Welcome back! We're back again for another chapter. No pranks I swear. We'll see some revelations things this chapter. Now on with the story!

Mewni Prime

They had just returned from their trip from the deep archives. Currently they were at the dining room eating food. Everyone was sill processing the information that they had just learnt. Star was shocked at that she would no longer be able to be bonded with Marco, and that saddened her. She wants to be with Marco eventually but after hearing Moon's description of a three person bond, Star knew she would never be with Marco ever again. Tom meanwhile was interested in the old theory about a score. Tom began to wonder if the Blood Moon had a mind of its own and if it could possibly be an entity. Moon was still thinking about the revelations about Vega Butterfly, and her apparent travel here. 'She died 950 years ago yet there are records that show that she was still alive, incredible' Moon thought in awe 'Did she find a way to cheat death?' Marco was shocked at how old the Blood Moon really was. He wondered how many pairs have been chosen over the many millennias of Blood Moon.

"What do you want to do today?" , Tom said at last.

Moon rose out of me chair and said, "I want to explore Mewni to compare it with my Mewni."

"I'll go with you Moon", Marco said to Moon.

"I would love to go, but I have a date with Star tonight", Tom told the two.

"Have fun you too!", Star shouted as got up with Tom. They quickly left Moon and Marco by themselves in the dining room. Marco went to Moon and gently grabbed her hand. Moon blushed at Marco's display and held his hand affectionately.

"Milady."

"Marco your so courteous."

They got out of the ding room to go to the castle exit. They walked down the halls quickly as the hall was deserted except for the occasional guard. The guards knew by now that young Moon was not Queen Moon, and they knew how to address young Moon properly. The guards bid the two a good night while the two walked by. The two bid the guards a good night in response before moving along. Marco asked Moon where she wanted to explore first, and she said that the city surrounding the castle would be a good start. They reached the castle doors shortly afterwards, and the guards on station opened the castle doors for the two to pass. When the two reached the outskirts of the city, Moon was mortified at just how bad the conditions were. They were atrocious! People were living in rags, and most people looked like they were starving. Most people were dirty and could seriously use a bath. The houses, if they could even be called houses, had straw roofs with collapsing infrastructure. There were a few acceptable houses, but they were a few compared to the many abysmal houses. The streets were littered with trash and waste dumped out of the street. There were markets that were selling some very shady products, and Moon had to guess most of the products are dangerous. Nobody seemed to enforce order and crime was rampant. A group of thugs even tried to mug the two for money, but Moon used her magic to make the thugs fall asleep. As they kept walking, Moon couldn't see a single hospital or an aid outpost. She felt horrible for the people who had to live in such subpar conditions and wished she could help. The one bonus was that nobody recognized her as the sugar eating lunatic as surviving made people quickly forget about unimportant events. Moon had to wonder where the funds were for helping the people. Moon didn't even see one school in the city for the public, and she was saddened at the state of this Mewni.

"So Moon what do you think?", Marco asked after an hour of exploring the city.

"It's horrible! At least in my Mewni the citizens can bathe normally. These people can't do that!", Moon shouted in disgust.

"Yeah most of the infrastructure hasn't been renovated in decades and most of the repairing comes from the people's pocket."

"Something must be done!"

Moon began to go off in a rant on how terrible things were compared to her Mewni. There were hospitals and government aid centers to help the poor in her Mewni. There were schools for the children to go to and bustling markets. Her Mewni had police officers patrolling the streets to enforce the law. The buildings of her Mewni were made out of stone and had wood roofs. Most people had several sets of nice clothing, and they could bathe normally. Even the poorest part of her kingdom still had better conditions than this. Marco paid close attention to how Moon was horrified at how the conditions were, and he wished Star could have some of made some of Moon's improvements a reality. Marco cleared his throught to get Moon's attention.

"I know that this is bad, but Star is trying to get funds to improve conditions. Her efforts were blocked by most of the royalty as the royalty feared that it would impact their personal wealth."

Moon's face darkened hearing this and chuckled dangerously, " Well next time Star is around, I will tell her how to play the game of politics. You see three years ago I tried to get approval to fund aid projects for the poorer parts of my kingdom, but it was blocked by many nobles. So I had to use underhand tactics to get people to get the funding. I exposed corruption among the nobles. They committed tax evasion, and I threatened to tell my mom that."

"Wait didn't some of the nobles tried to threaten you?", Marco asked, concerned.

"A few nobles did try to assassinate me, but luckily I had royal guards with me. I was also predicting their plans, so I exposed those who did. The nobles who tried to assassinate me were tried with treason and were executed. Their personal wealth was taken over by the royal family, and my mom gave me some money to fund my project. I returned to the corrupt nobles and said that if they don't give me their support, I'll report them. They gave me their support quickly and that's how the game of politics is played", Moon finished darkly.

Marco was stunned at how Moon could be so cold and calculating at such a young age. He began to wonder if Moon had a dual personality with each personality being very different from each other. The way that Moon had just talked was nothing like how she usually talks. She normally was polite and cheerful but when she talkd about politics she was brutal. Marco was worried at how often Moon would become deathly serious and hoped that she didn't do it often. He didn't want to be the enemy of Moon as her tone suggests that she was smarter than she looked. Marco shook his head and asked, " Where do you want to go now?"

Moon contemplated for a second before saying, " I think a walk in the woods should wash off all the negativity."

They began to walk into the Forest of Certain Death. Moon grabbed onto Marco as they approached the Forest of Certain Death. Marco hugged her protectively in return and Moon giggled at that. The forest was among the most dangerous things on Mewni and it is generally dissuaded from walking in it unless the person was prepared. Luckily the forest went into another forest which is less dangerous. To get to the other forest requires a ten mile walk. Now Marco had never really liked the Forest of Certain Deatgph, and he kept wondering why anyone has not attenpted to cut down the forest by this point. The place gave him the creeps as it always felt like something was watching him silently.

"Well some things never change and the Forest of Certain Death looks exactly like the one from my reality", Moon said nervously.

"We got each other Moon, so nothing will happen."

"I know Marco."

Moon gave Marco a quick kiss on the cheeks, and he blushed from the kiss. 'Even in this creepy place she still manages to brighten things up' Marco chuckled to himself. Marco began to tell Moon how his first trip to the Forest of Certain Death went. Moon laughed at how Star wanted to give his parents a gift, so Star took the Diazes to a trip to Mewni. Marco told how Star's dad kept running into them and then Star had the brilliant idea of going to a forest literally named the Forest of Certain Death. 'Star seems quite reckless compared to me' Moon giggled. His parents thought the place was wonderful, but Marco thought this place was horrible. He had to avoid several man eating plants while his parents happily walked through the forest. Then Star and Marco encountered a hydra in a cave that ate the Diazes. Moon was horrified at this as she didn't want Marco to lose his parents. Moon knew that hydras from her own Mewni could only be killed through powerful magic. Then Moon chuckled at how both Star and Marco's quick thinking caused them to defeat the hydra by making a knot. 'That was one hell of a story' Moon thought.

They walked for another ten minutes before Marco asked if Moon wanted to turn back, but she said she had a gut feeling that they should continue. Marco decided to go along with Moon's but feelings to walk further along the forest. Moon then told Marco how her first visit to the Forest of Certain Death went. She had to go to the Forest of Certain Death to practice a certain spells that required trees. Moon thought that something was watching her from the moment she stepped into the forest, and she was right. She had to run away from at least seven man eating trees and six man eating creatures. Marco was shaking his head in frustration because none in either realities had cut down the dangerous forest. When she was running, she spotted an open circle among the forest. The creatures couldn't enter the circle for some odd reason, and that circle had become the place she practiced spells.

"And that circle is the spot I met you", Moon finished.

Marco chuckled at that as they met in less than favorable condition. He still had a hard time believing on how unbelievably lucky their meeting was. Out of all of the realities there were the spell chose his reality. Marco had no problem with that, and he couldn't imagine not meeting Moon. Without her he would of never been able to get over Star and move forward. Moon was a new shining ray of hope for him.

Marco looked at Moon and saw she was getting sleepy. Marco asked, "Moon we should go back to the castle now."

"Just a little bit more Marco."

Marco was about to object when he saw Moon's puppy face and knew he wouldn't win. "Alright you win", Marco sighed in defeat.

Marco decided to walk for another ten minutes before they would head back. Moon nodded in appreciation and gave him a little nudge. Marco took on the surroundings and noticed that the trees looked less menacing and more normal the more they walked. After about ten minutes, Marco was about to call Moon. Moon then stopped in her tracks and looked at a small clearing. Moon pulled Marco forward as if she was possessed.

" This is the place I was trying to find ", Moon said dreamily.

Marco looked at the clearing she was pulling him to, and he looked in awe at the natural beauty of it. The clearing had a small prestine pond in it with trees that looked normal. The trees looked old but enchanted and there were small critters moving aound the clearing. The skies overhead was clear with a full Moon overhead. 'This place would be perfect for a picnic' Marco thought. Marco didn't know how Moon knew this place would be here, but he didn't complain. Moon nudged on his shoulder and asked, "Can we lay down here?"

"Of course Moon."

They laid down on the soft grass on the floor, and they looked to the night sky. Marco pointed out the constellations he could memorize, and Moon was amazed at the beauty of the night sky. Moon hugged Marco across the back, and he raised an eye at that. Moon just shrugged before looking back into the night sky.

"The Moon looks beautiful tonight", Moon said.

"But the Moon down here is far more beautiful", Marco chuckled.

Moon stared at Marco before saying, "I love you."

"I love you too."

They then slowly went in for a kiss and closed their eyes. When their lips connected, both of them could feel the passion behind them. This was their first actual kiss, and it felt amazing. The kiss was not too soft but not too rough. It was perfect. Each of their minds whirled around at their first kiss. They kissed each other in the moonlight for a few moments before seperating. They both panted before both of them blushed bright red. The two then knew that their love for each other was genuine and that made the kiss even better. Moon snuggled her head across Marco's chest before saying, "Good night Marco."

"Good night Moon."

As they slowly fell asleep, the Moon turned red and crescent shaped.

Star was sleeping with her boyfriend after their date. They had went and explored the underworld tonight, and the trip was fun. She saw wild life and the common demon folk. All in all tonight was a good night except for one thing, Moon. Star was slowly becoming more jealous at Moon for stealing Marco. Star was still hurt at Marco's choice, and she didn't want to admit it, but she was still in love with Marco. After being with Tom, she thought her feelings for Marco would disappear and it did for a while, but her feelings for Marco came back after Moon appeared. 'Stupid Moon getting in the way' Star growled. Star shook her head to clear her head, but a wicked thought still played in her head, 'You've lost Marco for good'. She slowly went to sleep to see what tommorow had in store.

Unknown Planet

"Mistress we are almost ready. We only need a few dozen ships before we can procede", said a cloaked figure.

"Soon we shall make our glorious return from the shadows", the female figure smirked, "Now leave me."

The cloaked figure bowed its head before leaving. The female figure had waited for many centuries but soon her fury will be felt by the multiverse. Her hidden army would soon be complete, and her powers had grown significantly. Even if she was defeated, she knew that her other events will lead to a chain reaction that would still result in a dark empire. Everything was falling into place and now all she needed to do was to wait for the right time to strike.

"Soon the multiverse will be mine", the figure crackled.

Mewni Prime

'Am I in my dreams again?' Moon wondered as she was in the black void again. She stretched her body before she flew around the void. Soon she couod see a stone wall. Slowly the stone wall expanded upon her until it encircled her. She could see several red monster carvings and several massive pillars. She could see that the place was completely empty of life except her. Moon guessed that this place used to be a monster temple as the temple fit the discription of one from her research from the deep archives. She looked around and shouted, "Hello? Is anyone there?"

There was no response, and Moon shook her head. She looked around the room and saw a door with spades on it. She pressed on it, and the door opened slowly. When the door opened, Moon could see a portrait of Eclipsa with her monster lover. 'So Eclipsa does exist in this reality like my own. I wonder how they would compare' Moon thought silently. She could see an abandoned bed with dusty toys on them. They looked like they were abandoned for centuries, and Moon wondered who the toys were for.

Then she heard a soft whispering coming from her side.

"Who's there?!"

Yet there was no reply. Moon began to become even more suspicious and readied up her Magic. Soon the whispering came again, and this time she could see that the whispering had come from one of the walls. Moon then guessed that the wall had a secret passage in them and needed some sort of combination to open as the wall had square tiles. She tried a few combinations like 'X' or 'Vega', but the wall didn't do anything. 'If I was Vega what would I put?' Moon wondered, 'Wait it was said that she spoke of something called helios in high regards'. She tried 'helios' and at first nothing happened. Then the entire wall shook, and a massive door was revealed. The door opened and revealed a long spiraling staircase lit by magical torches.

Moon slowly walked down the staircase cautiously, but she could feel something calling to her. She soon sped down the staircase in a hurry before reaching th bottom. When she got to the bottom, Moon scanned the area quickly. At the bottom was a massive room with several massive statues of cloaked figures holding lightsabers, all aimed at the center. There was a raised platform with several peices of writing on them at the center. At the center was a small shrine. Moon creeped towards the shrine and stopped once in front of it. In the shrine was a small cylinder engraved with mysterious metals on it. Then a low chuckle came from behind her.

"Ah so you have come", a feminine voice spoke.

Moon spun around, and her eyes widened in horror at what she saw. The person who spoke was in fact the figure responsible for the slaughter from her previous dream.

"What are you doing here monster?!", Moon yelled.

"You don't know? My journey began here", the figure replied cooly.

"What journey?", Moon asked suspiciously.

"You'll learn soon enough", the figure said lowly, "How's Marco?"

"Don't talk about him", Moon growled dangerously. She did not like how the figure was speaking, and she didn't believe who the figure was. The figure showed her its face but only briefly. Moon hoped that the figure's face was just an illusion or some sort of make up.

"It can' hurt to ask, right. I haven't seen him in forever. Soon you'll lose him forever!", the figure spoke.

"Don't you dare touch Marco."

"Tell Marco that I said hi.", the figure spoke innocently.

The figure's hand slowly reached for its cloak, and the cloak slowly fell down. Moon gasped in horror at recognition of the face. She walked to the figure and touched its face. The face was solid with no smears from make up. Moon even casted a spell in desperation that would remove any disguise, but the spell didn't work for the face was normal. She didn't want to believe it, but the figure was undeniably...

Moon woke up with a start. This dream was just as disturbing as the previous dream. This dream had confirmed who the figure, and Moon wouldn't dare tell anyone who the figure really was. She had to find more clues to the figure's so called journey to better prepare for the future. Moon then remembered the monster temple she had just dreamt. Moon needed to ask Marco if he knew the temple as she knew the temple could reveal a clue to the figure's turn. Moon turned to see Marco still sleeping next to her, gentily sleeping. Moon wanted to let Marco sleep for a little bit longer so she decided to wake him up in ten minutes.

In that time Moon was thinking about her dream. She needed to know the location of that temple to srop the impending future. She needed to prevent that figure's existence or the multiverse would be plunged into darkness. A small part of her however disagreed with her reasoning and said that the future would be better with the figure as it would bring peace throughout the realms. Moon was horrified that she even thought up that the figure would be better for the multiverse. She was so disturbed that Marco stirred from his sleep. Marco slowly opened his eyes to see Moon being uneasy.

"Moon are you ok? I felt your uneasiness somehow and that woke me up", Marco asked.

"I just had another one of those visions", Moon told Marco after a few moments.

"Can you explain these visions?"

"I can but not on an empty stomach."

Marco sighed before pulling out his dimensional scissors. He cut a portal into the dining room and bowed at Moon to go first. Moon giggled and hugged Marco and told Marco he was such a gentleman. Moon entered the portal after releasing Marco from her hug. Marco followed Moon before closing the portal behind him. The dining room was deserted, and no one was ther except for them. They got a quick breakfast of cereal and milk and sat down in the empty dining room.

Moon then described her vision to Marco. She began with how her last dream started except for the light being a wall. She told Marco the general description of the temple. After hearing the description of one of the statues, Marco knew where the temple was at.

"Wait that temple was the one Star held Monster Bash at."

"Are you sure Marco?"

"I'm positive Moon."

Moon continued with her vision. She described Eclipsa's room to Marco, and he knew that the toy's belonged to Meteora. There was a wall with the password 'helios' in her vision, and Marco's eyes widened. Mythology can't be real right? The room Moon described to Marco sounded like the typical description of a tomb, and he was even more shocked. Then Moon told Marco about the cloaked figure reappearing and telling her about its journey to the darkness. Moon told Marco about its question about him. Marco's eyes narrowed in suspicion as he could tell Moon was hiding something. 'What could she be hiding in that dream?' Marco wondered. Marco shook his head as he felt like whatever the thing she was hiding must be something unimportant. If only Marco would know how wrong he was.

"Do you want to investigate this temple today Moon?", Marco said at last.

"Yes I would want to do that", Moon replied.

"Then what are you waiting for?"

They got out of their seats, and Marco opened a portal with his dimensional scissors to the abandoned monster temple. When they stepped through thr portal, there was an imposing building in front of them. The temple was large with statues that have survived the test of time. Everything about the temple was bhilt to last, even the furniture. This particular temple was abandoned centuries ago and has been forgoten by most. It has been abandoned after Eclipsa had been crystalized, but it was originally built centuries before her. It still had many secrets that were never fully uncovered by even the monsters who built the temple. Today was the day that the biggest secret would be uncovered. Marco closed the portal behind him and asked confidently, " Ready for anything?"

"Ready as I'll ever be."

And that wraps it up! I'm sorry for the short update, but I had a busy weekend. I'll soon have an even busier week ahead so expecr less updates. I'll still try to get up a chapter this week. I'm sorry for the delay, but I can't leave you guys hanging. Until next time Peace!
