Sonic and Goku stared down each, analyzing their similar golden forms. "Well, looks like we are even now Goku." Super Sonic said with great confidence with a tad bit of cockyness in his voice. "Yes we are Sonic. LET'S DO THIS!" Goku yelled as he flew towards Sonic as he did the same before the two produced a massive shockwave from their clash then immediately traded a flurry of punches and kicks while from the distance Piccolo and Gohan watched in horror at Sonic's combat abilities. "How surprising. Sonic's even better than I expected." Piccolo said as he reflected on the past.
Not many people can keep up with Goku in battle but very few have overpowered him. Piccolo's father King Piccolo defeated Goku in their first meeting and Vegeta got the jump on Goku by transforming into his great ape form, but was defeated due to the help of Gohan and Krillin. Gohan meanwhile was watching in bewilderment due to his father and Sonic's power being somewhat close.
Goku got a clean hit to Sonic's face then sent him flying towards the ground but Sonic evened himself then flashed a grin before small orbs of light surrounded him before being absorbed into Sonic "Let's see how he like my light speed attack" he thought be he flew towards Goku. Goku then was at the mercy of Sonic's assault which he is barely can counter before Sonic uppercuts Goku then grabbed his leg and threw him right onto a rock formation.
"Man, that was brutal, I got be careful in case he does that again."Goku said making a mental note right as he noticed Sonic put his arm out then heard "SUPER SONIC WIND!" as Sonic chucked a ball of energy that turn into a wave of energy at Goku, he was able to dodge at the last minute as he noticed it cut the rock. "Chaos Control" Sonic yelled as he teleported in front of Goku then "BAM!" Goku went flying skyward then shot a ki blast at Sonic as Sonic curled up into a ball and reved up then shot an energy blast of his own causing a explosion.
Sonic curled up again and used one of his famous moves, the spin dash and took off towards Goku and in an instant, Sonic uncurled and ran off using the rock he destroyed as a ramp and flew towards Goku who took a defensive position as Sonic flew at Goku at his top speed and yelled "SUPERSONIC PUNCH!" Sonic's punch was able to break Goku's guard and had him flying backwards at high speeds then Sonic grabbed Goku and whaled on him getting multiple fast paced jabs.
Goku saw an opening as he blocked Sonic's kick and punched him in the gut "Ahhhh" Sonic yelled in pain as he held his chest as Goku made space between the two "This was fun Sonic, but it's time to end this." Goku said as he began charging his ultimate technique the kamehameha. "Ka...me..." "I'm nothing going down that easy Goku." Sonic said as he charged an beam of his own in retaliation. "Ha...me..." "TAKE THIS GOKU!" Sonic yelled. "HAAAAAA!" Goku yelled as his and Sonic's beams struggled to overcome each.
Gohan and Piccolo arrived to Goku and Sonic after their fight started taking them elsewhere and were terrified at the massive beam struggle. "That power. It's unreal." Gohan said in shock as Piccolo took him behind cover. Goku and Sonic's beam struggle starting to tip slowly in Goku's favor as Sonic put all his power into his attack as Goku though about doing something risky as he remembered his battle with Vegeta. "That's it."Goku said to himself as he prepared himself as he yelled "KAIOKEN! Sonic braced himself as he saw Goku's kamehameha overtake his beam. "Ahhha" Sonic yelled as he fell onto the ground in pain and defeat as Goku landed in front of him and gave his new friend a hand.
"Dad!" "Goku!" Gohan and Piccolo yelled as they ran to Goku as he helped up Sonic. "Hey guys." Goku said with his Goku grin. "You ok dad? Gohan asked concerned for his father's safety. "I'll be fine Gohan." Goku said as he took out two beans from his pocket and gave one to Sonic. Sonic looked confused and asked "What's this Goku?" "It's a senzu bean. It can restore you to full power."Goku said as Sonic grabbed the bean and ate it. Sonic was shocked having his full power back so fast. "Told ya. Anyway Gohan we should head home, almost dinner." Goku said to his son whose stomach rumbled. "Yeah. Mom's going to be worried." Gohan said as Goku said "Mind coming with us Sonic?" Sonic couldn't turn down food even if he was payed too. "Sure, I'd like too." Sonic said as the three went off together. "See you tomorrow Piccolo."Goku said as Piccolo nodded as he walked off on his own.
