Now that Seth knows the whole Truth about Sasha and Roman, the Shield have a very difficult decision to make. With the New Year just around the corner, DX do everything they can to stop things from getting out of control.

Chapter One – Snow Down in Stamford

DX Christmas Party, Stamford, CT

Alexa Bliss made sure her Christmas Party crew setup a canopy on the roof so that the Shield could have their Christmas dinner without snow falling on their shoulders. Bianca Belair had something very important to tell Seth and she asked for the entire Shield to be present, excluding Bayley that is.

"Are you guys sure this can't wait until after the Christmas Party? It would be so much better if we were all inside, the snow is really coming down out here," Alexa Bliss said and Bianca Belair shook her head.

"No this can't wait, I have to tell this secret right now," Bianca Belair said and Alexa Bliss grew concerned.

"Okay, I'll be back up to check on you guys a little later," she said and she was clearly worried about what Bianca was about to tell the Shield.

Bianca Belair took a deep breath to calm herself down before she spoke, "Okay, here goes...Seth?"

Seth raised his hand suddenly cutting Belair off, "Sorry my Treasurer but I have to interrupt you. Is there any chance that this could wait until after the Christmas Party?" Seth asked and Belair looked at him seriously.

"No, it can't wait Seth, I have to tell you what God told me right now," Belair replied.

Seth nodded that he understood, "Okay, its just that Alexa's had a rough week and if this is something that could ruin the party, I just thought maybe it would be best to tell us the secret after the party, that's all," he explained.

"This secret will not only ruin the party, it's going to change your life forever," Bianca Belair said and Roman and Dean looked at each other thoughtfully.

"Is this secret good or bad?" Roman asked Belair.

"Have you ever known a secret to be good?" Belair replied. "Just let me tell it and you can find out for yourselves,"

"Belair you know I value your Gift from God and I would never try to put a gag on you, but if this is going to bring us down, I think it should wait until we leave Connecticut," Seth said and Belair sighed.

"Seth you don't have carte blanche on when you want to hear what God has to say, especially something as huge as this. This secret directly impacts you and everyone at this table but not only that, it has an effect on people who aren't even here right now," Bianca explained.

"So what you're saying is that there's never gonna be a good time to tell us this huge secret," Dean Ambrose said.

"Yeah Dean, that's exactly what I'm saying, so can I tell it now?" Bianca Belair asked Seth but the Prayer Warrior shook his head.

"No, it can wait until after the party," Seth said and Dean and Roman drew a sigh of relief; they didn't wanna be bummed out by anything Belair had to tell them.

"But it can't wait Seth, I have to tell you right now!" Belair said. "If I don't tell you now, you won't have a chance to figure out how you're going to handle it,"

"Handle what?" Dean Ambrose asked curiously.

"Handle the fact that the-"

"I said it can wait until after the party," Seth said firmly and Belair buttoned her lip not wanting Seth to get angry. "Now let's park the huge life-altering secret and enjoy the rest of this amazing party that Roman and Alexa have gone to so much trouble to put on,"

"As you wish," Bianca said and she left to go find her husband Montez Ford while the Shield wondered what the secret she knew about them could be.

Alexa came back to the roof and saw the Shield eating alone, "So what was the secret?" she said sitting down next to Roman.

"Belair didn't tell us. We'll find out after the party," Roman said and Alexa smiled.

"I'm glad to hear that; there's nothing worse then getting bad news over the Christmas holidays," Alexa said. "So do you guys wanna come back inside? I'll have the elves shift everything downstairs for you in a second,"

Dean, Seth and Roman looked around at the view from the roof. They could see the snow decorating the ground like sleeping sheep within the enclosed space of the nicely decorated canopy Alexa and her elves had so expertly put up for them. Then there was the food; Roman, as always, had outdone himself, it was delicious.

"Actually I think we're good. We never get to spend time together, I think we'll stay up here Lexi," Seth said and Dean and Roman nodded in agreement.

"I'd like to make a toast," Roman said raising his glass and Seth and Dean followed suit, "to the Shield, may we have a fantastic Christmas with our family and loved ones and an amazing 2024,"

"To the Shield," Seth said.

"To the Shield," Dean said.

"To the Shield," Alexa Bliss said adding her glass to the clink. "And to the best Christmas Co-Host in the world," she said to Roman Reigns.

"Aw shucks, I couldn't have done it without you Alexa. You are the best Christmas Party planner in the world," Roman said and Seth and Dean raised their glasses again.

"Let's give a toast to Alexa. May you find the man of your dreams in 2024, a man that will appreciate you for the smart, sexy and talented woman who can do all things through Christ who strengthens her," Seth said and Alexa teared up. "To my former Maid of Armour and one of my best friends in the world,"

"To Alexa Bliss!" Dean Ambrose said and they clinked their glasses to an emotional Bliss who hugged all three Shield members graciously but she gave an extra special squeeze to Seth.

"Thank you big brother," she said sweetly.

"You deserve it Lil Miss Christmas Bliss," Seth replied and Roman smiled warmly to himself. It seemed that the drama between Seth and Alexa had come to an end all on its own and he didn't have to do anything.

"Things really have a way of just working out on their own don't they?" he said to Dean who was cutting through the delicious Christmas turkey.

"They sure do, oh man I love your cooking. If things don't go our way and Stephanie ends up taking over NXT, you should definitely consider cooking full-time Roman," Dean said.

"You know I actually invited Steph to the party, since she buried the hatchet with DX I figured she'd come but I haven't seen her," Alexa said.

"That's not good," Roman said and Seth nodded.

"No it isn't," he agreed.

"So let's not talk about it!" Dean Ambrose added and the Shield agreed and went back to talking about how great the Christmas Party was and how much they were all looking forward to the New Year. Whatever the future held for the Shield they agreed that they would bear it together.
