Hi everybody!
I'm back!
Don't hesitate to give a comment to transform me into a flying rocket writer!
Have a nice reading and enjoy some worried to death Katsuki!
(Never forget - I only do happy endings!)
"Kidnapped?! But nobody was kidnapped! Oh my god, I think I'm having an asthma attack!" Kodi panicked.
"Don't lie! I saw you take away five of my friends from the shelter! Omegas! insisted the young cat hybrid woman, threatening.
She was rather thin and petite, and she was probably the same age as him, but Kodi was easily impressed in life.
"Really, this is a misunderstanding! It's not a kidnapping! It's a rescue!" he explained, the coffee mug in the air.
"A rescue? How come?! You're bounty hunters! It's to sell them I'm sure! It's that bastard alpha's idea! Mirio!" asserted the short girl.
She had red piercing eyes, kinda similar to Bakugou's and it was making Kodi shit in his pants.
"Mirio is uh...my grandma...Inko's benefactor? He wouldn't lie to her! He asked us to take those omegas to the Milky Way border to be saved by a charity who actually cares about their fate," explained Kodi.
The blond girl frowned and subtly lowered her weapon.
"Grandma Inko? Inko is your grandmother?" she asked.
"Yeah! I...it seems so."
"What do you mean it seems so?"
"Well, a week ago, we thought she was dead but she was not. Which is wonderful by the way and she asked Mirio to find people to save those kids. He asked us. The captain, my father, agreed on the mission because he saw Inko, his mother in law, on a photo and by a happy accident we're all happy and reunited and it's a magical fairy tale."
"Ok...How do I know they will be treated right, there?"
"...I don't know! Because it's the Milky way? They care about omegas in there. I can show you some pamphlets about the association if you want! It's a secret mission though, you shouldn't talk about it when you'll be back home..."
"...You really don't seem to be a threat," she said by judging him.
"That's the story of my life."
She lowered her knife and stowed it back in her boot but she didn't let her guard down.
"How did you get in?" the rabbit asked, crossing his arms. "What's your name?"
"My name is Haruka. I'm part of Inko's shelter. I'm born on Babala and I'm an omega, as you can tell yourself even if you seem stupid."
"...Wow, are you sure you're not related to my father?"
"Both my parents were cats, Creepy rabbit. I intend to make sure my friends are treated well! I want to see with my eyes that you really take them in the Milky way!"
"Okay! Um…Haruka is that it? I-"
At the same time, Luna entered the engine room. She frowned, grabbed a laser gun from a gun rack and pointed it at the girl. Kodi interjected.
"It's okay sis! She's a stowaway who was just worried about her omegas friends! She's not a threat! She wants to see where we take them!" he exclaimed.
"Sis? She's your sister? But she's so...taller and prettier!" said Haruka.
Kodi turned around with an annoyed smile.
"I have other qualities!" he answered.
"...Yeah, right!" the cat omega said with a big amount of irony.
"I like her already!" exclaimed Luna with a charming smile. "But what the actual fuck Kodi, why didn't you report her to dad?"
"She's from grandma's shelter, she just wants to make sure her friends are okay. If I tell dad, he'll bring her back and she'll be worried forever!" explained Coffee with heart.
"...So what? You want to hide her in your room or something like that ? Is she even telling the truth?" Luna asked with a laugh.
Suddenly, Izuku's kind voice echoed through the ship's speakers and their watches.
"Attention please. We will be going into speed Zero soon, to go to the Milky Way. Please all buckle up securely. Luna, go help our cargo's members to attach themselves properly."
"Ok, no time, we'll discuss this after the travel," said Luna to her brother and the newcomer. "Go tie her up so she's safe for the trip, and us, safe from her. Let's put her in my room."
She took the young blonde by the shoulder and she violently withdrew her arm.
"Don't touch me, alpha!" she exclaimed.
The children hid her and settled into the main room with their parents and the crew as if nothing.
Bakugou kissed the top of Izuku's head before sitting down next to him and when everyone was ready they went away at full speed.
But something went wrong very quickly. Izuku found himself, at the dangerous speed Zero, in a large asteroids field and his main radar seemed to malfunction since it had obviously failed to report to him such a vital piece of information.
Yet he had checked everything an hour before. What were the chances for a glitch like this to happen?
Somebody knew what happened. Everything in Kodi's head clicked in an instant.
That fucking cable. He had forgotten about it as soon as it happened.
Because he had spilled his coffee on her, the young Haruka had stepped back suddenly and tore a big cable in the engine room. That portion of cables were linked to the main radar of the ship. He remembered that Denki had let them out because he was working on them.
"THE FUCK?! DEKU, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Bakugou panicked as he saw the asteroids brush against them. The captain literally crushed the buttons on the control panel to set up their shields.
The ship was covered in an instant with a thick bluish coat and the light dimmed in the cockpit as the metal support armor of the vessel unfurled over the windows. They now looked like a large block of flying metal.
"Shields deployed at 100% ," echoed the neutral voice of the ship's AI.
It was the max they had. Shields would help but would not resist multiple asteroids impacts. They functioned as shock absorbers.
Izuku couldn't slow down now and was doing his best to slalom between the boulders with his eyes and whatever radar he had left to survive. He didn't respond to his alpha because he didn't want to lose focus and panic. He gritted his teeth and drove the best he could to get out of this minefield.
Eijirou and Sero prayed to all their gods while Mina, Denki and Ochaco were screaming with all their lungs. Shoto watched his life go by, remembering with affection the lovely moments and Shinsou thought about how much medical supplies he had left just in case.
The ship was shaking tremendously and you could hear the thudding sounds of rocks hitting the shields.
Eventually and dripping with sweat, Deku managed to get out of the asteroid field without any direct hit. He started to slow down to get out of speed Zero and check for the problem, but as he slowed down the main radar suddenly and completely shut off.
"Fuck!" He yelled as he continued to slow down. Bakugou turned white when he heard Deku swear. He glanced at his children. Nino had started to cry because of the tense atmosphere.
"Ok, we're slowing down, we're slowing down…" said Izuku, doing awesome dodging maneuvers. A drop of sweat slid down his cheek.
The ship eventually came to a complete stop and slowly wandered through space. Izuku took a deep breath and silence invaded the cabin.
"Shields : 10%, " echoed the voice of the AI.
"God! We're not dead! You even managed to keep the shields active!" Eijirou exclaimed before a huge noise deafened them.
A huge asteroid had hit them from the left and obviously, without radar, nothing warned them. The shield gave way and the damage was extensive.
"The cooling system has been damaged…" Izuku said as he looked at the dashboard." ...Why? I checked before going, the radar was fine! How is it possible for it to shut down like that? It's supposed to be quality equipment!"
"Pikachu! Weren't you working on it?" asked Bakugou, to find a culprit.
"It can't possibly be my doing! Everything was perfect I swear!" Denki defended himself by clinging to his alpha.
"I believe you Denki," Said Eijirou sadly.
"There is a fire in the engine room," Deku said as he unbuckled his harness and stood up. He took with him an extinguisher robot, the faithful Firefriend™. They got rid of the fire and contemplated the massacre.
"It's sabotage," Bakugou noted when he saw the torn cable. "Who?!"
But no one answered. Kodi remained as silent as a space grave for fear of being destroyed by his father.
Deku sighed, taking Bakugou's arm and kissing his shoulder to calm him down.
"No time babe, the engines are boiling. Everything will catch fire if we don't land somewhere quickly to cool it down a bit. The cooling system is completely dead. Come on, I'm going to find us a planet to land, we can't stay in space without radar, it's too dangerous," said the pilot. "We'll land and repair."
They were still in the Liteon galaxy. The only planet that could be reached quickly was the one they could see with the naked eye right in front of the ship. There was nothing else around and it was urgent to move because everything was gonna catch fire.
"It looks like an atrocious planet," Shoto commented upon seeing the glowing ice ball from afar. "It's in the planets library though, it's not something undiscovered. It's called X-852."
" X like the "x" they put in the name when there are extreme weather conditions?" Ochaco asked.
"Yeah. That x ."
"Yeah, well, we don't have a choice," Bakugou replied dryly as Izuku flew cautiously towards the big blue sphere. "At least it's cold."
"It's also uninhabited…" Izuku commented.
"It is viable in the sense that there is oxygen...you can breathe on it without a helmet, the air isn't toxic at all. But apparently the temperature variations are extreme and the environment is dangerous." Shoto explained.
"Watch where you land Deku," Bakugou called out, squeezing the rabbit's shoulder with one hand. He didn't like that at all. Not having a radar on a ship was one of the worst things that could happen. It left them really vulnerable. "Go there, between those big trees. It's probably safe there," he added when they reached the ground.
They landed on the flat surface and Denki started to try to fix things. Izuku took Nino by the hand and calmed his little boy as best he could. Outside it was only snow. It felt empty and sinister. Despite all the white surrounding them, the light seemed dim and there was a strange buzzing sound.
"Worst case scenario, we can call someone to come and help us. We still have our communications working," Ochaco said.
"So, how did that cable end up in this condition?" Mina asked once the adrenaline died. "I can't believe it's someone from the crew!"
"Could this be someone from our cargo?" Eijirou offered quietly.
"Am I the only one with a brain? We just have to look at the security footages! If it's one of you, I'll kill you I swear!" Bakugou replied angrily.
He walked over to the ship's dashboard. Kodi wished for his death to be quick and painless.
"Kacchan, can you get out with me to get some snow? This is the most urgent. It will help cool the engines," asked Izuku. "Ochaco, you can watch the surveillance videos."
"You're the captain now?" Bakugou complained but he obeyed his omega like a good boy.
The hare put on a big coat over his heated space suit and did the same with Izuku. He carefully tied the thing up.
"I can put on my jacket myself Kacchan, I'm a big boy," Izuku said cheekily, part annoyed, part sexy.
"Shut up," simply said Bakugou with a blush. "Shitty hair, Zombie, daughter of mine, you're coming too. The rest, you fix shit!"
They came out with small, flexible airtight buckets and began to fill them with snow. They stayed really close to the ship. Kodi came out too, not wanting to see Ochaco's face when she would see him on the video footage.
It was then that, of course, something happened.
Little Nino, seeing all his family outside, also went out to play with the snow. He rarely saw snow and it got him really excited.
Kodi tried to explain to him in a few words that it was dangerous to walk on the snow of this planet, that there could be crevasses and the little rabbit had nodded without really listening, too captivated by the immaculate expanse.
He saw a little green creature running across the ice, all hairy and cute, and that was it, he absolutely had to chase it. Kodi let out an exclamation of horror as he saw his small alpha brother sprint away from the ship and he ran after him, tearing his hair out.
"NINO! YOU COME BACK! I SAID IT'S DANGEROUS!"
Izuku turned around, alerted by the noise of his son's voice and in an instant, he saw Nino disappear and Kodi throw himself to the ground.
The pilot let go of everything and ran to his sons. His oldest was holding his youngest by his wrists, above a big black void. The cadet had fallen into a crevasse. They couldn't even see the bottom. Izuku thanked all divinities for Kodi's good reflexes.
He took Kodi by his feet and tried to hoist him for his two babies to be fully on the solid ground but they were heavy and the snow was icy and slippery. Shinsou and Luna had rushed towards them in turn and helped Izuku.
It all happened in a few seconds.
Bakugou, who was located much further away, took a few seconds too long to come and witnessed powerless the next scene.
The ship landed on a solid field but a few meters away it was fragile as hell. And under the weight of all those heavy adults, the ground gave way and they were all dragged into the void of the rift.
"NOOOO!" Bakugou screamed as he saw them fall from afar.
He ran to the hole and looked down from the edge of the abyss. He heard a distinct "splash" sound, characteristic of bodies falling into water. There was a chance they survived. "KODI! LUNA! DEKUUU! ...Nino!" the captain yelled breathlessly, breaking his voice and hoping for an answer. Warm tears of rage accumulated at the corners of his eyes.
Eijirou joined him and fell to his knees in the snow. Dazed.
Bakugou then regained his composure and stepped back to jump into the hole.
"What are you doing Bakugou?!" Eijirou exclaimed.
"I'll jump!"
"Bro, you can't jump! What if...what if they d-"
"SHUT THE FUCK UP, THEY DIDN'T!"
"Bro! Ok, stay here! But don't jump! I'm gonna search for a rope or a jet pack!"
Bakugou waited for Eijirou's return in front of the gaping hole and it was the longest minute of his life. The redhead had worked really fast though. He came back with two jetpacks.
The blond tore one from his hands unceremoniously, put it on his back and threw himself into the void, lighting up the flashlight of his survival kit that he always had with him.
They were all alive, they had to be. Bakugou was not living a life without them. All of them. He repeated that like a mantra.
The crevasse was about five, six meters deep. There was indeed water at the bottom and Bakugou could still see eddies on the surface. He directly saw his son Kodi, unconscious in the water. He rushed into the dark wetness, destroying his jet pack in the process and brought his son to the surface. He swam with difficulty to a piece of shore where he hoisted his kid up and found his daughter and youngest son there.
"Daaaad! Nino sobbed.
He was shaking with cold and Luna was trying to warm him up. She stopped her movements when she saw her brother though.
"Thanks fuck!" breathed Bakugou seeing his children. But Kodi wasn't breathing. Bakugou removed the water from his eyes and focused before giving his son mouth-to-mouth and CPR.
Very quickly, Coffee spat the water out of his lungs and coughed violently. His dad hugged him tight with a sigh of relief.
It was then that Luna spoke while crying.
"Da ...daddy went to search for Kodi and he didn't come back!"
Bakugou returned to the water without thinking, with his torch and his adrenaline only. He spotted his omega quickly because he was sinking near.
He brought him on the dry land as fast as he could. He had purple lips and was no longer breathing. Like Kodi minutes ago. He began to give him the same treatment. A cardiac massage and mouth-to-mouth.
Every time he put his lips on Izuku's, pinching his nose to give him oxygen, he felt like part of his soul was leaving with it.
"Come on Deku! For fucking sake! Breath! BREATH!" he implored.
His CPR began to be more violent. He never slowed down.
"Breath nerd! Please! PLEASE! Don't leave me!" he started to cry on Deku.
His kids were quiet and petrified.
"Izuku!" said Bakugou relentlessly.
"Cough! Cough!"
Finally Deku's husky voice finally breathed. He spat lots of water and the blond gave a cry of relief as he stroked his back.
"For fucking fuck...shit...fucking nerd!" the captain whispered between his teeth. He kissed him a few times between his big inhales. Wet happy kisses.
They all hugged then.
"Where is Shinsou?" asked the pilot after a few minutes with a hoarse voice.
"I don't know. I came down with Shitty hair...I don't see him anymore," Bakugou replied while putting his jacket on Izuku's shoulders who had dropped his in the water. The rest of the tribe still had all of their clothing on.
"It's my fault, it's all my fault! I should have told you…" Kodi started to wail.
"What, what are you talking about?" the hare asked, already looking stern.
"There was a stowaway, an omega, she came on the ship because she thought we wanted to hurt her friends…she's from grandma's shelter! She thought we wanted to exploit them. And then, I spilled coffee on her, and she tore the cable while backing up, but it was an accident! I'm sorry! I didn't want you to bring her back to her planet! She would never have been sure of what happened to her friends! I know what it is to be an omega always in doubt, even if you say that we are rich and we have no problems…" Kodi stammered in a long tirade.
"You let us fly, knowing there was something damaged?" Bakugou asked.
"I forgot about it! I swear!"
"Katsuki, he's upset," Izuku scolded him as he hugged his son. "He just nearly drowned! Leave him alone!"
"...I'm so sorry!" Kodi cried on his father's shoulder.
"Fuck...it's okay son, okay?" Bakugou said, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It's gonna be okay. I'm not angry, calm down..."
"It's my fault too, I knew about this girl, I caught them. But I didn't know about the cables…I hid her in my room...but it's not the girl's fault I think...as Kodi said..." Luna stated.
"It's my fault too dad, it's because I ran on the snow! ...Kodi told me not to run but I ran! sobbed the youngest bunny.
"Ok, we stop looking for guilty parties. You are all alive and that's what matters to me right now. We have to find Zombie face and Shitty hair and get out of here. My watch is still working. I'm happy I bought waterproof ones," Bakugou announced before seeing Izuku lying on the ground. "Babe?" he asked.
"I need five minutes. I'm just exhausted. Don't worry. I just need to catch my breath for five minutes…" Deku whispered, closing his eyes.
"Don't fall asleep," the captain ordered him.
"I think my last injury has reopened."
"...Great!"
"It's going to be fine. I have something to redo the bandage. In my…ah...in my coat that I don't have anymore. It was too heavy so I dropped it in the water."
"I've got what it takes I think. Look in my pockets," the blond asked, referring to his own coat.
Izuku pulled out a small medical bag and tried to treat his injury as best he could.
The blond looked at his watch and read the outside temperature: It was really cold. His six-year-old was not going to endure the temperature for long. They pushed their heated suits to the max of their capacities and Bakugou called Eijirou.
"Bro! Tell me you found them alive!" was the first thing he asked for.
"Yes...even if they were...well...I'm glad we jumped in..." answered Bakugou looking at his family.
"Thanks god. I'm with Shinsou. He hit his head badly. We need to get out of here."
"I'll call the rest of the crew."
/
Denki stepped out to see why his friends were taking so long and he was very confused when he saw no one but a big hole a few yards from the ship that wasn't there when they landed. He did what he knew best after mechanics - he screamed and then got a call that explained the situation to him.
"Baku! I have no more jetpacks to help you!" Denki exclaimed, yelling at his watch. "What? What do you mean a stowaway? Currently in the ship?! No way, I'm not getting back on the ship! What do you mean it's a little girl? I don't understand!"
Mina took the call and things moved on. She brought back the necessities to try to hoist them up to the surface with Shoto, Ochaco and Sero and the moment she was about to throw some equipment into the crevasse there was a big earthquake.
Like a large iceberg, the ground moved and knocked against the opposite bank, completely closing the rift.
"NO!" yelled Mina, digging with her hands in the snow.
"SHITTY PLANET!" Shoto yelled, digging too.
"Fucking god!" Bakugou exclaimed through the watch. "That planet IS a motherfucker! We're still alive! Only the ceiling moved!"
"Oh thanks god!" Mina exclaimed, hearing her captain's voice. "Now I'm sure if you were to die I would miss your insults..."
"We'll have to find another way to get out of here...let's walk," said Izuku, shaking and getting up with difficulty.
They had only their torches to light their path.
"Eijirou, look for a way out on your side," the pilot asked, holding his daughter's hand.
"Yeah...no choice anyway. I see where you are on my gps but...the way is unattainable," answered the redhead. He picked up Shinsou on his back and walked.
Bakugou put Nino on his shoulders and took Kodi by the hand. The latter was surprised by the gesture because it had been a while since Bakugou had shown him affection like that.
"Dad I'm scared," Nino complained as he clung to his father's wild blond spikes.
"It's okay sweetheart, you're with dad. Are you hurt somewhere?" asked Bakugou with a gentleness he reserved only for Nino.
"I scraped my knee but it's okay I think, Luna protected me," said the little boy.
"And you?" Bakugou asked to Coffee.
"...I feel like a cargo ship has gone through my throat and danced a popular choreography in it but otherwise I'm okay!" answered the computer nerd with a tight smile.
"Luna?" asked Bakugou to his daughter, ending the interrogation.
"Fine. I'm more worried for daddy," she answered.
"I'm fine," insisted Izuku.
Bakugou knew Deku like he made him and he could see he was in pain. The imperceptible narrowing of his eyes, his breathing, his fake smile. But he was trying to keep his composure to be the parental figure he needed to be right now.
"I think I broke you a ribe," Bakugou commented. "While doing CPR."
"You saved me, I won't complain," responded Izuku with a tired smile.
Katsuki wanted to hug him. He was feeling emotional. He just nearly lost the love of his life and his precious kids. Sometimes it was hard to stay strong. They were really unlucky. This mission was bad luck. He had the nasty feeling it was nowhere near the end of it.
They slowly made their way through the cavernous antity and you could hear Nino's muffled sobs and the choppy breathing of Kodi who was frozen.
"Is your space suit dead?" asked Bakugou after a while.
Kodi nodded.
"Why did you say nothing?" accused Bakugou.
"Because it's how I live my life apparently!" answered the teenager, upset.
"Deku, give him the coat I gave you!"
"No! Daddy needs it! His suit is dead too, I can tell," said Kodi.
"What?! Your suit doesn't heat up anymore too?" asked the captain.
"...yeah," Izuku said, removing the coat to wrap it around his son anyway.
"Why you omegas are always suffering in silence?! Fucking speak!" the blond yelled, his nerves thin, as he started to take off his suit.
"What are you doing Kacchan?" asked Izuku with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm giving you my fucking suit! What the fuck else would I do?"
"No you're not! You'll freeze to death!"
"And you won't?!"
"I'll be fine!"
"Listen to me, I'm your fucking alpha, your my responsability and-"
"Quit with that alpha bullshit right now! You know there is nothing like this between us, we're equal in this relationship so keep the fucking suit!" answered Izuku.
"Daddy you swore!" complained Nino.
"Yes baby, well sometimes you have to! For information to go past the thick head of some people!"
"Well, freeze to death then!" yelled back Bakugou. He looked pissed off but Kodi sensed he was just dying of worry.
"Please dads, keep the love quarrels for later," implored Luna, rubbing her shoulders.
Bakugou's watch spoke after about an hour of walking. It was Eijirou speaking:
"We made it, we found a way out! We got picked up by Ochaco and Mina. Denki almost blew my spine while hugging me, but otherwise we're okay. How is it going from your side?"
"Bad!" Bakugou commented. "I don't think we're going to find a way out today. We're going to have to take a break soon because my rabbit tribe is on the verge of fainting and I can't carry everyone on my back."
"Oh fuck. Well, we'll continue to check on you with the GPS and try to find a way out from the-"
Crrrrrrrr~
And now the communications were cut. Either the cold had got the better of the signal, or something was jamming it.
"Ok rabbits. We're taking a break. Your father is going to pass out," the captain said as he put Nino down. Izuku slowly sat on the floor and put a hand on his hip.
Bakugou rummaged through his survival kit and pulled out a ration of food and the handy little tool Shoto had designed to make random water drinkable.
He quartered the ration and gave one serving to each of his children before giving one to Izuku.
"Give it all to the children," said the freckled pilot, refusing.
"Eat." Bakugou ordered.
"Eat too then!"
"I'm fine, you're the one looking like a ghost!"
"I won't eat if you don't eat!"
Bakugou growled in annoyance and put the ration in his own mouth before kissing Izuku harshly and forcibly transferring the ration into his mouth.
Their children severely judged their immature behavior.
"...It's not fair...if you do it like that," Izuku muttered, chewing on his ration with flushed cheeks.
"Shut up and swallow."
They left soon after and Kodi tripped over something metallic. He was barely caught by his father before his nose crashed to the ground.
"What the fuck, oh! I can't stand this anymore!" the kid complained. "Wait, on what did I trip over? It looks like...a trap door."
It cleared the snow above the object and it was indeed a metal hatch. As if a big bunker was hidden under their feet. Izuku observed Bakugou with concern when seeing the blond was hesitating to step inside.
"Yes, of course Kacchan, let's enter a strange bunker lost in a rift on a planet that is supposed to be uninhabited!"
"I don't think we're going to have a choice," Bakugou declared, looking behind his omega and seeing a huge purple bear staring them in the eye.
Thank you so much for reading, humanoids!
I hope you had lots of fun even if it wasn't quite a funny chapter ahah!
You probably wonder what the heck is in that bunker?
Will the little bunny family be able to rest a little?
You'll see in next chapter! Please if you liked it, leave a comment ;D I'm very curious, talktive, open minded to anything you have to say!
