Chapter 6! After a long-ish wait, here it is! Thanks again to RPM Shadow, Jaell, Seleine16, fitzclaire37, and CaptainSteve1 for reviewing.

CaptainSteve1: Thanks for the grammar suggestions, I'm glad you pointed it out. I will try to apply it! It really does make the writing flow easier! Welcome back! And, as a response to your review for The Figure of Lightning, (Thanks, btw) I do make my own cover images, I'm glad you like it. (I had some help with the Figure of Lightning one, though XD)

I'm also making Nadakhan a tad different in regards to his powers when hit by Tiger Widow venom. I'm sorry if this is annoying.

Jay felt weak, tired. As he looked around, all he saw was green. Green crystals, green air, green blobs in the distance.

What happened? He couldn't remember. But, boy, he felt tired. Hadn't he felt this tired once before? He didn't know. Something about this felt familiar.

One of the bigger blobs moved closer to him, and Jay saw a body. But, it was breathing? Was it okay?

Jay could see that the body looked like a male, and he was wearing red clothing and had brown hair. The Blue Ninja shook the person, who looked young, maybe about 15, trying to wake him up. It didn't work. All Jay's efforts proved useless, only making some crystal fall from his body. But, with some more of the guy being able to be seen, Jay noticed the Fire Ninja symbol on his suit. Was...was this Keith, the future Fire Ninja? What was he….doing….here…

Darkness began to enter Jay's vision, he was exhausted, all he wanted to do was sleep. In the back of his mind he remembered that he had to get back to someone, someone...important.

He decided he would have a small nap, and then deal with it. As Jay drifted off, he felt his limbs become heavy, and he accepted the darkness.

He hoped he wouldn't regret his decision later.

"Hey, Kai? Maya? Are you guys ready to see the security footage?" Nya asked, getting the two from outside. They had been sitting there for a while, Kai absolutely shocked by what happened, a horrified expression clearly on his face. Maya, on the other hand, looked saddened, tears slowly making their way down her cheeks. She quickly nodded, rubbed her sleeve on her face to get rid of the tears, and stood up. Kai joined her, and the two followed Nya into the control room, where everyone was waiting.

Cole seemed to take Jay's...defeat….really horribly. As Nya played the footage, Mo could hear the Master of Earth mutter to himself over and over. I should've helped him….I should've noticed...It's all my fault. Mo put a hand on his shoulder, providing comfort. Mo may not know exactly what to do, he may be inexperienced, but he knew how to help his team. They were his team.

It seemed like everyone took a deep breath as Jay entered the screen, holding a silver sword that the team had never seen before in a defensive position. Kai's eyes widened.

"That sword is made of the strongest metal in Ninjago, not even lava can damage it. I don't have any of it. Apparently, when it's covered by a liquid, it takes and sustains some of the liquid's characteristics. Like, if it was covered by lava, it would be super hot hours after it touched the lava."

"He's wearing a different suit, as well." Zane commented, gesturing to the black and blue fabric Jay wore. " Judging from the way there are outlines along his chest, shoulders, arms and legs, something is also under the gi. Could he have something like armour under the material of his suit? See how his movements aren't as fluid?"

Lloyd nodded. " Like something is stopping his limbs from moving too well. It's totally armour. But, why? Jay hates anything that slows him down."

"The suit looks stronger, too. Maybe it's made of some sort of leather?" Nya said, very confused with what they were seeing. A strange, new sword? Armour? A new suit? This was not Jay-like at all.

Before anyone could respond, an orange burst of smoke entered the screen, causing the viewers, and Jay, who was on screen, to jump back. Jay quickly took a piece of cloth from a container attached to his belt, which none of them had noticed, and rubbed it along his sword, carefully. The cloth dripped with a green liquid, and Nya gasped.

"What...how…?" She said, drawing closer to the projection of what had occurred. When she noticed everyone looking at her strangely, she turned back, pausing the footage.

"That's...that's Tiger Widow venom. One drop of it would kill any human, but slow a Djinn. WHAT IN THE WORLD IS HE DOING? HE'S HOLDING IT! HE'S TOUCHING THE VENOM!" She finished off, panicking. Kai grabbed her shoulder, pushing her into a seat.

"He's gonna die, he's gonna die…" She muttered, tears threatening to fall. Kai held her, softly stroking her hair.

"We don't know that, okay? We're gonna continue watching, but you don't have to if you don't want to." Kai said.

"No, it's okay. I'll be okay." She responded, looking up.

Zane observed the frozen screen, his face one of concentration.

"Do you know what he's doing, Zane?" Lloyd asked, more confused than ever now.

"I have my suspicions."

"So do I." Mo said, butting in. The Nindroid pressed play and the team continued to watch the video.

Jay, now putting the cloth back in the container, again, carefully, he turned to the Djinn.

"Long time no see, huh, Nadakhan. I have to say, I haven't missed you."

"Oh, my little canary speaks. You have gotten stronger, but I will still break you." The Djinn chuckled, holding the accursed Blade in his hand. Jay flinched away, but his face was full of determination.

"I will beat you, Nadakhan. You better believe it. I'll take you down if it's the last thing I do." Jay said, holding his sword up, the Tiger Widow venom dripping off of it, hitting the ground.

" I was about to say the same thing to you, Jay, but it won't be the last thing I do. The last thing I do will be make Ninjago into Djinjago, and rule all of your people with power and control. I will be the most feared of all your villains. Your suits will be my trophies, your weapons displayed in museums, a constant reminder of your defeat. And you, my friend, will be turned into a wooden statue, rotting over time, until there's nothing left to see."

"That's dark, and you know what they say? The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.* "

"Smart, but you're talking because you're afraid, my little canary. "

At this point Jay took a swing at Nadakhan, missing as the Djinn teleported away, making Jay growl, and go for another swing. This continued on for many minutes, until Jay had cut Nadakhan in the arm. Because the sword was covered in Tiger Widow venom, it weakened the Djinn severally. The Blue Ninja leveled his sword at Nadakhan's throat, once the Djinn collapsed on the ground. The Djinn gasped, and, using the last bit of magic he had at the moment, altered his form.

He turned into a beautiful woman, with blond hair, sapphire blue eyes, and a blue ninja gi. Jay took a step back, a shocked expression on his face.

"Mom?"

"Jay." Jay's mom, er, Nadakhan, said, softening their eyes. " I've missed you. Look how much you've grown."

Jay sobbed. " This isn't real, this isn't real." he said, tears falling down his cheeks. He dropped the sword, shaking, too weak and surprised to hold onto anything.

"No, hun, it is real. I'm right here. I've always been." Her voice was soft, comforting. The Ninja team knew it was fake, an illusion, but Nadakhan hit where it hurt most for Jay. His uncertain past. His desire for his biological mother.

"Why did you leave me?" Jay suddenly shouted, making the team jump, but his 'mother' stayed calm.

" You know why I left you, Jay. It was because you're weak, worthless, undeserving. I never wanted you. I wish that you were never born." She answered, still in her calm, soothing voice.

"N-no, don't say that, it's not true, it's-" Jay was interrupted when Jay's 'mother' pushed Jay to the ground, reforming into Nadakhan. Jay's eyes widened as he struggled under his grip, struggling to breath.

"Tricked you, my little canary. Are you going to cry for me? Cry for your family?" Nadakhan said in his own calm voice, picking up Jay's discarded sword.

"Very impressive, what you have done. Making the sword's effects be like the Tiger Widow venom's. It nearly worked." He continued, drawing the sword to Jay's neck. Nya could tell Jay was terrified, to be honest, she was as well.

" I will kill you, Jason Walker, in the same way Nya died all that time ago."

"I'm sorry..." Jay whimpered, looked up, as if talking to the sky, but Nya knew that he wanted someone else to hear it. She knew him, she could tell it was meant for someone. She knew that those words were meant for her.

"Nadakhan, I wish it all away." Jay said with confidence. The Djinn smiled.

"Your wish is yours to keep."

Everyone gasped as Jay closed his eyes, turned into a blue orb, and made its way into the sword. Nadakhan inhaled, felt the power that had been given to him, and dropped Jay's own sword, the sword that could hurt him, and teleported off. Soon, all the Ninja team saw on the security footage was their lawn, empty, other than the sword that had nearly saved them all.

Nobody talked for a long time. Nobody knew what to say. Kai suddenly stood up abruptly, and stormed outside, soon coming back in, Jay's silver sword in hand.

"Kai, put that down, it could kill you!" Nya screamed, but before she could rip it out of her brother's grasp, Cole held her arm firm.

"Relax, Nya, Kai can handle it. Right?"

The Fire Ninja nodded, " When the sword has power in it, like the Tiger Widow venom, it becomes heavier, like a stone sword. When it's normal, it is the same weight as our regular swords. This is normal, so the Tiger Widow venom effect wore off. I would avoid going near there, though. Some venom spilled in the grass.

Nya nodded slowly, still uncertain.

Mo took the sword from Kai's hands and balanced it between his own. He took a deep breath, and looked around the room, catching everyone's eyes.

" I know I'm young and inexperienced. I know I shouldn't be the one saying this, but someone has to.

"I didn't know Jay too well, but we all can say he was, no, is, smart. Though his fear clouded his better judgement, he never let it stand in the way of doing good. Though terrified of Nadakhan, he faced him head on, nearly defeating him. We have the sword. We, hopefully, can find more venom. We have each other." Now, he looked at Maya, the HydroElectric Ninja, his friend. She had tears in her eyes, but the determination found in them was unmistakable.

"We will get Jay back. We will get all of them back."

Everyone nodded in agreement, Lloyd wrapping his future son in a hug.

"Go, Ninja, Go." Cole said under his breath. It gave him confidence. And, though that was one inspirational speech, he was still scared. He had to be brave. He had to have courage. For Ninjago, for the team, for Jay.

Expect another update in a week or so! Enjoy your day/night!
