Chapter 7! Thanks again to RPM Shadow, CaptainSteve1, fitzclaire37, and Seleine16 for reviewing!

fitzclaire37: Jay was able to hold the venom because he was wearing special protective gear, as the team noticed in the last chapter. I imagine (hope) that leather would be able to protect the user from the Tiger Widow venom, so I had Jay wear a leather gi, complete with leather boots and gloves. This is how he could hold the venom without being hurt. I hope this makes sense. Thanks again for the review!

Thanks to Lostkeyboard for the idea for this chapter, it really helped!

(Some lines are from Lego Ninjago's Season 6, the episode titled " On a Wish and a Prayer")

Here we gooooo!

After a good night's rest, the Ninja team, plus Maya and Mo, were ready to come up with a plan. Which proved to be a hard task. Not only did they not know where he was, they had no clue how to take him down. Mo suddenly remembered that Zane and Jay had found Nadakhan just days ago, and asked the Nindroid how they did it.

"Hey, Zane? How did you and Jay find Nadakhan before?" Zane glanced away from the eggs he was cooking on the stove to respond.

" We had help. Borg gave us about 25 drones to fly around Ninjago to find him. I'm not sure how, but they have all been either deactivated, lost, or destroyed. I assume that Nadakhan and his crew got to them."

Mo raised his eyebrows. " Can't we just get more, then?" Zane sighed.

"I've tried. Somehow, I cannot get through to Borg from here. I have to go to the city to pick up groceries, so I guess I could ask him then."

Kai nodded as he began eating the eggs the Nindroid had placed in front of him. "Sounds good, but you shouldn't go alone. Remember what Jay said? Nadakhan got us when we were alone, so we have to stay with someone else. Always. We don't want to lose you, Zane."

"Alright. Who wants to go with me?"

"If no one else wants to, I would," Cole said, drinking his coffee. " I haven't been in the city for a while." Zane nodded.

"Sounds like a plan. Are you ready now?" The Earth Ninja quickly chugged his coffee, and got up.

"Ready if you are, Tin Can."

Later, Cole and Zane had permission to use the last of Borg's droids to search for Nadakakhan and were exiting the city, a laptop in hand. Cole hadn't worried about bringing weapons, but now, as he felt a bad gut feeling, regretted that decision. After consulting with Zane, he concluded that he was not the only one feeling this way.

"Let's hurry, if we both have bad feelings, something is bound to happen." Zane said, worried. Then, they started to run. They had parked their vehicles just outside of the city, but it was still a good mile or two away. As soon as they got out of the city limits, their vehicles in sight, Nadakhan appeared in front of the unsuspecting Nindroid, snatching Zane in his grasp, and teleported away. Cole, after screeching to a halt, stood there, shocked. What. Had. Just. Happened.

Cole, not knowing what to do, called the team, hoping someone would be able to help. Luckly, Kai had picked it up.

"Nadakhan took Zane. I repeat, Nadakhan took Zane." Cole said, trying to sound calm. In reality, he was not calm. They had already lost Jay, they couldn't lose Zane.

"Took him? As in, captured in the Blade?" Kai asked, sounding concerned. Cole shook his head, even though he knew no one was watching, and responded.

"No, he just grabbed Zane and teleported away. I have no clue where they are." The Master of Earth could hear the Master of Fire sigh from the other end of the communication.

"Okay, well, I'll try to track him, but, otherwise, he's on his own. Let's hope he'll pull a Jay and not wish it all away."

"Let's hope."

Zane and Nadakhan appeared on a boat. Disoriented from teleporting, Zane struggled to stand, but he soon gained his footing. Nadakhan smiled, facing the Nindroid with confidence. The Blade in his hand sung the cries of everyone within it, and Zane could hear Jay, begging for revenge. Or maybe it was just Zane's imagination.

"Where are we, Nadakhan? What do you plan on doing to me?"

"Oh, Zane, I just want a friendly chess match." He said, gesturing to a chess board near the two of them. Zane cocked his head. Why did this feel so familiar?

Maybe this is where he wished it all away, in the previous timeline. Jay had only said that when Zane went below the ship Nadakhan got to him. Well, they were on a ship. Cliff Gordon's, based on his scans. Was Nadakhan going to try and make Zane wish it all away again? Zane knew that that was not happening, if he could help it.

The Nindroid sat on the seat closest to the wall, and Nadakhan across from him, the evil Djinn glad that the Ice Ninja was agreeing to the challenge.

"So, I take it you want me to make wishes?" Zane asked, moving his first piece across the chess board. The Djinn smiled, moving his piece.

"Well, it's your choice, Ninja. Do you think you are smart enough to take down a Djinn?"

" Yes. I think I can." Zane replied, his voice filled with confidence. Nadakhan smiled, drawing his arms across his chest.

" For my first wish, I wish that you'll not twist my words, nor find a loophole, but understand the true intentions of the words that I speak, and carry out your will as I've thoroughly instructed."

"Your wish is yours to keep." Zane stared his enemy down, taking his turn. Could Nadakhan's grin have gotten bigger? Was he doing something wrong? No. All of his calculations have been correct. This would not fail. He would outsmart the Djinn.

" My second wish is this: It is imperative that from here on out, whatever harm may befallミ" Zane was about to say 'me', but thought otherwise. Why would he wish that? Sure, he valued his life, but not above others. He was the Ninja who sacrificed his life to save Ninjago, and he was just about to make a selfish wish? That was not like him at all. And, besides, if he wished that no harm would befall himself, Nadakhan would surely hurt someone else. He soon knew what to say.

"...whatever harm may befall others, will be done unto you tenfold." Nadakhan's grin faltered at this, and Zane concluded he did something right. This gave him more confidence. He was about to make his final wish, but he had to do so quickly, before the Djinn ran for it. He was about to wish that Nadakhan was not a Djinn, but stopped. If he wished that, would there be unseen consequences? What would happen to the Djinn Blade? The people inside? What would happen to the Teapot of Tyrahn? Instead, Zane went with his heart.

"For my final wish, I wish that Jay Walker, the Ninja of Lightning, is freed from the Djinn Blade, fully whole and in sound mind, body, and attitude. Checkmate."

"No!" Nadakhan shouted, and the Blade began glowing a bright blue. Zane shrunk away from the light, it got brighter and brighter by the second. Soon, lightning shot out of the Blade, and none other than Jay Walker appeared where the lightning had hit.

"Jay!" Zane shouted in delight. He ran over to his friend as he fell to the ground, too weak to stand. Jay would have to be checked on later.

"You may have gotten your friend back," Nadakhan said, picking up the Blade. "...but you are out of wishes, Nindroid! Three less to stop me!" With that, and a puff of orange smoke, their enemy disappeared, leaving the two ninja alone on the boat.

"Jay! It's so good to have you back!" The Blue Ninja groaned as he opened his eyes, but still gave one of his award-winning smiles.

"Good to see you too, Zane."

"Can you stand?" he responded, not wanting to push Jay. He wished that Jay would come out alright, but maybe he wasn't. They could deal with it, though. Jay nodded.

"Yea, but, what happened? The last thing I remember was fighting Nadakhan."

"You were trapped in the Blade, but I wished you out. I outsmarted him!" Zane said, beaming. He had outsmarted Nadakhan! He did it!

"Great job! Is it weird that I feel that we can actually beat him?" Jay commented, getting up. With his weaponized Tiger Widow venom, his new suit, Zane's brains, and the team, things were looking up. Would they actually beat Nadakhan? He looked over to his friend, who was still smiling.

"Nope, I feel it too. It's called hope. And I have a lot of it."

I have screeched to a halt with ideas for this fanfic. I have every intention of continuing it, BUT PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THEM! I should've planned ahead, because right now I have no clue how to have action, how to keep the plot going, or how to defeat Nadakhan (which is my end goal.) So, if you have any ideas, PLEASE HELP! I don't really care if it's through the PM or reviews, but if you have any ideas, I would love to hear them, and I will give you credit if I use it.

Another note. With school starting up again, I would like to have one story for an update priority, even though I will finish both (Stuck in the Past or the Wrong Team). The update priority means that it will have the fastest updates, or the first to be updated. Thanks to those who have already helped me out, but if you have an opinion on what should be the update priority, I would love to know through reviews or the poll on my profile!

Thanks for reading, have a great day/night!
