yeah I do all of a sudden. This is going to get interesting. "Waitress do you happened to know that woman at the bar talking angrily at Vance?" Amanda had to say with her expression changing on her face.

"That's Captain Ellen Martin his ex wife. Not too many know this other than his therapist. They were married for a short period of time." She stated before moving on to another table before heading for the bar with the drink orders.

"We need to find out more about this woman nevertheless Amanda in the morning and have the F.B.I. database check into the woman. I wonder why Vance is upset with the appearance of the woman all of a sudden?" He had to asked with his detective curiosity kicking in.

"I don't know Dominick. Let me go up and introduce myself to the club member. And see what kind of reaction I will get." She had gotten up to head for the bar as Vance was putting together the drinks for the club members. "Hi my name is Amanda. I see that you're a club member?"

"I am not a club member I am here visiting. Now if you don't mind I don't wish to be talking to you accept the bartender. Now please move away." She said nasty with her response and Amanda's...

"OUCH!" She moved back to her table with Dominick trying to hold back a snicker.

"Don't you even dare try laughing at me Dominick." She stated with the waitress bringing over their drinks. As she placed the two drinks onto the table she said the following...

"That was a mistake with trying to talk with her. She has some type of mental issue ever since there daughter Melissa was killed by a sniper in the Brooklyn park seven years ago. Both of them were devastated by the shooting of their daughter." The waitress replied with sadness.

"OMG! That is just horrible news. I hope to god that it never happens to my daughter ever or else we both will be a total mental mess." Amanda cried out with Dominick placing a hand onto her hand. "When we finish out drinks we need to get out of here."

Elliot was sitting in the living room somewhat unable to truly sleep after the sex he and his wife had earlier. He wasn't able to put a finger on it as to why he's not able to sleep. Maybe it had something to do with his new position for the Organized Crime Unit. he had gotten himself a drink after checking on Noah sound asleep on his side.

Moments later Olivia came out of the bedroom having placed on her robe covering her sexy nightgown. "What's wrong Elliot?" As she sat down next to him on the couch with the tv down low.

"Work mostly in regard to the latest case in regard to the Tiger Claw shootings. Otherwise nothing else is bothering me. I am extremely thrill Olivia with the baby and no doubt Noah will be once we tell him the news." He said with a smirk on his face as he holds his wife to give her a kiss.

"We will tell him tomorrow Elliot since it's too late to wake him. He needs his rest right now."

"Just like yourself Olivia?" He played with her with the question as she didn't know how to answer it.

"No I am not tired Elliot. Maybe I can make a sandwich before going to bed?" She said bed and not sleep with her words.

"I could use a sandwich and yourself at the same time." He joked with pulling his wife in closer to feel her body against his chest.

"You know something? The hell with the sandwich and head into the bedroom to continue this that you started my dear husband." She smiled with pulling his hand into the bedroom.

Ellen Martin had left the bar to wait across the street at the diner to see if she can follow Vance to his apartment complex. She was still angry at him for the way he treated her in the club after she argued with him to have him stay away after the two phone calls made.

She walked into the diner busy with it late. She was able to find a empty table overlooking the disco and the club.

It was almost an hour later after ordering eggs, bacon and toast along with two cups of coffee. She had noticed him leaving walking instead. She had wondered why he didn't to the club earlier.

After paying the bill quickly she headed out to follow him in her black SUV. And with taking out her scope down the empty street. She sees Vance walking slowly as if he didn't have a care in the world. When she fired three times into his head and chest as he fell to the cement and blood splatter...

She had driven off quickly with the security cameras picking her up as with the traffic cams and two eyed witnesses having looked through their window to see a woman firing a weapon from the window.

They had called 911 and with the police arriving...
