Izuku very slowly reached for his gun on his belt behind his back. This time he had had the presence of mind of taking it with him, but he was praying that it wouldn't be out of service because of the cold and the water. Luna tried to open the hatch behind him. It was locked. It was predictable. The pilot turned on his weapon but did not aim at the bear however, he aimed at the hatch.

The wild animal began to walk forward in an impressive move and started to sniff Kodi, who lay down on the ground, paralyzed by fear.

Purple bears were not famous for their aggressiveness but for their dangerousness. This creature, even in a good mood, was deadly in many ways.

Bakugou avoided any sudden gestures but tried to slide down calmly in front of his son to protect him. He sort of lay on top of him and Kodi hid his face in his dad's muscular shoulder, his ears completely lowered. A strong smell of distress invaded the area and the captain was afraid it might get the bear excited. He released calming pheromones as best he could under the circumstances.

Izuku slowly closed his youngest son's gaping jaw with a finger and exchanged a look with his alpha. Getting into that bunker or whatever it was, was vital right now, but how to keep the bear from panicking at the gun sound?

Well, Deku was gonna be the sacrificial bastard he always has been.

The bear got enraged at the sudden movement and turned violently, clawing Bakugou's left leg in the process. As wanted, the animal ran after Deku. Luna chose this moment to shoot the hatch, which opened, and grabbed her little brother in her arms before throwing herself inside it.

Bakugou got up, grabbed his son with both hands and threw him on his shoulder like a potato sack. He got him in the bunker and raised his head only to watch Deku skidding to avoid the bear charges.

"GIVE ME THE GUN!" he yelled at his daughter who threw it to him.

He aimed with difficulty and touched the bear in the paw, the latter fell and his omega ran towards the trapdoor where he rushed in with Bakugou. They closed it with a snap.

When he put his feet on the ground, that's where the pilot's body told him stop. He collapsed on the floor. Bakugou, leg bloody, knelt down to straighten him up and put a hand on his face. Deku was burning.

"Shit!" He grumbled between his teeth.

"It's okay Kacchan...I'm just exhausted...I think I lost a lot of blood in the water...with that wound that doesn't heal…"

Katsuki looked at his own leg and bit his lip.

The purple bear was venomous. Their claws were coated with poison and this poison was lethal, depending on the dose received, in a few minutes or a few hours. It was not spread by blood however, it was more like a bacterium which multiplied and provoked the necrosis of the flesh.

It was going to start around the scratch and get all over Bakugou's body before killing him. There were two simple and drastic ways to survive such an event - drink an antidote or get rid of the part of the body that had been attacked.

"Fuck! That purple piece of shit! ...You know what must be done Deku. I can't do it myself so you have to stay awake and do it!" Bakugou blatantly said to his omega. "You have to cut my leg, above the scratch!"

But he really didn't feel like he could.

"It looks like a fucking bad day!" exclaimed an unknown feminine voice out of nowhere.

And that was the end of Kodi's nerves. He started to scream with a high pitched voice at seeing the woman, who was standing behind him with a rifle in her hand. She wasn't aiming at them though.

"PLEASE, DON'T KILL US!" he yelled. "The past few weeks have been harsh! My daddy got shot in his kidney, I've been nearly raped, a man died in front of me, I discovered I had a grandmother, my ship got destroyed by an asteroid because of me, my brother fell in a hole, I fell in a hole! Then we nearly drowned, AND MY DAD HAD BEEN HURT BY A BIG ASS PURPLE BEAR!"

When Shinsou arrived with plenty of medical supplies, he rushed towards Deku first.

"Izuku! What the...ok. I'll try to keep calm around the fact you look dead already and take care of Bakugou first. Sit here and don't move! Please stop moving! I'll take care of you after. I can't believe the state you put yourself in..." complained the purple haired doctor.

Mei showed him a room where he could work and Shinsou took advantage of her hospitality by asking her to help. He laid Bakugou on a work chair and pricked him with a powerful anesthetic. Deku was the only one allowed in the room beside them and only because he had insisted.

"Denki and Shoto fixed the ship enough for us to leave. Kiri is coming with Mina and Sero. Ochaco keeps an eye on our guests."

Izuku nodded his head and asked to see Bakugou. They put him to sleep for his body to rest. The new engineered leg was already in place.

He just made sure that they understood that there would be no second forgiveness and that now nothing should be hidden from him.

Kodi was the one looking down. He drank coffee more than ever and had difficulty sleeping even drinking deca. Izuku felt a bit overwhelmed and Bakugou remained focused on the mission. They traveled at speed Zero to the Milky Way and delivered their cargo of omegas to the designated location.
