Sonic was left alone with his thoughts as he ran towards Goku's home carrying Gohan, thinking about what Goku said back on the lookout. 'Chi-Chi wants him to be a scholar when he grows up.' Sonic couldn't help but hear that over and over again in his head, but Sonic started being concerned about what to say to Chi-Chi about Gohan as he approached Goku's house.
"Knock,Knock." "Doors open." Chi-Chi said as Sonic gulped as he opened the door. "Oh Sonic your back.. OH MY GOD!" Chi-Chi screamed as she saw Gohan on Sonic's shoulder. 'Oh crap Goku was right, she does have a temper.' Sonic thought as Chi-Chi freaked out. "WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BABY BOY?!" "He's fine, just tuckered out after training." Sonic said fearfully hoping Chi-Chi would calm down, which she did to his relief as Sonic put the boy down on the couch as Sonic sat down beside him. "Sonic, I'm sorry I snapped earlier." "Relax I understand, you were worried about Gohan's wellbeing. Besides it's not the first time I've met a girl with a temper." Sonic told Chi-Chi which got her intrigued about Sonic's world.
"So Sonic, you mind telling me about yourself?" Chi-Chi asked, wanting to know more about the fastest thing alive. "Yeah I might as well, got nothing better to do tonight." Sonic told Chi-Chi about his home and how beautiful it was, about how he spent his entire life fighting Dr. Eggman from turning it into his robotic dystopia and all his friends and how much he cares about their wellbeing. "You miss your world do you?" "Yeah I do. I mean even I visted an alternative universe before, but this is the first time I ever visited a new universe.

"Oh yes, Gohan's going to be a nice young man I just know it." "But why did you give up martai arts?" "I stopped after I had Gohan and there wasn't a reason for me to fight. Sonic smiled at Chi-Chi's dedication for her son's future. "Gohan's lucky, having parents who want the best for him." Sonic said sadly which Chi-Chi was confused about his sudden mood change. "Your parents weren't supportive of you?" Chi-Chi asked which got Sonic mad. "No that's not it, it's..."
"What?" Chi-Chi asked which Sonic sighed about want he was going to say. "I don't remember my parents all that much, they left me with my uncle Chuck when I was really young." "Why did they leave you with your uncle?" "From what I remember Uncle Chuck told me that my parents left for an assignment, they were involved in a war that started before I was born." Sonic told Chi-Chi while he tried his best not to cry. "Your parents were war heroes?" "Yeah anyways, I vaguely remember my mom telling me she and my dad would come back for me. They never came back so we figured my parents died." "Oh my Kami Sonic, I'm so sorry. I know how you feel, my mother died when I was born."

Goku asked his wife as he checked on Gohan. "Well Sonic and I talked about his world mostly." Really? Neat, I actually meant to asked Sonic about his home." Goku said right as he noticed Sonic's sad expression. "Sonic, what got into you back on the lookout? You looked really upset." "What you said about Chi-Chi and Gohan reminded me that I never got to have that." "Sonic what are you talking about?" "Sonic doesn't remember his parents. They left him with his uncle because of a assignment and never returned." Chi-Chi explained to Goku which upset him. "Wow Sonic I'm sorry, If it makes you feel better I don't really remember my parents either." "Thanks you two, but the weird thing is I can't shake the feeling my parents are still alive somewhere, and I am willing to bet Egghead knows something about them. I swear to chaos I will find out." Sonic said in an angred tone while clenching his fist.
"Sonic I'm sure you'll find out the truth about your parents, heck I could help you if you want." "I appreciate it Goku but I don't want to drag you into my personal problems. We should focus on training in the meantime." Sonic said to Goku as he tried his hardest not to cry about his past. "Got it, we'll get to work tomorrow morning, let's rest."
