My Pov

We met Louis, Marlon and another girl at the gate. Marlon was still calling for Rosie, but got no answer. Was she his sister or girlfriend? Marlon turned to me and Clementine.

"You give them their weapons back?" Marlon asked, looking at Louis. We pulled our knives out. "Good. We're gonna need you to put them to use. We've got a hunting party out there trying to get back inside. Need our help to clear the way. Seems to be a few more than usual these last few days." The girl then spoke.

"It's almost like something drew their attention. Something like... I don't know... an explosion. Or a car crash." the girl said, the snideness in her voice.

"Vi..." Marlon warned.

"What? Just saying." she said.

"I don't think we've met. I'm Clementine and this is Laura." Clementine said.

"Yeah, I know. Your kids won't stop talking about you." the girl said.

"Look, about the car crash. We're really sorry about that. The whole situation just got out of hand." I said.

"Whatever you say." she said. I heard Louis clear his throat.

"Hello, Clementine and Laura. I'm Violet. Nice to meet you." Louis said, sounding like he was trying to imitate Violet's voice.

"What he said." Violet said. The current lookout, whose name was Willy, called down to us.

"All right, boys and girls. They're starting to fill in!" Willy said. Violet went out first and Marlon turned to us.

"Be careful out there." he advised. We all charged out and started taking out the Walkers. Louis even pointed out the traps they had set for the Walkers. "Looks like they made it back." I looked and noticed two figures carrying torches and two other figures close behind. We hurried across the small bridge and met up with the hunting party. It consisted of two boys and two girls.

"Nice timing. We're not gonna be able to hold them off much longer." Violet said.

"No kidding. Where'd all these Walkers come from?" one of the girls asked. She had red hair and blue eyes. We all started to go back toward the school when mine and Clementine's Digivices started beeping. She and I exchanged a knowing look. That's when it happened. Except it didn't happen like normal. Normally what would happen each the time when an evil Digimon was coming into our world, the remaining Walkers started gathering together until they formed a large Digimon. Except, these two just appeared from nowhere.

"What the fuck is that?!" one of the boys exclaimed. I pointed my Digivice at it. Their data registered and the information screen popped up.

"Blossomon and Toropiamon. A Ultimate level Plant and Dinosaur Digimon." I said.

"Where are you? Where are you?!" Blossomon screeched.

"Here... Here..." Toropiamon murmured. The other kids were confused. I was too. Were they DigiDestined too and these Digimon were here to hurt them?

"Come on, Laura!" Clementine said. We both held up our Digivices. Both Patamon and Salamon appeared.

"Don't stand in the way! Ninja Flower!" Blossomon exclaimed. Bladed flowers were shot at us.

"Petal Carnage!" Toropiamon exclaimed. Everyone just managed to dodge it. Before Blossomon or Toropiamon could attack again, something stopped them.

"Diamond Shell!"

"Nightmare Syndrome!"

A yellow ball hit Blossomon and a black cloud hit Toropiamon. I saw an armadillo and a boar-like Digimon.

"Sissy!" Michael and Blake cried as they ran to our sides. They only called us that when they were scared. I deduced that these were their partners who digivolved to Rookie.

"You'll pay!" Blossomon yelled. That's when our four Digivices glowed. We all nodded, held them up and yelled out;

"Digivolve!"

Our Digimon were cloaked in light as they digivolved.

"Patamon digivolve to... Meicoomon!"

"Salamon digivolve to... Darcmon!"

"Tapirmon digivolve to... Seasarmon!"

"Armadillomon digivolve to... Tortamon!"

Now they had a chance. They went on the attack.

"Strong Carapace!" Tortamon exclaimed. He shot multiple spikes from his body, all of them hitting Blossomon and Toropiamon.

"Energy Ray!" Seasarmon exclaimed. He fired a ball of light at both Blossomon and Toropiamon.

"Dancing Sword!" Darcmon exclaimed. She slashed Toropiamon and Blossomon with her sword. They were on their last legs.

"N-no...!" Blossomon gasped.

"We... must... find..."

Meicoomon jumped in the air to deliver the final blow.

"X-Scratch!" Meicoomon exclaimed. She rammed her claw through Blossomon and Toropiamon's heads, causing them to be reduced to data. However, they both instead reverted to In-Training Digimon know as Tanemon. Clem and I both picked up one of the Tanemon. Our Digimon reverted back to Rookie and the other kids looked at us in shock.

"Well... that happened." Louis said.

"We'll explain everything. Let's just get back inside first." Clementine said. We all walked back into the school gate. We were then formally introduced to the rest of the school. There was Brody, Aasim, Susanna, Mitch, Ruby, Omar, Violet's younger sister Daisy and Tenn. Even Rosie, who turned out to be Marlon's dog. We ate dinner and then decided to explain to them what had happened. Everything that Labramon had told me seven years prior. They all seemed to believe us. Why wouldn't they after what they just saw? So, after eating dinner, me and Clem played a game of War with Louis, Violet and Marlon before finally turning in for the night. We settled into the room Marlon set us up in. We made a small place for the Tanemon, who were still unconscious.

"I really like it here Laura." Michael said.

"Me too." Blake said.

"Yeah. This seems to be a good place. Hopefully this can be a permanent place for us." I said.

"Well, we just need to show them we can be valuable to their community." Clementine said.

"We will. I don't have that feeling I usually get. This place is good." I said. We all turned in and for the first time in a long time, I fell into a peaceful sleep.
