Although this idea has been done before, I just love it so much and decided to do my own spin on it.

If she had been human the marble surrounding her would have felt cold, instead the vampire moved slowly a thick muscled guard directly behind her. Her master walked next to her, but was only guarded by a soft blonde girl, though the woman's instincts told her that the blonde hidden behind that hood was more dangerous than the hulking figure watching her. Red eyes continued to dart around as they walked, every part of her on edge.

The sanity that had once been her own had abandoned the newborn, feral savagery had been all Blodwen had known as a vampire. The only one to speak to her was her master, and he spoke in small softly spoken commands. It seemed from the fear oozing off of him, the man hadn't thought his own plans through. They entered into a large open space, with that same mighty marble.

They were corralled into the center of the room, her master now beginning to shake. Several black cloaked vampires stood around the room, not including the the ones behind her. Ahead were three wooden thrones, each seating a different vampire. Part of her knew they were old, by the way their skin pulled tight in a way hers didn't. Each eye fresh red from a recent feed, just the thought made her throat ache and she let out a soft whimper subconsciously.

The noise drew the three to her before anyone spoke, all of them staring for a long moment, even by vampiric terms. Then the one on the left, smiled slightly causing an intake of breath from the blonde behind her shoulder. This stirred the other two into motion the middle vampire stood, perfect tailored black suit and silken hair as he approached. "Mia cara, it is a pleasure to meet you." The charm was evident in his voice, and she felt a flutter of nerves deep in her chest.

Though the more she looked at him, the more the newborn inside of her began to calm, she rose out of her defensive position feeling the warm calm of his presence. The man reached out for her hand, before quickly removing it again as if he'd changed his mind. She blinked, probably for the first time in days. The blonde man who'd been sitting on the right had also stood taking a step toward her the interest evident on each sculpted feature.

The only one who remained in his seat was the first who had smiled, though he just looked calm now. The aura of the room had changed when she'd made a noise, the blonde who stood was quick to speak turning to a brunette male along the wall, "Afton, go collect something for our guest to eat. Two will do." The plural had not been used.

Now named Afton with his thick curls and wiry frame, bid a gentle bow before quickly exiting the room. The man who had approached them, turned toward her master. Who seemed to have cheered right on up with the blondes orders speaking in a calm tone, "Excellent idea, I'd hoped that we could work something out."

Close up she could see the fibers of the long haired man's suit jacket, seeing the dyed fabrics in hyper detail. His hair was exceptionally well groomed hanging down to his shoulders; he took a step toward her master before holding out a pale hand. The leader had what her mother, with what little she could remember would have called piano hands. The memory brought a soft grin to her face, feeling more of her humanity than she had in the last few months since her creation.

The blonde was still gazing at her, gesturing toward the tall man behind her. At the man's word, her guard moved back to lean against the wall leaving her unguarded, but her master did not get the same treatment. The newborn was forced to quickly decide to defend the creature who had created her and made her only to kill in droves, or to abandon him completely. It seemed the blonde was waiting for her to make the same decision.

Closing her eyes for a moment to consider it, she nodded slightly to herself before taking two steps away. This seemed to please him as a cruel smile spread over his ivory cheeks. Turning her attention back to the one closest to her, who'd now taken her master's hand she in time to see anger fill his expression. This seemed to spur up the room, particularly the guard so close.

He stepped back wiping his hand on his trousers, despite her master's hands being clean. The anger, which seemed unnatural on his face despite the woman not having met him before, didn't dissipate. "I see." The cool accent ghosted over her, causing her eyes to fall closed again for a brief moment. Next he turned toward her, "Dolcezza, may I inquire to your feelings regarding your creator?"

It seemed an odd question for him to ask. Willing herself to speak, she was cut off again by the deep aching pain in her throat and only managed another whimper. "I've never heard her speak, my lord. She's mute."

The anger which had faded while he addressed her came back with a vengeance, swirling to face her master. "Of no consequence to you, with the intentions you had for her."

The blonde's voice came out again, his a smoother colder tone, "She's already made her choice, Aro." They shared a look as the newborn, memorized Aro's name. Without waiting any longer Aro turned and gestured his head in a nod to the girl beside them. The girl wasted no time looking toward the vampire who crumpled near instantly with a scream.

Expecting attack she threw herself further back, sliding into a low crouched position, a hiss leaving her throat as she prepared for the same treatment. Though no one seemed to look ill intent toward her, in fact Aro looked concerned, eyes drifting toward her deciding whether or not to try and approach. A long second passed, the screaming falling into a silent agony.

The man who'd been watching so keenly walked off the podium, approaching with a confidence that had her take another step back. At this he froze around two of so feet away, watching again. "My name is Caius," He pointed to each as he spoke their names, "Aro, and Marcus. We are the Volturi Kings, the leaders of this coven. What is your name?"

He seemed to be ignoring the fact that she couldn't speak. It took the newborn longer than she should have before coming to an answer, Blodwen Greene or as her family had called her Wendy. Despite having the knowledge to answer him, she opened her mouth and no sound came out.

Caius's brow furrowed at the lack of an answer, before turning to the man who still remained curled up on the floor. "What shall we do with him brother?"

Aro who had been observing the exchange frowned deep enough a wrinkle appeared on his brow. "He planned to dispose of her after her blood enrichment faded." Caius growled low and long the sound reverberating in the oval roofed space. She gazed around the room catching eyes with the last king, who was waving her over with his hand. Not wanting to suffer the same fate as her master, Wendy listened to the king walking briskly with bare feet toward him. She certainly must have looked a sight, hair down to her elbows, thick blonde strands that hadn't been brushed since she'd turned. Feet covered in dirt, the ankle length dress she wore was ripped in several spots.

The color was nearly indistinct at this point and what was left of her bra was showing on one side. Wendy was thin with slight curve, coming up at an average height of five foot seven. Really everything about her was average, and the distressed look on her outfit didn't help matters. Her freckles had remained after the change, though her hair had lightened slightly, lips less thin, eyelashes longer.

Coming to stop before him she paused unsure what to do next. Marcus seeming to pick up on her unease, gestured to the step beside his throne, with enough room to comfortably sit on the stone between the two chairs. Doing as he asked she crouched on the balls of her feet in the directed spot, not wanting to fully commit to the location. Instead of showing offense he just chuckled lowly, and said nothing.

Once she'd moved away, the guard let up her master though he remained on his hands and knees grunting from the exertion. Aro did not give him time to recover, reaching out and grabbing the vampire by the hair and pulling him to his feet. Caius and his brother was particularly efficient at disassembling the man who had created her before tossing him into the roaring fireplace in the room. Seeing the warring flames, made Wendy think they kept the fireplace for this very reason.

She shuffled back, muscles coiling to run for it, knowing that logistically she could never take these numbers. The blonde girl who'd trapped her master turned to look at her, "Shall I, Master?"

Aro's hand came down on her shoulder, "No, Jane. This is our guest." He looked at everyone in the room the gravity weighing, "She is not to be harmed, you will show her as much respect and fealty as you show the three of us. She is Amina Gemella to Caius and I."

Wendy wanted to know what that meant, as it caused the whole room to react one way or another. Though the sudden thud of heartbeats thundered in her ears and the pain came all over again. Afton reentered with two men, possibly in their thirties, both terrified. She could hear it in their thudding heartbeats. The sound a cacophony so beautiful she could have cried with how hungry she was.

Her whole body twitching with anticipation, Aro turning to look at her with a smile. "Such patience, tesoro. Feast and enjoy." That was all she needed to hear launching herself forward and grabbing one of them men by the shoulders before sinking her fangs into his jugular, careful not to make a mess she let him fall to the ground ignoring the gurgles of his last breaths. When the body ran empty, Wendy reached out snagging the wrist of the other pulling until she felt the bone pop.

Ignoring the scream she went for him the same way as his friend, lips attached to his throat as the pain in her own began to finally ease and the swimming of her thoughts calmed. Stepping back she was careful not to touch them, looking down at her work before briskly turning toward the kings again. During her meal, Aro and Caius had returned to the dais, but were staring with rapt fascination.

Wendy turned unsure once again how to proceed, as the bodies were grabbed to be disposed of. There wasn't a drop of blood on the floor or her lips, "Not only patient, but controlled. Truly a masterpiece, wouldn't you say?" Marcus gave that supportive smile again, while Caius nodded readily. "Let me introduce you to the others in the room," Aro began gesturing toward one of the vampires.

A woman stepped forward wearing tall black high heels from the sound of it and a long red dress. Her hair was brown, falling to her shoulders in straight elegant lines, face slightly round and eyes the same red as everyone present. "This is Chelsea."

Wendy nodded her head, feeling the tickle of humanity inside her after the recent feed, her focus now able to adjust accordingly. It seemed they had a use for her, and the threat at least for now was over, but if it were to stay that way she needed to be respectful.

"You've been partially introduced to Afton, who brought your food. Show her your little trick, boy." It was clear from the way Aro spoke he didn't put much stock in Afton or his ability. Though the vampire didn't react to the obvious dismissal instead giving a showman smile and disappearing from sight. It took her a moment to find him again across the room, narrowing her eyes as she saw the way he seemed to blend into his surrounding until she focused completely on him.

When he reappeared he gave a soft bow and went back to stand next to Chelsea, close enough it was clear they were together. Wendy could see the bond between them with the way they caught eyes, in love. Her master had once spoke of his 'mate' he'd called her, and the way she had been killed in the Southern Wars. It had been his intention to use her for that, but they'd never made it that far before they were intercepted and brought here.

Marcus's voice was warm, like crackling coals, "Have you met mates before?"

Wendy wondered why they kept asking her questions if she couldn't respond, luckily this one could be answered with a shake of her head back and forth. It had been the answer they were expecting. Aro gestured toward another vampire, who stepped forward. "Demetri, the one who brought you to us. He is our best tracker."

She looked at Demetri and the perfect posture in which he stood, hands resting behind his back. His robes were tight fitting, showing off a lithe but strong form. His hair was slightly unkempt with hints of red in the blondish strands and his smile was respectfully friendly as he gave her a low bow. There was something about him that made her feel like they would get along well so she gave him a smile in response which seemed to cause smiles from the kings in turn.

"You've also met Felix." The lumbering frame who had been standing over her before raised a single hand from his spot against the wall and inclined his head. He was more casual than some of the others, but Wendy found that helped with the intensity of the atmosphere so she smiled at him too.

"Jane is still standing to your left." Aro spoke, voice even. Wendy turned seeing the young girl, who stood only to her shoulder in height. From the look in her eye and the gift she obviously had she was far older than she looked. Wendy not wanting to be rude, stuck out her hand in a handshake toward the girl. She blinked at Wendy's hand for a moment before her eyes darted toward Aro and then another of the members close to her age before awkwardly sticking out her own hand. They shook briefly, but Jane was quick to pull away giving a respectful bow as she backpedaled to the wall.

Aro laughed at the sight, "You appear to have made our young Jane nervous." He chuckled again, the tone high, "Lastly, her twin Alec. His gift disables the senses." Once introduced the boy stepped forward, only a couple inches taller than his sister and gave a formal bow. "There are more of us of course, but all in due time. You will meet Heidi in the afternoon, she supplies us with our meals and you are welcome to dine with us. I remember the hunger in the beginning." Aro suddenly looked regretful, " Unfortunately, we have other meetings today, but you are welcome to choose someone to accompany you for the day. Remember you are our guest here, please go wherever you would like."

Pausing for a moment as she crushed her inner panic Wendy turned to face Demetri. He looked surprised for a moment, before a gracious smile appeared on his face. He stepped forward, instantly looking at the kings for further direction. It was Caius that spoke this time, "Give her the Velvet Room, and then show her around and make sure she's entertained. Don't be a bore like usual, Demetri. Return here when Heidi arrives."

Giving another bow he moved toward one of the side passages, instead of the way she had come causing Wendy to jostle forward to catch up. Once again worried about her manners she turned and threw up a hand in a silent farewell, surprised when all three kings smiled at her for the action. Aro even went as far as to hold his own back up in farewell.

They moved down a hallway lit by soft burning candles, which Wendy found were much kinder on the eyes than florescent light. The walls were made out of the same marble at first, but turned into soft grey stones, like some ancient castle. Both walked in silence for several moments, before Demetri began to speak. "We're headed to your rooms now, where you can get cleaned up if you would like."

He peeked over his shoulder for a reply, so she nodded her consent and they continued on in silence. It was another minute or so when they arrived at a large red wooden door. It was tall, at least seven feet and mimicked the other doors down the hall all in different shades of color. "This is our guest wing, though you're the only one visiting at this time. Each of the rooms is themed, so if you don't like your accommodations there are plenty of other rooms to choose from. Just," He paused thinking, "Shake your head no and I'll show you a different room."

It seemed he was being careful to please her so she gave an understanding smile. Demetri swung the door open so Wendy could step inside looking at the thick wool red carpeting, heavy drapes to block light, and a four poster bed. It reminded her of the Victorian red rooms she'd seen in museums. The memory slithered though her mind, of how she'd liked history at one point and going to museums.

The room as beautifully tailored as it was, made her feel small and enclosed despite it's size and she found herself shaking her head no without thinking about being disrespectful. Demetri however took it easily, "I agree, this room is hideous." Without meaning to a small laugh left her throat, tinkling like bells and it occurred to her that it had been the first laugh she'd ever made since becoming a creature of the night. He closed the door with a theatrical swing before gesturing down the hall, "Pick a door, any door."

Wendy giggled again one hand coming up to cover her mouth in surprise of it. She walked feeling lighter already, safer in this place that felt so secure to her fried nerves. Stopping before a door made of entirely white stone Wendy let out a breath as Demetri opened the door, pushing it inward.

The room inside that greeted her wasn't what she'd been expecting, but made her smile. She stepped into the room seeing the gentle yellow pine on the floor, covered with thick Persian rugs of all different colors. There was a seating area with dual white suede chaise lounges and a pure white and gold accented coffee table between them. There was a large king size bed covered in thick white blankets and a plethora of white and gold pillows. Across the wall where the headboard sat was a long line of mirrors covering the entire wall reflecting the light of the falling sun.

She looked at Demetri seeing the shimmer of his skin and her own hand as she lifted it to look. It was the first time she'd see the sun since the change, emotion smacking into her. Her master had forbade it, stating the sun would burn her to the ground. She'd spent her days hidden away in the sewers. It seemed he'd lied, as the sun reflected off her skin harmlessly. Wendy stepped forward looking into the mirror really seeing her full reflection for the first time.

Her whole body glittered like a thousand sparkling gems, the relief that she could still see the sun causing tremors to overtake her as she jerked forward pushing open the glass double doors leading out to the balcony, gripping the banister as gently as possible while looking out at the sun. Tears filled her eyes, but she was unable to shed them, only letting out a soft sigh.

Demetri followed behind slow and formal as he came to stand by her side. "You didn't know you could be in the sun, did you?" It was mostly rhetorical as they looked out at a large garden below them. "This courtyard is entirely enclosed on our property. You're welcome to walk with the sun or moon here, there are no humans. As you know, it's crucial we keep the secret, but here there is no one to hide from."

Overcome with emotion she continued to stand there until the sun dipped down out of sight, they stood vigil observing it like twinkling stars. He was patient with her, never rushing as the sun disappeared and night fell. The time gave her a moment to register everything. When turning back toward the room Demetri moved inside quickly lighting the candles at an inhumane speed.

The room looked just a gorgeous in the dusk as it did in the light. There were two doors opposite the mirrored wall, one led into an empty closet wide enough she could comfortably walk around it, this one with electrical lights. The other door led into a bathroom with a stained glass window out looking the garden below. The bathroom was similar to the white marble in the main hall, but this one held no streams of a darker shade.

There was a beautiful claw foot tub with the faucet in the middle, and a tiled walk in shower big enough for at least four people comfortably. It included a built in shelving unit and counter top with accompanying powder chair and another mirror for getting ready and no toilet in sight. It was the first bathroom she'd seen without one, but it made sense considering who the rooms were for. Demetri waited in the doorway.

"If you would like, I can fetch you something to change into and you can get cleaned up." It was clear enough she'd not showered since she was a human covered in an inch of grime, sewage, and blood. Excited to get cleaned she nodded vigorously, causing him to smile in return. "I will be back shortly." He pulled the door closed behind him, Wendy waiting until his footsteps disappeared down the hallway.

Standing in front of the mirror, she stripped out of the clothing paying attention to her strength as she removed them, the last thing she wanted was to damage anything. She took her time looking at her naked body in the mirror, she'd gone up a cup size, the bend in her back was more accentuated, her hips a tiny bit wider. Her hair was a birds nest, but she felt like it was still silkier than before.

Her bright red eyes met the mirror, taking in each new detail. Turning on the shower Wendy stepped into the lukewarm water with a grateful smile, though she couldn't much feel the temperature, unsure if it was frigid or scalding to a human. Ignoring it she began the process of cleaning off, waiting until the water at her feet was no longer brown before moving to her hair. There was a new bottle of rose scented shampoo in the shower so she used that, forgoing the body wash when the rose scent stifled her senses.

Stepping out of the shower she reached for one of the fluffy white towels and dried herself off, careful as to not rip the towel. Moving for the powder chair she sat gingerly, opening one of the drawers to find a comb and hair brush inside. Picking up the brush she went to brush out the knots before accidentally snapping off the handle on a knot. Looks like her hair got stronger too, sighing she decided just to use her fingers slowly working out all the knots until her hair hung wet in straight neat lines.

There was a light knock on the outer door to her rooms, "May I come in?" Demetri's voice spoke out before he cursed when he realized she couldn't respond. "Uh, knock twice if yes."

At this Wendy giggled before knocking as gently as she could on the marble counter, twice. He entered the main room, the shuffling of fabric following him in. She heard him go into the closet, hooks hitting the hangers before he exited again. "I'll wait in the hall until you're dressed. I brought several options, Corin is about the same size as you. Though I'm sure we can get you your own clothes as soon as possible." Without further word he disappeared back into the hallway.

Wrapping the towel along her torso, Wendy exited the bathroom to walk into the closet. There were three outfits inside, though she felt strange taking a stranger's clothes it wasn't like she could wear the one's she'd had before. There was a simple black dress, with no detailing and long sleeves coming down to the floor, a white loose fitting blouse with a pair of black slacks, and lastly a short vibrant orange dress with spaghetti straps and what looked like crystals at the hem. Not really caring for any of them she decided on the shirt and blouse taking the plain white bra and underwear left as well.

It felt good at very least to be properly covered as she pulled them on slipping into the black pumps that matched. She certainly hoped she'd be allowed to pick her own clothing. Walking out of the closet, Wendy opened the door of her room giving Demetri a smile before deciding on what she wanted to do next. Feeling silly, but not sure how else to put it, she mimed out writing to him.

At the gesture he looked slightly relieved before beginning to walk down the hallway. They weaved through several hallways before he stopped at a deep oak door next to several similar doors. "These," He pointed at the three other doors, "Are the Master's offices. This one isn't in use, but should have when you need." He opened the door stirring up a heap of dust as he did so.

It was clear no one had been in her in at least fifty years with the thick mots floating in the air. "Forgive me," He smiled, "I must have lost track of time." Somewhat bashfully he reached forward and pulled the sheet off of the desk and chair. They were old fashioned as well, thick wood and a leather bound chair. It certainly wasn't her style, but there was a window leading to another courtyard.

He pulled open a drawer pulling out a literal scroll of paper as well as a fountain pen and set it on the desk. "Will this do?" He seemed to be figuring out how to communicate with her as the day went on. Wendy shrugged before leaning over the desk with the pen in hand, remaining hunched over instead of sitting in the old worn leather.

She paused for a moment before writing, remembering how as the first letters left the pen. Her handwriting was slightly crooked do to the lack of lines and the letters varied in size like a child, but she forced herself to ignore that. The writing went as follows:

My Lords,

Thank you for allowing me to stay here, I have not known anything but my hunger since becoming a thrall. That is what, my master, said I am. I'm sorry, if that is not the correct term. We didn't talk much, well I didn't talk at all. I don't know why the words won't leave my mouth.

I've been mute since I was fifteen years old, it is a mental condition that being a thrall appears to not have cured. I don't know if I will ever speak again, but hope to. Really, I just want to thank you, this place is lovely though I'm not sure where it is. I did not know that the sun would not burn me to death, today I got to see it for the first time since the change. Sunsets are more beautiful to me now than ever before.

Demetri has been very kind. I am staying in the Crystal Room, he said it was okay for me to choose. The Velvet Room felt stuffy and claustrophobic to me. I'm so sorry if that's rude. Anyways thank you for letting me see your home and to use this paper to write this.

Signed,

Blodwen Greene, but I go by Wendy

It had been more than she had originally planned to write, but the idea of speaking to the kings excited her in a way she didn't fully understand. After writing her letter she blew on the ink to dry it, before rolling it back up. Then on a small scrap piece of paper she scribbled Wendy before holding it up for Demetri to see.

He read it before giving a friendly smile, "It's lovely to meet you, Wendy. I think you'll love it here." He glanced at a silver pocket watch pulled from his robe pocket. "They should be finishing up, I take it this letter is for them." Demetri pointed at the piece of paper she'd written, so Wendy nodded in confirmation. "Would you like to deliver it now?"

Another nod, Demetri hummed in agreement before moving out of the room and back the way they came. They walked in silence coming down the same passages they'd gone before exiting into the main room. The kings still sat on their thrones though looked to brighten upon their entrance, Wendy holding closely onto her note.

The nerves were beginning to kick in, but the heat of humans so close outside the door distracted her. Aro stood, walking toward her, "Is that for me, dolcezza?" Wendy froze pulling her attention away from the pounding heart beats the best she could, before shaking her head no and gesturing her hand at the other two kings as well. "Ah, for all of us." He held out a hand, back slightly bent as she placed the paper in his palm.

He straightened, before calling Heidi inside. Wendy's concentration broke unable to control herself and lunged toward the closest human. The meal was quick many of the other members partaking as well, leveling the entire crowd in a matter of minutes. When she pulled back from her craze, there was a copious amount of blood on the floor. It seemed not everyone was as clean as she was.

Wendy stared blankly as the bodies were quickly collected and a vampire she hadn't met, but kept their head low came in to mop the floor. After the feeding the guard seemed to head their separate ways, the only two remaining being Demetri and Jane. Aro glanced at them before excusing both, anxiously looking at the paper perfectly held in his hand, not a drop of blood on it.

She stood alone in the room as the mopper cleared off silently, with no one but the three most important members of the Volturi coven. The nerves hit all at once as she rubbed her palms on her trousers despite her palms being as dry as ever. Caius seemed to watch her out of the corner of her eye as Aro unrolled the paper holding it out before him. While he read the smile seemed to widen. "Oh, cuore mio."

He handed it to Marcus who read it with a look of contentment before handing it to Caius who read it quickly rolling it up again. There was a grin on his face she'd not seen before, slightly provocative in nature. "Kochanie, you woo us with your words." At this she blinked at him in surprise, there was no doubt that was a flirtation.

Aro smiled, bright enough to light up the room. "Allow me a moment to explain. Your master," He said the term with venom, "Was wrong in calling you a thrall, you are a vampire. You are all the elegance of our kind. This is Volturra, Italy and our home. This has been our home for nearly a millennium."

Caius cut in, "You can stay in any room you like, for as long as you'd like. My door is open for you." Wendy was truly pushed over the edge when he winked at her. "You need not speak, we will find a way to talk with you. There is something you should know," Caius shared a look with his brother confirming something. "Earlier you told us that Chelsea and Afton were the first mates you have met. Is that correct?"

Wendy nodded in confirmation, watching as Aro sat back down, crossing his leg elegantly. She found herself staring longer than necessary, before her eyes drifted back to Caius who was speaking. His voice drew a kind edge to it now that they were alone, "Marcus found his mate long ago, though she is no longer with us."

At this Marcus cut in, low tones as he spoke through the room voice raspy form misuse. "My Didyme is gone, but my gift is to see the bonds between people. I can see mates, friends, siblings, and so forth. When you entered the room today, Wendy, I saw your bonds." He sat up in his chair, preparing for the words, "Between you and I there will be a life long deep friendship. Being near you, it brings calm in my agony."

This filled Wendy's eyes with venom, she'd spent her life with no one. Her parents had died when she was fifteen, the rest of her life spent in foster care until she was old enough to go to college. She'd been twenty four when she'd died, never wanted again. There had been no close relationships since she was a child, to hear of a eternity long friendship helped the loneliness that clung so steadily to her soul.

"That is not all, I have followed the line to your mate." At this she couldn't help but stare. "In this I saw something peculiar, for the first time in all my eternity your mating line goes to two. You are Amina Gemella to both Aro and Caius."

Wendy sat down so suddenly the marble underneath her cracked slightly, causing both Aro and Caius to rise to their feet in alarm. "Felix!" The lumbering vampire was there in a moment awaiting a command and ready for a threat. "Fetch paper and pen immediately." Without question he was gone again, back in less than a minute with the materials. Caius ripped the utensils out of his hand. "Get out."

With much more care the blonde walked forward, crouching down before her. "Tell us how you feel, Wendy." The amount of hope in his eyes, brought on emotions she barely knew how to write down. Though the blonde knew how important it was to do so. Unsure how to put it Wendy just wrote the only thing she thought was important. One single sentence that decided everything.

I am glad to have found both of you.

She slid the paper back toward them, the nerves beginning to curl up and down her gut again. Caius read it first, a massive smile spreading across his face. "I have waited a hundred lifetimes for you, mo chuisle."

Aro read it next adopting the same look of joy as he crouched down on the other side of her. "You are the light in which I have been denied all my existence, amore mio."

Unable to speak an affirmation back, Wendy just reached out and took Aro's hand with her left and Caius's with her right and squeezed; trying to show them just how much this meant not only to them, but also to her as well. A start to a new and better forever.
