The next day Sonic started his training with Goku and Gohan as he waited for them to get right for 3 minutes as Chi-Chi waved her husband and son bye as they flew off. "Hey Goku I got a question, why aren't the rest of your friends training with you, wouldn't training all together be more effective " Goku was surprised when Sonic asked that question. "I don't honestly know why we didn't do that before." Gohan joined in by saying "Yeah, nothing's stopping us like before." "You're right Gohan. We should round up the others." Piccolo said which surprised the trio. "Woah, you scared us Piccolo." Goku said chuckling. "I got Kami to tell the others to meet up at the lookout." "What about Vegeta?" Goku asked which got Sonic confused. "Didn't budge." Piccolo responded. "Who's Kami and Vegeta?" Sonic asked. "Kami is the guardian of the earth and Vegeta is another saiyan." Piccolo responded which put Sonic at ease. "Let's go, good luck keeping up on foot Sonic." Goku yelled as Sonic grinned. "Oh it is on." Sonic said as he ran after Goku.
Meanwhile on the Lookout Goku's friends, the Z-fighters, Krillin, Tien and Yamacha were waiting for Goku to arrive. "I still can't believe that we thought training alone would be effective in the slightest." Tien said as he, Krillin and Yamcha in facepalmed in embarrassment. "So Kami, there's someone who could kept up with Goku. That's impressive." Krillin said to break the awkwardness as he turned to the guardian of earth. "Yes Krillin there is, and thankfully he is a good hearted individual." Kami said. "That definitely is no small task." Yamaha said as Tien rolled his eyes given who just said that. "You say that like your ahead of him yourself." Tien whispered then started laughing "Imagine if Vegeta found out about this." "He'd be like I am the only person who can rival Kakarot." Krillin responded in a pretty good Vegeta impression. "That's a really good Vegeta impression there Krillin." Goku said which made his friends jump in surprise. "Jesus Goku, we gotta get you a bell." Krillin said as he embraced his best friend. "Nothing like being with your best friend." Sonic said as Krillin, Yamcha and Tien looked at him in confusion and shock. "Your the one of kept up with Goku?" The three said in unison. "Yep, Sonic's the name, speeds my game." Sonic said with a confident, cocky grin which Yamcha responded being equally as cocky. "Really?Then prove it 'blue blur'." Yamcha said but saw the hedgehog move faster than they could, then he suddenly fell onto the ground with Sonic behind him. "Ok, I'm convinced." Yamcha said as Sonic gave him a hand.
"So Sonic, what's your deal?" Krillin asked as Tien followed up with Krillin. "Yeah, something tells me your not from here." "Yeah, he's not. Long story short, Sonic's from an alternate universe and he travelled to our world by accident then we met him and Sonic and I spared." Goku explained to his allies and friends. "That's no the craziest thing we've ever heard." Krillin said. "Enough chat, let's get to work." Tien said to get everyone on track.
As the fighters discussed training Sonic pulled Goku to the side so he could ask him something. "What's up Sonic?" Goku asked. "Would you mind if I could train Gohan?" Sonic said in response to Goku's question. "Gohan? Sure, why though?" "I figured it would be really beneficial to train with a speedster." "Oh so Gohan can counter fast attacks. Sonic that's genius." Goku said with a surprised smile. "Also try to teach him to dodge, me and Piccolo haven't been successful at that." "I'll try my best Goku." Sonic said as Goku yelled for Gohan. "Gohan, You'll be training with Sonic today son." Goku said to his son which Gohan was interested. "Really? Ok Dad." "Good luck son." Goku said as he went back to the group.
"Alright kid you really?" Sonic asked Gohan. "Yes I am Mr Sonic." Sonic chuckled about how fromal this kid is "Just call me Sonic kid." Sonic said which reminded of Cream The Rabbit from his world. "What are we starting with Sonic?" "Light sparing kid, I need to see what you got. So surprise me kid." "You got Sonic." Gohan said as he charged at the hedgehog which Sonic dodged almost effectively. "Haaha." Gohan yelled as he threw multiple jabs at Sonic which he either blocked or dodged. "Come on kid, you can do better than that." Sonic yelled at Gohan in an attempt to fire him up. "I fought a trash can with spikes that hit me more than you kid." "Ahhhhhha." Gohan yelled as he decked Sonic right in the face sending him back as Gohan got in multiple punches relentlessly. "CAN A TRASH CAN DO THIS?" Gohan yelled at the top of his lungs. 'Ok, definitely touched a nerve.'
Sonic thought to himself as he was impressed with Gohan's intense power boost, Sonic could only imagine how powerful the boy would be as a super saiyan. 'I gotta end this now.' Sonic thought as he faked out Gohan then started running around the kid in an attempt to tire him out. Gohan looked all around him trying to hit Sonic with a ki blast, to no affect due to Sonic tiring him down. "Haaah, Masenko!" Gohan yelled as a final attempt to hit Sonic which worked before Gohan passed out. "Oh no, Gohan!" Goku yelled as he ran towards his son. "Will he be fine?" "He'll be fine Goku, I just ran around him to tried him down." Sonic said as he walked over to the unconscious boy."Damn kid's got lots of potential." "Yeah we know, I would have trained him earlier but Chi-Chi wants him to be a scholar when he grows up." Goku said which made Sonic frown, something that didn't go unnoticed by Goku. "Uh you ok Sonic?" "I'm fine Goku." Sonic said hoping for Goku to drop it. "You should take Gohan home, Chi-Chi would be furious if Gohan got hurt training." "Yeah, I'll take him. I need some time for myself, I'll see you guys later." Sonic stated as he picked up Gohan and ran off. "Something's up with him Goku." "What do you mean Krillin?" "Sonic's sudden melancholyness, something must have made him upset." Krillin explained to Goku. "Oh that, I didn't want to intrude."
