Nicholas was wandering a cave system with his siblings, Ana, Emily, Amelia, Mary, and Mckensey. He found himself sitting near a waterfall deep inside the cave. Ana walked behind him and smiled before asking him a question.

"What are you doing little brother?"

"Listening to the water."

"Seriously?"

"Shut it Mary."

"Fine."

"Why are you listening to the water Nicholas?"

"Can't you hear the music?"

"What is he talking about?"

Ana placed a hand on her brother's shoulder and looked at the water. She heard music starting from the lightest note to a deeper note. Her eyes widened in amazement. She extended her hand to her sisters and they grabbed each other's hands one by one until they could all hear the music. They listened for hours. When the scientists arrived, they interrupted the music. All of the girls let go of Nicholas and looked at the head scientist. Mary was the first to answer.

"Sir?"

"Are y'all okay?"

"Yes sir. We were just listening."

"I can hear it too. It is a type of creature that is making the sound."

"Interesting..."

"Come on, we need your brother's help setting the equipment up."

"Alright."

Ana turns to Nicholas and lightly shakes him out of his daze.

"Huh?"

"We need your help with the equipment.

"Oh, right."

Nicholas gets up and helps set up the equipment. The scientists start playing music to try to draw the creature out. After some rumbling and several hours of waiting, the scientists give up. It is only when Nicholas hums the song that a creature appears. The creature was small but heavily armored. Nicholas knelt in front of it and scratched it's chin. The creature smiled and nuzzled it's head against Nicholas's chest.

The moment was very touching, but no one noticed the other soldiers aiming their rifles at the scientists. It was all a blur, the scientists were murdered and the Claus siblings were executed. The creature looks at the soldiers and violently murders them. seconds after the last betrayer was dead, the creature spoke with a feminine voice.

"Murdering innocents in my sanctuary, for that crime, you will suffer in the deepest pit of Hell."

Centuries later

Several ghosts found their way into the cave system and came upon the bodies of the Claus siblings. One of the ghosts spoke with a solemn but feminine voice.

"Cause of death?"

"Execution."

The Ghost sighs.

"Interesting..."

"What is it Zena?"

"They have high reserves of light."

"I guess there is only one thing to do then."

Nicholas and his siblings were slowly resurrected. Their ligaments reformed, and the tissue began to form over the bone after it became a healthy color. Blood moved around their bodies as they healed. The skin and the remaining organs reformed as they stood up. The Claus siblings stared at the Ghosts and looked at themselves.

"Eon? why are they naked?"

"More importantly, why aren't the females responding to the fact that they are naked in front of a male."

"He's our little brother."

"And you think that's okay?"

"He's seen us naked before and we're comfortable with it."

"Yeah, and it doesn't really bother us."

"Fascinating..."

"That's so fascinating?"

"Most Guardians have to experience trauma or go through a specific process to regain their memories, but you six seem to have your memories intact for the most part. It is simply amazing, no one has ever recalled anything the minute they are resurrected. It usually takes time."

"I guess we're special then."

Nicholas began whistling loudly. The group suddenly heard something splash out of the water. They saw a silver scaled reptile crawl out of the water and into Nicholas's lap. Nicholas picks the creature up and makes a goofy face.

"Isn't she adorable?"

"What is she?"

"A baby Ahamkara."

"What's that?"

"A Dragon-like species that came with the Traveller."

"Oh, he can keep it right?"

"He can certainly try, but the Vanguard will try to kill it."

"Why?"

"The Ahamkara are seen as beasts of temptation. They can grant any wish but at a great cost."

"They'll have to kill me first."

"I am pretty sure they will."

"Good luck to them. We're trained in all forms of hand to hand combat. We also know sword play by heart."

"We shall see. For now, let us go to the tower. The Last City awaits."

"A ship should be waiting for us outside."

"But first, clothes."

"Right."

The Ghosts create armor and undergarments for their guardians. The guardians put on their armor and clothes. The armor they wear changes into Iron Lord/Lady armor which shocks the Ghosts.

"Absolutely fascinating."

"Let's get out of here."

"Agreed."

The guardians leave the sanctuary with the Ahamkara child. They find themselves boarding a ship and soaring through the air. Emily grabs ahold of the railing. Her Ghost spoke to her after appearing.

"Are you okay Guardian? Your heart rate is at concerning levels."

"Haven't flown in a while."

"Oh, does it give you anxiety?

"Yep."

The ship experienced turbulence and Emily gripped the railing even tighter.

"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, ohh shit."

"You know what's funny, Nicholas isn't making a sound and this is his first time flying, yet you're scared shitless even though you've flown a Jumpship."

Emily's Ghost looks at her and his eye "widens" in shock before asking her a question.

"You've flown a Golden Age Jumpship?"

"Yep, and designed more."

"Excellent! You must have a wealth of knowledge of combat concerning Jumpships."

"I don't really remember any of that stuff."

The Ghost warbles and looks away saddened before looking at Emily and "smiling" in his own way.

"It will come back to you, in time."

"Nicholas was a tank commander. Ain't that right Nicholas?"

Nicholas nods silently.

"So Eon..."

"Yes Axle?"

"We're almost there."

"Thanks."

Mary's Ghost, Charon, speaks up.

"The Vanguard are going to be very interested in our guardians."

"Indeed." Eon replied solemnly.
