This is my first story that takes place in season 3 of Transformers Prime but there is no Smokescreen because I couldn't think of a gift that he can give to bee. Oh and it's Bumblebee's, Optimus's POV, and Megatron's POV in certain scenes so watch out.

Two days before Bee's birthday(bee's POV)
I woke up at 6 in the morning which was a surprise since I usually get up around 7, but I couldn't help it, I was so excited. Quickly I got up and walked to the rec room to get my daily energon and saw Arcee there.
"Well you're up early." she said with smile
"I'm just so excited." I said which made her laugh, then I walked over to get the energon but it was on a higher shelf than normal so I jumped onto the wall and onto the shelf. Then I grabbed my energon but I heard a crack from under me "Uh oh." I said before the shelf broke bringing me to the floor with a crash.
"BUMBLEBEE!" yelled Ratchet
"What?" I asked
"Why did you do that?" he asked with a grumble
"I couldn't reach the energon so I jumped from the wall to get it." I said
"And to risk getting an injury." he yelled
"Well, I didn't get hurt now did I?" I asked and by the look on his face I could tell he got my point.
"Good morning Arcee, Ratchet, and Bumblebee." said a deep and kind voice
"Morning Optimus." I said after finishing my energon and I looked at the clock and saw I needed to get Raf to school. "I got to go." I said running out of the base and transforming into my vehicle mode.
Optimus's POV
I watched Arcee, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee drive away and turned to Ratchet who was working on something.
"What are you working on?" I asked
"A new voice module."he said not facing me, "It's so the humans can at least understand him." he said
"And may I ask what for?" I said
"It's the least I can do and I'm planning on giving him this for his birthday." he said
"Ratchet I am sure Bumblebee will be very grateful for you giving him this." I said putting my servo on his shoulder
"Thanks Optimus." he said before turning back to his work and before I could walk away he asked me "What are you going to give him?"
"I do not know old friend." I said not facing him
"Maybe I can offer you a suggestion." he said and I nodded to this "Maybe for a gift you can adopt him." he said
"Ratchet I…" I said before I recollected my thoughts and said "Thank you for the suggestion but adopting Bumblebee would make him a bigger target then he was before."
"Yes but the kid needs a family, and remember when we first found him alone his two closest friends died before his very optics and yet he trusted you out of everyone." he said and what he said was true his best friend that was closest to a big sister got killed by their caretaker and him and his friend both escaped, but not too long before his friend got taken on the toll of war by getting one of the many viruses that broke out during the war, he sadly died just before me, Ratchet, and Ironhide found them. Lucky Bumblebee told us their names which were Cycle and Typhoon. Those poor younglings they did not deserve this, Bumblebee did not deserve this. But the sound of a roaring motorcycle engine interrupted my thoughts.
"Alright we need a plan while Bee's on patrol. Who's giving what for Bee?" asked Arcee
"I'm giving Bumblebee a new voice module." said Ratchet
"I'm giving him fighting lesions, wrecker style." said Bulkhead
"I'm planning on letting him race me." said Arcee "How about you Optimus?" she asked
"I am considering Ratchet's idea on adopting him." I said
"That's so sweet." said Arcee, walking over. "Are you alright?" she asked, seeing the concern on my faceplate "Do you want to talk in private?" she asked which I nodded and went in the back then I finally said "I don't want Bumblebee to get hurt even more than he is now." "Optimus, there is no need to be worried about endangering him." she said holding my hand "Trust me not only you will protect him we will too." she said
"I will think about it." I said with a small smile and made her kiss me on the cheek and walked off leaving me to my thoughts.
Bumblebee's POV
As I drove back to base, I remembered my first real birthday. It was such a great day and the best day out of all of my previous birthdays, only because it was just one of the many days of abuse but worse. At first I thought I would be alone forever especially in that place but now I know what the real plan was to turn us younglings into decepticons. Man, I missed Typhoon and Cycle.
Flashback
"Cycle, I'm scared." said the youngest out of the buch who was yellow and balck(I think we can all guess who that is)
"Don't be, little guy." she said in a calming voice
"Alright kids today is the day where let off a bot to a different orphanage." said our caretaker named Jetblade
"I hope it's you little guy you don't deserve to be here." said Cycle
"The youngling who is going is...Cycle. Pack you stuff we're leaving tonight." she said walking off making the youngest bursting out in tears
"Don't worry we'll see each other again." she said going on her knee
"w...wreally?" he asked
"Yeah follow me and Jetblade secretly and see where we go so you visit me." she said which made him feel better
"Ok, can Ty come too?" he asked
"sure." she said.
Later that night
"Come on Cycle." barked Jetblade as they walked down the debris filled streets with the little guy and his friend Ty following behind them in the dark. They walked for what seemed like megacycles when they turned to the alleyway
"We're here." Jetblade said
"What how-"started Cycle before she was cut off by Jetblade stuffing her servo into her chest and ripping out her spark
"Little guy close optics." said Ty
"Why?" he asked before seeing his friend getting killed before him which he started to cry
"No no no shh don't cry." Ty said but realized that they were caught
"RUN!" he yelled, picking up the little guy and running and jumped into a trash can and listened to come out.
Two weeks later in an old abandoned building "Hellwo Ty." the little one
"Hey little guy." Ty mange to say before coughing
"I got mwore cwredets." he said
"Good...job." he said slowly
"Ty please don't go forever like Cycle." he said
"I have to, little guy." Ty said
"But…" he began but was cut off by footsteps picking up his friend he dragged him to the edge of a broken part with weirs hanging off
"Little guy leave me here." Ty said
"No, I'm not weaving." he said but tripped and started to fall but grabbed the weirs
"Go." Ty whispered before he died which made Bee start to cry
"Optimus." said an old voice
"What is it Ratchet?" said a deeper voice
"Do you hear that?" he asked
"It sounds...like crying." said a gruffier voice hearing this he stopped crying to soft hiccups
"Optimus I found a youngling." said the old voice
"Is it…" he began but it trailed off by the soft hiccups from Bee walking towards the edge he saw a little sparking hanging on for dear life reaching down he pick him up held him close for him to find his comfort
"Optimus the bigger one is...dead." he said sadly
"Do you know the cause?" asked the one they called Optimus
"A virus." he said then he saw a little youngling in Optimus's servos "Optimus is that one alive?"
"Yes old friend he is." Optimus said softly and sadly
"What's wrong?" asked Ratchet looking at Bee which looked like he is about to cry
"I believe he knew this youngling." Optimus said pointing to Ty
"Let's see." said Ratchet putting down bee and let him wobble over to the offlined body
"Ty, pwease wake up pwease…" he said in between sobs and hiccups making all of the mechs look at each other
"Optimus what are we going to do?" asked the old voice
"We bury the offline youngling and take the little one with us." said Optimus, making the two other mechs nodd in response. Optimus walked over to the living youngling and picked him up while Ratchet picked up the older youngling
"Ty weave him awone!" the little youngling screamed between crying
"Hey shh." said Optimus putting the little youngling near his spark hearing the big booming spark calmed the little youngling
"What is your name little one?" asked Optimus
"I don't have wone." he said looking at Optimus with sweet innocent eyes
"Then how about Bumblebee I always was a fan of that name and it does seem to go with you." said Optimus with a smile but with the look the youngling was giving to his friend he could tell that Bumblebee was sad
"May I ask what was your friend's name?" asked Optimus
"which wone?" he asked
"What do you mean?" Optimus asked and with a point of his tiny digit in a coner was a little femme that was offlined "Ratchet I found another offlined youngling." Optimus said
"Where?" Ratchet said before turning his helm to the corner "What happened to her?" making Bumblebee burst out in tears
"She got hurt by a bad bot!" he said crying loudly
"Do you know the bad bot's name, because no one kills innocent kids without paying the price." said Ironhide while punching his servo into his other.
"Je...Jetblade." he said through crying which made everyone in the building freeze
"Jetblade?" said Ratchet with surprise
"She...She wran a openage and me and Cycle and Typhoon all lived there with owthers." said Bumblebee still crying
"Who's those two?" asked Ironhide
"I'm guessing Typhoon is the little mech that you just buried and Cycle is over in the corner." said Ratchet earning a nod from Bumblebee
"Can Cycle be buwied too?" asked Bumblebee
"Of course, Bumblebee." said Optimus making Bumblebee smile
"Wait you named it!" Ironhide said
"Yes and it is a him." said Optimus
"What's wrong with naming him?" asked Ratchet as he put Cycle in a dich
"What's wrong with naming him is that we're going to get all attach to him and keep him." said Ironhide kicking a rock almost hitting Ratchet
"Hey Watch it!" yelled Ratchet
"Let's head back to base." said Optimus giving a light chuckle
End of flashback
As soon as I got into the base I knew they were talking about my birthday because everyone went quiet. "Hey guys." I said trying to sound happy but I hope did sound happy
"Hey." said Ratchet
"I'm going to be outside." I said walking to a the back
Optimus's POV
As soon as Bumblebee left I knew something was wrong and was trying to hide it.
"Has anyone noticed that bee seemed more down then happy?" asked Arcee
"Yeah he did seem kinda upset." said Ratchet
"I am going to talk to Bumblebee." I said walking to the back
Bumblebee's POV
Outside I sat on the edge with my legs dangling off the edge. I didn't even know why I'm still sad about them like all of my other friends that died in the war and I don't act like this when I remember them and I saw most of them die with a long loud sigh I shook my helm to clear it.
"Hello." said a voice that made me jump 5 feet high
"Hi." I said trying to sound like I didn't get scared because that would be very embarrassing especially in front of Optimus.
"Sorry I startled you." said Optimus as he sat beside me
"Startled...na you didn't scare me." I said but he gave me a look that made me feel I need to tell the truth "Ok, yeah you scared me. Just don't tell anyone, cause I'm never going to hear the end of it." I said which only earned a chuckle from Optimus.
"Alright, but that was not what I came up here for." he said with a quiet but serious tone
"Then why did you come out here?" I asked
"I came because you did not seem like your happy self like you were this morning." he said
"Oh no reason." I lie
"Bumblebee you can tell me what is bothering you." he said
"I know...It's just...I feel like it's embarrassing." I manage to say
"Embarrassing or not you can tell me anything." he said
"Really?" I asked
"Yes." he said
"It's Typhoon and Cycle, I really miss them and every time I think about them or remember them I get sad and depressed, and I don't know why." I said kinda finishing, kinda sad, after I finished Optimus didn't say anything at first but then he finally spoke...
"Bumblebee, what you are feeling is totally normal seeing how sad you were when Typhoon passed along with Cycle, and I understand how you are depressed about it." he said pulling me in for a hug "But you should not let that get in the way of things that are happening now…" he said
"Really." I said
"Yes, Bumblebee, for Primus sake you saw them offline with your own optics. No youngling in the universe should have experienced what you did." he said
"Especially the voice thing?" I asked
"Especially the voice thing." he said giving me another hug even if I didn't feel better I lied to him
"Thanks Optimus for making me feel better."
Optimus's POV
Even if Bumblebee told me that I made him feel better, something in my spark told that he did not feel better. Poor Bumblebee…
"Optimus, we have a visitor that Arcee found that's coming out to you." said Ratchet and hearing a little squeak of the door I looked behind me and saw Ironhide so I text from my com to him saying Ironhide, I am giving you something so you can surprise Bumblebee and make him feel a little bit better. Earning a nod of approval then he quietly walked over and I handed him something from my cropit and handed it to him then he sat down
"Bumblebee, What's wrong." he said in a squeaky voice
"What the-Fuzzy?" he said in surprise then he saw Ironhide "Hide!" he said hugging him
"Hey there kid." he said almost getting knocked down by the 11 year old
"We thought you were dead." he said after hugging him
"All come on did I not teach you anything, It's going to take a lot more power to take me down." he said laughing "oh and it's good to see ya Prime." he said
"It is good to see you too old friend." I said back.
Megatron's POV
On the Nemesis stood staring at the screen thinking how do I defeat Optimus...
"Lord Megatron." said a deep voice
"Yes Shockwave…" I said
"I believe you do not have an idea to kill Optimus Prime and maybe I can be of use." he said
"Yes, that would be great…" I said
"What will you be looking for." he asked
"Something to annihilate Prime...but how?" I said
"Maybe we can kill him by another prime." he said
"Go on." I said
"Well maybe we can capture some bot on his team, bring them here, put prime's blood in them and take control of them to kill him for you." he said
"Yes but we still have a prime on our hands." I said
"Yes but you can kill them, then both Earth and Cybertron are yours for the taking." he said
"Yes I like it but who…" I said but then I got the perfect bot that can do it "Bumblebee." I said with a sneer.
Bumblebee's POV
I couldn't believe that Ironhide got here and is still alive. Anyway the next day was kinda chaotic I mean no one wanted to hang out with me so I was alone for most of the day and that was boring. But then it was time for me to take Raf home.
"Bee you're so lucky that birthday falls on a Saturday." he said
"Really? I mean it's great that I get to see you guys but how come I'm lucky?" I asked
"Because it's the weekend yet again you guys don't get days off." he said "So I guess you're not as lucky as humans." he said which made me laugh(I always laugh when he forgets that I don't have school or don't for don't have a break from war)I drove and talked to him more until we got to his house.
"Bye Bee." he said closing my door
"Bye Raf." I said before driving away
The next day(My birthday)I got up but then I remembered it was my monthly check upon my voice box, so I went in the rec room and got my energon then walked over to Ratchet so he could do my check up.
"Lay down so I can look." he said and I did what I was told "It's looking good but your voice module keeps cutting out so I'm going to take it out and put it back in." he said
"Ok but who's going to pick up Raf?" I asked
"Bulkhead can you pick up Raf for Bee?" Ratchet asked
"Sure thing Ratch." he said before transforming and driving out with Arcee
"Ok ready?" he asked and I nodded to show I was after he took off my voice module I was aloud to walk around while he got it ready
"Hey Bee." said Raf and I just waved back(Since I couldn't talk)
"Ready guys?"asked Mekio and both Jack and Raf nodded in return
"Happy birthday Bee!"they said since I couldn't at the moment I just gave them a thumbs up to say thank you
"Bumblebee your voice module is ready." yelled Ratchet so I ran and laid down on the medical birth. "Ok done let's see how it works." he said and following his orders I decided to say thank you to the humans
"Thanks guys." I said
"Your welcome Bee." they said
"Hey Raf maybe we can play video games."I said getting up
"Yeah." said Mekio and with this I froze
"Wait what." I said then I realized that my voice module isn't bleep and bloops anymore but radio talk
"I made you a new voice module so Jack and Mekio can understand you," said Ratchet
"Thanks Ratchet." I said hugging him "But how?" I asked
"You're picking up radio waves and you pick them anywhere, anytime." he said
"Oh so are giving out presents now." said Bulkhead "My present is I'm giving you some more fighting lessons but wrecker style." he said
"Awesome, thanks Bulk." I said pretty excited for training
"Mine is one free race." said Arcee
"I bet I would beat you." I said
"Yeah let's see when we do race." she said giving me a friendly punch on the shoulder
"Thanks Cee." I said laughing then I heard Ironhide walk in
"Sorry kid I didn't get you anything." he said putting his servos up
"It's ok I'm just glad you're here." I said
"Hey Bee we got something." said Raf then him, Mekio, and Jack help each other to lift a big square present
"Here this also goes with it." said Ratchet giving me a cube looking thing so I opened it first. The thing I got looked like a giant camera then I opened the square present and I was a book.
"It's a camera and a picture book to keep memories with you." said Mekio
"Thanks guys." I said "Say cheese." I said taking a picture of them and putting the picture in the book.
"Bumblebee," said Optimus
"Yeah?" I asked
"My present...with your permission...I want to adopt you, do you want me to-" before he finished I hugged him and said
"Yes." I couldn't believe it, I finally have a dad and it's Optimus. "Thanks guys." I said
"Hey that's not all we got." said Mekio
"Really?" I asked
"Yep close you optics." said Arcee we walked into the ground bridge to a place that felt hot and dusty "Alright open." said Arcee
"Woah, an old ghost town." I said looking around "This is so cool." I said seeing an old ranch
"Hey there's an old mine right over there." said Arcee seeing thisI ran to it but then we heard jet sounds
"Bee, look out!" yelled Raf but before I could react I felt pain in my stomach and everything went black.
Optimus's POV
Seeing Bumblebee getting shot the first thing I did was run to him but Megatron blocked me "Megatron." I said with venom in my voice
"Hello Prime." he said with a sneer throwing a punch and dodging it I did a roundhouse hitting him right in the face then threw some punches at him but then he kicked me knock me to the ground aiming his sword towards my spark stopping the sword's course but instead he plunged it into my stomach.
"Decepticons retreat." he yelled and ran into the ground bridge
"Is everyone ok?" I asked
"Yeah." said Bulkhead
"I'm ok." said Arcee
"Optimus, what happened?" asked Ratchet
"We got attacked by decepticons." I said
"Guys Bee's missing." said Rafaphel causing everyone to look where he got shot
"Bumblebee." I said with worry
Bumblebee's POV
When I woke up, I saw I was not in the wild west and definitely not at base.
"Where am I?" I asked while sitting up and saw I was at the Decepticon base then I looked at my stomach. It was molted, so they want me for some reason to keep me alive.
"Good morning Scout." said a familiar raspy voice
"Hey screammy, I see Megatron let you back in his club. Let me ask, does he still beat the heck out of you like he used to or more?"I said hearing an angry growl from him
"Actually you're the one who's going to be beeaten, get it beeaten." he said laughing
"Ugg, bee jokes are so old." I said unamused
"Hello Bug." said a unforgettable voice
"Megatron." I said calmly, trying to hide my fear and ignoring every circuit in my body screaming to run, breathing hard like I ran 5 miles, I managed to say "W...what do you want from me?"
"For you to bow down and surrender to me." he said walking closer to the cell I'm in
"Yeah like I'd do that." I said
"Well I guess we just have to force you." he said opening the cage door and dragging me out. He dragged me into Shockwave's lab somewhere that no bot on the planet wants to be and threw me onto a birth.
"Shockwave I got you new lab rat." he said with an evil cackle, coming out with a needle he jammed it into the sensitive part of my arm causing me to let out a scream of agony
"Now for the cybernetic acid." said Shockwave unlocking me from birth and dragged me to a giant tub and pushing me in and shutting it behind him. I have to get out of here I thought so I did what I thought was right for the moment and started to beat on the glass but then it started to fill up with cybernetic acid.
"Let me out of here." I yelled still banging on the glass soon it was up to my neck then my mouth and soon everything went blurry and then black…
Optimus's POV
"That is not possible." I said
"What's not possible?" asked Ratchet turning around from the computer
"The Matrix of leadership can sense other Primes if they are alive and I feel one alive right now." I explained
"So a prime just popped out of nowhere." said Bulkhead
"How?" asked Arcee
"I do not know, but I can feel where they are." I said
"Where?" asked Arcee
"The Decepticon warship." I said
Bumblebee's POV
"What, where am I?" I asked "Hey I have my voice back...am I dead?"
"No you are not dead." said a dark deep voice
"Who...who are you?" I asked trying to find where the voice came from
"I am behind you Bumblebee." it said making me turn around to find a very very large mech with light and dark blue all over his body
"Who are you and how do you know my name."I demanded
"Trust me I know everything." he said
"Everything, everything?" I asked
"Yes everything." he said
"Woah…" I whispered "Who are you?" I asked
"I am Primus." hearing this my jaw dropped
"What? But how Optimus said the only way you can see you is to go to the realm of the primes and only primes go here or if you have a very important mission." I said
"Yes, that is true." he said "But my young prime you are related to Optimus." he said shrinking down to somewhat of my size and 12 more primes appeared
"Well for one woah and for two I'm not a prime and for three I'm related to Optimus." I said
"Oh but you are." said Prima
"How?" I asked
"You just got Optimus's CNA from the needle." said Alpha trion
"Shockwave made me a prime but why?" I asked
"That is for you to find out on your own." said Prime Nova
"Ok so now what?" I asked
"We wait till you wake up." said Primus
Optimus's POV
"We need to go on the warship." said Bulkhead
"Yeah but have you given thought of it might be a trap." said Arcee
"Yeah but who knows what the con could be doing to him." argued Bulkhead
"Enough, Bulkhead, as much as I want to get Bumblebee, Arcee is right need to put thought into a plan." I said
"Why don't we make a con trap…" said Ironhide
"Care to explain Ironhide." I said
"I could make a trap to lure the cons and while I fight them some of you guys can sneak into their groundbridge and find the kid and prime." he said
"That...could actually work." said Arcee
"Good thinking Ironhide." I said as soon as I said this he started to build the trap while I explained who is going and who is staying "Arcee, Ratchet, and I will go into the Decepticon warship, and Bulkhead you stay here for groundbridge support.
"Ok trap's ready." said Ironhide
"Autobots transform and roll out." I said, and on cue they all transformed and drove into the groundbridge.
Megatron's POV
"Lord Megatron, I found a decepticon distress call." said Soundwave
"Starscream, check it out, bring Knockout and Shockwave with you just in case there are decepticons in trouble." I said
"Yes, Lord Megatron." he said walking off
Optimus's POV
Arcee, Ratchet, and I all hid behind some trees and bushes while we waited for the decepticons. Then the groundbridge showed up and we got ready to go through the groundbridge as soon as they all got out, then we all ran in.
"Arcee, Ratchet, you two fined Bumblebee, I will find the new prime." I said earning nodes back then we split up. As I followed where my spark told me to go I was getting a little bit more worried, but then my spark told me to turn to the right and lead to Shockwave's lab and there I saw Bumblebee in a tub filled with cybernetic acid "Bumblebee." I said worriedly "Arcee, Ratchet, I found Bumblebee in Shockwave's lab." I said through the com. It only took them a few minutes to get into Shckwave's lab
"They put him in cybernetic acid, those cons are going to pay." said Arcee
"We need to get him out of here." said Ratchet so I started to break the glass but then he saw the computer "Optimus look at this." he said making me stop to look at the computer. What I saw was almost too cruel. They were trying to make a new prime to kill me and they were using Bumblebee to take over and kill me.
"They're trying to make Bumblebee to kill Optimus." said Arcee
"So far they succeed on making him a prime." said Ratchet
"We need to get him out of there before they take over him." I said and restarted to bang on the glass after for what seemed like hour I finally broke the glass making him fall out
"What...what happened? Where am I?" he asked
"Do not worry Bumblebee we got you." I said as we walked out of the lab and the ship "Bulkhead, send a groundbridge." I said
"Optimus!" said a voice then I got a shot of pain on the back of my helm as the groundbridge appeared and we ran in before and closed it before he ran in.
Bumblebee's POV
When I woke up I saw I wasn't in the decepticon base but ours I sat up.
"Hey, Bumblebee, how do you feel." asked Ratchet
"Nauseated and tired but other than that fine." I said
"Optimus, he's awake." he said
"How are you Bumblebee?" asked Optimus
"Good...Dad." I said that last part was weird but I'm sure I'll get used to that.
"That is good." he said and I gave him a hug
"Optimus, Shockwave put your CNA in me." I said
"Yes I know." he said
"Does that mean I'm your real son?" I asked
"It does." he said but then we heard screaming from the humans outside and we ran out and I saw the bot I knew too well with the paint job and evil sneer
"Oh no." I said
