With the reboot of "Animaniacs" now out, I thought I would take a short break from the Sonic Boom stories and focus a little bit on Yakko, Wakko, and Dot. This is, by the way, my first "Animaniacs" fanfic, so please don't judge me…

Animaniacs.

Wakko's Sick Day.

The Water Tower. The famous Warner Bros. tower that the Warner siblings called their home. The Warner siblings, the oldest one being a puppy-looking cartoon character with light brown pants, he was around 14, his name was Yakko Warner. The next Warner was a middle-aged child, who wore a blue-colored turtleneck and a red-colored baseball cap, the kid was at least 11-years old, and his name was Wakko. And the final Warner was a girl who was at least 10-years-old with her ears tied up with a yellow-colored flower, and she also wore a pink-colored skirt. Her name- Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fanna Bo Besca III. But she was usually called Dot for short, but you called her "Dottie", and you usually got whacked on the head with her big mallet. The three of them would everyday go around the Warner Bros. parking lot and would usually "terrorize" the studio lot staff, including Ralph T. Guard. Occasionally, the siblings would "torment" the new CEO of the Warner Bros. studio, Nora Rita Norita. But today wasn't like that, the Warners had not even left the tower, earlier that morning, Wakko was not feeling well, even to the point that he was confined to his bed by Yakko, Dot checked him for any signs of the occasional flu, the middle sib had a mild fever, a sore throat, and occasionally sneezed, let alone, Wakko fell down quite a few times that morning.

And what was more concerning to Yakko and Dot was that Wakko didn't seem to want to eat anything for breakfast that morning also, considering that every time he would try to swallow any food, it stung his throat, then it happened, the boy threw up onto the table, Yakko immediately got his baby brother to the bathroom where Wakko spent the next five minutes throwing up into the toilet. Afterwards, both the older and younger siblings got on to him about getting some rest, Wakko seemed to not want to, but thanks to Dot doing her signature "Cute' face, the younger Warner brother gave in to their pleas. Currently, Wakko was resting while Dot was dabbing his forehead with a damp washcloth, Yakko had gone to the local drug store in Burbank to get some medicine for his younger brother. It had been at least twenty minutes since Yakko left for the medicine, and now, Wakko was moaning in his sleep, which gravely concerned Dot. Suddenly, her brother's eyes flickered, he tried to speak at first but Dot stopped him when she gently put a finger to his lips. Wakko looked around his room, he closed his eyes for a moment, then he barely reopened them. He tried to speak again but nothing came out of his mouth.

"What?" Dot asked, noticing her brother trying to speak.

Wakko's voice was barely a raspy whisper. "Water."

Dot left the room for a moment, then came back with a glass of water in one hand, and in the other hand, she carried two ibuprofen. Dot then helped Wakko with his consuming the water, he coughed a couple of times, then she gave him the pills for him to take.

"It's ibuprofen," Dot said, "it'll help your fever."

Wakko nodded his head and placed the pills in his mouth along with some water, afterwards, he tried to sit up on his bed but found out that he couldn't. Dot then placed an arm across Wakko's forehead, a moment later, she took it off the boy's head. She then left the room again, about a minute later, she was back and with a thermometer in her left hand.

"Say 'ah' for me." Dot said.

Wakko slowly opened his mouth so that his sister could place the device in it. About thirty seconds later, the thermometer beeped, indicating that it had read Wakko's temperature. Dot a look at the screen on the device. It read that his temperature was 102.4 degrees.

"Sheesh Wakko, how did you get a fever this high?" Dot asked, obviously now worried about her secondary big brother.

"Don't know…(cough)... could've been anything." Wakko replied, his thick Scouser voice hoarse.

"No offense...but your voice sounds horrible, try to get some more rest." Dot said.

"None taken…." Wakko whispered softly. Dot then placed a wet washcloth on her brother's forehead, then she gently placed his signature red hat backwards on his head, mainly to help keep the rag on his forehead, she always thought that Wakko looked adorable with his hat on, even when he slept. Dot was about to leave her brother's room when she heard him barely speak.

"D..Dot?" Wakko whispered.

"Yes?" Dot said, her answer more like a question.

"My head hurts... really bad." Wakko whined.

"It's just a migraine, just close your eyes Wakko, I promise, you're feel better when you wake up in an hour or so."

Dot suddenly heard sniffling and whimpering come from him, she turned herself around and saw that Wakko had tears trickling down his face, she immediately walked back to the side of his bed and placed a hand in his. Wakko continued whimpering.

"Shh Wakko, you're okay, just close your eyes and think happy thoughts." Dot whispered.

Through the whimpering, Wakko managed to speak. "My head…"

Wakko tried to close his eyes, but when he did, it only intensified the pain that was shooting through his head. Suddenly he started crying louder than he did a minute ago, Dot suddenly felt really bad for her brother.

"Wakko, you're okay, I'm right here, it's gonna be okay... I know." Dot said. She then placed her head on the pillow next to Wakko's head, she gently placed a finger on his lips, and with her other hand, she took Wakko's hand and gently squeezed it. About a minute or so later, the boy finally stopped crying, but about every other moment, he would still whimper. Afterwards, Wakko slowly lifted his head off of the pillow.

"Whoa Wakko, you can't just get out of bed, what are you trying to do?" Dot said.

Wakko turned his head towards her slightly and weakly smiled. "Don't... don't... don't know."

The lad then closed his eyes, straightened his head and slowly laid it back down on the pillow, with a little help from Dot. Wakko smiled weakly when Dot gently placed a kiss on his face. His breathing was a little labored, but not too much. His chest slowly rose and fell each time he breathed deeply. Suddenly, the two siblings heard the water tower door open and close gently.

'Whew, at least Yakko's back.' Dot thought as she left the room, taking one look at Wakko, she smiled, Wakko's eyes were closed, indicating that he was sleeping. She then left to join Yakko in the living room.

An hour later...

Dot finally had time to rest while Yakko kept an eye on their brother, the two of them each took turns taking care of Wakko. The middle sib's condition hadn't really changed within the last hour, since he came home, Yakko had been the one to take care of Wakko while Dot rested, the older Warner couldn't give his little brother the medicine he needed when he first got back, Wakko had already fallen asleep. And now, Yakko was waiting for Wakko to wake back up. Yakko placed a comforting hand on his forehead, it was still burning, but not as much as earlier, Yakko felt bad that Wakko wasn't feeling well. The kid's tongue hung out the side of his mouth, sweat drenched his face and forehead, Yakko then placed his hand on his brother's chest, just to feel his heartbeat.

'Come on Wakko, you gotta get to feeling better soon.' Yakko thought.

Yakko then placed his hand on the boy's shoulder and began rubbing it gently and softly. About a minute later, Wakko stirred, Yakko looked up at his brother, seeing that Wakko was somewhat awake, and without much pain brought relief to him. Wakko coughed for a few seconds, then the kid slowly opened his eyes. Wakko's voice sounded wheezy when he tried to speak.

"Wak, it's okay," Yakko said, "plus, I'm the one who's supposed to do all the talking."

Wakko closed his eyes and smiled weakly. He placed a hand across his stomach and took a deep breath.

Wakko barely opened up one eye and looked straight at his oldest brother. "So… hungry…"

Yakko smiled. "It's about time that you would be." He ran his hand through Wakko's tuft of hair, causing the younger of the Warner brothers to smile. Yakko then left his brother's room to prepare his baby brother a bowl of chicken soup. Dot had just woken up about ten minutes ago from her nap and now, she joined her oldest brother in the kitchen. Seeing what he was up to, Dot smiled, she immediately knew right away that Wakko was awake, she went to his room. Immediately after she walked in, Dot saw that Wakko was awake, she took a seat and placed a comforting hand on her immediate brother's forehead, Wakko's eyes flickered as he smiled. Once his eyes reopened fully, Wakko placed his hand in Dot's.

"Hey Wakko," Dot spoke softly, "how are you feeling?"

Wakko closed his eyes halfway and smiled weakly. "...Tired, worn… and…(cough)... just... just...a little cold."

Dot fluffed Wakko's pillow in an attempt to make him feel more comfortable. The kid took a deep breath and then tried to sit up on his bed but couldn't.

"Dot…?" Wakko whispered.

"Yes?" Dot asked.

"I feel bored… could you… please… sing me a song…?"

"Are you sure that you're up to it?" Dot said.

Wakko smiled as for a response.

Dot then grabbed her phone and after going into the music app, tapped on a song that both her and Wakko had recently liked. As the song began playing, she took a sip of water from a bottle that she had brought in with her. As the singer on the song began singing the first line, Dot joined along, making Wakko smile.

Oh I try to fix your heart

But I leave with broken parts

Like a criminal would

I try to cover you with love

But the damage has been done

Will I ever be enough?

If I could take us far from here

Make the trouble disappear

You know that I would

If I could make the burden light

Put the stars back in your eyes

I wish that I could

Tell me, it's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

Is it gonna get better?

Tell me it's gonna get better

Tell me it's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

Cause it's gotta get better

Will it always be this hard

Like we're driving through the fog

Waiting for the sun

One day we'll watch it burn away

We'll be amazed we chose to stay

I pray that we would

Tell me, it's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

Is it gonna get better?

Tell me it's gonna get better

Tell me it's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

It's gotta get better

It may never be easy

But it gets better believe me

It may never be easy

So tell me now

You'll never leave me

It's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

It's gonna get better

Tell me, it's gonna get better

(Will it always be this hard)

It's gonna get better

(Like we're driving through the fog)

It's gonna get better

(Waiting for the sun)

Is it gonna get better?

Tell me it's gonna get better

(One day we'll watch it burn away)

Tell me it's gonna get better

(We'll be amazed we chose to stay)

It's gonna get better

(I pray that we would)

It's gotta get better

As the song ended, Dot gently grasped Wakko's hand and smiled.

"I hope that made you feel better." Dot said.

Wakko smiled, a tear escaping one eye and trickling down the left side of his face.

"Well done sis," someone said.

Dot then turned her head towards the doorway, only to see that Yakko was there, and with a bowl of soup in his hands.

"Don't worry, I heard you loud and clear," Yakko said smiling, "I think you made his day."

Suddenly, Wakko started tossing his head on the pillow rather fast and started moaning.

"Wakko!?" Dot exclaimed. Yakko placed the soup on Wakko's nightstand and placed a hand on his brother's forehead. Wakko continued on rolling his head on the pillow. Dot gently placed both of her hands on Wakko's head and stopped his tossing and turning.

"Wakko! You're okay!?" Yakko asked concerned about his baby brother's sudden health condition.

Wakko opened his eyes halfway and looked straight into Yakko's, his breathing was raspy and sounded phlegmy. Yakko immediately placed a hand on his forehead, after a few seconds, the older Warner immediately took it off.

"He's burning up again." Yakko said.

Dot immediately jumped out of her seat and rushed into the bathroom and soon came back with a metal bowl and a red-colored washcloth and began dabbing Wakko's forehead. The middle Warner began whimpering softly, tears streaming down his face.

"Wakko, it's okay… you're gonna be fine…" Yakko said softly, "trust me."

Wakko suddenly inhaled sharply, his little body tensing. Both Yakko and Dot perked up, expecting their middle brother to relax, but when that didn't happen, the two of them grew very concerned about his condition, especially when both didn't see Wakko's abdomen fall back down.

"Wakko? Wak? Wakko?" Dot asked her immediate brother, on the verge of tears.

"Wakko?... you're okay Wak?" Yakko asked, also on the verge of tears.

Wakko didn't respond.

"No...no… Wakko Ryan Warner! Don't leave us!" Dot cried, tears streaming down her face.

As if he heard her, Wakko finally relaxed and breathed out.

"Whew! Wak's gonna be fine." Yakko said softly.

Wakko opened his eyes barely and smiled weakly. "So….. sorry… didn't mean…(cough)... to…(cough)...(cough)...scare you…"

"Wakko Ryan Warner!" Yakko said, "don't ever do that again! You hear me!? You scared the tarnation out of both Dot and I! Sheesh!"

"Ow… my head…" Wakko whispered softly, closing his eyes.

Three hours later...

Sitting in your brother's room and having fun was one thing, but when you sat in there to keep an eye on him while he's sick was another thing. And that's exactly what Dot found herself doing, again, keeping an eye on her brother, Wakko. Wakko had fallen asleep three hours ago and had not woke up since then, he had ate a bowl of soup that Yakko made before falling back asleep. And now, Dot found herself rubbing her brother's hand gently and softly speaking to him as if he were still awake. Yakko had left again to get some groceries and more medicine, leaving Dot to comfort Wakko. Currently, her head was on the pillow next to his head, softly singing in a whisper-like voice. Ever since Wakko took some medicine, his breathing was better, and his fever was a little bit better, but still not great. Dot lifted her head off the pillow and placed a hand on his forehead, then took it off and placed the thermometer in his mouth gently, a few seconds later, it beeped, she then looked at the numbers on the miniature screen on the device, reading that his temperature was 100.2 degrees. Dot smiled when she saw the screen, at least, her brother's health was somewhat improving. But then, her smile grew a little wider when she saw Wakko stir a little. His eyes flickered, indicating that he was trying to wake up. After a few seconds, Wakko opened his eyes halfway, turning his head and looking straight at Dot.

"What time is it?" Wakko said, his voice barely audible.

Dot looked up at the little clock on Wakko's bedroom wall. "Six after four."

Wakko straightened his head on the pillow and closed his eyes.

"You're okay Wakko?" Dot whispered.

Wakko didn't respond.

"Wakko?"

Wakko placed his left hand across his stomach and with his right hand, he placed it in Dot's hand, squeezing it gently.

"Wakko? You're alright?" Dot asked.

Wakko reopened his eyes somewhat. "No… not….real... really."

"Sore throat?" Dot asked.

Wakko squeezed her hand a little firmer. "...yes...a…... little….. painful and….. and…"

The middle kid lifted his head off the pillow and looked towards the doorway.

"... where's…..Ya….Yak…... Yakko?..."

"He's at the grocery store now, getting the few things we need for dinner…. and he's gettin' you more medicine." Dot whispered softly.

Wakko tried to put his head back down on the pillow, but with pain shooting through his neck, he moaned softly, Dot helped him by placing her free hand under his head.

"It's okay Wakko." Dot whispered softly, comforting him as she gently rubbed his head in a sisterly way. Wakko closed his eyes and smiled once he felt his head hit the pillow.

"Dot…?" Wakko whispered.

"Yeah?" Dot softly whispered.

Wakko smiled weakly. "Love…... you…..so…. much... baby…..sis…."

At this point, Dot was moved to tears. Placing her head next to Wakko's, she gently placed a sisterly kiss on his face.

"Love you too, big bro."

Wakko barely opened up his eyes. "...are….you…...cry….. crying….?..."

"Through the tears, Dot managed to smile. "How'd you know?"

Wakko looked at her and placed a hand on her face. "It's a big brother's job to….know, …..(cough)... considering…..that I…... felt a….. tear…... teardrop hi…..hit…...my…. face….."

"I'm sorry," Dot whispered.

Wakko smiled. "Nah…. love you."

"Hey," Dot whispered softly, "I've got another song I wanna sing to you."

"Yeah…..?" Wakko whispered.

"It's one of your faves…." Dot said.

Wakko snickered.

"Well, how 'bout it?" Dot whispered.

Wakko closed his eyes and gently rubbed her face in a brotherly like way. Dot leaned her head closer to Wakko's and began softly singing to him, getting a smile from the middle Warner sibling.

When the shadow won't leave

When the battle won't stop

And every breathe that you breathe

Takes all that you've got

When you wonder if you're always

Gonna feel this way

Hear the Lord of heaven say...

I will hold you when you're breaking

Like a father and a friend

And I will carry you through darkness

Till we see the sun again

So rest your head and cry your tears

Know that I am with you here

When you can't lift that weight

Believe me when I say...

I Will

Oooh...

I know you're feeling overwhelmed

Before the day even begins

But I can see beyond the now

This is not how your story ends

And when you're at your weakest

Oh I've never been more strong

So let me be the one you're leaning on...

I will hold you when you're breaking

Like a father and a friend

I will carry you through darkness

Till we see the sun again

So rest your head and cry your tears

Know that I am with you here

When you can't lift that weight

Believe me when I say...

I Will (oooh...)

I Will

I will dry your eyes

I will calm your fears

I will show you how you're beautiful

Beautiful!

I will walk with you on the raging sea

And I will never leave...

I will hold you when you're breaking

Like a father and a friend

I will carry you through darkness

Till we see the sun again

So rest your head and cry your tears

Know that I'm with you here

When you can't lift that weight

Believe me when I say...

I will

Oooh...

Oh, I will

Oooh...

When there's a door that you can't open

When there's a war that you can't win

I will

I will

I will

Wakko was in tears as Dot got done singing the song. He loved it, and the band that sung it, but he actually loved it when his baby sister sung it, her voice was just perfect. He smiled as he lifted his head off the pillow and gently placed a kiss on Dot's face.

"How'd…. you….. know…." Wakko whispered through labored breathing.

Dot smiled. "I heard you sing it to yourself alot recently."

Suddenly, the tower door swung open and shut as someone entered in. The air reached both Dot and Wakko, causing both of them to smile.

"I'm back!" Yakko yelled excitingly.

Three more hours later...

Yakko and Dot were actually glad that for once that they were able to leave Wakko to rest after giving him more cold medicine. Currently, the two siblings were eating dinner at the table in the dining room, they didn't say much about anything except for the fact that both of them were concerned about Wakko. Yakko had took over watching him once he got back home while Dot quickly put dinner in the oven, Wakko had complained of having a horrible migraine, of which the migraine caused him to cry and whimper, Yakko immediately started to comfort him by singing him a song or two, after a while, Wakko finally was resting, and now, both Yakko and Dot were eating dinner mostly in silence. The only Warner girl finally broke the silence after about five minutes.

"Yakko, you usually talk about random things at the dinner table." Dot said.

"And what's your point?" Yakko asked.

"My point is… what's up with you being silent tonight?" Dot asked.

Yakko thought about Dot's question for a moment. Heck, his youngest sibling had a good point; he did usually talk a lot at the dinner table, but that was only because of Wakko, usually when they sat down at the dinner table and ate whatever meal they fixed, Wakko would always tell him and Dot a couple of jokes, of which would then turn into the three of them talking about old times, and about the current situations at bay these days. But tonight was actually unusual, just the two of them sitting at the dinner table talking about nothing really except for Wakko's current situation.

"Maybe, it's just because… uhhhhh….." Yakko was at a loss for words.

"Just because….. of Wakko?" Dot said softly.

Truth be told, that was the case. Yakko liked it when their middle brother sat and ate with them every night, he would get them laughing about some of the things they did back in the day. And he also liked it when Wakko offered to help with the dishes after dinner, while Dot cleaned up the dining room, he and Wakko would have their 'Brotherly Alone Time'. Heck, just recently, Dot had seen them in the kitchen having one of their 'Brotherly Alone Time' moments, and so she asked them if she could take a picture of the two of them, they agreed. The picture had Yakko standing behind Wakko with the oldest brother's arms wrapped around the younger brother's chest, both were smiling in the picture, especially Wakko, he looked like he was about to laugh, considering that Yakko had his arms around his chest. Tonight however, that wasn't happening, having Wakko in bed most of the day just because the poor kid wasn't feeling well about made Yakko cry.

"Well… uhhhhhhhhh….yes…" Yakko said, his voice barely audible.

Dot looked at him for a moment, then looked back down at her food. "Yeah I know."

After a long suspenseful minute, Yakko was about to take another bite of his food when he and Dot heard Wakko cough a bit. Immediately, the two of them got up from the dinner table and rushed to his bedroom, once in there, Dot flipped the light switch on. Right away, they saw why Wakko was coughing, the kid had inhaled sharply and had started choking, but now he seemed to be okay, just with a little cough or two every few seconds. Dot and Yakko sat down on opposite sides of Wakko's bed and each placed their hands in Wakko's. The kid barely opened his eyes and stared up at the ceiling.

"S-sorry I interupted you all's dinner…" Wakko whispered, his voice sounded like it was actually improving.

"Hey," Yakko whispered, "don't feel bad, you're more important than dinner."

"Yeah Wakko," Dot said, placing a hand on his forehead, after a moment, a smile formed on her face.

"Uh… Wakko, how do you feel?" Dot asked, taking her hand off his forehead.

Wakko opened his eyes halfway and smiled. "A little bit more better than earlier, but not great."

Yakko wondered why Dot would ask how Wakko felt, especially with a smile on her face.

"Well… I got some good news." Dot said.

"And?" Yakko asked, wondering why Dot would just say something like that out of the blue.

"Well, Wakko… your fever's broke."

Wakko opened his eyes the rest of the way and smiled big, the boy looked like he was about to burst out laughing.

"How long until I'm back on my feet?" Wakko asked.

"Well I would say, tomorrow, but actually I would like for you to spend all day tomorrow resting mostly," Dot replied. "Maybe the day after tomorrow, if you take it lightly. You're still sick, but not as much as you were this morning."

Wakko closed his eyes and gave his siblings his usual goofy smile, his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

"That's the old Wakko!" Dot said excitingly.

Wakko smiled brightly. "I love you guys so much."

"Aww Wakko," Yakko said, "we love you too, I don't know what we would do without you."

Yakko and Dot both placed a kiss on their brother's forehead, making Wakko smile. The kid opened his eyes and glanced at his siblings for a moment, then he slowly closed his eyes back shut.

"Get some rest baby bro." Yakko whispered. "I love you."

"I love you Wakko." Dot whispered softly.

"Love you guys too." Wakko whispered.

Then his chest slowly rose and fell with each breath, indicating that he was resting.

The next day...

Early in the morning, Yakko had gotten up and had quietly left the water tower while Wakko and Dot were still sleeping. Yesterday hadn't been exactly a fun day, with his youngest brother sick, Yakko had felt bad for the little guy, after all, Wakko didn't deserve to get sick with the flu. But at least today, Yakko was going to make up by getting his baby brother his favorite meal, a ham and cheese club sandwich and some tomato soup from the local Italian restaurant in Burbank. Wakko had woke up in the middle of the night and had coughed violently, scaring Dot to the point that she thought she needed to call an ambulance, but the kid pulled through and now, this morning, he seemed to be okay. When Yakko had left a few minutes ago, Wakko was still sleeping, the kid had always slept like he was dead, and with him sick, Yakko had thought at first that his baby brother had died, then he saw Wakko's chest slowly rise and fall with a deep breath, indicating that he was still alive. The middle sibling's fever had broke last night, but still, Wakko still showed signs that he wasn't with it, physically. And now, after going to the Italian restaurant, Yakko found himself back at the water tower. Opening the door quietly, Yakko let himself in, hoping that Dot wasn't awake yet. But then, he saw that she wasn't in her bedroom, so putting the food down on the kitchen island, Yakko quietly walked over to Wakko's room, and sure enough, he saw his youngest sibling in the middle kid's room. And sure enough, Wakko was awake. The middle kid smiled as he saw Yakko standing in the doorway of his bedroom.

"Hey Yakko." Wakko said, his Scouse British voice still sounding like he still had a sore throat.

"Yakko?" Dot whispered. She then turned her head around and saw her oldest brother standing in the doorway.

"Yakko!" Dot shouted, obviously startled.

"Ow….Dot, my head…" Wakko whispered softly.

Dot looked back at her secondary big brother. "Oops."

Wakko closed his eyes and smiled.

"Hey Wak, I got you some food," Yakko said as he walked in the room. "It's your favorite."

Wakko immediately smiled big time, he attempted to sit on his bed, and sure enough, he actually managed to do so, catching Dot's attention.

"Hey 'Mr. Baton Rouge, Louisiana' Guy, take it easy." Dot demanded.

"I'm fine… really, I am." Wakko said, his voice barely audible.

"Oh yeah?" Dot asked. "Hence the reason why your voice sounds like you're about to lose it?"

"Dot, Dot, take it easy sister sibling." Yakko commanded.

"What do you mean 'take it easy'!?" Dot yelled.

Wakko immediately closed his eyes, as if he was immediately in pain.

"Dot…." Wakko growled.

"Hey," Yakko whispered, "you're going to give Wakko another migraine. Don't raise your voice."

"Sorry Wakko." Dot whispered.

Yakko looked at her. "What I meant by 'take it easy', was that you don't have to baby him."

"But I wasn't!"

Wakko squeezed his eyes shut. "Dot….."

Yakko looked at his baby sister. "You're yelling again."

Wakko opened one eye and gave her a tiring look.

"You really have to raise your voice every time you're mad, don't you?" Wakko whispered playfully.

Dot pretended to glared at him. "Oh some people."

Wakko smiled as he laid back down, letting his head hit the pillow.

"So Wakko, you wanna eat?" Yakko asked.

"Just the tomato soup. You and Dot can have the sandwich." Wakko whispered, sounding tired.

"Wakko Ryan," Dot said, "are you sure you feel-"

Wakko smiled. "Just split the sandwich."

Yakko couldn't help but smile, he genuinely felt like he was surrounded by the ones he loved, his younger siblings. Nothing could never separate the love they had for each other, no matter what happened. Yakko placed a hand on Wakko's forehead, the young kid immediately gave him and Dot his signature goofy smile as he closed his eyes to rest. Wakko knew that in the next couple of days, he would be back on his feet and running around the place with the two people in the whole world that he loved the most, just the thought of it made him smile more.
