A/N: I wanted to do a short Pertemis one shot so this is what I came up with. I don't own Percy Jackson or any related media.

Percy Jackson was hanging out with his friends Phil and Logan in his mothers apartment after school getting ready for a sleepover while he was thinking about his moon. "Dude you have to show us how to fight with a sword! You told us how amazing of a fighter you are and we want to learn some of your moves. You never know when a monster might attack us." Logan shouted at him. Percy remembered when the mist had faded after the fight with Gaia for no reason Hecate or any other god could figure out. In response to mortals freaking out about the monsters, The gods decided to reveal themselves and their demigods to the mortals.

Percy tried to stay under the radar, but decided to tell his two closest mortal friends who he really was pleasantly surprised when they accepted him fully as some mortal lawmakers had tried to kidnap some of the demigods in order to study them or turn them into soldiers for the army. Obviously that hadn't worked well when the demigods banded together and rescued their own. They were gaining more and more support from normal citizens everyday as people started campaigning for demigods to have full rights around the world.

"Fine I'll start teaching you two how to wield a sword." Percy said as they both cheered and high fived each other. Percy smirked and the two started to get nervous at what he was planning for them when he continued. "But first, you two will have to follow a workout schedule devised by me. As you both are way too out of shape to wield a sword properly, you will be following that schedule until I deem you both ready." Percy finished and they paled when they realized this was Percy's way of getting back at them for their pestering.

All three of them were distracted when a large hawk landed on the railing outside of his window with a note in its talons. Percy went to open the window and the Hawk flew into his room dropping the letter on to his bed. He patted the Hawk on the head and it flew out of the room. Logan and Phil were curious as to who the letter was from when Percy started to pale really bad and hyperventilate badly while rushing around the room. "I'm so sorry that we can't do the sleepover tonight unless you guys want to stay here alone for a few hours. I have somewhere I need to be in 10 minutes and I'll be dead meat if I don't get there on time." Percy rushed around the room gathering his pen sword and a bow and quiver full of arrows that the two hadn't noticed there before. Logan and Phil were even more confused when Percy put on a silver hunting jacket and pants then into mist and disappeared. The mortals were curious as to what caused their friend to be scared for his life, picked up the letter and started reading it.

You better get your ass over to our usual meeting place. I've been here for 15 minutes and you haven't shown up yet. If you aren't here in 5 min, I will turn you into a Jackalope and let my hunters after you. Also you already have chore duty for the next month. Also grab your bow, I'm forcing you to use it for our date.

The two mortals were confused as Percy never mentioned a girlfriend. They both put their heads together to try to figure out who this was. They both knew it had to be someone from the godly world. They first tried to figure out which godly parent the female could have before they realized that it was a member of the hunters of Artemis. They both paled and looked at each other when it hit them on who it was. They started feeling really sorry for the friend and hoped he would come back alive and in one piece.

Percy appeared in the forest where he was supposed to meet his date for the night Artemis. He was very nervous when he saw the angry expression on his girlfriend's face. He readied himself for his fate when Artemis started laughing her ass off. "I suppose Zoe and Phoebe will have to take your chore duties and I will have to reward you for being such a good boyfriend." Artemis said while walking up to a very confused Percy. He was brought out of his confusion when Artemis kissed him for all she was worth. Percy started kissing back while wrapping his arms around his girlfriend. When they pulled back from each other, Percy asked a burning question on his mind.

"You scared the crap out of me Artemis. Did you really have to be so mean as to think I missed one of our dates. I was genuinely worried for my life." Percy said with a pout. Before Artemis could answer him, Phoebe and Thalia jumped out of their hiding place startling Percy who wasn't expecting it.

"We made a bet with Artemis that you wouldn't be able to be here ready for a hunt in 10 min if you were at your apartment with some friends. I will pay you back for making us lose the bet. We were really looking forward to being off chore duty for the next couple months." Thalia said as Phoebe agreed with her.

"Why don't you two go back to the hunt. Percy here is actually going to take me on a date now that we are here. Leave us alone." Artemis said as Phoebe smirked.

"My oh my. I didn't know you were so possessive of him my lady. Do you really think we would intrude on you alone time with your boy toy. Phoebe said as Artemis flushed gold in embarrassment.

"Leave. Now." Artemis said firmly as Phoebe and Thalia left the area while laughing their asses off. Artemis turned to Percy, "Now you and I are going on a hunt now. You can go back to your friends after it." Percy nodded and followed Artemis in search of something to hunt.

It was near midnight when a very relaxed and happy Percy appeared back in his room. He was really surprised when Phil and Logan were still there and awake. When his two friends realized he was back, they both hugged him tightly. "We for sure thought you were a goner man." Phil said when they both let go of Percy. "Once we figured out the letter was from the maiden goddess Artemis we were scared for you. I have no idea how you got her as a girlfriend from the stories about her." He finished as Percy smiled at his friends.

"I have no idea either, but she is the best part of my life no offense to you guys." Percy said.

"None taken man. I wished I had a girlfriend as cool as yours. How did you survive anyways?" Logan asked.

"It ended up being a bet between Artemis and my cousin on how long it would take me to get ready for a fake date. Luckily, my girlfriend won and we went on a real date after. That's why I am so late. I'll have to introduce you two some time." Percy said remembering how great the end of the date was.

Phil and Logan noticed the look on his face and nodded at each other. "Well come on, we were just getting ready to start another round of Mario Kart." Logan said as Percy followed them to his bed. He smiled at how great his friends were as they started playing Mario Kart.
