Triple Threat
Chapter 3: the Mall
"Start."
Bakugo roared, and charged forward, his hands filled with mini explosions as he heated himself up.
Akarui gave him a small, knowing smile, and disappeared.
Bakugo screeched to a halt. "Huh?!"
He looked around, searching for the girl angrily. "Don't play with me, extra!"
He wandered cautiously, his hands popping with the explosions. The class watched in confusion.
"You're right where I want you," a voice said behind him. The spectating class gasped. Akarui reappeared right behind him. Before he had the chance to turn around a deafening roar rang out and a sound wave crashed into him, effectively knocking him over. Bakugo grunted, before shaking his head, dazed. "Still an extra? Well this extra is going to beat you," Akarui hissed, before transforming into a Speedstinger and approaches the red-eyed teen. Bakugo looked at the dragon, confused. Where did that extra go?!
The dragon gave a feral roar before changing forward. Bakugo's mind was hazy and he couldn't think straight; the soundwave had disoriented him. He felt a small, sharp pain on his side, and then… he couldn't move. He was paralysed! He stared in disbelief as the green dragon morphed back into his sparring partner, and screamed in anger internally as he was tossed out of the ring like a basketball.
The class stared at the girl who beat one of the class's best students effortlessly. Mineta gulped fearfully. Arisu cheered. Miade was in awe. "Way to kick Explodey's butt! Too bad I wasn't the one to do it though." Bakugo let out angered screams while trying to move his mouth. Midoriya stared at his notes, confused. Didn't Hizashi-kun say that her quirk was dragon? When did she have an invisible and paralysis quirk?
"Okay, next spar: Sasaki versus Yaoyorozu," Aizawa said as he pulled out two pieces of paper. Miade gulped. Her respect for Yaoyorozu was immense, but when she needed to fight the intelligent girl she simply couldn't use use her quirk as swiftly as the black-haired girl. Miade gulped as she stepped on the podium. Yaoyorozu had a determined look on her face.
"And start."
Miade took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Suddenly, vines burst out of the cement ground and grew spikes, then wrapped itself around Yaoyorozu tightly, jabbing the girl with the prickly thorns. The vines wrapped around the girl tightly, giving her no space to create any weapons. Miade breathed a sigh of relief, thinking she won. But then she immediately gulped as her vines burned, allowing her competitor to rise from the ashes, quite literally. "Good thing I made a flamethrower quickly," Yaoyorozu retorted. She charged towards the brunette, making a sword as Miade punched upwards into the air, making a thick wall of vines covered in poison ivy rise up from the ground. Yaoyorozu yelped and sliced through the vines as quickly as possible, but the poison ivy had done its work and Yaoyorozu's smooth skin started to contort into red patches of bumpy rashes. "Ow!" The ponytailed girl grumbled as she created some cooling sleeves for a split second and slipped them on. Then she whipped out a machine gun of all things, loaded it with sleeping darts and fired them at Miade. Miade screamed in fear as the girl whipped out the giant weapon and clumsily waved her hands around, trying to making a shield. But in her panic she forgot the structure of the vines and instead grew a sapling out of her hands. Loud bangs were heard as Miade's body was showered by darts. "Oh, screw me with Titan arum," Miade cried as she started to feel woozy and collapsed with a "Swaddled Babies!" and a groan. The whole class was a bit startled and unnerved at her last two words. Arisu laughed but got a light slap on the back by a concerned Akarui. "That oughta hurt," the redhead muttered as Yaoyorozu apologised profusely to the woozy girl who was stumbling out of the ring. "Yaoyorozu wins," muttered Aizawa. So that's her quirk, huh? With enough training she would be unbeatable. She has no limitations unlike Yaoyorozu, and I can tell she is smart. "Sasaki, please meet me outside after the lesson," Aizawa said loudly. "Weeeee," Miade replied dizzily, earning a few laughs from the class and a facepalm from Akarui. Oh right, she's still in Kaminari-mode Aizawa thought. Such problem children.
"Okay so next up is…" Aizawa reached into the boxes. "Midoriya vs… Hato,"
Arisu gulped. Shoot! I still don't know how to use my quirk yet! Is it like heart manipulation? Can I manipulate it like before? "Arisu, don't worry if he kicks your butt. It's normal," Akarui said cheekily. The blonde groaned.
"And start."
"AKARUIIIII!" Arisu screamed as she leapt onto the redhead and hit her continuously on the head. Akarui grumbled her annoyance. "Akarui heal me now!" Arisu shrieked. "Go to Recovery Girl," Miade sweatdropped. "NEVER! I REFUSE TO BE KISSED BY SOME OLD LADY!" Arisu yelled. She bonked Akarui again and the redhead groaned, flipped Arisu over and slammed her to the ground. Arisu yelped. "Stop annoying me if you want to be healed," Akarui hissed. Arisu pouted. Miade questions her sexuality (hahaha joke's on you, Amie. I still remember the wink). "Here," Akarui mumbled, and pink flames enveloped Arisu. She visibly relaxed and sighed as her injuries sealed up. "Yay! I'm reverted back to my beautiful self," she cheered smugly. Akarui facepalmed.
Midoriya sighed as he walked out of the changing room wearing his uniform again, exhausted. "What a strange day," he muttered and trudged back to his classroom. "Hey! Deku-kun!" A bubbly voice yelled from behind. Midoriya's head swerved towards the sound and a smile etched itself on his face. "Uraraka-san! Nice to see you," he said happily. "Classes have ended already, do you wanna hang out?" "U-uh, sure!" The green-haired boy stammered. A girl wants to hang out with me! And she's the one who asked! Oh boy, was he in heaven at U.A. "Oh! Maybe we should have an outing with the whole class! There are three new students, after all. Maybe this can be a little get-to-know-each-other trip!" Uraraka cheered. Midoriya nodded his head like a cute li'l puppy.
"Wait, what?"

"Hey! Hizashi!" Akarui turned towards the voice who called her temporary name. "Oh, Kirishima," she greeted. "Wow, you know my name? That's so manly!" The red-haired boy was surprised. The new girl was only here for a day and she already knew their names! Little did he know she watched the anime so she knew the plot and stuff. But let's not break the fourth wall, yea? "It's easy to remember," Akarui said truthfully. "Anyways, what do you want?" "Oh right!" Kirishima said. "The whole class is going to an outing to the mall, since the training camp is almost up." "Wait, the training camp?" Akarui raised an eyebrow. "Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll go. I didn't take the test and all." Hearing this, the boy burst out laughing much to Akarui's surprise. "Oh man! I have no idea how you knew about the exam so quickly, or the training camp for that matter, but no worries! The exam is next week!" Akarui internally sighed in relief. So I still have a chance of going to the camp! "Well then, I guess I'll go. I'll be sure to notify Arisu and Miade," Akarui replied. "Thank you, Hizashi! I'll see you at the mall this weekend!" Kirishima said as he began to run to the opposite direction. "Guys! They're coming!" Akarui heard him yell and couldn't help but smile. She reached for her phone and tapped on the group chat that consisted of she and her friends.

"Hello, I am detective Tsukauchi. Nezu has already informed me of your situation and I will just be asking a few questions," Tsukauchi said to the three girls. "Okay," Akarui replied. "What are your names?" "My real name or my temporary name?" "Hizashi Akarui isn't your real name?" "No, I just made it up to blend it." True "my real name is Amora, but I think you should refer to me using my 'fake' name for now." True. "How old are you?" "I'm sixteen," Akarui replied. Lie. "Okay, that was a lie, what's your real age?" Akarui smirked. "It's, uh, complicated. You won't believe me anyway." True. Why the heck was that true?! "Uh, you're human, right?" "Kinda," Akarui replied with a cheeky smile. Tsukauchi facepalmed.
The rest of the interrogations didn't improve. "Either my quirk is getting quirky or I'm going insane," he muttered. The Arisu girl had said the same thing, except she admitted she was part witch and part demon. His quirk friggin replied with a flipping true. Miade said she was the same with Arisu, but after all three interrogations he still didn't know their true age. They were really a troublesome trio.
"Alright, I would like you three to look at the doctor's eyes," Tsukauchi said. The three obeyed reluctantly. "What are we doing here?" Miade asked. Tsukauchi sighed. "We're erasing your knowledge on the upcoming events." "What?! But if we keep them we can help prevent villain attacks, a-and take down the bad guys more efficiently because we know their fighting style and all!" Arisu yelped. "You'd also know all the heroes' weaknesses, and if that information falls into our enemy's hands the situation would be grave. I'm sorry but we have to erase that knowledge." "Wait, Tsukauchi," Akarui said, and glared straight into the detective's eyes. He felt a chill being sent down his spine and he tensed up. There was so much intensity in that glare. And as impossible as it was, Akarui's sclera turned yellow and her iris merged into her pupils, which narrowed into black slits. "You will not erase our memories," she hissed. Tsukauchi wanted to look away but he found himself trapped when staring into those horrifying eyes. "I… will not… erase your memories…" Akarui grinned and reverted back to normal. The doctor was confused. "We will not erase their memories," Tsukauchi said normally. "They can keep it. We can use it to our advantage." Akarui grinned and then stared into both of their eyes, her eyes transforming again. "Both of your will forget about this," she said, and blinked, returning to normal. "Wait, why am I here?" Tsukauchi said, confused. He looked at the doctor.
"Who are you?!"
"This is confirmed, Akarui is overpowered."
"Hey!"
"Nani?"

"Wow! A Japanese mall!" Arisu exclaimed as she looked around in wonder. "Have you never been to a mall before?" Ojiro asked, raising an eyebrow. "We've never been in Japan before, this is our first time here!" Miade said, equally amazed. "So big!" "If you've never been here why did you decide to transfer to U.A.?" Sero questioned, suspicious. "We heard it's a good hero school and we aim to help people so we decided to transfer here. Nezu recommended us anyway," Akarui replied. Ehhh, it was half true. She continued to sip her smoothie indifferently and followed the rest of the group. "Man, she's like Todoroki isn't she?" Mina whispered to Hagakure. "Come to think of it, yeah!" The invisible girl replied. "She also has a mark on her left eye, how coincidental." Akarui heard them and grumbled.
"Okay! We will be divided into 7 groups of three and one group of two!" Iida commanded. Akarui, Arisu and Mia ended up together, much to their delight, and Midoriya and Uraraka were in the two-person group. "I SHIP IT!" yelled Arisu and Mia. Midoriya and Uraraka blushed profusely and glared daggers at them. Akarui facepalmed and threw her empty smoothie cup away nonchalantly.
"Maybe we should go as a group," Akarui said worriedly. Miade nodded vigorously like a cute little puppy while Arisu just made an UwU face. "I shall give those two some love guidance. I'm the Sage of Love, after all," she said gleefully. Midoriya groaned and if looks could kill, Arisu would've been murdered by Uraraka's burning glare. She stuck out her tongue at the brunette. Uraraka was itching to use her GUNHEADO MARTIAL ARTSU skills on the blonde. "Uh, okay guys, let's just go and have fun!" Miade piped in, trying her best to cheer them up. "Depends, is there an indoor archery range or weapon store?" Akarui asked, oblivious to the fact that it was extremely not normal for a teenager to say that. Midoriya stared at her dumbfounded. "A what now?" "You know, a weapon store? For swords and bows and claymores or if we're lucky enough, charged crossbows," Akarui said with a mild grin. "A blacksmith is good too." Midoriya and Uraraka continued to stare. "Why on earth would you need those?" The greener the asked incredulously. "They're a girl's everyday items," Akarui deadpanned, as if it was obvious. "Yea, ignore her, she's weird," Arisu said. "What we really need is a potion brew. I can do a lot of experiments on you guys…" her face contorted into a dark smile. Miade, Midoriya and Uraraka gulped and Akarui's face remained the same. "I don't think they have it here," she replied. Uraraka sweatdropped. Just where on earth did they come from? "Y'know what, I'll just go to the place that's the most similar to an arena," Akarui suggested. "We can always do that after we buy the necessities for the training camp," Midoirya suggested. "Oh, right!" Akarui quickly scanned her list. "Oh, I can just make these. Some of them are unnecessary, since my quirk covers them. I also have substitutes in my bag," Akarui replied, gesturing to her old leather backpack which looked like it had endured World War II. Midoriya gulped. "Your backpack looks… special," he managed to say. Surprisingly, Akarui beamed. "Yes, it has a surprisingly large amount of capacity," she replied. "For example…" she reached in and pulled out a stack of ice. Everyone sweatdropped. Midoriya began to question everything he knew.

"We finally got all of the necessities!" Uraraka cheered with glee. "And we still have some time left," Midoriya added with a grin. "Where do you guys want to go? Somewhere that exists in this mall, please," he quickly added, and two girls of the trio slumped. "Maybe we can try some of the cafes," Miade suggested. "I heard they have some strawberry matcha cake! I love matcha." "I can use some refreshments," Akarui admitted. "Oh heck yeah! I've always wanted to try some Japanese Mochi. They're just way different from the ones from other countries." Arisu replied. "To the café we go!" Uraraka cheered, and she skipped towards the small cat-themed café.
After they ordered their food, the group happily chatted as they settled down in a cosy couch and interacting with the kittens. Two Calicoes nuzzled themselves in the crook of Arisu's arms, making her unable to eat. She cursed under her breath but was also squealing in delight. "Aww, they're so adorable!" Miade cooed. A cute, fluffy munchkin cat pounced onto their table and meowed at Uraraka. "Aww!" The bubbly brunette reached out to cuddle the kitten, with Midoriya patting on it occasionally with a huge grin on their face. A small kitten attracted Miade's attention, and it purred when she carried it to the table. Akarui was the only one with no reactions whatsoever. "Hizashi-kun, don't you want to pet a cat too?" Midoriya asked. "I'm more of a dragon person," Akarui muttered, much to Midoriya's surprise. "Eh?! Dragons?!" "Midoriya-san, my quirk is based on dragons." "They're real?!" Akarui stared at him dumbfounded. "Yes."
"Everything I know is wrong," Midoriya muttered, stunned.
"Midoriya-san, the hero Ryukuu has a dragon transformation quirk."
"That's different!"
"I beg to differ."

Midoirya was pouting as Akarui glared indifferently. "Instead of cats, who wants to pet dragons?" Miade suggested, and Midoirya immediately perked up. "But where can we find one in the mall?"
Miade and Arisu stared at him dumbfounded. Akarui's eyes widened when she realised what they were saying.
"No."
"PLEASE AKARUIIII!"
"I SAID NO."
"PLEEAAASSEEEE!"
"MIDORIYA QUICK! SMILE AT HER!"
"Eh?!"
"Do it!"
"Oh my god that's adorable. But still no."
"Ehhh?!"
"See? I told you everyone thinks you're adorable!" Uraraka announced cheekily. Then she paused, realising what she just said. "There she is! Tomato Ochako!" Arisu said snarkily.
XxX
"Mmm! That cake is awesome!" Miade commented. "The cats were better than the cakes," Arisu replied.
"You ate the cats?!"
"What the heck? No!"
"I'm bored," Akarui yawned. "Why is still some time left? We did so much already!" "You sound like you're running out of things today," Midoriya added. "Well tell the author to give me things to say!" Stop breaking the fourth wall! "Sorry!"
"So what will we do with the remaining time?" Midoriya asked cheerily. "Well, we ca-" Suddenly, Arisu was sent flying, hitting the wall with a sickening smack. "Arisu!" Miade screamed. "I think we can use our quirks! This is self defence!" Akarui yelled. "Everyone evacuate the area!" She dashed towards Arisu and swiftly transformed into a Prickleboggle, taking flight an using her healing flames at max capacity. Arisu's broken bones mended back together. "Thanks," she groaned. "I miss having magic…" The group quickly assembled together, facing the new threat.
"Let's go."
