It was the morning after the battle with Nega Duck and Nega Launchpad when Naomi woke up.

Naomi saw that she was back in her room and that the others were with her. all fast asleep as they had stayed up all night.

The sight of dried tear marks on their faces made Naomi upset with herself since she had put the friendly four and herself in danger.

"It's my fault! I made them worry!" Naomi thought as she gripped the blanket tightly, Naomi wanted to disappear right then and there.

While Naomi thought of the best way to punish herself severally, she didn't see nor hear that Gosalyn was starting to wake up from sleeping.

Once Gosalyn opened her eyes, she saw that Naomi was up. "You're okay!" Gosalyn shouted happily, her voice made everyone jump in fright.

Darkwing and the friendly four woke up when they heard that. "Naomi!" The friendly four said in concern, they saw her shaking at them in fear.

"What's wrong?" Bushroot asked her, Naomi then started to cry. "I-I'm so sorry!" Naomi said with a sob, her friends were very confused by that.

"Sorry? For what?" Megavolt asked in confusion, Bushroot held Naomi as she broke down and apologized for putting them all in danger last night.

The friendly four, Gosalyn and Darkwing tried to comfort her as they kept telling Naomi that they understood why she had wanted to help them.

Unfortunately, anything the six of them said to Naomi didn't help, so Quackerjack got the best idea to help calm their young human friend down.

Quackerjack turned on some music which got everyone's attention onto him as he smiled at his family who were wondering what he was doing now.

Naomi smiled slightly as she recognized the song that was starting to pour into the room so she decided to play along with Quackerjack for fun.

At the end of the song, Naomi found herself in the middle of a hug. "Feel better now?" Quackerjack asked with a smile, Naomi laughed as she nodded. "Very." Naomi replied happily.

Darkwing Duck smiled at his Negaverse friends but he and the others needed to know why Naomi wanted to help catch Nega Duck to begin with since he had injured her once again.

"You guys were helping me so I wanted to return the favor." Naomi answered them, Gosalyn hugged Naomi as she knew of the horrors that were caused by her former foster father.

The friendly four were shocked to hear that, that was the reason why Naomi had tried to help them find Nega Duck even though it had led her to getting hurt by the insane duck once more.

"I think I speak for all of us when I say that was a bad idea." Liquidator said sternly, Naomi flinched at his tone. "I-I'm sorry." Naomi said sadly, she was scared of what he'd do to punish her.

"You knew better than to go after a villain." Megavolt added in, Naomi flinched again. "But we're just happy that you're alright." Bushroot said softly, Naomi looked up at him with wide eyes.

"You are?" Naomi asked in confusion, her friends could feel their hearts break. "Of course, but please don't do that again." Quackerjack told her, Gosalyn nodded with a pleading look on her face.

Naomi looked at her friends then smiled. "I promise." Naomi responded with a light blush on her face, the others laughed a little before they said their goodbye's to Darkwing Duck one final time.

"You'd better rest now." Liquidator told Naomi, he left with his friends but Gosalyn stayed behind. "Can...I stay here?" Gosalyn asked shyly, Naomi smiled and patted the spot next to her on the bed.

Gosalyn smiled as she laid down next to her friend. "It'll be a few days before the portal can be reopened so you'll have to wait to go home." Gosalyn said with a yawn, Naomi shook her head again.

"Like I said before, I'm in no hurry to get home." Naomi responded lightly, she knew her so called 'family' wouldn't notice that she was missing unlike her best friend Hanna would after a few days.

Although, no matter how much Naomi missed her best friend, she knew that she would miss Gosalyn and the friendly four so that meant Naomi had a tough choice to make between staying or leaving.

Naomi decided to not to worry about that decision for right now because at the moment, Naomi needed to rest so letting out a yawn of her own, both girls fell fast asleep together just like sisters would.

What the human girl didn't know was that Gosalyn secretly loved the idea of having her as big sister so she kept hoping that Naomi would choose to stay in the Negaverse with her and be apart of the family.

The friendly four quietly watched the two girls as they slept peacefully before heading downstairs to talk about how to convince Naomi to stay with them since they were clearly the better family for her.

But in the end, the four came to the same conclusion, it would be better for Naomi to make her own choice of either staying or leaving but they really hoped that she would stay and live with them instead.
