Author's Note: It's done! It's finally done! I'm so excited to share my story with you, whoever reads it. I had this idea years ago, and I've been working on it off and on for a long time. Now it's finally done and edited. I'll be posting one new chapter on a regular schedule. The prologue doesn't count, because it's super short. =)
Disclaimer: I don't own the turtles.

Prologue
I was taken for a spy again this morning. This is a land strangling itself with civil war. After trying most of the languages I can speak at least a little bit, I discovered a few of my captors speak limited Iesh'sha, and now they treat me with respect. I wonder if even they think I'm an ambassador. Not that that role is much like an actual ambassador; those people just show up, and their hosts treat them like royalty to avoid being stomped on by the powerful Iesh'sha army.
This place is beautiful- forests and plains and shining waters. Their buildings are strange and smooth. I do not understand all these terms the beings here use for themselves, but I have heard Deutsu and Othila. There is a third group whose name I cannot remember- but I shall not be returning here. I am apparently near the place of fighting, and I shall leave when I can. Maybe I'll be brave and try a new world. Somewhere with lots of green land and oceans. And hopefully not a lot of people.
