**Author's Note: Hallo! So I finished this chapter but I was nervous about posting it, don't ask why but I was. It was foolish, I too can be foolish at times. Strange, I know right? Anyway! I breezed through this chapter as quickly as I could, because I wanted to update it and why not when I have to be up super early right? :D I hope you all enjoy, thank y'all for y'all's patience. Heads up, I'm actually playing around with two different endings for this fanfiction. One is normal and the other is like wtf did this come from? - but honestly, I like that one more because :D I just do. I'm thinking about ending with the normal one and then just posting the alternate one as like, you know this would have been a possibility of an ending! Still deciding though! If you wouldn't mind me doing that let me know either as a review or message. If you don't care, then that's okay too! Thank you for your time!**

Gaara trembled underneath Sasuke as he pressed into him slowly. His body erupted into gentle waves of pleasure and he could barely stay sane with the slow pace with which Sasuke pleasurably tortured him. He gently bucked upwards allowing Sasuke to enter him further.

Sasuke smiled at his eager lover and pressed into him quickly. He nearly climaxed at the tightening of Gaara around him. He exhaled as he tried to control his lower half. Sasuke leaned forward and nipped gently at Gaara's pale skin. The morning light was showing the abundant array of red marks adorning his skin.

"Sasuke, more," Gaara pleaded softly, "I want more,"

Sasuke wasted little time in satisfying his lover's demands. He began thrusting into him hard. Gaara trembled and pulled their bodies closer together as he felt so close to his climax. He dug his fingers into Sasuke's back as he climaxed. His entire body stiffening under the immense pleasure and the feeling of Sasuke spilling his seed inside of him.

Gaara clung to him even minutes after they finished. Sasuke gently removed himself from inside Gaara but didn't let them part.

Gaara sighed slowly and kissed Sasuke's neck, "I want to stay like this for the rest of my life until the gods strike me from the Earth."

Sasuke chuckled warmly and kissed Gaara's head, "You are not alone in such wishes. I hope that we will be able to stay together despite a troubled and deceitful beginning," He mumbled quietly.

Gaara pulled from him smiling, "Are you implying you wish to repent for such a dubious act?"

"How would his majesty have me repent?" Sasuke whispered lowly as his hands raked over Gaara, ready to receive punishment.

Gaara sat up, his red hair had lengthened as if overnight and it fell around his shoulders displaying a beautiful contrast to his skin. He touched his index finger to Sasuke's chest, "The only suitable punishment I can see is-"

"Captain!" Kiba yelled from the other side of the door. They both looked to the door then at each other. Gaara exhaled with a resigned expression and shrugged.

Sasuke, frustratingly sat up and moved to the edge of the bed. He pulled his trousers up and quickly fastened them, he felt like a child being forced to attended lessons, when there was more comfort with lying in bed. He glanced back at Gaara, who was acting childlike as well and had fell back into the bed and had his back to Sasuke.

"What?" He shouted in reply, grabbing his shirt from the floor and pulling it over his head, his eyes did not leave the divine figure in his bed.

"Shikamaru has spotted the shores of Suna, we will be there soon!" He called out.

Sasuke walked around his bed and saw Gaara's pouting face. His lips were a plump red color from their kissing and his eyes burned with a small frustrated flame. Sasuke stepped over to him and took his head in his hands. Gaara's eyes refused to settle on his, purely out of defiance.

Tilting Gaara's head he leaned down and watched as Gaara closed his eyes for a kiss. He could only assume he felt he deserved after being left for other matters.

Sasuke glanced up at the sound of the door slamming against the wall and Kiba standing in the doorway. Immediately, he was caught off guard, be it the attractive figure in the bed or Sasuke's grimace, he didn't speak for a moment as he searched for words.

Gaara moved from Sasuke's grasp of his head and rolled over to sit up and face the person who had entered, "Naruto should have seen to our safe passage into Suna. Raise the white flag and ready a boat for me to travel on, so that I may greet them and allow for even safer passage,"

Kiba nodded obediently and glanced over Gaara again, now recognizing him. He bowed and quickly left the room.

Gaara moved the blanket from over his legs and began to move out of the bed, ignoring Sasuke, but was quickly pinned down to the mattress.

He looked up to see Sasuke staring down at him with a hungry gaze that sent shivers through his body. The feeling of his wrists clasped by Sasuke's hands was intimate and gentle, but tight. Gaara immediately recognized the gaze he thought to be hungry, was actually of jealousy.

"Sasuke, you aren't jealous are you?" Gaara teased and attempted to pull his wrists from Sasuke's grip, and he let him. Sasuke growled at the suggestion and dove into Gaara neck with rushed and possessive vigor.

Gaara trembled and ached at the onslaught of bites and gentle sucking of his skin, "Sasuke, we have…ah, please I have to get…get ready,"

"I am jealous," Sasuke whispered into Gaara's neck and wrapped his arms around him, "I don't want anyone to see you so intimately, only me," He kissed Gaara's neck.

Gaara chuckled and embraced Sasuke to him, "If you wish for only you to see me so intimately then perhaps the punishment I wish to inflict upon you would satisfy your wishes,"

Sasuke moved so that he could meet Gaara's eyes. His gaze questioning the turquoise gems which playfully teased him, "What punishment must I endure?"

Gaara led them through the hallway of his former home. Everything looked just as it was the day he left with there, with the exception of the colored drapes. They were a deep blue color indicating wartime, something he had only read about in his studies and seen drawing of in books and paintings.

He slowed down slightly as he came to the opened doors of their counsel room. Sasuke stepped closer to him as they entered the room together and approached the group of familiar faces standing near the formal throne area.

"Gaara!" Temari exclaimed loudly and rushed to greet her brother with no regard of her dignified standing. Her arms wrapped around him as she hugged him and caused him to stagger back.

Gaara wrapped his arms around her tightly, "Temari, I've missed you and Kankuro so much!"

Temari shook her head against his head and whispered, "No, I am quite sure you have been far too busy to worry over us," She pulled away from him and smiled taking his head in her hands sighing.

Her eyes lingered on him a moment longer before settling on Sasuke standing beside him. She smirked and leaned closer to Gaara, "You have been quite distracted my dear brother." Her pale fingers tapping on the nape of his neck and her eyes knowingly drifting to Sasuke.

Gaara's face flushed a deep red color and he stepped from his sister, "Temari, this is Sasuke…he was my escort for some time while I was away and…"

"He lost you for quite some time, I understand and I see that you have been found," She noted and looked at him sternly, "Gaara...just what were you thinking?"

Gaara exhaled softly, "That is of little significance to why we have the war drapes in our corridors, tell me what has happened?" He asked as if he couldn't already guess.

Temari stared at him and closed her eyes with a tired breath. She turned on her heel and walked to the group of familiar faces standing around their strategy table. Gaara followed her as Sakura and Ino took off towards Sasuke, who stood back from them.

"Sasuke!" They both said in unison and hugged him. He smiled and returned their embrace.

"I'm glad you two made it here safely and without any trouble,"

Ino scoffed, "Without any trouble he says! Do you know how much a bounty on my head is worth? Can you imagine me letting Sakura lie about having captured me, just so we could even get into this place?" She asked in a rowdy tone, "Even more so, I had to sleep in the dungeon while she got to sleep in the lap of luxury until she saw fit to see her majesty so that I could be freed!"

"You spent one night in the dungeon and that was only because you took so long trying to 'look the part' so that put us off from arriving while her majesty was available!"

"Oh shut it you sea witch," Ino spat and pushed on Sakura roughly.

Sakura wrinkled her brow and moved from Sasuke, "Sea witch? That's something coming from someone who has been on land for a month and still reeks of fish!"

Ino fumed and jumped at Sakura, but Sasuke quickly grabbed her, "Have you two really been this cut throat, the entire time?" He asked tiredly.

Sakura smirked, "Believe it or not, that big mouth of hers actually closed,"

Ino glared at Sakura, "Where's Kakashi, I need someone to cheer me up…" She looked at Sasuke relaxing from fighting against him.

The entire group stiffened at the sound of Kakashi's name. An air of coolness settled over them, both Ino and Sakura noticed it immediately.

Pushing away from Sasuke, Ino started looking at everyone behind him. Sakura did the same and a sickness resonated in her stomach at the sight of another missing face. She grabbed Sasuke's arm and stared up at him, before looking behind him and seeing the lowered heads.

"Sasuke…where's Neji and Kakashi?" She asked looking back at him concerned.

Sasuke looked down at her, then at Ino as she grabbed his other arm. He sighed and looked ahead at Gaara who was busy talking with Temari.

"From what I was told…"

"They helped us in getting the hand up over Orochimaru, they both fought to keep us from getting captured by Orochimaru," Shikamaru told them quietly as he walked past them to join Temari and Gaara.

Sasuke pulled both of them to him hugging them, "I don't know what Orochimaru would do to them if they've been captured. I only know that we need focus on trying to gain the upper hand over Orochimaru." Sasuke whispered to them and kissed both of their foreheads.

They both hugged Sasuke tightly. Kiba approached Ino's side and rubbed her shoulder. She moved from Sasuke and embraced Kiba swiftly, not letting her face be seen.

Gaara continued staring at the outlay of their world and the numerous attacks that had been made over a short course of time. Temari told him of each attack on fishing vessels that ventured too far out to sea.

They were not a nautical country and many of their sea vessels had been disarmed since his father had come into power. He could only assume they would pale in comparison to anything Orochimaru had available.

"Honestly, I don't think we will be able to convince the council of conducting warfare. They are heavily against the notion of bloodshed and seeing as Orochimaru has yet to attack our city directly, they remain unmoved to take any course of action," Temari spat as she leaned against the large table.

"He has already killed fifteen of our people and as I saw coming to the palace, the people were far more on our side than the council's. Ultimately, they are the ones we need to answer to, lest they take matters into their own hands," Gaara argued crossing his arms as his heart became heavy.

Their people, although reasonable, were still as volatile as they had been in years past. Injustice was not something they looked fondly on and even more so, they did not curve their thirst for justice based on mandates from the council. Rather they looked to their ruler, a loyal gesture not lost to time, nor to the changing of the power structure.

Temari sighed quietly, "Such a thought hasn't been absent in my mind," She mumbled softly and turned facing the table, "Our people have been quiet thus far and haven't conducted themselves too irrationally. We set a range for all fishing vessels, set a curfew, and have mandated an evacuation of our people living on the shores to beginning at dawn,"

"Why dawn?" Shikamaru asked tentatively stepping close to the large outlay.

"Who is he?" She asked shooting a heady gaze to him and then to Gaara.

"He is Shikamaru, a navigator on board Sasuke's ship,"

"So a pirate, I presume? Or am I wrong?" She faced Shikamaru with a fierce demeanor.

"I am a pirate by choice,"

"As any person given the means would be," She spat with a tone of sarcasm

Shikamaru closed his mouth and shook his head mumbling under his breath, "Too troublesome,"

"No, I insist, why do you question my decree?"

"Should Orochimaru decide to attack, he would do so under the cover of the night and quietly. If you wait for dawn, you will have less people to evacuate and even less to join hands against him,"

"He's right…Orochimaru won't wait for us and seeing as he may already have forces joined with him. His attack will come more swiftly," Kankuro boomed as he came into the room.

Gaara seeing him quickly rushed to him and took his hand in his for a brief moment before his brother enveloped him in an embrace.

Temari looked back at the outlay and sighed before she walked to Shikamaru and reached her hand to him. He took it cautiously and she gripped it and tugged him forward, but he kept his balance by grabbing her other arm tightly.

He looked up at the blond beauty staring down her nose at him, "Gratitude for your insight, only next time, ask before you speak so directly towards me," She growled before giving him another look over and letting go of him.

She immediately left from the room without another word. Gaara watched her as Kankuro stepped past him and walked to the outlay of land. He looked over it impressed with the accuracy of it and glanced at Shikamaru rubbing his hand with a pained expression.

"Her bite is a lot worse than her bark," He stated with a cheeky grin.

Shikamaru looked at him and rolled his eyes, "I was trying to help,"

"Don't you mean her bark is worse than her bite?" Sakura asked coming to the outlay, her eyes set on Kankuro.

He chuckled, "No, here in Suna, you heed not the words people say but the actions they take, seeing how she behaved, I would say your friend here is on her good side," Kankuro winked at Sakura, "Really good side,"

"No matter," Gaara stated hearing the slight insinuation his brother made and tapped on the table, "We need to begin evacuating all of the port side dwellers, through the old tunnels as quickly and carefully as we can,"

"Don't worry brother, I have already instructed the militia to begin evacuating," He stated confidently, "This can't wait for Temari to ask for permission from the council and for them to muddle about discussing the ramification of such a feat in such little time or debate if Orochimaru would actually have the gall to attack us,"

"They do not believe he will?" Gaara asked him surprised.

Kankuro scoffed, "At least five of them do not believe so, and of course they ordered we send some of our militia to inquire. We have heard nothing from them and inquiries to as their whereabouts have been in vain, as our searchers do not return," He hung his head staring coldly down at the outlay.

"Though we may be able to fight against him on land, He could very well plan on attacking us from the sea," Kankuro motion over the outlay.

"You have sent word to our Northern, Eastern, and Southern capitals?" Gaara responded and motioned to them.

"Yes, I have sent word for them to begin evacuating their ports and cities. We have heard back from all but the Northern Capital, I have sent searchers out to see if our message was intercepted, so far no word back from them," Kankuro crossed his arms.

"I will go to the North," Ino spoke, stepping up to them, "I've travelled there many times and I know how to avoid the main roads and to keep out of sight, far enough into the capital without being spotted."

Sasuke walked to Gaara's side with a disapproving expression and shook his head, "We can't risk it, if you were to get caught-"

"We will send with you one of our assassins. We do not typically call for them, but we can in order to ensure you safe passage, should you enter the Northern capital," Gaara clapped his hands twice and two guards came forward. He relayed his request and they quickly left the room.

"What is his name?" Ino asked as she began to tighten her belt in preparation to leave. Sakura went to her side and began shoving small vials into her pouches from her own.

"Her name is Hinata,"
