It has now been a week since Naomi ended up in the Negaverse version of Darkwing Duck.
Since Naomi had been extra careful with her left shoulder, it healed up quickly in no time so the stitches were able came out on Sunday.
However, a scar will be on Naomi's shoulder but she wasn't upset. "It's like a badge of honor." Naomi told Bushroot, he gave her an odd look.
"A badge of honor?" Bushroot asked her, Naomi smiled. "Hardly anyone can survive a gun shot after saving someone but I did." Naomi explained.
Bushroot then understood, Naomi was proud to gain that scar because not only did she survive Nega Duck but she also saved Gosalyn's life.
"We're still grateful you saved our daughter's life." Bushroot said with a smile, Naomi blushed. "I'm just glad she's okay." Naomi replied to him.
Even though Naomi has gotten to know the friendly four, she still kept some things secret from them like her plan to help capture Nega Duck.
So, it was that very same evening that Naomi would start helping her friends but she would leave after Gosalyn and her father's left the house.
"Thank goodness Gosalyn's spending the night at Tank's." Naomi thought in relief, said duckling was now at the Muddlefoot's house for the night.
The friendly four have already left to patrol so they could search for Nega Duck which meant that it was time for Naomi to get herself ready now.
Over the week, Naomi made herself a dark purple spy outfit like the ones from Totally Spies another favorite cartoon show that Naomi loved to watch.
The gadgets she made were just like the ones from the show as well which would come in handy, the only thing not from the show was her purple mask.
"Can't let anyone know it's me." Naomi muttered to herself, she had left the house and was now leaping from building to building in the huge, bright city.
Naomi's first thought was to check the inside of the towers of the bridge since Nega Duck's lair could be in one of them but she didn't know the exact one.
"This may be a bit harder." Naomi said to herself, so using her heat signature contact lenses, Naomi looked for any signs of life in the towers of the bridge.
Sadly though, she couldn't find anything or anyone in the towers. "Time to check the city itself then." Naomi said as she activated her jetpack backpack.
Naomi searched high and low until she came upon the friendly four and Nega Duck fighting. "And Bingo was his name-o." Naomi thought with narrowed eyes.
As she watched the battle, Nega Duck soon got upper hand so Naomi decided that now was the perfect time to intervene by using the laser lipstick she had.
"What the-!" Nega Duck cried out in pain, his tail feathers were singed. "WHO DID THAT?!" Nega Duck asked in anger, Naomi smirked as she distracted him.
That gave Liquidator the perfect chance to knock Nega Duck's chainsaw out of his hands. "This time you won't get away!" Liquidator said to the insane Nega Duck.
"I don't think you'll live long enough to capture me!" Nega Duck cackled, he pulled out a controller and brought out his newest robot which had buzz saws for hands.
The friendly four stepped back. "I've got to help them!" Naomi thought in worry, she flew down and got out her own smoke bomb before throwing it between the five.
"Where did that come from?" Quackerjack asked in confusion, no one knew the answer to his question. "Whose there?!" Nega Duck shouted in annoyance, a laugh was heard.
"I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the girl who haunts your dreams! I am the Black Swan!" Naomi called out, her friends tried to figure out where she was at right away.
Naomi/Black Swan appeared from the smoke but because it was dark, the friendly four couldn't see who she was and neither could Nega Duck who was fuming at the human girl.
"Why must you interlopers always get in my way!?" Nega Duck screamed in frustration, Naomi smirked. "If we didn't then we wouldn't get to have any fun." Naomi retorted to him.
Nega Duck was so mad that he made his robot attack Naomi but she dodged it then used her ice queen liquid freezing spray to stop the robot in it's tracks by freezing it in place.
The friendly four and Nega Duck's jaws dropped in shock. "I so love this gadget." Naomi said with a smirk, Nega Duck saw red then tried to attack Naom again only without his robot.
Thankfully, Naomi knew hand to hand combat as her Baba had taught her to fight since she was only six. "You. Are. So. Annoying!" Nega Duck grunted out, he couldn't get in a single hit.
'SMACK!' but the newest crime fighter landed a roundhouse kick to Nega Duck's face. "And you're insane, what else is new?" Naomi asked as Nega Duck hit the brick wall behind him.
The friendly four were now very interested in this super heroine. "That was impressive." Megavolt said in awe, his friends nodded in agreement. "Thanks." Naomi responded sweetly.
"I've had enough!" Nega Duck shouted in anger, he knew that he was outnumbered so using a smoke bomb of his own, Nega Duck made a hasty retreat from the battle zone once more.
Naomi and the friendly four were disappointed since he got away again. "At least he was stopped from getting the generator." Bushroot told the others, his friends were happy about that.
"Generator?" Naomi asked them, Megavolt explained that Nega Duck needed it to help power his new portal so he could get back to Primeverse. "I see." Naomi responded in slight shock.
"So...Black Swan? Who are you really?" Quakerjack asked innocently, Naomi internally panicked. "You know I can't tell you that or else it'll jeopardize my civilian life." Naomi replied calmly.
The friendly four knew that was true. "We know but you seem really familiar." Liquidator said as he narrowed his eyes, he and the others walked towards Naomi as she backed up from them.
"Gotta jet!" Naomi said quickly, she used her bungee belt to swing up to the rooftops before hiding behind a door. "Wait!" Bushroot called out to her, he started to follow Naomi onto the roofs.
"Uh-oh! Better turn this express into a local!" Naomi thought in worry, she decided it was time to 'pull a Clover' and use her favorite scene from Totally Spies: The Movie right then and there.

At the end of the song, Naomi finally lost track of Bushroot and made it back to the house. "Time for a quick change." Naomi mumbled, she used her compact mirror to change her clothes.
Instead of her spy suit, the compact mirror changed Naomi into a light purple nightdress with stars on it and just in time too since the friendly four just got home at that very moment.
"...and then, I lost sight of her." Bushroot said in shame, none of his friends were upset. "We'll just have to keep an eye out for Black Swan." Megavolt told his friends, they agreed with him.
Naomi felt a pang of guilt for not telling her friends that she was Black Swan but if they knew then they'd stop her from helping them capture Nega Duck before he could fix the portal again.
"It's for the best." Naomi reminded herself, she had to do this mission of hers for the sake of her friends. "Naomi? Why're you still up?" Liquidator asked her, Naomi jumped at his deep voice.
"I-I was just working on a new design." Naomi answered him, that wasn't a lie because Naomi had also been making a series of outfits for herself since she couldn't get clothes in her size.
The friendly four looked at her sketchbook and saw that she was telling the truth. "Alright but don't stay up too late." Quakerjack said with a smile, he and the others went to their bedrooms.
"That was close." Naomi thought with a sigh, she really hated lying to her friends but once all was said and done, they'd understand why she decided to help them but only after she told them.
For now though, it was late and Naomi needed some sleep so she went to her room, set down her sketchbook then got in bed before drifting off to sleep as she devised a new plan for tomorrow.
