Current Events 10/12/2016
Another five chapters down, time for Current Events. No reviews have come up that really need answering but I still appreciate them nonetheless. It's nice to see feedback, the traffic graph is just numbers after all.
As for edits, changes, and the like there will certainly be plenty coming. Chapters 1 - 5 are completely done. I've added, shifted, rewrote, and clarified. Slowly getting to the rest. Chapter 45 - Mindless has some issues I only just saw, as well as a story progression possibility I didn't take. I might have a full chapter or two (maybe more depending) dealing with Chosen/Nameless's memories as the Child of Fire. The flashback was way too short and felt shoehorned in after reading it a few days later. This is the problem with online stuff, you can post it at anytime and on a whim but it's generally a bad idea to pull that. Pressure and whatnot, not being sure if I'll have time to properly edit, blah, blah, blah, I rush updates sometimes despite the hours of work I put into them. Then there's the whole "How much editing is too much editing?" No clue. Point is Chapter 45 - Mindless might change. Dunno yet, bit of a toss up.
Current Events will have descriptions on which chapters have been changed (Current Events is posted every 5 new chapters), from those already changed to the most recent block. Writing quality is iffy across the story right now, high in the beginning to low in the middle then back up again (plot needs a look too). Writing a coherent plot in Dark Souls with all the twists and turns I've been pulling has also been a pain in the ass. Another reason updates have slowed so much! Meh, I admit I like it. Oh and hey, new chapters will get here when they get here. Don't pester me for those that do. I'm honored by your excitement and patience but let me work there's a lot to keep track of between this and life outside of internet. This is free content and I'm busting my ass to make it as good as possible. Again, it's a lot of fun though. Great practice for being a writer.
Can't really think of anything else off the top of my head right now but check back in a week to see if I've made any changes to this Current Events. Any new information will be marked by: - UPDATE - :if I decide anything is worth mentioning that I did not already.
