Welcome to the next chapter of A New Frontier! Now we'll get into some spicy stuff, not lemon. What will prevail Moonco or Starco? Let me know how I did. Now on with the story!

Mewni Prime

Moon groaned as she woke up from her heavy sleep. She could feel her head pounding, and she had a terrible headache. Moon felt like she hadn't slept for several days. 'Uh why do I feel terrible?' Moon thought. She could barely remember anything from the previous night. All she could remember was going out to get cornshakes with Marco, Star, and Tom. Moon remembered how she poured all the sugar in a dispenser into her cornshake and then her memory was jumbled up. Had the sugar been poisoned? That could possibly be the reason for her ill state. Moon remembered a mob shouting something, and her eating candy from a store. She tried the get up, but she felt something on her body. Moon looked to see Marco sleeping on top of her. 'Was he just really sleepy' Moon pondered. Moon moved Marco off of her so she could get up. Moon felt terrible so she wanted some coffee to wake her up. Moon shook Marco to wake him up. "Good morning handsome."

Marco stumbled around and almost fell of the bed. Marco looked to see Moon already up. Marco let out a yawn and asked, "Morning Moon. How are you doing?"

"To be honest I feel awful. I feel like my head is about to shut down. Do you know where I can find some coffee?"

"The coffee will be at the kitchen. And your condition might of been from your little incident", Marco said winking.

"What incident?"

Marco got out of bed to get his shoes. Marco then went to open the door and said, "You wanted some coffee milady."

Moon rolled her eyes, " Very funny Marco."

As the two were walking down the hallway, Marco gave a brief description of last night's incident. How Moon got drunk on sugar as the sugar was super concentrated. Marco laughed at Moon's expression at the price of Moon. Moon pouted and that caused Marco to laugh even more. When he was done laughing, he then told Moon about the sugar rampage that resulted in a mob trying to stop her. The mob was of course unsuccessful, and he told Moon she casted a spell that he didn't know. Moon was at this point so embarrassed that she wanted to jump out of the window to hide her face. Moon was prevented from doing so by Marco hugging her. Marco said softly, " It's ok Moon." Moon began to calm down, and she gave out a silent nod to thank Marco. Moon embraced him for a minute before letting go to continue to get coffee.

As they were walking, the two could hear people complaining how all the sugar had mysteriously disappeared. One moment the sugary food was in their hands and in the next moment gone. Marco glanced at Moon and realized what her mystery spell did. Marco felt bad at how all the sugar now had to be reordered because of yesterday's incident. Moon was currently too tired to pay attention to the conversations and walked on. When they reached the kitchen, the chefs looked at Moon and said, " Queen Moon or wait young Moon?" The chefs had heard about what happened to the poor servant yesterday, and they wanted to be careful with Moon.

"Just Moon", Moon yawned.

"She wants some coffee", Marco told the chefs.

"Right away! By the way there's no sugar currently so the coffee will be bitter," one of the chefs replied.

When Moon grabbed the first mug of coffee, she drank it in less than ten seconds. Moon could feel a little better, but she could still felt tired. One of the chefs tried to approach Moon and ask her how she was doing, but one glare from Moon told the chef 'don't piss me off'. "More coffee please", Moon told the chefs. Another mug of coffee was produced and another mug was chugged down by Moon. Moon then asked for more coffee, and more coffee she got. Moon was drinking so much coffee that it boggled the chefs. Then one of the chefs pointed to a barrel of hot coffee and Moon drank all of it in record time. It took six barrels of coffee to cure Moon's sugar hangover. Moon stretched her hand happily and let out a burp. "Thanks for the coffee", Moon told the chefs before walking to a waiting Marco by the exit.

"I'm surprised you're still alive from the insane amounts of sugar you consumed yesterday", Marco commented.

"See I'm tough!", Moon laughed to Marco's annoyance.

"Let's go get some breakfast Moon."

Meanwhile in another part of the castle Queen Moon was having a very bad morning. First there was the report of a lunatic eating any sugar the lunatic could find. Then in the morning she had reports from various people that all the sugar in the kingdom disappeared suddenly. Queen Moon groaned as the sugar costed quite a lot of money and would cost a fortune to replace. Even worse Star's ball was supposed to be held today and without any sugar, the ball has to be suspended. She didn't want to suspend the ball as the other Butterflies and royalty wanted this ball for at least a month. Queen Moon knew she had to somehow transport enough sugar to replace the vanished sugar or else the ball had to be canceled and that's something she didn't want to do. Queen Moon contacted all of the sugar companies she could find and said, " Whoever fills my quota first will get a 25% bonus." The sugar companies immediately got to work to deliver the sugar faster than their rivals. Moon could only hope the sugar could get to the castle by midday as it took time to cook and prepare the sweets. Queen Moon was walking through the halls in a sour mood when she saw Star and Tom on the floor. Queen Moon gave each of them a nudge, but they didn't respond. She saw that they were asleep so she yelled, " Wake up young lady or you'll be shipped off to Saint Olga's!"

Star immediately jolted awake and screamed, " Not Saint Olga's!"

Star then realized that Saint Olga's had been shut down and looked in annoyance at her mom.

"Mom!"

Queen Moon gave an innocent look to Star while Star was giving her angry stares. Then Star saw that Tom was stirring from his sleep. Tom looked around with tired eyes as he woke up. 'What an interesting night'. Tom couldn't believe how chaotic their simple trip became. Tom made a note to check the labels of food to avoid an incident like last night. It was amusing to him, but he knew some people were certainly not happy. Tom yawned and said, "Morning Star. Morning Queen Moon".

"Morning Tom. Could you two explain to me why you're here sleeping on the hallway?", Moon glared.

"Mom let's just say we had a little bit of trouble last time", Star chucked nervously.

"What did you do this time?"

"Well we were having a little trip with Marco and young Moon to get cornshakes, and something unexpected happened."

Star and Tom told Queen Moon about the incident from yesterday. When Queen Moon heard about her younger self pouring in all the sugar from a dispenser into her cornshake, she instantly remembered the so called lunatic. 'So that was our sugar hungry lunatic' Moon thought dryly to herself. Then she was instantly shocked at what her younger self did in a sugar drunk state. 'She did what! Queen' Moon thought in utter amazement. Queen Moon couldn't believe her younger self stole all of the cornshakes and looted candy stores. Queen Moon was mystified when hearing her younger self casted a spell that caused her younger self to collapse. Then she connected the dots from the disappearance of the sugar from the kingdom to her younger self. Queen Moon facepalmed when she realized that her younger self was responsible for the disappearance of the sugar. 'She casted a spell that consumed all sugar in the kingdom while drunken, unbelievable ' Queen Moon thought while rubbing her forehead. She than cleared her throat then groaned, "Well because of our incident I had to order sugar to keep the ball on schedule."

"Can't it wait for a few days", Star asked hopefully.

"No Star the royals wanted a ball for one month and I can't keep them waiting for much longer", Moon said sympathetically, "Anyways I have to oversee the sugar deliveries in order to see if we can get enough sugar by midday."

Queen Moon left the two teens in the hallway to attend to business. Tom got up first and helped Star up before asking, " Starships I think we should get something to eat."

Star nodded her head in agreement, and she walked with Tom to the dining room. Star didn't think she could cause any mayhem than Moon did even on Star's 'best days'. 'Young Moon certainly can cause mayhem' Star chuckled to herself. The closest thing Star had done to rival Moon was during the wand ceremony. Right after Star got her wand she set half of the kingdom on fire with a giant rainbow of fire. But yesterday's incident could possibly topple Star's own record. She wondered if maybe Moon could hang out sometime. Moon certainly was more fun than her mother currently, and Star wondered if her mom was like young Moon when her mom was younger. Star just wished that Moon wasn't so close to Marco already, and Star didn't know why she was irritated by this.

When Tom and Star walked to into the dining room they could see Moon and Marco were already eating. Moon waved her hand saying," Hi Star, Hi Tom!"

"Hi Moon, Hi Marco", Tom and Star said.

As the two latecomers were sitting Marco asked Star, " Ready for the ball tonight?"

Star's mood instantly soured at the thought of the impending ball tonight. Star shook her head and said, " I only picked out my dress last night." Star hadn't practiced her dancing skills in some time as she last danced three weeks ago. She also didn't know who would be invited, so she was nervous. Star was still in a bad mood before Tom said to her, " Don't worry Starship, everything will be ok."

"Thanks Tom."

The four then discussed what they should be doing in preparation for the ball. Moon suggested that they should look at the ball's guest list to see who would be invited and get a good idea of the people they would see. They agreed that looking at the guest list would be most wise for the ball. Then Star said that she needed to practice her manners for the ball so she could make a good impression. She also said she needs a dance partner to practice her dancing skills. Tom volunteered to be Star's partner, and she excepted Tom's offer. Nobody except Marco saw Star's slight disappointment as if she was expecting someone else to dance with her. 'Who else does she want' Marco frowned to himself. The four were done with breakfast sooner than expected and left the hall quickly to get the invitation list from Star's mom. While they were discussing Star's ball they could hear the other Butterflies were excited for the ball that would be taking place. From what the four could hear the royals wanted Star to pick Tom as her prince to form a Butterfly-Lucitor alliance. Star frowned slightly at the thought of picking Tom as her prince. Even though she was dating Tom at the moment, she was unsure of her feelings right now. Star loved Tom still, but with Moon's arrival awakened some of Star's old feelings for Marco. Star knew that her ball was coming up for some time, but she forgot about it quickly. Plus she would rather have it in one month rather than now. Star sighed to herself seeing Moon and Marco holding hands. Sometimes Star wished she was the one holding Marco's hand.

They soon arrived to Queen Moon's office after ten minutes. Star and Tom saw that she was in a a slightly better mood than in the morning. Queen Moon noticed the four entering her office and said, " Hi Star, what do you need?" Queen Moon knew that Star would usually see her if she needed help.

"Can we look at the guest list?"

"Sure Star."

Queen Moon handed the guest list to Star and the four immediately began to read the list. Star's heart froze when she skimmed through the guest list. Practically all royalty from the kingdoms of Mewni were invited! Even the major kingdoms from other dimensions were invited to the ball. Star couldn't believe how many people were invited to her ball and that gave her a panic attack. 'I knew a lot of people were coming, but this many?' Star numbly thought. Star felt her head spinning from the sure shock of seeing so many people invited. Star could feel Tom holding her shoulder and whispering, " It's ok Starship." Star then hugged Tom in appreciation. Star was still nervous about the ball but felt better with her friends backing her up. Star looked at Marco, Tom, and lastly Moon to see that they were all reassuring Star. She put on a brave face and said, "Let's get ready for the ball."

The following hours passed in a blur as the four prepared for the ball in the evening. They first went to the largest hall in the castle that would host the ball, the convention hall. The hall was eight times the size of the throne room which was already large. They could see the preparations for the ball already finished. They could see large tables set up to set up snacks, but most of the snacks were missing. There was a large banner of a blue pony head on top of a blue shield that was the symbol of the Butterflies above the entrance. There were decorations strung up around the room that were the same color as Star's favorite color. Then there were raised platforms that would seat the different families of royalty during the final part of the ball, the dance.

Star then went to her room to practice dancing with Tom, and Moon and Marco observed the two. Moon could tell the two were excellent dancers as the two circled around each other like they knew the other's move. Moon than wondered how she would do with Marco before blushing at the thought. Moon then saw Tom and Star emitting magic and leaving behind a trail of pink magic and fire. 'That's quite impressive' Moon thought to herself. The duo finally reached their grand finale as they shot towards the air with magic. The duo then kissed each other affectionately to finish off their dance. Moon could see that Marco was slightly jealous, but he seemed to be holding himself together well. Moon was amazed at the two's skill and looked to improve on their skills. Tom and Star practiced dancing for well into an hour before stopping. Then Star pulled out a book of manners and etiquette to review as she hadn't read it in a few months. She had to review the rules for a little over an hour while the other three discussed how they think the ball will go.

When Star was done the four went to get a quick meal from the kitchen. As they saw there were walking they could already see some of the guests there. While they were at the kitchen they saw that the chefs were frantically preparing the desserts and snacks for the ball from the recently delivered sugar. Moon couldn't help but feel bad for the chefs and promised to somehow repay the chefs. After finishing their quick meals, they went to check the time and saw that it was already midday. The ball would start at early evening so they had only a few hours left to prepare. They then left to hang out one last time before the ball. Star wanted to spar with Moon to test her abilities. Let's just say that Moon was able to defeat Star within ten minutes of pure chaos that left both combatants tired, and they both collapsed onto the ground after the spar. The boys had to carry the girls to their respective rooms and laid them on their beds. The girls slept for two hours and realized that they would be late if they didn't finish preparations. Marco and Moon left Star's room to go to his room to change before the ball started.

And that leads us to the current moment. Marco was currently finding the suit that Moon found yesterday, and was wondering what Moon had in store for him. Moon was currently waiting for Marco to change as she had in her words 'A surprise' for Marco. Marco felt a sense of nostalgia when wearing the suit as it bought back memories of the Blood Moon Ball. Marco had always wondered what the meaning of the Blood Moon truly meant. At first he thought that he and Star were destined to be together, but recently Marco was starting to challenge that. Marco was already falling for Marco and was wondering if Moon felt the same way for him. Moon had always seem to like Marco, but in love? That was something Marco didn't want to ask yet as he didn't want to look like a fool. Marco soon finished changing and went outside. Marco could see Moon blushing at seeing Marco in the suit. Marco said to Moon, " The bathrooms free!"

Moon nodded at Marco and went to the bathroom to change. As Marco waited for Moon to change, he saw the door to his room open revealing Tom and Star dresses up. Tom was wearing a red tuxedo with gold trimmed collars and cliffs. His buttons were made out of pure cold to show off his power to others. There were two black resent moons on each of his sleeves. To top it all off Tom was wearing red pants with a silky texture with black bottom hem. Tom looked stunning, and Marco could just imagine how the girls of the ball would flock to Tom. Star was several tiers more beautiful than normal and that was saying something. The aquamarine coloring suited her so well, and the design of the dress complemented Star nicely. Star had curled her hair to add to her already stunning looks. To top it all off she was wearing her crown made especially for special occasions. 'She's so pretty' thought Marco happily. Tom had better watch out as all the boys were going to storm Star tonight.

"What do think Marco", Star asked.

Marco stated at Star for a few seconds before registering her question. " You look amazing Star!"

Star blushed at Marco's comment and thought how it would be nice to be with Marco tonight. 'Wait not Marco, with Tom!' Star angrily told herself. Why was she thinking about Marco? Star was trying to convince herself that it was because she was worried about Marco, but deep down she knew otherwise. Star always thought Marco was cute, and with his suit he looked even better than usual. Star could only stare with dreamy eyes at Marco. Tom however didn't notice this while he asked Marco, " Where's young Moon? "

Then as if on time Moon stepped out of the bathroom. Marco's eyes threatened to bulge out of his sockets at the beauty he was seeing. Everyone gasped at seeing Moon's appearance, and even Star had to gasp in amazement. Moon's dress was a purple with the length alternating between lighter and darker shades of blue every several inches. After her waist there was a dark purple line going around her waist with a magenta diamond in the front. Her sleeve lengths had gold lined along its too and her sleeve had a dark purple color. The main body of the dress had a very light purple color that was circular in shape with the edges of the dress being mild purple. At her neck was a golden butterfly that is made out of pure gold. Her dress showed part of her back with purple tightening strings. The back of her dress was a light purple color. Her hair was done up in a fashion similar to Queen Moon with a large diamond gold headpiece and a diamond in the center. There were several smaller headpiece that spread out in Moon's hair connected by pearls.

Marco could hardly breath in the presence of Moon. Moon could see everyone's startled reactions and grinned. Marco had no words to describe Moon's beauty. All of the usual words such as 'beautiful' or 'stunning' were no comparison to Moon's current state. Heck even 'angelic' would be lacking when trying to describe Moon. Her beauty radiated like a supernova blazing through the room. Marco could only stare at the beauty in front of him for he could not form words.

Moon saved her hand and asked, "What do you think?"

Tom was the first to respond to Moon's question. "You look incredible!"

Star then shook out of her daze to say, "Wow I never realized how amazing you look."

Marco was the last to respond as he was the one that was stunned the most. After about a minute Marco stuttered, "You look like the personification of beauty."

Moon blushed at Marco's remark and said, " Thank you. Now we have a ball to get to. "

They numbly nodded before leaving the room. Star held hands with Tom while Marco held hands with Moon. Star was still stunned at how incredible Moon looked. Star was slightly jealous that she didn't have the same impact on Marco as Moon. Star didn't know why she was jealous but the fact remains that she was still jealous. Star looked at Marco longingly and imagined she was holding hands with him. Star almost slapped herself at thinking that. She was with Tom not Marco!

Tom was thinking about how Moon looked and even though he wasn't dating her, he still had to admit Moon was stunning. 'Was Star's mom this attractive when she was young?' Tom pondered. He brushed the thought aside and instead thought about the ball. He was looking forward to seeing new faces and seeing friends he normally couldn't see. Tom was also eager showing off his and Star's dancing skills. They were deemed as the best dancers in all of Mewni. Tom wanted to see how Moon's dancing skills compared to his and Star's skills.

Finally Marco was still in a state of shock as he still couldn't believe Moon's beauty. 'She looks even prettier than Star' Marco thought dazed. His feelings for Moon increased tenfold, and he wanted to tell Moon about his feelings for her. He didn't though because he didn't want Moon to reject him and look like a complete fool. Moon looked at Marco and giggled at seeing his face. Marco could feel Moon's hand on his cheek while asking, " Ready for tonight Marco?'

"Ready as I'll ever be."

The four then reached the entrance to the convention hall. Star had to part way with the others as tradition dictates that the princess just have a grand entrance to the ball. Tom, Moon, and Marco went inside to the ball and were immediately greeted by hundreds of royals. The hall was jammed pack with people! Everywhere they could see there was an endless sea of people with enough fabric to make clothes for thousands of people. Every prince wanted to get the favor of the princess in a hope to become the future king of the Butterfly kingdom. They eagerly awaited the introduction of princess Butterfly. As the trio made their way through the crowds, a good number of people turned to look at Moon. They kept mistaking her for Queen Moon and asking her how she looks so young. Moon had to politely answer all of them so she could make a good impression. Some of the princess even tried to ask Moon out last her attire caught the eyes of the princes, but each time a prince asked she politely declined their requests. This left each Prince heartbroken after each rejection. Marco couldn't help but feel bad for the princes.

Soon Marco managed to spot his group of friends from the crowd. Janna, Kelly, Ponyhead, and even Hekapoo was there. Kelly was the first one to spot the trio before shouting, "Hey Marco, Tom, and mystery girl!"

The group of friends immediately rushed to greet the trio. Hekapoo slapped Marco's head, but he swiftly avoided her hand to avoid a bald spot. Ponyhead greeted Marco with the usual remark of "Earth Turd", and Marco had to roll his head in annoyance. Janna asked Tom if he knew any curses or demonic spells she could use, and Tom wisely told her that messing with demonic magic was dangerous. Then everyone looked at Moon. Hekapoo raised an eye when she was Moon and looked suspiciously at Moon. "So who are you?" , Hekapoo asked curiously.

"I'm princess Moon Butterfly, future heir to the throne of Butterfly Kingdom of another reality."

Everyone except for Tom and Marco widened their eyes at Moon's response. There was a brief silence among them before Ponyhead abruptly yelled, " Another reality? That's radical girl! "

Hekapoo chuckled, " Marco you sure have a way to break the fourth wall. "

Marco laughed at Hekapoo's response before telling all of them about his tale. From the moment her and Moon met to the activities they did while in the other reality. Marco finished the story by telling everyone how Moon casted a spell to cross realities to get home. Everyone had a good laugh at the tale, and Kelly remarked how Marco was such a lady's man. Marco blushed at her remark, and he only smiled. Tom couldn't believe Marco's luck to score a girl in such an unusual manner. Sure Tom had seen unusual things with Star, but this tops anything Star had ever done.

Before any of them could continue with their conversations, the lights dimmed as Queen Moon stepped out of the curtains of the royal podium with King River. Moon saved her hand and everyone yelled, "All hail Queen Moon!" After the crowds has settled Moon began to speak. " Now tonight is a very special night. Tonight is dedicated to my daughter. Tonight is her first real steps into becoming a queen. I would like to introduce princess Star Butterfly! "

Trumpets began to board as the curtains were rolled back from another entrance, revealing Star Butterfly. She walked gracefully down a red carpet, and the royal got out of the way. There was silence while Star was walking down the carpet. When Star reached the end of the carpet, Star shouted, " May the festivities begin! "

Immediately Star was swarmed by a multitude of princes trying to woo her. Some of the princes practically begged Star to take them as her suitor. The majority of the attempts were poorly preformed, but a few managed to make a sincere effort. Of course Star rejected all of them one at at time, and she began walking to her friends. The crowd of princes however didn't dwindle as more came to replace the rejected princes. It took Star a good ten minutes to reach her friends with the crowd of princes before she sent a surge of magic to push back all the princes. Star then took Tom's hand and after seeing this, most of the princes gave up on Star.

Tom chuckled, " Well Starship you certainly have a way to scaring the competition. "

"No one is going to woo me tonight except you" , Star laughed.

They then kissed each other to prove their points to the other princes. A few princes were undeterred, and those few continued to Lester Star throughout the night. The group of friends soon mingled together. Star told everyone about her latest adventures with Tom and the crazy sugar incident. Everyone laughed at the stories while Moon's face reddened from embarrassment. Kelly then told how she went into an ancient temple with Janna to find ancient scrolls. The scrolls apparently were cursed, and they were chased by angry spirits. Janna just laughed and said that Kelly could always hang out with her. Kelly promptly politely refused Janna's offer. Ponyhead asked everyone if they were ready to party and everyone except Moon inwardly groaned. Ponyhead's partying usually resulted in everyone except herself laying in the floor, passed out from the excessive partying. Hekapoo said that the Magic High Commission was here, but she decided to go see Marco.

While the group was exchanging stories and thoughts, Queen Moon and River looked on at their daughter. Both of them were proud of their daughter as she for the most part after politely. River smiled, " Look at our girl grown up! "

Queen Moon nodded her head in agreement and said, " I know River. "

After some time of festivities the Queen raised her hand to get everyone's attention. "Now we just get on to the most important part of the ball, the dancing ceremony. Now any princes who wish to dance with my daughter can do so. "

At that the few princes who, who were still unrelenting to get Star's attention, grinned at Queen Moon's words.Star inwardly groaned at the thought of dancing with stuck up princes. There were in total eighteen princes who tried to woo Star through dancing, but she was unimpressed by them. Although the princes were good, they weren't good enough. After the eighteen princes were done Moon asked, " Is there anyone else who wishes to dance with my daughter? " Tom had agreed to let Marco dance with Star before him, and Marco was grateful for that.

Marco walked up to to Star and said, " I will. "

Some of the princes were about to object when Star have them a withering glare that caused the princes to back off. 'Jerks' though Star. Star looked into Marco's eyes and said, "You look amazing Marco."

" You too Star. "

The two immediately began to go off. Marco trailed Star around the room while they were slowly spinning around each other. Star looked at Marco seductively and he blushed. Star then began leaving a trail of pink magic while they were dancing. Marco lifted Star off the floor while Star bowed to everyone. Everyone in the room were clapping and cheering at the display of skill. Star had no idea Marco was this good at dancing. Star was soon hypnotized by Marco's caring gaze. If only she could kiss him right now. They soon twirled around the dancing space with precision. Then Marco let go of Star and bowed his head before going back to his waiting friends. Star was disappointed that Marco left so soon, but she didn't show it. Tom then walked up to Star and asked, " Ready to give them a show? "

"You bet it Tom."

They immediately began to dance in a slow tango style. The music was slow and heavy, perfect for the two's dance. Tom held Star around the waist and Star blushed. Star then grabbed Tom's shoulder with one arm while cupping his cheeks with the other. The two then began to do their legendary trails of fire and magic. The two's magic mixed with each other seamlessly. Tom lifted Star up, and Star once more bowed her head. Tom let Star drop down to halfway down the floor before pulling her up. Star had to admit Tom was still an excellent dancer, and together they were a spectacular. They soon spam around each other before a stream of magic and fire pushed the duo up slowly. The two then kissed each other as the pillar of magic and fire supported them. When the kiss broke, the pillar slowly descended to the floor. When the two finally broke off and bowed their heads the entire room was clapping and cheering at the spectacular display. Even Janna clapped and she usually didn't clap.

After the cheering died down Queen Moon asked, " Star Butterfly do you chose Tom Lucitor as your prince? "

Star was hesitant to answer before saying, " I do. "

"Long live the Butterfly-Lucitor line!" , everyone chanted.

Queen Moon had tears of joy in her eyes before speaking up, " The dance floor is now open! "

There was a rush of people going to the dance floor to dance with their loved or just to have fun. Of course Ponyhead shoved several people out of the way so she could party. Star chucked at her friends antics. Marco danced with Hekapoo as he had never danced with her before. Hekapoo blushed while dancing with Marco as he spun her around and lifted her. "I can see why you're such a lady's man", Hekapoo chuckled.

"Well I do have my looks", Marco chuckled.

After dancing with Hekapoo, Moon slowly approached Marco and asked, " May I have this dance Marco? "

"Of course Moon", Marco smiled.

When as they held each other's hands to begin their dance there was a ray of of red moonlight that came out of the ceiling, which conveniently was made out of glass above the dancing floor. Everyone in the room immediately turned their heads in surprise, and the demons in the room recognized the light and whispered, " The Blood Moon. " The duo looked surprised but they continued their dance. Moon grabbed Marco by the shoulder while his hands traveled to Moon's waist. They started to move across the dancing floor moving with pre while circling each other. Everyone moved out of the dancing floor and even Ponyhead moved. Then the duo suddenly took their dance up by a few notches. They began to swiftly move now with Marco twirling Moon over his head. Moon then spun Marco around, and their hands met. Marco let Moon dip down and she returned the favor with Marco by spinning Marco again. The crowd soon noticed that Marco's cheeks were glowing a white crescent moon, and many people were shocked. Only Butterflies could have checkmark yet here was a boy from Earth who processed cheekmarks. Moon's cheeks were also glowing white from the magic. The duo reached the middle of the room before a massive bust of red and purple magic gushed the two up. Moon looked into Marco's kind brown eyes. Moon now knew that she only wanted Marco and only Marco. Moon's hand cupped Marco's cheeks and he did the same with Moon.

"I love you Marco."

"I know Moon."

They then kissed each other passionately while streams of red and purple magic slowly circled them. When the duo broke their kiss, the Blood Moon faded away into the normal moon. The gust of magic slowly lowered the young lovers into the floor. Everyone was silent before a massive storm of cheering broke out among the crowd. People were already calling Moon and Marco's dance the best dance ever. While Moon and Marco were bowing their heads, Marco noticed an upset Star looking back at him.

And that ends the chapter. Wow 6k words! I know I'm going kinda fast, but I'll slow down after this chapter. The Blood Moon has chosen a new pair tonight! Until next time Peace!
