CHAPTER 23: LAST BATTLE AND MYSTERY GIFT
"OK THEN! FOR THE LAST TWO TEAMS, TEAM D AND TEAM F! LET'S SEE WHICH WOULD BE THE HERO OR VILLAIN"
All Might once again squeezes his hand in the poor small box and as always, and such a Drama Queen he is, he draws it out as long as possible. Next is a teen in a black with yellow trims skin-tight bodysuit complete with a yellow helmet which shaped similarly to a tape dispenser. Hanta Sero who is crossing his arms waiting for the result with a grin.
And finally the last one is the one and only bird-head of the class with a full-body cape hiding his body. Tokoyami Fumikage who is just calmly standing there.
With a slight nod as if agree with the built up tension, All Might pulls out a white ball with the letter 'D'
"THEN TEAM F WILL BE THE VILLAIN! LIKE THE PREVIOUS, TEAM HERO WAITS BY THE GATE AND TEAM VILLAIN PLEASE GET TO YOUR HIDEOUT!"
No need for anymore encourage, the teams quickly go to their station.
WITH THE HEROES - SHOTO, HAGAKURE, JIRO
The three of them sit there waiting for the gate in uncomfortable silent. Then the lively one of the group, Hagakure starts chatting
"Hi! I'm Hagakure Toru! What's your?"
The emo girl answers her politely
"Um… My name is Jirou Kyoka"
With that they both look at the sole male of the group, but without turning to look at them he says
"Todoroki Shoto"
The awkward silent continues, before anyone could speak, the gate has started to open, defeated the girls sigh and walk behind their male teammate.
WITH THE VILLAIN - IIDA, TOKOYAMI, SERO
"FELLOW VILLAINS! WE SHOULD THINK UP A PLAN AND EMBRASS THE EVILNESS FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT!"
Said the robot theme Hero, while the black yellow tape Hero is laughing his a** off and the bird Hero just stares blankly at them.
"PLEASE! CONCENTRATE!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
With a sigh, Tokoyami says
"Revelry in the dark. Iida, do you have any suggestion?"
Before any word could leave his mouth, a crackling sound could be heard. In second, everything is covered in ice, the wall, floor, the bomb and the villains. Iida's legs are frozen in ice and his gas tubes on his calves are blocked, so he can't use the heat when his quirk is activated to free himself. The same could be said to Sero as he is also frozen stiff and unfortunately as well as his elbows so he can't shoot out tapes to swing himself free. As for Tokoyami, he is the same fate at his teammates, frozen stiff. Then they see a shadow is walking toward them, turns out it was Todoroki who caused all of this.
Todoroki gives them a look and walks pass them toward the bomb, however, he suddenly dodges at a blackish purple mass strikes the place he was standing.
"YOU MAY FROZEN TOKO! BUT I'M STILL FREEEEE!"
The dark and bigger version of Fumikage rushes forward and throwing punches at the hero. But he only looks at the shadow thing like nothing and with a stomp of his feet, columns of ices raise up and trap his attacker in block of ice.
"Pretty smart of you to ambush me like that but"
He turns and throws a cold look at them, saying
"The gap between us is too large"
AT THE OBSERVATION ROOM
The students even All Might are shivering from the freezing cold from Shoto's quirk.
"Without harming his ally and immobilized the opponents…"
"He is so strong!"
"Yeah! Bro! He is something else!"
Lots of the girl widen their eyes in admiration and the boys are in awe at the strength of Todoroki Shoto has portrayed. The only one who is not only scowls at the displayed, but also showing a knowing look at how the two color hair boy's action and attitude.
'Izu is gonna love to 'speak' with this one! But I'm going to beat him in this! His attitude is pissed me off!'
Bakugo thought with a devilish grin as he remembers how he once was like the teen and how Deku SPOKE to him and Helped him snap out of it… It was a chilling but heart-warming memory for him.
He then looks up to the monitor as the dubbed 'Candy cane' walks up and touch the bomb, ending the battle in a few seconds. Bakugo sighs as he waits for them to return and the whole who is MVP again but this time he ain't say nothing, cause he is still sulking from the interruption from his La La Land earlier.
AFTER SCHOOL, AT BAKUGO'S HOUSEHOLD
Katsuki has arrived home and just finish his bath when his mother calls for him
"OI BRAT! THERE IS A PACKAGE FROM TOKYO FOR YOU!"
"OK HAG!"
"URG! WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT CALLING HAG!"

Like a tennis match the mother and son bouncing insults back and forward till the teen reaches the living room. In there, he sees both of his parents are sitting there, staring at a small brown box which is only a little bigger than his hand. He stomps into there, snatches the box and rushes up-stair before they could say anything. The mother sighs while her husband laughs at the display of their son
"I don't know who is he take after?! He is soooooo stubborn and hot-head!"
The father of said child bursts out laughing at his wife is whining about their son's behavior.
AT KATSUKI'S ROOM
Because today is a Test day for Izuku so he could not send him a text nor a call through-out the day.
'What kind of school that has test from morning till night?! I wanna hear his voice!'
Sulking as he sits down on his bed, hands still holding the box. Slowly he opens the box, inside it is a letter and another smaller black box. He curiously picks the black box first and opens it. A black circular thing that is wrapped in plastic, not knowing what it is, he reaches for the only thing may answers his questions, the letter.
