Rebekah and Elijah were talking in the study. Rebekah went to the bar and poured herself a drink.

"It's not too early for scotch, is it, with all the witchy shenanigans and subterfuge afoot?" she asked him.

"It is entirely too early if one intends to drive, yes," Elijah told her.

"Funny, I don't have any plans to go anywhere," Rebekah replied.

"She's not safe here. You have to take Katerina to the plantation house until this is over," Elijah decided.

"Are you worried about Katherine, or whether or not you can trust me?" she inquired.

"It's precisely because I trust you that I'm asking you to do this," Elijah said, trusting the fact that Rebekah wouldn't kill Katerina as long as Katerina was only human. He knew that Katerina could take care of herself sure, but it was still not safe for her while all of this was happening.

"Here's a novel idea—why don't you let Katherine decide for herself? Why are you dictating her fate?" Rebekah replied. She knew what it was like for someone else to be in control of what you wanted, instead of doing things that you wanted.

"You know why," Elijah reminded her.

"Then perhaps you should take her yourself," she replied.

"I can't legislate my feelings or actions. So, would you kindly do this for me?"

"You know the doppelganger loves to be told what to do," she said sarcastically. "She's not gonna like it. But I will do it for you, if only to end this silly quarrel."

Rebekah and Katherine were at the plantation house and were walking toward the front porch.

"I thought I was gonna have to drag you to the plantation kicking and screaming," Rebekah admitted.

"Yeah, well, we all just wanna protect me, right?"

Rebekah raised her eyebrows in disbelief. "Hey, I'm on your side, remember?"

"I know. I'm sorry. It's just, I've never seen Elijah like this, hiding me away some place just to try to keep me safe from everyone. For all we know, our enemies could be not too far from here," Katherine replied, before entering the plantation house with Rebekah.

Celeste in Sabine's body was walking down a street in the French Quarter, when she realized that she was being followed by Elijah. She turned around to face him.

"Elijah. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

"My family needs an ally among the witches, and you've helped us in the past. Perhaps together we can avoid an unnecessary conflict," he suggested.

"They may be willing to make a deal, if it were with the noble Elijah. But there will never be any peace as long as it involves Klaus," she answered him.

"Is that what all this is about? You want my brother out of town?" he inquired.

"I'm just telling you how they feel. My people are scared, they're desperate, but they're not dumb."

"Let's walk together. You can take me on one of your famous tours," he suggested.

Celeste in Sabine's body was still taking Elijah on a tour throughout the city.

"So, this next part of town is one of the few areas where any of the original French architecture remains. Most of the buildings were destroyed in the 1700s when the city burned for the first time." She noticed that Elijah hadn't said anything in a while. "Am I putting you to sleep?"

"As surprising as you might find this, it's not every day that someone asks you to betray your own brother... Celeste," he replied, finally letting her know that he knew exactly who she was.

"How did you know?" she questioned, not even remotely impressed.

"It matters not," he answered her, not wanting to reveal how he knew. "What does matter is that you have been playing a very long game, indeed. But to what end?"

Celeste stepped closer to Elijah and kissed him. When she pulled away, he quickly became dizzy and weakened.

"Oh, Elijah, my lost love... After all this time, don't you understand? I died because of Klaus. And even after all his vindictive lies about witches led to my death, you stood by him. All because of your vow. Always and forever."

Elijah became even weaker and struggled to stay on his feet.

"What have you done to me?"

"Oh, it's a simple enchantment. You needn't worry. I'm not here to kill you, Elijah, I'm here to teach you the error of your ways. Always and forever was the greatest mistake of your life."

"You poisoned me with a kiss. At least you haven't lost your sense of irony."

"We may have time for more. But first, I'm going to cure you of your greatest flaw. This absurd devotion to your lunatic family," she informed him.

"Your anger is with me. Now, if you have come here seeking revenge," he began, but she cut him off.

"Oh, I'll have my revenge. Starting with Klaus," she said, before telling him, "I'm going to let you decide which to save. You could save Klaus, but then that would leave Rebekah in peril. You could save her, but then that leaves Katherine in jeopardy. And you just got her back. How tragic."

"No. No, no...," Elijah said, panicked.

"Poor girl. She has no idea how dangerous it is to be loved by you. Oh well. With your body weakened by my spell, you won't be able to save them all. Who will it be? I can't wait to find out."

Klaus was walking through the French Quarter with a hand on a witch's arm.

"Witches of the French Quarter! What a shame it would be were I forced to kill this witch. Should you wish to prevent this, bring me the witch Bastianna!" Klaus announced. Klaus held the blade near the witch's throat, Celeste having abandoned it earlier on.

Bastianna came out of the shadows, a bunch of witches joining her.

"The very witch that I wish to see," Klaus stated.

"I'll take it from here," she told the other witches whom then obeyed, leaving to go back home.

Elijah was on the ground and trying to recover from the spell, when his phone buzzed. He answered it when he saw that it was Katerina.

"Katerina," he said.

"Elijah, something's going on with the witches," she informed him.

"Listen to me. Celeste is alive and she wants revenge. You're all in danger," he informed her. "Katerina, you have to find Rebekah. You stay with her until I get there," he said.

"Rebekah's with me, but it's a spell. They're trapping us inside," she informed him.

They soon hung up.

As Kat lay on the living room floor, having trouble breathing from the thick smoke that was all around them, she saw Rebekah start heading over to try and help her, but was stopped when she got shot from an arrow. That was the last thing she saw, before everything went black.

When Elijah finally arrived, he shattered the big glass window in the living room. He scanned the living room for Katerina, the fire almost everywhere now, parts of the house from the ceiling having collapsed to the floor and even more still collapsing.

He blurred over to her, when he finally spotted her on the floor, kneeling by her. Then he looked over at his sister whom had an arrow in her. He then looked down at Katerina.

"Katerina, can you hear me?" he called to her, knowing she was still alive, a hand on the side of her face. Then, when he didn't get anything, he blurred her outside and layed her down on the grass, before blurring back inside for Rebekah.

Bastianna was about to stab Klaus with Papa Tunde's blade, as she used magic to pin him against a wall, but then a stranger to her appeared. Klaus saw her, but she didn't know someone was approaching. And as the stranger approached, the stranger magically snapped her neck, killing her, which released Klaus from the magical hold.

"Well done, sister," Klaus praised. "Though, it took you long enough."

He picked up the blade, putting it inside his jacket.

"Well, we are a family. Family is supposed to be as one. You may not trust me yet, but I hope you will someday."

Elijah had Rebekah on her bed and was about to pull the arrow out, when he sensed a familiar presence, so he turned to see Katerina. She'd just woken up by the looks of it.

"Are you okay?" he asked her.

"It seems as though I am. You should wait until Freya gets home with Klaus. They're heading back now. I just got off the phone with her. Klaus is fine. She killed Bastianna. Now, the only witch threat we truly need to worry about is Celeste. That blade doesn't have enough power inside of it, yet she tried to get a witch to use it on an Original. Celeste has a plan in motion. It can't be good."

"Let's worry about Celeste later. Right now, I'm more concerned about Rebekah. Why should we wait? Did you see something?" he wanted to know.

"I saw her get hit, but I think we should wait just in case. This is Celeste pulling strings. I don't know who fired that arrow. It could be poison. If it is, you shouldn't be touching it. No one should," she replied. "You're right, though. Deal with your family today. Celeste can hopefully wait until tomorrow. Then, when we've all recovered, we'll take her on together."

After Klaus and Freya got home, Klaus went to his room, needing to think of what he was going to do. Elijah followed him though, making sure that Klaus didn't do anything on his own against Celeste, while Kat told Freya what had happened. Kat would rather work with Freya anyway. Klaus was an Elijah problem for the moment.

Once Kat pulled the arrow out magically, they realized that Kat had been right to have Elijah not touch the arrow at all, so Freya got to work on figuring out what was on the arrow, while Kat stayed at Rebekah's side, making sure she didn't actually die. Freya would've asked for Davina's help, but Davina needed a little time by herself after being resurrected.

After a while, they found a cure to the poison, saving Rebekah. Then, a few days later, with Sophie help with a spell that would make Celeste go into her own body, Celeste was put in her own body. The wolves then were cured of the curse that had been put on them, so Elijah killed Celeste at last, ending her plan for vengeance, considering Sophie had also made sure that Celeste couldn't body jump because of a spell Sophie did.

A month later, with Freya and Katherine's help, the wolves were all made Moonlight rings, helping them to control whether to turn or not. In the meantime, with Freya present, the Mikaelson family became more whole, Klaus learning to trust in Freya, rather than second guess her. And with Elijah's help, peace was restored between the factions, at last.
