Triple Threat: Chapter 1

Introduction

It was a bright and sunny day in Musutafu. The birds were chirping, the sky was bright, rays of sunlight setting a cheerful mood. The green-haired boy batted open his large eyes, as a smile crept its way onto his face. Getting up eagerly, he slipped on a t-shirt and some short pants as he scurried out of the apartment. Arriving at the Takoba Municipal beach, he happily jogged along the shoreline as he started his morning training, enjoying the relaxing waves as the soothing ocean sounds acted as nature's running soundtrack. After an hour or so, he quickly hurried back to the Midoriya household, took a nice, relaxing bath and changed into his uniform. He quickly grabbed a bite and bid his mother farewell like the good cinnamon roll he is, and began his trek to the hero school.

Midoriya hummed happily as he walked by with his clean and pristine U.A. uniform on, a jolly pep in his step. It was another day in his dream school, and though there were some troubles along the way, it was always exciting to be enrolled into the school which the Number 1 hero: All Might once studied in. What a wonderful day! I should probably check the hero news. Midoriya reached out his phone and scrolled through the media and clicked on the news. Mt. Lady's at it again, huh? Suddenly, he received a message from the group chat. More specifically, a text from the class pervert. What a beautiful day! The dwarf-sized boy had texted. If we're lucky enough, it might start raining beautiful girls! Midoriya groaned internally. "Why does he have to be such a pervert…" he muttered to himself.

As he walked by the streets of the happy neighbourhood, he felt a tingling feeling in his gut. Oh no. I never get this feeling unless…

As if on cue, a scream was heard as Midoriya whipped his head to the high-pitched sound's origin. His heart raced as he ran towards a dark alleyway. A glint caught his eye, and he turned around just to receive a metal pipe in the face. He groaned as pain pierced his nose. Blood streamed out as he grunted.

"Hey, kid! Don't interfere with our plans, or you're going to receive some… treatment," the thug said as he slowly patted the pipe with his palm. Midoriya growled. He knew he couldn't use his quirk without a license, he learned well enough from the Stain incident. Still, he couldn't just stand by watching someone suffer. A scream was heard again, and this time Midoriya decided to turn around to look at the victim first, as he thought that rushing in quirks blazing was rather reckless. He saw a young lady, clutching her purse tightly as she trembled in fear as the thug's acquaintance held a knife up to her neck. The blade glistened despite being in a dark alley. Tears were brimming out of her eyes as she let out small whimpers.

Midoriya didn't know what to do.

Meanwhile, the clock ticked.

At U.A.

Students were shuffling into their respective classrooms quickly, seeing as it was almost time for class. Midoriya' s seat remained vacant as Uraraka's eyes shone with worry. He was never late, usually arriving sooner than other students, with a bright, excited smile as another day at the prestigious school started. As the brunette looked around, she noticed that she wasn't the only one concerned. A couple of other students also had worried looks plastered on their faces. Bakugo simply scoffed, annoyed at how Midoriya was attracting attention again, but inside, he was also a bit worried for his rival. The greenette was a punctual hard-working student, and if he was late, he was willing to bet it was bad news. The bell rang, cutting through the heavy tension like a hot knife through butter as their homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shota, rolled into the classroom in his yellow cocoon-like sleeping bag. "Alright class, Let's take attendance." He said dryly in his deadpan voice.

Meanwhile…

The redhead recollected herself and formed her fighting stance. She had beautiful golden hair bundled up into a thick braid, with almond-shaped eyes and rosy pink irises, with dragon-like slitted pupils and a skull-shaped birthmark covered her left eye like a burn, except it was white. She had an orange top with a silver frame and dark caramel brown stripes. Wearing a heavy belt, her dress looked like it was scavenged from raids, with the front a bit torn strategically. She was panting from her intensive training in the woods. Readying herself, she attacked the tree again which was layered with scorch marks from the electric energy buzzing through her split sword. With her enhanced strength, she let out a yell of frustration and managed to slice the tree whole. All of a sudden, her sword started to radiate with energy, wafts of light flowing out of it, startling her. The girl frowned. That has never happened before… She quickly sheathed her blade and rushed to her witch friend, also the local magic expert.

The orangette rushed towards the small wooden cabin sitting innocently on the edge of the mountains, gazing across the whole island. Activating her powers, she ascended towards the opening swiftly, flapping her dragon wings as she soared up the hill. Dropping down onto the balcony, she ran towards the witch. The door creaked, allowing light to seep into her friend's room. There was a girl with fair blonde hair reaching all the way to her hips. They were wavy and cascaded down her back like a golden waterfall. She had large, golden eyes, with her pupil shaped like a heart. She wore a cute pink top with puffy sleeves and a small silver belt that led to her fuchsia miniskirt. Her legs were wrapped in adorable striped rouge pink stockings. The witch looked up. "Oh hey, Amora!" She chirped cheerfully. "Hey," Amora replied. "Listen there's something weird going on with my sword, and since you're more of a magical expert…" The teen warrior unsheathed her sword and showed her golden-haired friend. The witch levitated the sword towards her and carefully examined the blade. "Hm! Do you know what might have caused this? I'm not really sure about anything, this has never happened to me but…" the redhead raised her eyebrow. "But what?" The witch ushered her warrior friend to her room, and the orange-haired girl gasped. A staff leaned against the wall, shimmering in pink iridescent waves, illuminating the whole room. Thee staff had a handle covered in hearts that led to more hearts, each going into a darker shade of pink as it descended to the bottom of the handle. On top of it was a giant crystal orb with hearts floating around it. It also had the same problem. "Yea, my staff kinda has the same problem." "Hey, guys?" A new voice called out and the two turned their heads towards the door where a brunette stood. She had large blue eyes and a fluffy bun sitting on top of her head. She wore a simple blue turtleneck and blue jeans with sneakers. "Why is my bow glowing?" she asked, holding up her weapon and Amora gulped. The flowers on the bow were pulsing with light and the vines around it was surging in neon energy. The trio exchanged a glance. What was happening to their most prized possessions?

The three girls were weirded out by the fact that their weapons were glowing. They had settled the weapons into separate corners away from each other, just in case something catastrophic happens. "I don't like this," Amora stated bluntly. "Magical glowing objects usually lead to trouble." Upon saying this, she glared subtly at Alice, the blonde witch. The blondie returned the stare. "What are you looking at?!" She exclaimed. Amora let out a simple 'hmmph'.

"The last time we saw a magical glowing thing you got turned into a lizard."

The brunette sitting next to the two bickering girls snickered. "Mia! You're supposed to be on my side!" Alice whined. "Shouldn't we focus on the glowing weapons here?" Mia asked.

Amora sighed and went over to the corner to retrieve her sword. It was pulsing faintly, but as she returned to the centre the light brightened. "Huh…" she muttered quietly. "Guys, I think we should place them together." Alice looked like she was about to explode. "Are you crazy?!" She screeched, causing Mia to wince "Who knows what will happen?! As far as we know, it might destroy the whole cabin and wreck the island!" "You can always repair it," Mia peeped. Alice gave her a death glare. "She's right, you know," Amora stated. "You have magic. With a snap of your fingers or a drip of your recovery potion you can repair the forest." She grimaced at the last part as the memories of their past battle flashed in her mind. The witch had tried to destroy the earth and kill everyone in attempts to win the battle. The death of her companions resurfaced in her mind, and if it weren't for them putting their differences aside and letting go of the past, they would still be dead. Alice seemed to have caught her grimace and sighed. "Fine. But if this leads to catastrophic events I'm killing you," she said with a playful grunt. Amora simply rolled her eyes and Mia chirped out her delight.

"Okay, on three…"

"Two…"

"One…"

Alice flicked her hands as if she was conducting an orchestra and the weapons flew into the air, nearing each other. As they inched closer and closer, the light emitting from the magical relics started to brighten gradually, until it was bright enough to rival the piercing light fo the sun itself. The group looked away, shielding their eyes in attempts to protect them. The weapons started o merge together, and it let out an impossibly bright flash, temporarily blinding the girls' eyes.

Mia staggered back, confused, as she tried to regain her sight. She rubbed her eyes as she realised the light disappeared. Opening them, she found herself in a world of swirling energy, with green zaps of lighting zipping around. "Alice? Amora?" She peeped. "Mia!" A faint voice echoed through the inter-dimensional gateway. She saw a faint silhouette of a girl with wavy hair. "Alice!" She called. Her voice echoed through the swirling tunnel. But suddenly, she saw hole of light slowly growing bigger and bigger, and as a flash started to occur, she could have sworn she saw massive buildings and Japanese signs. Then it all went black.

Midoriya readied his stance and dashed forward to his attacker. If I defeat them quick enough, no one will notice and hopefully I won't get in trouble! Activating his quirk, he dashed in and nailed the thug in the gut. Compared to Bakugo and his classmates, this common street mugger was slow. Midoriya grabbed his head and bashed it against his knee, successfully knocking him out. The acquaintance's mouth gaped in awe as he watched Midoriya in action, finishing his companion in a few moments. That pause was enough for the green-haired boy to kick the knife out of his arms and restrain him. The knife few through the air in a graceful arc before sheathing into the ground in front of the knocked-out theif. Grabbing the pipe the thug dropped, he bended it and restrained the mugger. Panting, he stood still for a moment, then turned to the lady.

"Are you alright?" He asked her.

The woman was still shocked and was completely still. Midoriya gulped. Oh no, did I surprise her? Is she oka- As he was about to finish his sentence, a bright flash rippled in the sky. The woman screamed as two teenage girls fell out of the crack with yelps and grunts. A blonde girl with long wavy hair and a cute pink top was at the bottom of the heap, as a brunette with fluffy hair and a bun lay on top of her. They groaned as they rolled around. Midoriya was about to ask if they were okay when another flash blinded them. A subtle yell and a grunt was heard as a third girl fell from the sky. She had orange hair bundled into a fat side braid. "GET OFF OF ME!" The blonde shrieked, absolutely mortified. "YOU ARE CRUSHING MY CURVY HIPS!" The redhead was the first one to immediately roll off of her piled friends and groaned as she sat up. As she rubbed her eyes in confusion, Midoriya was shocked. Oh my gosh, when Mineta-kun said it would rain girls I didn't think it would actually happen!?

Amora didn't like this one bit. Not at all. The fact that she was in a pocket dimension with swirling lights was bad enough, but then falling out of the sky was just absurd. Guess I can't really complain she thought to herself. I've seen pretty weird things in my life…

As she sat up, dazed, she tried to recall what had happened. She rubbed her eyes, struggling to blink them open as she felt ridiculous fatigue take place in her body. Who knew inter-dimensional travelling through magical glowing weapons could be so energy-consuming…

"Uhm, Miss? Are you alright?" A timid but kind voice asked her. The stoic girl forced her eyes open and did a double-take. In front of her crouched a green-haired boy with big, innocent eyes and adorable freckles. Oh my god, he looks like a baby drag- WAIT A MINUTE! Amora looked around and saw Alice and Mia lying on top of each other. She then shifted her gaze to the boy in front of her. Now that her mind cleared a bit, she realised that he was ridiculously close to her. While most girls would blush and slap the poor boy for not understanding what personal space is, she had learned to remain expressionless and not be a whiny brat. But she couldn't help but widen her eyes when she realised who the boy was. Green hair… big eyes.. freckles… cuteness that can be weaponised… was she looking at Izuku Midoriya from the My Hero academia realm?

Amora and Midoriya stared at each other for a good minute, before both of them decided that the tension was unbearable. "Uhm, would you mind… stepping back a little?" Amora stated, breaking the awkward silence. A groan came from Alice and Mia every now and then. Midoriya's face seemed to have gone from normal to red as he immediately backed up, stuttering apologies. Amora snickered internally.

Midoriya regained his composure and decided to ask the question that was bugging him so much. "So if you don't mind me asking, why were you three falling out of the sky?"

By the time the boy said that, Alice and Mia had already regained their senses. The question caught them off guard. Alice blinked. Then blinked again. She quickly did a scan of her surroundings. "Are we in Japan?" she asked quietly to the brunette beside her. Mia shrugged, then cleared her throat. "No wonder I'm so sore… we dropped out of the sky…" "Yeah, we don't really know what happened," Amora replied. Midoriya remained still then slowly decided to accept this twist. "Okay… what are your names?" He chirped, regaining his cheerful demeanour. Alice just stared at him. Who on earth is able to recover from three girls falling from the sky that fast? Amora opened her mouth to reply, but then she hesitated. Using an English name would be suspicious, so she blurted out the first Japanese name she could think of. "Hizashi. Akarui Hizashi," was what she replied with. Midoriya seemed to deem it good enough, and turned to the other girls. Amora was about to sigh in relief before she started to panic. OH SHOOT! She looked at them and desperately tried to make them understand that they needed to choose a Japanese name. But unfortunately, to Mia and Alice, she just looked like she was waving her hands like an idiot.

Midoriya turned to them. "What are your names?" "Uhhhh, Mi-" Suddenly a voice exploded into her head. NO ENGLISH NAMES! MAKE A JAPANESE ONE! It screamed. Mia gulped, she thought hard as the clock ticked by, Midoriya slowly getting suspicious. Amora's face remained calm, but her eyes were darting around nervously and she looked like she was screaming. "S-Sasaki M-Miade!" she stuttered. "Y-Yeah! That's… my name!" she quicky recovered, and gave a cheesy smile. Midoriya internally groaned. I need to take them to U.A. for interrogation… Tsukauchi-kun might be able to help me... "Nice to meet you, Sasaki-kun." He said with a smile. "I'm Hato Arisu!" Alice said confidently with a grin. "Huh, Arisu. That sounds a lot like Alice." Midoriya commented. Alice sweatdropped. "Well, I'm not one to judge," he chirped. His face lit up. "Oh right! What are your quirks?"

Amora gulped. SHOOT! I DON'T KNOW WHAT MY 'QUIRK' IS! "Uhm, my quirk is…" she tried to feel her powers, searching deep and wide through her soul, hoping to contact something familiar. Just then, she grasped something close to her. Her eyes lit up. "My quirk is Dragon!" She said, delighted to have her quirk as her power back home. Her friends, however, weren't so lucky. "My quirk is… Heart?" What the hell is that? "My quirk is Evergreen!" Mia said happily. At least I still have my flower power… even though I'm weak at it… Midoriya simply nodded. Suddenly his eyes widened as a patch of blood began to form in his abdomen. He let a groan of pain and his eyes glazed over as his body thumped lifelessly against the pavement. Amora screamed mentally. "Midoriya!"

A shadow crept up from behind the boy's body. "Now what do we have here?"

So, how do you like it so far? pls review in the comments, thank you. I know that the quirks are confusing, since they're not my hero academia ocs. they're original characters me and my friends made, and i thought it would be fun. i apologise, i don't know how to make those gray dividers, since i just started using. Thank you for understanding, and have a great night/ day!
