Under the arches
POV Lila's
Odd, Sissi, Ulrich, William, Yumi, Mary, and I are walking under the arches. We're heading over to the Rec Room. Odd decides to give Jeremy a call, since he's in his room.
"Guess what? Aelita and Yumi just bet they could wipe us out in foosball. So Ulrich and I are going to teach them a lesson," Odd tells him. I roll my eyes, surely Aelita and Yumi will win.
"Mary, Lila, Sissi, and William are going to watch. But whoever wins, William is going to go up against them. Why don't you join us and watch, too?" he asks.
There's a short pause, but we continue walking.
"Relax, Einstein," Odd says, lifting his hand out of his pocket then lifting a finger. "We'd thought you might like a front row seat to see Yumi and Aelita get thrashed. We weren't going to make you play."
There's another short pause.
"Always the optimist, huh Jeremy?" Odd asks. "Come on over, you could take a little break from the computer."
Odd stops walking.
"Hey, he hung up on me," he says. "Let's go and see him," Odd suggests.
We nod.
Jeremy's Room
Odd is the first one to run into Jeremy's room. He walks right past a boy I don't recognize. The boy looks… similar to Jeremy. Not exactly like a brother or anything, but he's a bit taller than Jeremy. He's wearing a black collared jacket, with matching pants and shoes.
Who is he? I don't recognize him, I think.
Odd pokes Jeremy's arms, which are crossed since it seems he's not exactly fond of this boy being here.
"Hey Jeremy, didn't anyone tell you it's bad manners to hang up on people?" Odd asks, before noticing the other boy.
"Incredible! Einstein made a handsomer clone of himself," Odd jokes.
"Very funny. This is my cousin, Patrick," Jeremy introduces. We walk over to Patrick.
"He's going to be a student here," he explains.
Ulrich raises his hand.
"Hi, my name's Ulrich. Another Belpois, huh?" he asks, pointing over to Patrick. "Are you also nuts about square roots and all of that stuff?"
Patrick chuckles.
"Oh no, I'm not as bright as Jeremy. That's for sure."
"You think he's bright, do you? If you ask me, he looks kind of dull," Odd comments.
"Oh yeah? Well, compared to the way you dress, anything can seem kind of dull," Patrick jokes.
We can't help but chuckle lightly. Odd puts his hands out.
"Hey, this is a classy outfit. It's based on KungFu Commando."
"Oh yeah, it's a great game. I guess you're stuck on level seven, because on level eight the clothes get a lot more tame," Patrick mentions.
Odd gapes his mouth a little.
"You two should get along," William comments.
"Yeah, a couple of joystick junkies. And here I thought we had someone for
football," Ulrich says.
Patrick looks at Ulrich.
"I'm not just into games, I'm into HaiKido too," he mentions.
"Oh yeah?" Ulrich asks, caught off guard. "That's cool. Well, I prefer doing PenCak Silat. We could train together."
"Great, but right now," Jeremy interrupts, drawing the attention back to him.
"Everybody out. I've got work to do. My report on the Vikings and their legendary Drakkar ship, the Skidbladnir? It's important, huh?" He asks.
Yumi goes over to the door and holds it open for us.
"Roger," Yumi says.
"We'll leave," Mary says. Aelita, Mary, William, and I, walk out of the room.
"Time to ship out, we've got a date with a foosball game," Yumi tells Jeremy.
"Yeah, should be a good one to watch," I say. I hear Odd and Sissi coming out too.
"Hey, why don't you come with us?" Yumi offers, to Patrick I assume.
"Hey, that would be great," Patrick replies.
She walks out of the room and goes over to Aelita, Mary, and I, who are now walking together.
"I can see exactly what you're after, so just leave my friends alone, okay? Make your own friends already," Jeremy tells him.
Yumi looks at the three of us.
"Was that family reunion typical of the Belpois'?" she asks.
"I have no idea," I reply.
My father never mentioned Patrick to me, so I guess their relationship never truly got better. In terms of relations, Patrick must be either my second or third cousin, I think. Or is it the other way around since I'm a time traveler...? I think, pondering on it.
Aelita stops walking. Yumi, Mary, and I stop too.
"I'll meet you over there. I forgot my mobile," she mentions.
"Sure thing," I say.
Aelita takes off and Patrick meets up with us, his hands in his pockets. He smiles slightly.
Yumi and Patrick walk a bit further, meeting up with Odd, Sissi, and William.
"You know, Patrick, you must have met my father by now," Sissi says.
"Oh yeah? Your father's the principal?" he asks.
"He sure is," Sissi replies, trying to make small talk. Mary looks at me.
"I felt a lot of tension between Jeremy and Patrick. Did you?" she asks.
"I did too," I reply.
Afterwards
Rec Room
Mary, Sissi, and I are sitting on the couch in the rec room. Aelita still hasn't shown up, which is concerning. So Patrick has been on Yumi's team. Ulrich and Odd are on the other side, William is on the front goalie side. He's keeping score.
"What's taking Aelita so long, anyway?" Odd asks, trying to score a goal. "I can't wait to teach you two ladies a lesson."
Patrick passes the ball to Yumi and she manages to get the soccer ball over to Ulrich and Odd's goal.
"Another one for Patrick and Yumi," William says.
"Thanks William, and you know we're teaching you a lesson now, right?" Yumi asks him. Odd points to Yumi.
"You don't deserve the credit, it was Patrick's pass!" he exclaims.
"If Jeremy wasn't stuck on his computer all day, he might be able to play like you," Ulrich says.
"Well, I wouldn't be too hard on him. After all, it's harder to be a wiz at math than playing foosball," Patrick says.
"Patrick, you seem to be a bit more grown up than Jeremy gave you credit for," Mary tells him. Patrick looks at her.
"Thanks, Mia," he says, and turns back to the others.
"Yeah, it's incredible. Einstein treats you like dirt, and yet you try to defend him. If he was my cousin, I'd ask for a divorce," Odd says.
"Odd dear, that's marriage," Sissi chuckles.
"Well, you get my point," Odd says.
I look over at the other couch in the room to see Herb looking at us. He turns back to watch TV with Nicholas.
That… was weird. Why would Herb be interested in our conversation? Are those two still sulking about losing Emily as their friend? They were never really nice to her, and her personality was different when she hung out with them, I think.
Mary, Sissi, and I continue to watch our friends play foosball. The ball is back on the center spot. They try to get it out in the playing field but it's no good, both sides are having trouble hitting it.
One of the doors open, and we turn to see Aelita has arrived.
"Aelita, finally," Odd says. They stop playing.
"Little change of program," she whispers. Yumi turns to look back at her.
"Xana?" she whispers.
"Mh-hmm," Aelita nods.
Patrick looks at us curiously.
"Replika," she whispers.
"Ah, okay," I whisper back.
Yumi, Ulrich, and William move away from the foosball table. Sissi, Mary, and I get up and start walking away from the couch.
"Sorry, but we have to go now," William says.
"Yeah, just a little problem to take care of," Ulrich says.
We reach the opened door.
"Who are Xana and Replika? A couple of greek friends?" Patrick asks.
We all walk out, but Odd is the last one.
"Haha yeah, right, and they make a wicked moussaka. But you've got to eat it while it's hot," he says, then rushes over to us.
"If it's all the same to you, I'll go hang out with Emily just so I'm here," Mary says.
"Right," I say.
"If there's trouble, send me an SOS," Mary says.
"I will," I say. Mary splits up from us, and we head over to the woods to catch up to Jeremy.
Tunnel system
We're riding as fast as we can through the sewers.
"Already here, Einstein?" Odd asks. "Did you get to program the NavSkid?"
"The program is running," Jeremy answers, "I've left my computer working while I'm gone. The update will install itself directly on the supercomputer."
Ulrich speeds over to Jeremy and Odd, passing William and Sissi.
"Yeah, but won't Patrick see it?" Ulrich asks.
"I locked my room," Jeremy replies. "He can't get in until I get back."
"Well, that's good," I say.
I just hope Herb and Nicholas don't try to manipulate Patrick in any way, I think. If they talk to him, that is. They seemed pretty interested in our conversation earlier, in the rec room.
Afterwards
Inside the scanner room
We walk into the scanner room. I step into one of the scanners, then Yumi, and then Odd. I close my eyes.
"Transfer: Lila, Transfer: Ulrich, Transfer: Odd," Jeremy starts. The scanner starts to spin and hum.
"Scanner: Lila, Scanner: Ulrich, Scanner: Odd," Jeremy continues.
The scanner continues to spin and hum. I wait for the gush of wind and brief light.
"Virtualization!" Jeremy finishes.
A gush of wind and brief light engulfs me in the scanner. It billows my hair and lifts my time machine necklace lightly. I'm virtualized to Sector Five.
Arena Room
Sector Five
Ulrich, Odd, and I land on the floor of the spinning arena room. The walls and everything else in this room, starts slowing down. We wait for Yumi and Aelita to be virtualized, which they are along with Sissi. We look up to see the three of them dropping to the floor and everything starts to align.
"And virtualization!" Jeremy adds.
William drops to the floor and everything now aligns. With the doorway open, we make our way to the Skid's hangar.

Digital Sea
NavSkid
We're all in our NavSkids now, on our way to the replika.
"I'm steady in the right direction, hub 10 in sight, Jeremy," Aelita says.
"Stabilize the NavSkids over the hyper fluid while I enter the Replika's coordinates and- darn it!" Jeremy exclaims.
"A problem?" Aelita asks.
"More like three problems," Jeremy answers. "A trail of sharks at eleven o'clock."
The Skid pulls into a stop.
"I'll stabilize the NavSkids," she says.
The digital sea's color starts shifting from blue to red.
Here we go, I think.
"Looks like there aren't enough for all of us!" William exclaims.
"Yumi, Ulrich, think you two can tag team one?" Odd asks.
"Sure thing, William," Yumi replies.
"Yeah, we've got it covered," Ulrich agrees.
"Good, then it'll be even now, and a piece of cake. I'm an expert at deserts," Odd jokes.
"That's for sure, Odd dear," Sissi chuckles lightly.
I get ready by putting my hands on the controls.
"Aelita, you wouldn't happen to mind releasing us?" I ask.
"Battle stations, sailors. NavSkids away!" Aelita exclaims.
We're released, and I punch the controls, accelerating away from the main Skid.
I can see the others are leaving blue trails behind in their NavSkids. One of the Kongre's opens its mouth and fires off a torpedo at the Skid.
"Keep it off the Skid," Jeremy warns. "Deflector shield hasn't finished uploading yet."
"Yumi, with me. Let's get this shark," Ulrich tells her.
"Right!" Yumi exclaims.
The two of them drive their NavSkids in a new direction, letting one of the Kongres follow them.
I keep heading straight for my Kongre, then make a rough turn to let it follow us. Odd and William have another Kongre following them already.
"On my count, Sissi," I tell her.
"Right," Sissi says. I continue to pilot the NavSkid.
After making a u-turn, I stop the NavSkid. The Kongre is heading straight for us.
"On three, Sissi," I tell her, locking onto the target.
"You won't get away from us that easily!" Ulrich exclaims.
"Yeah!" Yumi exclaims.
"One, two-" I start.
"And three!" Sissi exclaims. She fires off a torpedo before the Kongre can open its mouth.
"Now, Ulrich!" Yumi exclaims. The torpedo heads for the Kongre and is about to hit it.
"Take this, you overgrown sardine," Ulrich says.
The torpedo just barely misses the Kongre as it swims below it, it swims fast, passing us. I take the controls and follow after it.
"Factory to Nav Skids. Head back to the Skid," Jeremy tells us.
"What's wrong princess, feeling lonesome?" Odd jokes.
"No time for jokes, Odd. I don't have a shield any more- ah!" Aelita exclaims.
Oh no! I think. I turn right and head back the way I came. I push the controls forward, accelerating.
"Aelita!" Odd and William exclaim.
"Aelita, hang on, I'm coming," I inform her.
"Listen, Nav Skids, I've lost contact with her. Get to her, fast. She's being swept away by a digital tide."
"I'm on my way, Jeremy!" I exclaim.
"Okay, Ulrich and I are breaking off," Yumi tells him.
"It's impossible to debug it. It's coming from the program I left running in my room," Jeremy explains.
"Jeremy, I think this is Herb's doing. I saw him and Nicholas interested in our conversation earlier today in the rec room," I tell him.
"You did?" Sissi asks.
"Yes, I'm sorry, I should have said something sooner," I say, regretful.
"Even if it was Herb, it's not like he had a key to my-" Jeremy cuts himself off. "Oh no, Sissi, your father would have given Patrick a spare key. Right?"
"Yes, most likely," Sissi replies.
"If it is Herb, I'm going to try and handle him from here," Jeremy says. I continue pushing the Nav Skid's speed.
Gotta get to mom! I think, worried.
"Jeremy to Nav Skids. Lila, it seems your suspicions might be right. The only way to deal with this bug is to go back to my room."
All four of us meet up with our NavSkids then continue towards Aelita.
"Thanks a lot for leaving us alone to protect Aelita," Yumi says.
"Yeah, you can count on us, Einstein!" William exclaims.
If we're all joined up together, there's a good chance the Kongres are too! I think.
Sure enough, the Kongres fire their torpedoes at us. I take the controls and use them to spin the Nav Skid upwards. We dodge their torpedoes.
"There's a whole aquarium that won't let us get through," Ulrich says.
"Yeah, they're really behaving like pests today," William comments.
"I know that, you two, but as soon as the bug is fixed we can bring back the Nav Skids back in. So hang on," Jeremy says.
We continue piloting our NavSkids along.
"I don't believe it! Activated tower in the desert sector. Nav Skids, we're changing our plans. We've got to bring Aelita back to Lyoko."
More torpedoes are launched at us, causing the four of us to split in different directions.
"You want us to turn the sharks into fish sticks, find the Skid, then haul it back with our tiny little reactors?" Odd asks.
"That pretty much sums it up," Jeremy answers.
"Okay, Odd and I have got this, Einstein," William says.
"I'm activating a firewall in the system, so you won't have any trouble while I'm gone."
"Good luck, Jeremy!" I exclaim, and make another turn.
"Sissi, we've got to take care of the Kongre on our tails," I tell her.
"I know, just tell me when," Sissi says.
I make a turn, heading over to the direction where Yumi and Ulrich should be.
"Yumi, I need some help. Coming your way," I tell her.
"On it," Yumi says.
I keep piloting the NavSkid towards Ulrich and Yumi. Soon, their NavSkids are in sight. One of them pulls back to behind the Kongre, which speeds past us, and tries to turn around. Playing right into our hands.
"Now, Sissi!" I exclaim.
"Got it!" Sissi exclaims, and fires off another torpedo. The torpedo flies at the Kongre and hits. The Kongre explodes.
"Thanks for that, Yumi," I say.
"Anytime," Yumi says. She speeds over to us, and then passes us.
I can see Ulrich launching a torpedo at a Kongre, flying right in front of Odd and William's NavSkid. Ulrich's torpedo hits the Kongre, and it explodes.
"Nice one, Ulrich," Odd compliments.
"Yeah, definitely a good hit," William agrees.
With only one Kongre left to worry about, Ulrich says:
"We've got to dive down and find Aelita. Let's go!"
The remaining Kongre fires a torpedo at Ulrich, Odd, and William's NavSkids. They dive down in time to dodge it.
"Let's follow them, Yumi!" I exclaim.
"Right!" Yumi exclaims too.
We follow the boys, diving down.
"Over there, I can see the Skid!" Odd exclaims.
On the Skid, it looks like there's some weird monster that's trying to break through the window. Its legs are holding the Skid in place.
"What is that thing?" William asks.
"I'm not sure, it looks like the monster from the deadest film massacre," Odd replies.
"Yeah, except this one looks worse," Yumi agrees.
The monster continues to try and drill through the Skid's glass where Aelita is.
This doesn't look good, I think, worried.
"On your right, Yumi," William tells her.
"You're right, Yumi. The mad dentist is a saint compared to this monster," Odd adds.
"In formation, here we go," Yumi tells us. All of us get into formation, as we start driving closer to Aelita.
"William, Sissi. Standby and be ready to fire. The rest of us NavSkids, it's the same!" Yumi orders. Sissi presses a button on one of her controls, but for some reason nothing's happening.
"What's - going on?" Sissi asks, confused.
"There's no more power," Ulrich replies. "But why?" he asks.
"Something must be wrong," I reply.
We speed past the Skid, not something I want to do. Sissi turns back.
"We've still got that one Kongre left to deal with it," she informs.
"We see it," Odd says. I split off from the others.
"Yumi, like last time. Except it's me and Sissi on the bait side," I say.
"On it! Follow me, you guys," Yumi tells them.
With the boys following her, I continue piloting the NavSkid. I let the Kongre follow me and Sissi. I make a right turn, and then a torpedo is launched at us. We're hit. The NavSkid shakes a bit. I check the shield's status, and it's low.
"Guys, we're in trouble," I inform."The deflector shield is almost done. Another hit and it's all over."
"That's not good, if only we had more power," Ulrich says.
"Try to lose it!" Odd suggests. I take another turn, and punch the controls, probably exceeding their limits. I speed over to where the Skid was earlier.
"Jeremy, can you hear me?" Aelita asks. I check the shield's status, the power is coming back!
"Guys, I've got power!" I exclaim.
"So do I!" Ulrich exclaims. "And nice to hear your voice again, Aelita. Einstein strikes again. Lila, do me a favor and head my way."
"On it," I say.
Heading back over to Ulrich and the others, the Kongre continues chasing me.
"I gotta say, he's persistent," Sissi says.
"Yeah, but now he's done for," I say. Reaching the others, Odd exclaims:
"Lila, dive and we'll fire!"
"Right!" I exclaim, diving.
"Fire!" Odd and William exclaim. William launches his torpodeo from their Nav Skid. I stop diving and straighten out. We see the first torpedo moving quickly, then Ulrich's torpedo, and lastly Yumi's. Sissi and I watch the three torpedoes getting closer to the Kongre. They all converge on it, and hit the Kongre. It explodes.
"We did it!" Odd exclaims.
"We sure did!" William agrees.
"Yeah, now let's go back to Aelita," Yumi suggests.
"On it, meeting you guys up there now," I say. I drive the NavSkid upwards. I meet up with the others and together we drive to meet up with Aelita.
As she comes into view, we see she's now protected with her shield again, and the monster is having a difficult time drilling.
"It's not as easy as it was, is it?" Aelita asks.
"I hate to bother you, princess, but do you mind stepping aside?" Odd asks.
"Uh huh, reverse propulsion," Aelita says. Aelita turns the turbos on and goes in reverse. The monster loses its hold on the Skid completely.
"Fire!" Ulrich exclaims. He launches two torpedoes.
"Fire, Sissi!" I exclaim.
"On it, launching torpedoes!" Sissi exclaims. She launches two torpedoes.
"William, you know what to do!" Odd exclaims.
"On it, fire!" William launches his torpedoes too.
"Fire!" Yumi exclaims.
The monster tries to get away, but all of our torpedoes converge on it. Each torpedo hits the monster one by one, until it explodes in a burst of yellow light.
"Well done, I can bring you in now. Next stop, Lyoko," Aelita says.
"Roger," Yumi says.
"NavSkids in," Aelita says.
We bring our NavSkids over to the Skid. The digital sea's color shifts from red to blue.
Can't wait to get my feet back on some ground, even if it's Lyoko, I sigh internally.
Once all of the NavSkids are in position, Aelita gets the Skid going.
"Maximum, propulsion!"
Afterwards
Lyoko's Desert Sector
The Skid is brought out of the digital sea, we're now on Lyoko's desert sector. The Skid flies all the way up, spinning too, all the way to one of the plateaus.
The Skid is guided all the way to the edge of a small bridge.
"Disembarking," Aelita says.
Outside the Skid
One by one, we're all transported outside the Skid. We reappear on the ground at the same time. Odd stretches a bit and puts his hand on his head.
"Ah, that's much better, I had virtual pins and needles in my legs," Odd jokes.
Aelita shakes her head, sighing.
Suddenly, lasers from the direction of the activated tower. We're not hit by them, thankfully.
I see three Tarantulas. I take my hunter's knife out of its holster, Ulrich takes his twin katana blades out of his sheaths. Yumi takes her Tessen Fans out. I move up to where Ulrich and Yumi are.
"Ah, that's better, a good old fashioned land duel," Ulrich says.
Aelita gets in between us. She summons her energy field to the palm of her hand and launches it at one of the Tarantulas. The energy field flies at the Tarantula, shocks it, and it explodes. The two remaining Tarantulas start firing their lasers at us again.
"Aelita, don't be a party pooper. You're spoiling the fun," Ulrich says, then blocks the lasers with his weapons. I do too.
"Quit complaining, Jeremy's in trouble," Aelita tells him.
"Right, let's go!" I exclaim.
The others nod and we start running, our weapons in our hands. The Tarantulas continue to fire at us.
William summons a fireball in his hand.
"Fire-" and Yumi throws one of her Tessen Fans. Both Yumi and William are hit by incoming lasers. They're thrown back and devirtualize in a cloud of pixels. The Tarantula bows its head, ducking the Tessen Fan.
"Sissi, push me with your wind ability," I tell her.
"Okay!" Sissi exclaims. She charges her power, and I start running at one of the Tarantulas. With the other one trying to turn its attention on me, Odd speaks up.
"Hey, handsome, I wouldn't focus on her," Odd jokes. "You didn't look up," he comments. The Tarantula looks up, and I jump in the air.
"Wind blasts!" Sissi exclaims. She launches her wind blasts at me, giving me a boost through the air. I fly at the Tarantula as it lifts its arms.
"Not this time!" I exclaim. I see Ulrich running all the way down from the tower, using his super sprint.
I get on top of the Tarantula's head, thanks to Sissi. Ulrich jumps off the tower and uses his katana blades to plunge them into the target eye of his Taratunla. I take my hunter's knife out, then plunge my hunter's knife into the target eye, and jump off. I back away, and Ulrich uses his super sprint to jump off. He lands in between Aelita and Odd.
Our Tarantulas explode. I run over to them. Ulrich puts his twin katana blades back into his sheaths. I put my hunter's knife back in its holster. We hear the drone of the Tarantulas. Two more are coming our way.
I take my hunter's knife, Sissi takes her boomerang out and Ulrich takes his twin katana blades out again.
"Better hurry, Xana's sending some friends over," Ulrich tells her. Aelita nods and starts running for the tower. I hear her entering the tower's "doorway."

Inside the scanner room
Sissi and I let the Tarantulas devirtualize us, considering we couldn't exactly have someone materialize us. Yumi called Jeremy earlier but no luck. William is with us too, since he was also devirtualized. He figured there must be something really wrong. The scanners doors open. Ulrich, Odd, and Aelita step out of their scanners.
"Has anyone seen Jeremy?" Aelita asks.
"No, we haven't," William replies.
"And he's not answering his cell phone," Yumi adds, ending the attempted phone call.
Afterwards
Inside the freight elevator
We're all in the freight elevator and Aelita calls Jeremy. She puts him on speaker and he picks up this time.
"Jeremy, are you-" Aelita starts to say, but he interrupts her.
"Aelita, are you at the factory?" Jeremy asks, he sounds worried.
"I am," Aelita replies.
"Hurry, launch a return trip. Patrick's in bad shape," Jeremy informs, then hangs up.
Inside the lab
The freight elevator's doors open. Aelita rushes into the lab and goes to Jeremy's chair. She doesn't sit on it, but starts typing on the keyboard. I hear a window pop up for the return to the past program, then she presses the enter key.
"Return to the past now!" Aelita exclaims.
A big white bubble comes out of the holosphere and engulfs all of us. It sends us back in time.
Earlier the same day
Jeremy's room
We're in Jeremy's room again, he's typing on his keyboard.
"Well, we can finally play foosball," Odd says.
"In a hurry to get crushed, Odd?" Yumi asks. Jeremy closes a window on his computer, he turns to look at us.
"Odd's right, come on. Let's all go to the rec room," he says. He gets up from his chair.
"You too?" Mary asks.
"Yeah, Jeremy, what about your program - I mean, your report on the vikings?" Aelita asks, correcting herself. Jeremy puts his hands up.
"It can wait. It's not everyday you can hang with your cousin," he says.
Patrick smiles and we start walking out.
"So does your team want a handicap?" Ulrich asks. We walk out of the room and head down the hallway.
"That depends, if Patrick plays on their team and we get stuck playing with Jeremy, we'll be the ones needing a handicap," Odd replies, laughing loudly at his own joke.
"Either way, remember I get to play the winning team," William says.
"We know, don't worry," Sissi reassures.

"And are you planning on hanging out again with Emily, "Mia"?" Aelita asks.
"I'm not sure, let's see how today goes," Mary replies.

"Unfortunately, Jeremy found out from Delmas that Patrick can't stay at Kadic. A last minute decision," I tell Kayori, who's on the other line.
"That's too bad. It sounded like they were just starting to get along. too," Kayori says.
"Yeah, it is too bad," I agree.
Unfortunately I don't think they ever got reacquainted at any family events. My father never spoke of Patrick… I guess there's not much I can do about that, I think.
