Chapter 3

I did not go out last night with Adrian, much to his dismay, I now sit in my psych 101 class Christan sitting next to me taking notes, I'll have to remember to borrow his, I wasn't focusing all that much in this class today. I usually loved and pay attention in this class with Karp, she was a great teacher a little weird but that's what I liked about her. But today all I can think about was my break up with Jesse, I was not at all heartbroken about it but how my friends seemed like that the break up was the best thing in the world that could happen had me a little pissed off at them. How was a breakup with a guy that I have been with for almost 2 years a good thing. Christan than tapped my shoulder and handed me a note

Hey Rose

You good. I know that we were a bit happy about Jesse.

As we know I never did like Jesse but he was your boyfriendAnd I should be supportive and ask if you are good butHe was an ass to everyone including you so I'm not going to lieAnd say I'm sad that he is gone cause I'm not.But are you sad, I could not tell?

Well I knew that he never liked Jesse he said so on many occasions but him asking if I was ok with it all, I guess he does care. I respond to him

I'm good Chris. Just annoyed that everyone seems so dang happilyThat he is no longer around. Did everyone just dislike my boyfriend?And never told me, cause now I'm just pissed off.So no I'm not sad. I also want your notes for class

I handed the note back to Chris. He didn't respond to me in class, the rest of the class was boring and could not hold my interest. When class was dismissed Chris handed me his notebook.

"The notes for today. And yes Rose no one liked Jesse. He treated you like dirt. I could never see why you were with me, to begin with or why you stayed so long." Chris walked off without waiting for me to respond.

He was right Jesse did treat me poorly but he was never mean to me. I think he may have been cheating but I never confronted him about it.

When I made it back to my apartment that I shared with Lissa off campus it was empty. Lissa's class ended before mine so she must have gone to meet up with Christan. So I decided to get some of my homework out of the way.

An hour later, with very little work done, I distaste homework so I kept getting distorted by clothes shopping or listening to music I hear my apartment door open. Lissa must be home I guessed.

"Hey Little Flower, you here?" Adrian called out. I hate the nickname he gave me the first time we meet, I told him my name he came up with Little Flower in like 2 seconds and will only call me that, it's like he does not know my name at all.

"In my room Adrian," I called out, he walked into my room with a smile on his face which only told me that he did something. I hope it has nothing to do with me.

"So, since you and Jesse are done with, which is about time, he was never good enough for you, I may have done something good." he proclaimed his grin never leaving his face. It had something to do with me.

"My cousin lives in town and I set up a date for you with him." A date with his cousin like I need help getting a date.

"NO." I angrily told him. "Adrian I do not need help getting a date so no I'm not going at all." I huffed and I meant it I was not going on this date whatsoever.

"Come on you know ill win this. How about we make a deal. Go one this one date and if it does not go well at all I wont set you up on any more dates with anyone" Adrinan proposed. Ithought about it for a moment, he could win this by nagging me or bringing Lissa in to alos nag me. If I want on the date and it went well than Adrian would brag that he set us up but if it went badly than ill make sure that he kept his end of the deal up and never go another date again.

"Fine Adrian but im only doing this so you wont harass me about going out with someone. Who's your cousin? I did not evem know you had a cousin, let alone one in the area."

"Ya he isnt from around here, he moved here about a year ago i believe. I dont know much about him though." oh great going on date with a guy that even adrian doesnt know much about. Thats is going to end well.

"When is the date? I asked.

"Friday at 6pm, youll meet him at the restaurant, Francesco's Italian Restrant, Its fancy so were a dress. He said as he was walking out my room. I sat down back at my desk Iheard the front dorr close, Adrian had left the apartment. Friday i had a date after just getting out of a long term relationship. Maybe this can be something causal, go on a date, talk, I can do that, I can talk alot if i wanted to. I just relized that I did not get the guys name. Ill have to ask Adrian the next time I see him.

DPOV

I was sitting in my apartment about to go find some lunch when there was a knoke on my door. I Knew is wasnt Ivan He never knoks unless the door is locked and I know that it currently was unlocked. I wasnt expecting anyone else today, I opened the door to see Adrian on the other side, Ilet him in curious to what he could be doing here. I just meet him when I move eo America from Russia last year. I was curious about some of the family I knew i had here but I have only meet Adrian the rest of his family did not seem to want to know about the bastered son Adrian's uncle had so i wasnt going to reach out and try to contact them. Adrian was a nice enough guy, he had a bit of an ego about himself but other than that was a good guy.

"Hey Adrian, what bring s you here?

"There is this girl I know and I was wondering if you would like to go with her, She just broke up with her ass of a boyfriend, about time too, and I think she and you would get along." I interpreted him before he could continue

"No." i said, I had no interest in dating some girl that Adrian knew. He did not know about my domuntaing side and i was going to keep it that way. I was not interesting in going out with a girl who did not know already or was not in that lifestyle. I have tried that already and it does not end well.

"Come on, she is hot and smart, she has abit of an attuide but it does not come out unless you annoy her. Did i mention hot? She was in a bad relationship that she does not even see as a bad relationship, one date is all im asking, if she goes out and has a good time shell want to do it agin and she might releize how much of an ass Jesse was, her ex-boyfriend" he explianed. A date with a gril who cannt even see herself in a bad relationship, im really not interested "one date and i wont ask agin about another girl ever. Please."

"You should go on a date you have not done that in while Dimka, not since moving here." Ivan stated, he walked in the front door. He was right I havent really dated in a while.

"One date. Thats all im doing." I promised

"Good. take her to that Italian restaurant. Shell love it. Im going to go inform her about this date. Hopefully i can persuade her to go. She subbern and hardheadded. Adrian explained, of course he now has to set it with her.

"Ill meet her there at 6 friday. If that doesnt work fro her text me." Adrian nodded and walked out.

"Wait, whats her name?" Adrian didnt responded since he closed the door behind him. Guess ill find out later.

"Looks like you have a date Dimka." Ivan was grinning ear to ear.

"Guess so."

Ivan and I had leftover pizza for lunch. He cam over to chill and to do nothing on my couch compared to his couch. I worked out for a bit while he watched tv. After two hours i got a text from Adrian She's in, Friday at 6 at Francesco's Italian Restrant. I texted back thanking him for confirmation and asking him what her name was after a few minuted I gave up on his repondeing. Guess ill find out Friday.
