I wasn't expecting such lovely reception! Thank you. I will admit I am having a blast writing this. Let me know if there's anything you'd love to see these three get up to! i'm taking requests. ;)

They stayed like that for several minutes, relishing in the touch of forever, before finally rising; though both men clung to her hands as she shifted upward looking apologetically at the crack in the marble, which Aro quickly waved away dismissively. Aro seemed far more pleased with the continued touching than she understood, wondering why he looked so intently at her hand from time to time. Caius also seemed annoyed with this fact occasionally throwing glares at the side of his brother's head.

"Is there something you would like to mention, Aro?" The blonde's glare continued to intensify, causing Wendy to automatically squeeze his fingers, deflating some of the anger immediately.

Aro straightened his shoulders at the insinuation. "She took my hand, Caius. I was not about to refuse." He turned toward her an apologetic look coming onto his face. "I have a gift, dolcezza, when I touch someone skin to skin I learn things." He paused. "I can read every thought and memory you have ever had. I promise that anything I see I will not share, even to you until you are ready for me to know it. I apologize for the intrusion, but this is not something I have control over."

Wendy instantly pulled her hand out of his grip, fear spreading through her, until the look of hurt crossed his features and her hand snapped back forward to take it again. She shook her head back and forth several times trying to apologize and frustrated that she wasn't able to just say it. Desperate Wendy pulled away from Caius, wrapping both her arms around Aro's torso.

He froze against her touch, before wrapping his strong arms around her, letting out a hum of approval as he placed his chin on top of her head. "You will talk again, Wendy. We will help you." Aro kissed the top of her hair, causing a burst of warmth to spread through her chest. "I see you're using Corin's clothes." The dark haired man looked down at her with a smile. "Do you like them?"

It was strange knowing that through his gift Aro already knew the answer to the question, yet he'd asked it anyway. With that knowledge in mind it seemed silly to lie, Wendy shook her head no. It felt easier to 'speak' her mind, now that she knew why she was being welcomed into their home so freely. With the recent news it looked like this would be her home for many years to come, plenty of time to get to know the two men before her. The woman felt insanely lucky to have not only found her mate, but to have two of them.

Pulling back, she retook Caius's hand, glancing back between the two. Wendy didn't want either to feel as if they were being favored less than the other. It would have been hard to believe in her mates if Marcus himself hadn't seen it and the whole coven was taking it easily for fact. Then there was also the case of how she felt with each of them touching her.

"Until then, how would you like Caius to take you shopping for some new clothing?" At this both blondes looked substantially interested, perking up at the words.

"That sounds like a perfect idea, Aro." When she turned toward him he continued, "Forever is a long time, you'll need clothing. Unless you'd like to spend your time in only what the Gods gave you." At her indignation, Caius grinned wide stepping closer just to goad her.

Aro raised an eyebrow at the directness, but didn't say anything regarding it. "I have some letters that need to be taken care of, but you enjoy yourself, tesoro. I would have nothing less, as long as I get to observe each piece of fabric lucky enough to graze your skin as the days pass."

Caius removed his hand so that she could hug Aro once more before they left. The other waited with a vampire's patience, offering the crook of his elbow. Wendy took it, giving Aro one last smile before they began to walk away. She could feel his eyes on her until they passed a curve in the hall disappearing from sight.

The two walked in comfortable silence, Wendy holding onto his black trench coat as they walked in tandem, looking up at him as they went. He was polite enough to pretend he didn't notice the heavy gaze. Caius dressed in a time that no longer existed, his hair aging the youth on his pale face.

She decided then and there she didn't like his hair, too old fashioned for the masculine demeanor in which he held himself. Wanting to ask him how long he'd had his hair in the same style, she came to a pause waiting for him to look at her before grabbing a strand of her now dry hair, then pointed at his, and then her wrist where a watch would be.

Caius took a pause, obviously thinking. "How long have I," He paused seeing the way she tugged at a strand of her hair again. "Had my hair like this?" Wendy smiled relieved he'd gotten it before more miming was necessary. The blonde thought silently tracing the time back until the memory he'd decided on this particular haircut. "Around seven centuries I suppose."

The response drew an exaggerated exasperation as she shook her head, causing him to smirk. "Do you not like it, Wendy?"

The bluntness took her off guard as they began to move again, but from what she gathered that was Caius. His entire personality was domineering and rough, not stopping to be anything less or more than what he naturally was. The amount of confidence rivaled any man she'd ever met, it was an incredibly attractive trait to be granted in a mate. Feeling his personality embolden her own, Wendy shook her head no, before grinning up at him in challenge.

At this he laughed loudly, the sound echoing in the underground garage full of perfectly parked luxury cars. One was already pulled up for them, with a vampire she didn't recognize in the driver's seat. Caius reached out pulling open the back door for her gesturing the woman inside. The seats were leather, the whole car reeking of 'new car scent' which grated instantly on her nerves. Sliding the door closed he walked around climbing into the seat next to her, neither buckling their seat belts.

Caius took one glance at her before rolling down the windows. Without needing direction they were off, the driver must have been informed ahead of time. "So, dynan, how would you prefer my hair?"

Unsure how to answer that question without words Wendy shrugged, leaning into the seat as they left the garage into the night. It felt strange to be paraded in a fancy car, traveling among the humans like they were of the same breed. The hunger was lessened by the amount she'd drank today, far more than she'd been allowed in the past. It seemed like for the first time in her vampiric life, the fog had lifted allowing natural thought.

Caius reached out grabbing her fingers with that same agonizingly attractive grin, showcasing perfect white teeth. He pulled her arm until her fingers were running through his silken strands, surprised at how soft they felt between her digits. "Show me. I desire to make you want me, as much as I wish to consume you."

Despite needing to, the woman forced a swallow, fingers twitching in his hair as she asked for permission once more with her eyes. He gave his consent with another nod, before closing his eyes. Committing to it Wendy began to use both hands to disrupt the perfect symmetry of his hair instead ruffling it and pushing it slightly to one side so it had more volume over the top of his head.

The slightest change already made him look different, so she continued pulling away the thick red scarf he wore to reveal the smooth contour of his pale neck, eyeing the silvery scars from past altercations. She traced on distractedly, interested when he shivered slightly in response and memorized that knowledge for later.

Popping open the top button of his dress shirt she went back to his hair mussing it further until it was mostly on one side, the other stubborn strands being tucked behind his ear. Ten minutes of work wiped hundreds of years off of him, smiling at her work. The attraction she'd had toward him already seemed to magnify a hundred times over, making the woman readjust her legs until they were crossed tightly.

Wendy was grateful at least the windows cycled air through the car before the scent could grow too strong. The last thing she wanted was for the driver to catch on. Though she wasn't stupid enough to not know he'd be able to smell her arousal. The ancient man just pursed his lips slightly before smiling, eyes still closed.

It was another breath, before he opened his eyes, looking at her. The orbs were dark despite the recent feed, causing Wendy to feel like a human all over again; like a doe in headlights waiting for the car to strike, frozen in trepidation for the feeling of strong hands on her waist. They never came, instead she watched his desire fade back to normal interest.

"In the sake of transparency, there is something I'd like to discuss with you." Caius seemed slightly nervous, causing Wendy to sit up straighter at the change in mood, her own want fading quickly. "As you know Aro, Marcus, and I are the protectors of our kind, the law. A lot of eyes remain on us, so some thousand years ago Aro and I decided it would be the best for our public image to take wives."

This hadn't been what she'd expected as she blinked at him. "This was a political decision on our part, no love lost between Sulpicia or Athendora. Now that you are here we will be taking the proper measures for their impending retirement from Volturi service. I wanted to tell this to you as soon as possible, so you understand very clearly this is not a competition. We have been waiting for you and only you."

Wendy blinked at him, trying to wrap her head around the sudden news before she nodded. What he said made sense, and the honesty and worry in his voice made his point just as much. They weren't keeping these wives a secret, there didn't look to be an ounce of regret in Caius for this large decision. She nodded again giving him a kind smile that had the blonde deflating in his seat in relief.

"Thank you for your understanding, it relieves my soul to know your acceptance of me." Not wanting to dissuade this, Wendy moved forward lying her head down on his shoulder, pretending sleep was still possible as they drove. Caius having spent much of his long life doing the same, wrapped an arm around her shoulders and let them move along in silence.

The bright light of the city pulled her eyes open as she looked around, taking in the buzzing of neon lights and the soft titter of humans out on late night shopping sprees. Caius seeing the curiosity explained, "This part of Rome never sleeps, it's mostly for tourist humans, but I think it will suit your needs well." He slid out of his seat walking around the side of the car to open the door.

Almost instantly Wendy could feel the stares, all focused on Caius with his modern hair and button up looked like a supermodel. His perfect body would have ended up on a poster in her childhood bedroom. The blonde may as well have been an Adonis among men, causing the newborn's beast to rise as she quickly exited the car. Reaching forward Wendy caught his elbow pulling her mate backward with a grip strong enough years of combat saved him from losing footing.

The sound of fabric ripping slightly was the only thing that kept the whole sleeve from being pulled off in her need to pull him toward her. She started to let go, wanting to stutter out a thousand apologies, but it all faded into nothing when he turned and looked at her. The biggest smile she's ever seen on his face, was a spotlight on her frozen heart. Caius placed his hand over top of her own holding it firmly to his arm, stepping to the side so he was only a breath away from her.

"Mo chuisle, careful. I may be forced to love you for an eternity if you do that again." He smirked, the point of his fang showing for a half second as the car pulled away. If she could blush, Wendy would have been scarlet and that would have no doubt intrigued him more. "Come." They walked like one of the many human couples she saw on the street, their elegance not lost on anyone as they pretended not to watch the two.

It still took some concentration to move like one of them, but Caius helped with his hand over her own, giving the smallest squeeze whenever she started to move too fast. It was lucky that they were both blonde, and red eyes were a possible trait to albinism, with how pale they were it was an easy conclusion to draw. It also explained their need to be outside at night, as many struggled with skin conditions.

"I'll follow your lead." He teased, voice close to her ear. "Ripping my clothes off, is always an option." Wendy giggled, unable to help the girlish glee that had overtaken her. Finally she was free, no longer held down by any kind of overseer. There had always been so much to do in her human life: foster homes, chores or danger to watch out for. At college, she had gone to college hadn't she, there's been a job and school work.

As a vampire she'd been under someone else's thumb, pushed into the shadows until it was time to feed again. Standing here with a king, one who was bound to her forever, Wendy felt like an eight year old with a crush staring up at him in wonder; as if she were stunned boys even existed. Peeking into a clothing shop, she observed the variety of second hand clothing before turning in that direction.

At first he didn't say anything, following her easily into the shop, until she started checking price tags. That seemed to stir the man, "Are we in this store because you like the selection, or because you're worried about the price?" The look on her face confirmed what he'd thought. He chuckled before turning her right back around and back out onto the street, moving in the direction he knew the high end shops to be.

She moved without complaint, though he could see the guilt worrying on her features as they walked. Leaning down again, he spoke into her ear voice low with amusement, "I don't think you realize, pet, just how much money you are now in possession of. What is ours is now yours, that included the wealth that Aro and I both possess. We have been alive for two millennia, it gives one time to collect a fortune."

Next he said a number that made her choke on her own venom as she stared up at him, eyes wide as saucers as the king laughed. Next they entered a store ritzy enough they were instantly greeted by a woman in a green designer dress, speaking in quick fluid Italian, apparently having no time for American tourists. It was lucky for her Caius was fluent, responding to whatever she had said.

Whatever his response had been. the brunette was quick to take them on their way. She pulled open the fabric curtain to one of the two dressing rooms and said something else toward him before moving back to the front. Caius released Wendy taking a step to the side to sink into the posh armchair outside the room, next to the large three panel mirror.

"You're welcome to choose anything you like. Stop looking at price tags." He warned, as she walked off toward the hangers and shelving. The employee seemed to keep her distance, staying behind the counter, watching the door for other customers. Wendy focused back on the clothing, deciding to try on several different types. Taking the pile back toward the dressing room, she entered pulling the curtain carefully behind her

Her time with her master hadn't been spent trying to blend in, but to do the opposite. Everything she did, she was supposed to do it at full strength, to push her body to capacity. Now having to watch her strength, well it was a good thing she'd fed twice that day.

It was another slow and painstaking experience to try on the clothes, she started with the undergarments first, knowing she'd need some of those. After she had a good dozen picked out she set them to the side, moving to several different blouses and types of pants putting the ones she liked to the side. After that it was the dresses, all of which were rejected except for one.

Wendy stood there for a long time, tilting her body in front of the mirror in the dressing room, trying to decide if she had the courage to step outside in it. Deciding to be bold, as she had a feeling Caius quite liked bold Wendy stepped out of the curtain, coming to stand in front of him silently. The dress was a dark crimson silk, held up by thick lace that fell all the way down to the floor in the back.

The top was a boat cut, not extremely modest, but not too much either. The fabric trained out behind her by a foot, tightening perfectly at the waist to make her feel like a movie star. Caius didn't respond just froze, fingers curling into fists. Wendy gave a soft spin with a self conscious smile. This seemed only to turn him further into stone, until a phrase she didn't recognize fell from his mouth. From what she could tell it might have been Greek, but the blonde had no way of knowing for sure.

After his shock passed the man seemed to come to his senses, raising himself up from the chair stepping toward her with a suave smile. He came to stand slightly behind her, looking delicious in his dark suit, long coat, and windswept hair. He seemed to be looking at himself as much as her taking in the way she'd changed his perfectly crafted facade. Next Caius spoke, voice low enough that only she with her acute senses could hear it. "You most certainly may have found a new way to strike down a vampire."

His eyes were black in the mirror as he leaned down to place a gentle kiss to the crook of Wendy's neck. She smiled at the sight, feeling her bones fall into jelly as the woman leaned all her weight back into him. The next words that came out of his mouth would have had her stuttering, "We're buying two." The connotation wasn't to be confused with any other meaning, the sounds of fabric ripping and loud panting just there in the back of her mind.

Unable to respond Wendy just gave him a long nod and smiled, slipping back into the dressing room to change into the clothes she'd come in with. They left quickly after, Caius handling the payment with swift uncaring lines of Italian. He insisted on holding her bags as they left, travelling to three more shops before calling the car around. With ten thickly loaded bags of clothes, they headed back the way they'd come, arriving just at the edge of dawn.

With bags in hand, Caius followed her through the halls, Wendy glancing at him several times through the walk. She'd been slightly surprised that he hadn't shouldered the bags off on someone else, as that seemed the kind of thing a king would do. Instead he seemed contented in following her down the stone hallways.

They entered into her room, Wendy politely waving him inside. The sun had risen, bringing in gentle rays that hinted at a cloudless day. She stared at it, the wonder coming back all over again, before she heard the closet door open. Turning she watched him come into the sun, the light instantly refracted off of his skin in a way that would have stolen her breath away.

A moment later there was a knock on the door, Caius turned pulling it open to reveal Aro standing in the doorway. He wore the same outfit he had earlier, not a wrinkle out of place. He stepped inside, a wide grin spreading across his face as the sunlight reflected next over his own skin. There'd never been anything more fascinating to look at. "Wendy, I brought you gifts."

He held them forward revealing a thick leather wrap. Inside was a plethora of loose paper, and a set of normal pens. "So Caius may know your thoughts as well as I." She took it gratefully moving to sit on the edge of the bed, legs curling beneath her. They both seemed to soften at the sight, but remained silent. It felt good to know that she would have her own clothing, and this room would become her own.

The light filtering through the glass doors was a blessed addition for her, the bed sheets soft against her porcelain skin. Pulling out a single piece of paper she began to write, still being careful not to snap the pen and cover her bed in ink. Taking longer than she was proud of, the vampire held out the paper to Caius.

Thank you for your hospitality and showing me a world I had never seen before. It will no doubt remain a precious memory to me. You have been lovely to get to know, the little I do know. I want to know more about both of you. Tell me everything. The hair suits you, you don't need to look so severe, as I feel like you could hold your own against any threat to the Volturi.

I always employ the show don't tell technique. Never let anyone know you on the outside, what you can do. Same as I never showed my master what I could do. I believe I heard they were called abilities, maybe gifts. I'd love to show both of you soon, though I guess Aro already knows. That will take some getting used to, but I'll adjust quickly I'm sure.

Also, I'm glad you liked the dress though I don't know when I would wear such a thing. What did you say when you saw me in it? It wasn't a language I was familiar with.

Caius's eyes scrolled across the page breathing in the words of his mate with eagerness. His first response was to quiff his hair more into a disarray giving a teasing smile as he did so. "You didn't mention our Wendy was gifted, Aro."

"I knew it was only a matter of time before she showed us, brother. It's not something she'd ever had the chance to push to its limits, always acting in secret. You will no doubt be impressive, bella." Aro took a step further into the room, leaning against the bedpost.

Whatever Caius had to say next obviously amused him as he strolled to stand before her, one finger tilting the woman's chin up. His grip was firm, but gentle in equal measure. "As for what I spoke earlier, I believe it translates loosely to fucking delectable."

Wendy swallowed, eyes catching with his as they stared at each other. She found herself sucking in quick needy breaths out of some former habit and could feel Aro watching her with the same fascination she'd seen in his eyes before. Such sculpted gods, these men carved from stone, looking at her like she was the holy grail. It was enough to make anyone fall apart.

Her tongue darted over her lips, knowing in her heart this was everything she'd ever wanted. She felt safe and secure, as if nothing could touch her here. Throat tightening, her whole body rebelling in on itself. "Caius." The word was barely audible, scratchy at best, but it was her voice. At the sound the blonde sank to his knees before her, the happiness pliable in the air. Turning to the other man she forced the word through her lips, desperate to speak for them, "Aro."

At the sound of his name Aro moved forward to sit beside her, just an inch from touching. He seemed hesitant to touch her now that she knew of his gifts. Wanting nothing more than to dissuade this notion before it took root in his mind, Wendy reached out and took both their hands, squeezing gently as to not hurt either. At her touch the long haired man sighed, lips parting slightly as he turned to smile at her.

"You have the voice of a God, dolcezza." At this Caius nodded his agreement lifting her hand so she would press it against his smooth cheek, holding her palm there. Unable to make herself speak any further after so long, she just smiled at them falling into a comfortable silence. "You must be hungry, we've had Chelsea bring some entirely for your needs while you adjust."

At his words Wendy was reminded of the ache, surprised with how easy it had been to gather control when in the presence of her mates. The word was becoming more familiar to her the longer she thought on it. Nodding her consent Wendy looked down at her borrowed clothes, before gesturing toward the closet.

Neither responded, but both seemed to sink into their spots to tell her they were fine with waiting. First thing she did was collect the other clothing that had been lended, setting it behind Aro on the bed. Next she began the process of hanging up her new clothes, shaking her head when Aro rose to help her. She just waved him down again, before continuing her organization. Staring at the tags she frowned before changing her mind and gesturing Aro over.

He came to stand in the space beside her. Wendy held out her hand for him, knowing that was the easiest way to explain what she needed without going for the paper she'd just been given. Letting go off her hand, Aro gave her a wide understanding grin. The expression seemed to light up the entire room, so much so Wendy couldn't hold back the urge to smile in return.

The two grinned at each other for too long, Aro looking light and carefree as he began the process of removing the tags for her. It would take some time and practice before she trusted herself to remove something so delicate. So far she'd avoided breaking anything in Voltura other than the floor, but she had a feeling that wouldn't always be the case. With help everything was hung up and presentable, Aro noticed with interest in color coded order.

Wendy traced the fabrics hanging, trying to decide what to wear that day, reaching out to rub her knuckles against Aro's in question. He responded almost immediately, "Unfortunately some business draws us away from the city. I've requested Jane and Alec to accompany you for the day. Do not be fooled by our little ladies disposition, underneath the stare of a vixen lies a very kind soul. I believe she may take your arrival the hardest, as she's always seen me as a father figure. Jane may feel you are removing her from the equation in a way."

Caius let out a noise of disapproval, "The little witch will be fine, Aro. She knew this day would come."

Aro raised an eyebrow in challenge at his brother. A hand came out and lightly smacked the back of Caius's head, Wendy stood there one hand perched on her hip, lips pursed in heavy disapproval. She stubbornly walked toward her new notebook pulling out one of the papers to write in large letters. Family is family. Don't be rude.

The eldest laughed at Caius's expression when he read it. The blonde shrugged like a scolded child, but then smiled ruely afterward regardless. "Get dressed, dynan." He teased. She reached out and ruffled his hair further before moving toward the closet, pulling the door closed with what would have been a blush. Deciding not to turn on the light, she looked in the darkness trying to decide how she wanted to spend the day.

When they'd gone shopping she'd been very thorough getting things for various types of events, casual, and situations in between. She'd never been able to spend so much money in her life. It was hard to accept this was her forever, the money, prestige, and two beautiful men spelled out eternity. Deciding on a knee length yellow sundress Wendy slipped it on looking down at herself.

It was tight in the chest, showing a bit more cleavage than she'd done before. The dress loosened at her waist falling in loose waves to her knees. The material was held up by thick straps that ran all the way down to the small of her back, revealing her entire back, except where the straps lay. To match she added white pumps and a pearl necklace that fell just above the rounded cut.

Content with it she pulled open the door walking out into the now brightly lit space. The sun had fully risen, bathing the room with a sparkling glow. Seeing the two waiting for her she gave a small spin and giggled, feeling pretty while she looked in the mirror. "Magnifica." Aro whispered, grinning like a mad fool as his hands came together in a clap of approval.

Caius took longer to speak, drinking in the yellow and the way it complimented her blond strands, which she'd tied back in a low ponytail. "Latria mu Wendy, I will need time to think of more words to describe your beauty."

"There will never be any good enough, brother. We have an impossible task." Aro walked toward her holding out the crook of his arm in invitation. She smiled at him, looping her hand through only to find Caius had come to rest on her other side offering the same thing. Wendy giggled again, the sound swirling through the air like sugar gumdrops, before placing her other hand with him.
