Welcome back! I'm sorry for the late update but I was on a camping trip, so I had little time to write. I also asked the Wandering Hippy and Blackwolfwrites for tips and permission to use certain material. Anyways let's get on with the story.
Mewni Prime
Moon was panting heavily from running. This afternoon was perhaps one of the most terrifying days ever, and she hoped that it would not be a common occurrence. She thought that the temple was abandoned, but apparently not as several phantoms attacked them. She could still hear the screams from the temple. She could see Marco panting next to her in his room. They deserved some rest as they were almost killed.
Flashback
"So Moon do you remember any of this from your dream?" Marco asked.
"I recognize that statue from my dream, but there's supposed to be a door near the statue."
" Wait there's moss on it. It must be behind the moss! ", Marco shouted.
Moon teared down the moss with her magic, revealing a large door with a spare on it. Moon pushed on the door, but it wouldn't budge. After several pushes, Moon used magic to force the door open. Inside the door was a room identical to her dream. Straight ahead of her was a wall that she knew from her dreams. She looked at the wall before entering the password from her dreams.
Marco meanwhile was looking at the room and saw many similarities between this room and Meteora's room. He wondered if this was Eclipsa's room before it was abandoned. He could see toys scattered around the place and guessed that they were for Meteora. Marco wanted to know the full story of Eclipsa but knew it would have to wait. Marco's thoughts were interrupted when there was a low rumbling coming from a wall.
The wall slowly gave way, revealing a staircase. Marco's eyes widened at seeing just how accurate Moon's dream was. He was expecting some differences, but exactly the same? It was as if someone wanted them to go here. Deciding not to dwell on that thought, Marco gave a bow to Moon. "Ladies first."
Moon gave Marco a playful nudge before entering the staircase.
Tomb Room
"Goddess we have just spotted intruders opening the door. Shall we engage?", a man asked.
"No wait for our 'guests'. Let's see if they can survive my surprise."
"As you wish my goddess."
Now the waiting game has just begun.
Ten Minutes Later
After walking down the incredibly long staircase, they reached the bottom. At the bottom was a wide hallway, leading into a large room. Moon gave Marco a 'be ready' sign as they slowly walked through the hallway. The two didn't know what to expect, but they knew they could do it together. Moon grabbed her wand while Marco got into his karate stance. As they edged closer to the room, the place got brighter.
They went into the room, and Marco gaped at the shear scale of the room. It was massive! The room was at least eight hundred feet long by five hundred feet long. Marco knew the room was big from Moon's description, but this big? It was much larger than what Marco had originally thought. Around the room were robed figures holding lightsabers, all pointing to the middle. The middle had an alter, just as Moon had described in her dream. Marco went in first to walk to the alter in the middle. Moon was right behind Marco, checking for any traps. After all tombs would have some sort of defenses, right? Marco walked cautiously, making sure his feet didn't land on anything suspicious.
They reached the middle unscathed, and Marco let out a sigh of relief. 'So far so good' Marco thought. Moon meanwhile was highly suspicious as their journey was far too easy for her liking. Moon silently charged up a magical shield, ready to be brought up in an instant. Marco was the first one to look at the alter's contents. In the center was a cylindrical tube that looked suspiciously like a lightsaber from Star Wars. Marco was extremely curious to Vega's origins after seeing the lightsaber. After all it isn't everyday that one sees a real life lightsaber.
Moon reached the alter a few seconds after Marco reached it. Looking inside, she could tell the lightsaber was old. 'It must have been there for hundreds of years' thought Moon. Moon now knew without a doubt that this was built by Vega. The only person to wield a lightsaber was Vega and besides it looked similar to the one Vega wielded. Moon then slowly reached for the lightsaber. She grabbed it and slowly lifted the lightsaber. The lightsaber's metal tube was cool and smooth with carvings on it. Moon felt a button and pressed it. Almost immediately there was 'snap hiss' sound as a deep purple blade emerged from the tube. Moon could hear the constant humming coming from the weapon.
"Wow this is like the lightsabers from Star Wars", Marco remarked.
"What's Star Wars"', Moon asked, confused.
"Oops probably should of explained what Star Wars is", Marco laughed sheepishly.
Before Marco could say anything there was a low rumble. They looked frantically around the tomb, trying to determine the source of it. They soon was that the alter was slowly sinking into the ground. The two looked at each other before Moon summed up their situation in a sentence.
" I have a bad feeling about this. "
Not a moment later she said that sentence, there was an explosion of purple magic that erupted from the alter. They had to cover their eyes to avoid the glare. Fortunately Moon had her shield charged up and brought it up. The shield took the brunt of the explosion, and the explosion left the two shaken, but unharmed. When the dust settled, Moon gasped in horror at what she saw. In the place of the alter were shadowy specters, about a dozen. They all were heavily armed and armored, and they didn't look friendly. Then one of the specters roared out a battle cry, " For the goddess!"
Marco and Moon glanced at each other before assuming combat stances. The two knew that they had to work together to survive. Moon immediately let out a volley of diamond missiles towards the specters. The specters easily dodged the missiles, except for one unfortunate specter who was too slow. The specter let out a death howl as the missiles tore it apart. Marco then delivered an uppercut to a specter that was too close. The specter hissed and swung its mace at Marco. Marco jumped above the mace and delivered a quick series of punches at the specter. He then back flipped back to his previous position unscathed.
Moon saw that Marco was in danger and yelled, " Here!"
Marco turned to Moon and saw a lightsaber coming in his direction. He caught it midair and activated it. The specters were enraged at this and charged the two. The two were a cyclone of destruction as the specters tried to overrun the two. The two were in sync with each other, their moves graceful. Marco slashed at any specter who dared to come too close while Moon blasted the specters form afar. It was a sight to behold, but occasionally the two would slip from poor communications. This almost killed them several times, but the two fought on bravely.
The pair managed to defeat half of the specters, and it seemed as if the two would win. That was however before more specters appeared. Moon gave a look of exasperation and shouted, " Really!?"
At this rate the pair couldn't hold off all the specters for no matter how hard they fought, two specters appeared for every one killed. To make matters worse the pair was tiring out quickly from the fighting. Moon had to do something or they would surely die. Moon decided to charge up a spell that was so dangerous, it was only used as a last resort. Moon shouted, "Get down!", to Marco.
At first nothing happened, and the specters thought they had won. They slowly approached the two. Then a massive explosion came from Moon. The explosion shook the room and soon the explosion destroyed the room. The entire temple shook from the shear power of the explosion. Then half of the temple was engulfed in a blinding explosion.
Unknown Planet
"Mistress we have lost contact with the team at the temple!"
"Hmm it seems like our surprise failed", said the feminine figure.
"Please forgive me for-"
"SILENCE!", the figure exploded.
The person who was speaking whimpered in fear of her anger. It was common knowledge that if the mistress was angry, someone was about to experience a whole new definition of pain. A few passing soldiers heard her scream and quickly left the area. They all feared her wrath.
"Luckily all is not lost", the figure once again spoke, "Now leave me."
The hooded person bowed and quickly left, fortunate for not receiving any punishment for failure. The figure grinned wickedly as the point of the surprise was to gauge the strength of the subject. In fact she would of been disappointed if the subject failed. The upcoming war would be challenging, and the figure loved challenges. 'Soon the wait shall be over' thought the figure.
End Flashback
Moon laid back in the bed, exhausted. She wanted to just lay back and relax for a few days after today. Moon wanted to spend some time with Marco to get to know him better. Moon glanced at Marco and saw he was going to lay down with her. Moon could see that he was just as exhausted as her. Marco came crashing down on the bed with a thud.
"No more adventures for today!", Marco wheezed.
"I couldn't of agreed more Marco."
They laid there in silence for a few moments before Moon broke the silence.
"What do you want to do today?"
Marco looked around and saw that it was already evening. This meant that they didn't have a lot of time to do anything. They could always meet up with Star but then again Marco wasn't sure if Star would be thrilled to see Moon. He didn't want to do anything labor intensive as he drained. Today was perhaps the most exhausting day of his life. Not even in Hekapoo's dimension was he so exhausted.
"Let's just get dinner."
Moon wearily nodded her head in agreement. She then slowly got up from the bed and stretched her body. She gave Marco a hand, and he accepted her hand. She pulled Marco up and they went to the door. The walk to the dining room was uneventful for the most part, except for the occasional royal congratulating the two. The two were soon at the dining room and saw Queen Moon and River at the table with Star and Tom. The four looked at the two and could tell the pair were exhausted.
"Where were you Marco? We were trying to contact you for the entire day", Star asked.
"Not now. Tomorrow", Marco said tiredly.
Star was about to protest when her mother gave her a glare. Star grumbled but didn't press for any more information. Marco was about to ask for some food when the servants brought in desert. There was tray after tray of sweets brought in by the servants.
"My favorite part of the meal, dessert!", Star shouted.
"What are Moon and Marco going to-", Tom began.
He was interrupted by the sound of Moon springing from her seat. She leapt towards the closest servant. The poor servant leapt out in surprise before being tackled by Moon. Moon had a look of pure desperation as she pounced on the dessert on the tray. "Sugar!", she screamed in a crazed voice. The other servants glanced at each other before dropping their trays and fleeing the dining room. Marco just shook his head before asking Queen Moon for some food. Star was in a foul mood at seeing Moon stealing HER dessert with Tom trying to calm her down. Star took several deep breathes to calm her down before swiftly grabbing a cupcake before Moon could notice. Both River and Queen Moon exchanged a glance before sighing in disbelief. When Queen Moon was younger she had a particular dislike for sweets, but not Moon.
The sugar had the desired effects on Moon. She began to become more energetic as the lost energy was replaced. This caused some concern between Star, Tom, and Marco as they didn't want a repeat of the infamous sugar incident. They got ready just in case they had to restrain Moon. Luckily Moon wasn't as sugar hungry like before, and she just ate nine trays of sweets in record time. The other occupants of the dining room were either staring at Moon or just eating silently. Moon burped, "Excuse me."
Queen Moon just shook her head. "If this continues we'll have to order several tons of sugar. Don't you have royal manners?"
"I do, but I find them annoying. So I tend to not use fancy manners and only use them during official events."
Star couldn't help but giggle slightly at that. At least Moon wasn't as serious as her mom was. Maybe they could still be friends despite Marco. Or maybe not. Star was still jealous at Moon for taking Marco, and that wouldn't go away anytime soon.
"So what made you eat so much sugar?", Tom inquired.
"Oh Marco and I had a near death experience, nothing special", Moon said nonchalantly.
"WHAT!?", everyone yelled at the same time except Marco. Marco sighed but took comfort in the fact that Moon will be the one explaining their adventure.
"We just went into an abandoned temple to find an abandoned tomb. Then we got attacked by specters when we removed an artifact. No biggy", Moon said.
"Why were you exploring an abandoned temple?!". Queen Moon yelled.
"In one of my dreams I saw the temple, so I decided to investigate it."
Queen Moon and River mentally facepalmed at how reckless Moon was. Didn't she have a sense of safety? When Queen Moon was younger she was always cautious, but her younger self was more like Star then anything else. Star meanwhile was intrigued at Moon's tale. They were more alike then Star had realized. They could hang out in the future if Star could get over Marco. She also wanted to learn why the artifact was important enough to risk their own life. Tom meanwhile was surprised at how many unusual events have occurred since Moon have arrived. First the sugar incident, then the Blood Moon and now this? If Tom didn't know any better, he could say that fate had something to do with Moon's appearance. Marco was shocked at how calm Moon was, but he shouldn't be surprised. Moon was always optimistic, especially when she ate sugar.
Star then pestered Moon for more details about their adventure, and Moon was more than happy to recount the harrowing adventure. The further the story went, the more interesting the tale became. Soon even Queen Moon and River stopped eating and listened to the story. Tom was particularly interested in the part with the specters as they were hard to summon. Only a very powerful magic user could summon specters. Star gasped at how Moon and Marco were almost overwhelmed in the end. Star didn't want to literally lose Marco and was glad they were safe. When Moon told the group of her final resort spell, Queen Moon raised her eye. Queen Moon knew what spell her younger self used, and she used it herself when fighting Toffee. She used it to buy some time to escape with the bodies of the Magic High Commission. When Moon finished her tale, everyone was awed at the story. Not even Star's adventures were this crazy. Marco however was already falling asleep, and everyone realized that without sugar, he would be exhausted.
"I'm drained so I'll go to sleep soon", Marco said.
"I'll come with you Marco", Moon replied.
The two bid everyone a good night before leaving. While they were walking Moon's thoughts drifted back to the Blood Moon. She recalled the supposed powers of the Blood Moon she had read in the deep archives. She remembered several powers that could be helpful in fights, and she was eager to learn them. She was especially curious about the telepathic communication power. That could wait another day as Marco was tired. Even though Moon wasn't that tired, she could still use a good shower to clean the dirt on her.
They reached Marco's room after an uneventful walk, but even the short walk had drained Marco. Marco said tiredly, " I'll brush my teeth."
Moon silently followed Marco for she could tell that Marco was not in a state to talk to. Instead she was thinking about today's events. The tomb that they entered confirmed that Vega was indeed alive. The site looked well preserved, and the only person wielding a lightsaber was Vega. Moon wondered if Vega could still be alive today. It was unlikely but if Vega managed to survive decades after her so called death, then it was a possibility. But what about the specters? Was someone waiting for them? Moon wasn't sure, but she couldn't remove that possibility.
Soon Marco was finished and fell onto his bed, fast asleep. Moon giggled at seeing Marco asleep, and she thought he looked cute when asleep. She took a quick shower to clean the dirt on her. When she was done, she changed into her nightgown and went to bed. Moon tucked Marco into bed and gave him a quick kiss onto his forehead.
"Good night Marco."
When she fell asleep he Blood Moon glowed, giving them its blessing.
Next Day
Marco woke up, feeling cramps everywhere. 'Why do I feel so terrible?' Marco thought. Then he remembered the adventure from yesterday. 'If each adventure ends up with action, then I should start bringing armor' Marco thought dryly. Marco felt blankets on him, and he didn't remember putting them on. Then he saw Moon laying next to him. He realized that Moon tucked him in. He grinned at how nice Moon was and thanked his lucky stars that he met her. Marco decided to wake up Moon by shaking her.
"Morning sleepy head!"
Moon grumbled at being woke up early."I'm up!"
Moon was in a foul mood at being woke up early, and she usually would be in a foul mood for the morning. That would be the case if she hadn't seen Marco. When she saw Marco, she gave Marco a playful punch and giggled. Moon couldn't be mad at the cute boy in front of her.
"Morning Marco."
Moon let out a yawn and stretched her body. Moon then could smell a foul stench coming from Marco and remembered he hadn't taken a shower yet. She scrunched her nose and tapped on Marco's shoulder. Then she pointed to the shower. Marco at first didn't know what she meant until he got a good whiff of his armpit. Marco visibly groaned and gagged at his armpit. Marco got out of the bed and stumbled around the room to get to the bathroom. Moon could hear Marco tumbling into the shower and if she had to guess, it was from the smell. Moon got up and dressed into one of her dresses. Moon pondered at what Blood Moon power she would try to learn. Moon then decided to try and master telepathic communication today as it sounded the simplest. It shouldn't be that hard right?
Marco stepped out of the shower, refreshed. He felt most of his aches now gone with renewed energy. He had just brushed his teeth and was ready to get breakfast. Moon jumped from the bed and joined Marco by the entrance. While they walked Marco wondered what Moon had planned today. Judging from what she said yesterday it was likely Moon wanted to relax for a few days. He needed a few days of no craziness after the near death experience. Marco planned to mend his friendship with Star and perhaps they can be best friends again.
Moon meanwhile was pouring her willpower in trying to communicate with Marco, but failing. She did not expect a simple ability to be so hard to master. She even tried to apply magic but nothing worked. She was about to give up when she remembered that the Blood Moon was not about willpower, but love. Then she tried a different tactic and instead used her emotions. She used her emotions for Marco to communicate with him but to no avail. Moon however was undeterred and tried again. She thought of her love for Marco and concentrated even harder, This time she felt a tingling sensation in her mind, as i something were in it. She kept at it and eventually she felt the tingling sensation become a comforting presence. She spoke in her mind 'Marco', not thinking it would really work.
Marco. Wait what? Marco had thought he heard Moon's voice in his head. Marco shook his head, probably his mind playing tricks on him. Marco was about to ignore the voice when her voice appeared again. Can you hear me Marco? 'What!?' Marco thought, confused.
"Moon did you communicate with me through my mind?", Marco asked in confusion.
"Oh my gosh, it worked! I can now telepathically communicate with you now!", Moon shouted with glee.
Marco was now utterly confused. "Wait how can you communicate with me?"
"In the archives a book described Blood Moon powers, and l decided to try to communicate with you. And it worked!", Moon grinned.
"Wait can I do it also?"
"I think so try and do it yourself."
Marco tried to concentrate with Moon but when he tried to communicate with Moon, he didn't feel a response. He tried again, but he still didn't feel anything. Marco sighed in defeat for he just couldn't do it. Marco sighed, "Look Moon I can't do it. Only you can because you can use magic."
"Nonsense! You can do it. You need to use your emotions for me, not just willpower."
Marco decided to give it another go with Moon's encouragement. He thought about how amazing Moon was and how he loved her. Slowly he could feel something brushing against his head. Taking the feeling as success, he increased his emotions to increase the bond. He did it until he could feel a familiar comforting presence in his mind. Confident that the presence was Moon, he said a simple message. Moon.
'Wow he did it!' Moon thought giddy. Moon was proud that Marco got up again and tried again. She wondered what other powers could be unlocked through the Blood Moon. Hello handsome. Moon could see Marco blushing at her comment. And you too beautiful. Moon giggled and gave Marco a quick hug. She felt like the luckiest person ever for not only meeting Marco but also have the Blood Moon choose them.
"This is wonderful! Now we can have private conversations so no one can hear us", Marco spoke.
"Now we can talk to each other when we're in meetings!"
'She has the right idea' Marco thought. What do you want to do today Moon? Marco saw Moon scrunch her face up in contemplation. Then she gave out her response to Marco. You choose. I already chose yesterday. The day belongs to you Marco. What did he want to do? Marco had originally planned to see what Star was doing today and hoping that he could mend their relationship. At the same time he wanted to investigate the Blood Moon powers. Who knew what secrets were waiting to be found? Marco then decided to do research tomorrow and have fun today. How about we spend some time with Star? Moon chuckled before answering. Of course Marco. In fact I wanted to spend some time with Star. Marco was glad that Moon had agreed with him, but he was unsure how Star would react.
They entered the dining room shortly and saw Star and Tom waiting for them. Moon and Marco waved at their waiting friends. Star and Tom smiled and waved back. Moon and Marco also noticed Queen Moon and River eating at the table.
"Hello Marco and my younger self", Queen Moon greeted the newcomers.
"We were waiting for you. Couldn't eat without you guys", Tom said.
"Yeah we have an exciting day planned out!", Star yelled.
"I'm sure you do", Marco chuckled.
Marco grabbed a bowl of Sugar Seeds, and Star got the same thing. Moon decided to get try out the cereal that Marco had. Moon doubted that the cereal was sweet enough, but it didn't hurt to try. Moon took a bite from the cereal and was surprised at how sweet it was. It was far sweeter than Moon had imagined. After all Marco didn't seem to be the type of person who enjoyed sugar. But it was still a bit lacking. Luckily Moon always carried a few pouches of sugar on her at all time. Moon poured four packets of one gallon sugar into the bowl. Then she poured some milk into her bowl. Everyone, even Star, eyes bulged at the insane amount of sugar she ate. Was she always like this? Everyone was just waiting for Moon to become sugar drunk, and they were preparing to restrain her.
To everyone's surprise Moon didn't succumb to sugar drunkenness. They had thought that Moon couldn't handle the sugar, but they were wrong. Moon ate through the massive bowl of cereal in six minutes. Everyone just had their mouths open. Not even Star could eat this much sugar without getting at least a sugar rush, but Moon didn't seem fazed. When she finished, she stared at the group with an awkward look.
"What?"
Marco stuttered out, " Do you always eat this much sugar? "
Moon let out an annoyed look. "Yes what's the problem?"
" The problem is that you are so much sugar that Star would get sugar high! I don't like sugar too! ", Queen Moon yelled.
Moon was bewildered at how any version of herself would despise sugar. Moon felt bad for her elder self as her elder self was missing out. Sugar got Moon through some tough situations, and she wondered if Queen Moon needed some sugar. Moon then grabbed a packet of sugar and levitated it to Queen Moon.
" Since you don't enjoy sugar why not try some? ", Moon looked at Queen Moon with an innocent smile.
" No! ", Queen Moon groaned. 'How could any version of me be so carefree?' Queen Moon inwardly frowned.
" Moonpie, I'm sure some sugar will do you some good", River said before getting a withering glare from Queen Moon. Both Moons can be scary when they wanted to be.
" Your loss", Moon shrugged before levitating her sugar back.
Moon turned back to Star to ask Star what the plan was for today. "So what's the plan today."
Star blinked a few times to come to her senses. "Uh right! Me and Tom want to go to the Corn Festival today. Would you want to come too?"
" Wait the Corn Festival is today?", Marco blurted out. He had known that there was a festival dedicated to the harvesting of corn, but he wasn't sure if the date. He knew that the date was sometime in the fall, but today?
"Yes it's today. I'm surprised you didn't notice the decorations and fliers for the festival."
Marco rubbed his head, embarrassed. How had he not notice the fliers? He thought they were for something else. It didn't help that he was gone for the majority of the week."We would love to come with you, right Moon? "
" Of course we would love to go to the Corn Festival! "
"Then what are we waiting for?!" , Star shouted.
Star dragged poor Tom to the door and opened a portal to the festival. Marco and Moon looked on with amusement. Marco bowed his head to Moon and grabbed her hand. Moon giggled at Marco's display of manners. What Marco didn't see was River cracking his knuckles, and he was about to tackle Marco for wooing Moon. River was stopped by Queen Moon, and she literally had to restrain River from pounding on Marco. Fortunately for the teenagers, they didn't see River's anger.
When Moon stopped outside of the portal, she saw a massive festival that was dedicated for corn. Almost all the food had some corn on it. There was merchandise of corn everywhere. There were corn cob jackets, corn shirts, and corn shoes. There were also many booths with trinkets and souvenirs. No doubt most of the items sold in the booths were of poor quality. Then she spotted Star already heading to a booth to try to win a prize. Moon knew from experience that the games were rigged so it was almost impossible to win a prize. Moon could soon hear the sound of someone stepping out of a portal, and she knew it was Marco. Moon turned to see Marco stepping out of the portal. She waved at Marco and have him a hug. "Ready to have some fun?"
" You bet it Moon. "
Marco wandered around the festival, always near Star. Moon held hands with Marco as he walked. Marco could hear Star's groans of frustration and when he looked back, he could see Star making an impressive hole into a booth. He went to a few booths to see what they had. Each booth had items that were highly disturbing, and he didn't want to buy a single item from the vendors. Marco was around an arena when Moon pulled him. Moon looked like she was about to jump from excitement. Moon pointed into the arena and looked at Marco with puppy eyes.
"Can we please go into the arena?"
" What's in the arena? ", Marco asked suspiciously.
" It's just a game of mud rats. They unleash some mud rats and you just have to get them. It was one of my favorite games. "
"Are they dangerous rats?"
" Oh they're pretty small. "
"Ok Moon we'll play some mud rats."
They entered into the arena, and Marco had no idea what her term for 'small' is. They ordered a go at mud rats and the ticket person said, "Play at your own risk." They were immediately put into a moderately sized arena with muddy floors. Around them were people watching the two with great interest. Moon could hear a low rumble coming from a door of the arena, and she knew the mud rats have come. The door opened, and sixteen mud rats were released from their holding cages. Marco gaped at how large the mud rats were. 4 feet long was not small! Marco glared at Moon, but she just had an innocent smirk on her face.
"4 feet is not small!" , Marco roared.
"It's pretty small, compared to monsters", Moon said slyly.
" Well are they dangerous? "
"They maul at least a few dozen farmers a year in my Mewni and usually fatally."
" Moon! "
Marco had no time to dwell on Moon's trickery for the mud rats were barreling right towards them. Marco had no idea how true his words about bringing armor was. Marco had to do a upper kick to a mud rat to avoid being mauled. The rat looked back at Marco with an enraged look and began to charge at him. The audience was meanwhile cheering the two along. As if things couldn't get worst, there were a lack of mud rats coming at him. Marco duck! Marco immediately ducked at hearing Moon's warning and was rewarded by a magical blast that blasted the rats. Marco looked at Moon and saw that she was having the time of her life. Marco had no idea how she found pleasure in blasting rats, but he knew he had to survive.
Marco blocked the attack of a rat and returns the favor by punching it in the face. The rat fell down, dazed from the attack. Marco had no time to celebrate his victory as two rats approached him. Marco through a kick at the leading rat to distract the rat, I'll finish it off. Marco nodded his head in agreement. Ok Moon, ready? Marco kicked the leading rat square in the face, stunning it. Ready! Moon let out a purple fist punch at the rat, and the lead rat crashed into the other rat. Both rats collapsed into the ground. They could see the audience throwing down corn for the two, as if they needed it.
The other rats looked intimidated and tried to rush the two. Marco was terrified at the stampede in front them of them. Marco I'll do a stasis field to stun the rats. You'll take them out while I stun them. Marco raised his eye at this. Wait you can stun enemies? It would of been useful in the tomb. Moon groaned as she responded. You know I can't do it with spirits. Just get ready. Marco decided to stop arguing with Moon and do what she said. He waited for a few seconds until the rats were only a few feet away from the two.
Now! Moon unleashed a stasis field upon the rats, and it had the desired effects. Th rats froze while moving. A few days tried to move, but found that they can't move against the invisible force. Marco gave each of the rats a quick series of kicks and punches to their face. The data collapsed under the punishment, and they were knocked unconscious. After the two had defeated all the mud rats, the audience cheered. They showered the two with corn. The two quickly went for the exit, fortunate to not of been injured.
Marco have Moon an exasperated with and yelled, "Next time you say small, you mean big!"
" I'm sorry it's just that mud rats are considered relatively small on my Mewni. "
"Can we please do something normal today?"
" Alright, but only after some food. "
Marco then decided to get Moon some corn dogs with corn syrups in them as he knew Moon loved sweets. He liked corn dogs, and they tasted better with syrup surprisingly. Marco ordered two corn dogs with syrup, one for each of them. While they were waiting for the Corn dogs, the two of them was Tom and Star coming towards them. Star was hugging a huge stuffed animals. She was happy while Tom had an amused look on his face.
"Look at the stuffed animal I got!" , Star squealed.
"How did you get it Star?" , Marco asked.
"I just scammed a scammer out of the stuffed animal."
" Not even going to ask how you scammed a scammer", Moon said.
The four shared a good laugh at Star's short summary. Then the corn dogs were ready, and Moon grabbed one hungrily. She literally grabbed the nearest syrup dispenser and poured down three gallon of syrup while using her magic to keep the magic in place. Marco shrugged and munched on his own corn dog. Then Star, Tom, and Marco spotted something on the label of the discarded dispenser that caused their bloods to turn fold. On it said 'Super Concentrated Syrup! 300% More Sugar!' Marco turned to Moon and yelled, " Moon don't eat the corn dog!"
It was already too late as Moon had just finished all of her corn dog in a few giant bites. For a minute everything seemed to be normal, and the three let out a sigh of relief. That was before Moon started to shake, and her pupils expanded. The three immediately tried to tackle Moon, but she let out a pulse of magic to knock them back. Moon then screamed manically, " Sugar!"
Star, Tom, and Marco all exchanged glances before groaning, "Not again!"
Welp that's the end of the story! Sorry for the late update, but I'll bring in another chapter! I'm home now, and I should be able to write more now. I also updated a few chapters for grammar errors, and chapter 6 and 7 for better flow. Please let me know how I did. Until next time, Peace!
