It was a little later that night when the doorbell rang so Gosalyn answered the door.

When she did, Tank and Honker Muddlefoot were at the front door which surprised Gosalyn since they couldn't play today.

"Hey Gosalyn, how's it going?" Honker asked her, Gosalyn immediately knew that he was up to something. "Good." Gosalyn replied flatly.

"Did you guys need something?" Gosalyn asked them, Tank sighed. "Honker thinks he saw an odd creature in your house." Tank responded.

Gosalyn felt her heart skip a beat. "Don't be silly, there's no creature here." Gosalyn said quickly, she hoped that Naomi was hiding right now.

"I bet there is and I wanna see it." Honker said as he walked into the house, Tank followed his little brother. "Sorry." Tank whispered to Gosalyn.

The trio walked up the stairs. "Look, you two can't be over here because my Dad's aren't at home right now." Gosalyn told her two best friends.

"It'll be really quick." Honker assured her, Gosalyn sighed as the boys opened the door to her room before going to all the rooms in the whole house.

"See? No odd creatures here." Tank told Honker, the younger boy wouldn't give up yet. "There's still one room left." Honker replied to his older brother.

The only room that hadn't been checked was the room that Naomi is using as her bedroom. "Fine but we have got to be quick." Tank told Honker sternly.

Gosalyn was shaking in worry since she knew that Naomi was in the room right now. "Please be hiding!" Gosalyn prayed silently, she followed them inside.

When the trio went inside the room, they didn't see anything out of the ordinary. "I told you." Tank said to Honker, he was very speechless right now.

Honker looked around the room and under the bed along with Tank and Gosalyn who was just as confused about the disappearance of one human girl.

"Where'd she go?" Gosalyn thought to herself, that's when she glanced up and saw Naomi hanging from the light. "Perfect!" Gosalyn thought happily.

"I know that I saw something!" Honker said as he stamped his foot, he was upset. "We should go home." Tank told Honker, the younger boy was mad.

Before the trio could move, they heard a 'Crack' sound. "What was that?" Honker asked Gosalyn, she was nervous as another crack sound was heard again.

"Uh-oh." A soft voice muttered, just as Tank and Honker looked up, the ceiling light came down along with the odd creature that Honker had seen earlier today.

The creature and the light landed on top of the Muddlefoot brothers. "OW!" Three voices said in pain, Gosalyn face-palmed as the dust started to settle down again.

Tank and Honker looked up see a strange hairless ape. "WHAT IS THAT?!" Tank asked in fear, he held onto Honker who wanted to take a closer look at the creature.

"I told you I saw something!" Honker said with glee, he wanted to study the creature. "Guys, you don't have to be scared." Gosalyn said as she went over to Naomi.

"Gosalyn? Did you get the license of that truck?" Naomi asked as she saw stars, Tank and Honker were in shock now. "IT TALKS!?" Tank shouted in fear, he was scared.

Honker on the other hand watch as Gosalyn interacted with the creature. "Naomi, you didn't get hit by a truck." Gosalyn replied with a giggle, Naomi shook her head a bit.

When Naomi's head stopped showing her stars, she saw Tank and Honker. "Aw man! Now what do we do?" Naomi asked with a groan, she knew she'd get into trouble for this.

"We'll have to tell them." Gosalyn answered her, the two girls took turns explaining what happened last night and that the four Darkwing Ducks were already on the case to help.

Tank and Honker listened intently until the end. "So, can you two promise not to tell anyone about me?" Naomi asked the boys, they weren't sure if they could keep quiet about this.

"Pretty please~?" Gosalyn and Naomi asked sweetly, they batted their eyelashes which made the boys blush. "We promise." Tank and Honker replied, they were still blushing beet red.

This made the girls giggle as they watched Tank and Honker go back home. "So...where were we?" Naomi asked Gosalyn, they had been talking about the differences of their worlds.

"We were talking about you're Mom and Dad." Gosalyn replied to her, Gosalyn wanted to hear more about Naomi's parents. "Oh, right." Naomi said with a sigh, Gosalyn stopped smiling.

"Are you okay?" Gosalyn asked Naomi, she sat on the bed. "My Mama and Baba passed away when I was ten." Naomi answered sadly, Gosalyn was sad now too when she heard that.

"I know what it's like to miss someone too." Gosalyn told Naomi, she looked at the young duckling then remembered that Gosalyn's grandfather was gone and she didn't know her parents at all.

"Way to go girl, you've upset the kid." Naomi scolded herself, the young preteen then thought of a way to cheer up the young ducking so she turned on some music that made Gosalyn look at her.

Gosalyn knew that Naomi was trying to tell her that her grandfather would always be near as he watched over her new family so she decided to cheer up Naomi with her own verse of this song.

At the end of the song, the girls hugged each other but felt a whole lot better. "I guess we're birds of a feather, huh?" Naomi asked with a watery smile, Gosalyn gave a teary laugh at the pun.

"I guess we are." Gosalyn replied to her, they laughed softly together but stopped when they heard the front door. "Girls? We're back." Megavolt called out, they smiled at hearing the four come in.

"We also got pizza!" Quackerjack added in, Gosalyn and Naomi ran downstairs to meet the friendly four in the kitchen. "Welcome back." Naomi said with a smile, Gosalyn hugged her father's happily.

Naomi watched Gosalyn hug her father's and they hugged her back. "She really is in good hands." Naomi thought with a smile, she missed her parents but knew they'd always be with her forever.

"Anything happen while we were gone?" Liquidator asked them, Naomi told them that Tank and Honker found out about her. "T-they won't tell anyone, right?" Bushroot asked nervously, he was worried.

"They promised that they wouldn't tell." Gosalyn replied to him, the five settled down to eat. "Did you find anything?" Naomi asked in wonder, the friendly four did in fact find a few thing at the warehouse.

Megavolt handed Naomi her backpack and skate board which had ended up with her in their world but she hadn't notice, along with the plans to recreate the portal that would lead back to her universe.

Bushroot explained that he and the others would get started on making the portal but only after they caught Nega Duck since he had escaped from being captured while the friendly four had been busy.

"I can wait, no worries." Naomi told them, she knew that she was no hurry to go back to her empty house since her 'family' was never there to actually take care of her but she didn't want anyone to know.

For now, Naomi could just enjoy the company of Gosalyn and her father's while getting to know them. "Maybe I can help them catch Nega Duck." Naomi thought with a thoughtful look on her face as she ate.

The friendly four and Gosalyn were taking care of her so Naomi thought that helping them catch the villain was the best way to repay the family for all their kindness so that's exactly what she planned to do.

New chapter done! I don't own the song in this chapter and I switched out some of the lyrics from the movie's song.

I switched Fei Fei's mother with Gosalyn's grandfather when Naomi sings, and Houyi with Naomi's parents when Gosalyn sings.
