Now that Seth knows the whole Truth about Sasha and Roman, the Shield have a very difficult decision to make. With the New Year just around the corner, DX do everything they can to stop things from getting out of control.
Chapter Fifteen – Bliss and Make Up
The Ortons
Alexa Bliss had picked up Renee Young from the airport with Sasha Banks and they were making their way back to the Ortons when Dean Ambrose called his wife and told him that Roman and Galina had made up and were staying together.
"Dean that's incredible!" Renee said excitedly and she turned to Alexa and the Boss, "Dean said that Galina and Roman made up and they're staying together!"
Sasha clasped her hands together with relief and Alexa thanked God for answering Seth's prayer. Alexa knew how hard Seth had prayed for Roman not to lose Galina because of him fathering Sasha's firstborn child and that prayer had been answered.
Alexa hugged Sasha as they got into Bianca's Thunderbird, E S T had given it to Sasha to pick up Renee from the airport with Bliss. As Renee got the details from Dean on the phone, Alexa talked to Sasha about her plans now that she was having Roman's baby and not Seth's like she thought.
"Are you okay Boss?" Alexa asked Sasha and the Boss exhaled deeply.
"I'm happy Galina and Roman are staying together, that is awesome. There's still the issue of the baby not being Seth's. He doesn't deserve this Alexa and yet he still wants to raise the baby with me," Sasha said and Alexa smiled.
"Boss that's great! He doesn't even care that the baby's not his and he still loves you, that sounds like victory to me sister!" Alexa said and Sasha looked down.
"I don't know Lexi, I think its too much to ask someone to raise someone else's child. I mean I know his heart is in the right place but when the baby's born and he realises it doesn't belong to him, its going to crush him. Seth's a great guy but he's not perfect and I know he's mad at me for sleeping with Roman before we started dating. Now he's going to raise someone else's son, its just too much Alexa," Boss said and Alexa shook her head in disagreement.
"You can have a baby with Seth anytime you want, why else would he stick around unless he didn't want to have a child with you? He's not going to leave you because of what happened with Roman, that wouldn't make any sense. Its not like this is the only child you're going to have Sasha. Seth's invested in you, he's dedicated to his marriage and he's going to be dedicated to this baby too. You could not ask for a better husband," Alexa said. "I almost envy you; after what happened with AJ, I know for a fact that men like Seth are few and far between. You're a blessed woman Sasha,"
Sasha stared at the pink diamond on her wedding ring thoughtfully, "Its funny you say that Alexa, because I feel more like a curse. Being with me was the worst decision Seth ever made and there's only one thing I can do to make this all go away,"
She twisted her wedding ring back and forth and prepared herself to have a very serious conversation with Seth when they got to the Orton's.
Seth was already having a serious conversation at the Ortons with Triple H and Bianca Belair was listening on standby as the Game and the Architect exchanged verbal blows about what happened in New York plus other stuff.
The afternoon was cold but Bianca Belair was warm; she had spent the whole day with her husband in various places across the city and she had successfully witnessed a marital reunion through prayer. Love was all around and even the Game's angry face couldn't spoil how good she felt right now about Seth, Sasha and Roman. The more time she spent with the Shield, the more she respected them and the love and bond they had for each other was amazing to her. It reminded her of the bond she had with the Street Profits, which though in need of repair, was still as strong as it started out. Bianca just hoped Stephanie McMahon wouldn't come between her and the Profits the same way that Hunter was trying to come between Seth and Sasha right now.
"Hayworth told me you were talking to Steph at the hotel the night before it burned down. What were you doing talking to my ex-wife Seth?" Hunter asked.
"I'm assigned to her remember? I was keeping her out of your business, she was trying to do to the Street Profits what she did to Finn Balor," Seth explained and Hunter rubbed his hand over his face annoyed. "I've got your back Hunter, I'm not pulling anything funny,"
"I know you have my back Seth, my problem is that you don't seem to understand that it is my responsibility to keep you from making the same mistakes that I did when I was your age. I don't need you talking to Steph about business out of the office, you were supposed to tell me and let me deal with it," Hunter said.
"No that's not how this assignment works; I do what God tells me to do when it comes to this assignment, you are not in charge of my assignment. Working for you and working for God are two different things, they just happen to involve the same person right now," Seth countered.
"Why didn't you call me and tell me my ex-wife was trying to poach our talent Seth?" Hunter said and Seth got hot.
"Oh I don't know Hunter, maybe because I was dealing with the fact that my wife was having my best friend's baby?" he snapped annoyed.
"Again, something you failed to let me know! Damn it Seth, why are you always keeping me at arm's length?" Hunter yelled. "I should have been the first person you called when you found out the baby wasn't yours, just like I should have been the first person you told when you decided to marry Sasha. Once again I'm left finding out the sametime as everyone else, I'm sick of you acting like I don't mean anything to you!"
Seth shook his head, "You sound just like her," he said unimpressed. "You and Stephanie still think after all these years that I owe you something. Sasha is my wife, just because we fell in love under your watch, it doesn't make you my godfather Hunter,"
Hunter snickered, "Let me smarten you up about Sasha Banks kid," he said and he stepped closer to Seth and Bianca got to her feet. She could tell something violent was about to go down and she stood in front of Hunter and waved her finger in his face. "Can I help you Belair?" Hunter said to Seth's Treasurer.
"Not today boss, this is not the day for you to throw hands with Seth. He's been through Hell, if you guys are going to talk, you're going to respectfully discuss your issues without getting physical," she said and Hunter backed off.
"Okay I'll give your mentor the respect he deserves, I'll step back and get out of his face," Hunter said and Bianca sat back down after successfully diffusing the situation.
"Thank you," Seth said. "It really has been a Hell of a few days,"
"Its going to be a Hell of a New Year if you don't keep that wife of yours is check," Hunter said and Seth shook his head.
"I'm sorry I care more about my marriage than you do Hunter," Seth said.
"I care about your marriage and I can't wait for it to end," Hunter said. "You think you can stay married to a woman who dated you by default?"
Seth narrowed his brow, "What are you talking about?" he said.
"Seth, you've been under my wing for long enough, you have got to know when a girl is running game by now," Hunter said and Seth laughed.
"You think Sasha married me to get ahead of the game? Please, you clearly don't know what you're talking about Hunter," Seth said.
"There you go again, not giving me the props I deserve. After all these years of mentoring you and showing you how this business works, you let your guard down and marry a woman who only married you because of your place in this business." Hunter said dismissively.
Bianca raised her eyebrow wondering where Hunter was going. Seth kept his composure and remained as poised as always, so she resisted the urge to speak up on her mentor's behalf.
"Sasha could have married anyone, why did she choose you? Because Roman told her to that's why. Roman loves you so much that he wanted you to have the woman that he chose for you. Without Roman and Sasha, Seth you're nothing. They make you relevant, they make you important, just like I did when we were rolling together in the Authority. Roman knew that there wasn't a single woman in that locker room that could stand to be with you, so he broke the Boss in and then he handed her to you on a silver freakin platter because you were too much of a loser to break her in yourself. You had all those years to bang Sasha Banks when she got called up from NXT and you didn't, why? Because you're not half a man Seth, you're not a man at all. You're still a little boy that needs his daddy to pick you up from school. You think I want someone as lame as you giving my firstborn son marital advice?!"
Hunter continued to go on a rant while Seth listened patiently and Bianca wondered where all this venom was coming from. The Game was picking apart Seth's love life like he had some kind of issue with the women Seth chose to date. It was clear to Bianca that the Game was jealous and she wondered how long he had felt this way since he was talking about stuff that happened months ago. The Game had a lot of built up resentment that he was unloading on poor Seth today of all days, the day that Seth needed support, not criticism.
"Of all people you tell my son to date Charlene MacKenzie, a woman who has no business anywhere near Hayworth and now he's going to marry her. Seth, I've tried to help you but you are beyond help and you refuse to listen to me. So let me tell you something so its crystal clear; do not make my family business your business. You do your job and then you go home to that ratchet wife of yours and you leave the big decisions to the big boys, who can hold their pants up and wipe their own a*. You step out of line one more time and both you and your so-called wife can kiss your contracts goodbye next year," Hunter said and Seth's face hardened with indignation. He always knew Hunter was jealous of him and now he finally could say that Dean Ambrose was right, which was not an easy thing for Seth to accept. Dean Ambrose was nuts but he was right about the Game.
He didn't even see Sasha step up to the front of the house and she heard everything Hunter said. She turned to face the Game looking as angry as Seth did right now, "I am sick and tired of you threatening my me and my husband, you don't have to worry about my contract Hunter. You talk to my husband like that again and you're the one who's going to have to look for a new job," she warned Hunter but the Game was not fazed by her blue-haired rage.
"It's all true Sasha, you married Seth out of desperation to stay relevant. Your career was going nowhere, sleeping with Roman was the first step, now you're having his baby, then you'll leave Seth, Roman will leave his wife and you'll both end up living happy ever after and Seth will be left holding his balls realising that I was right. You look me in the eyes Boss and you tell me that you love Seth Rollins, come on tell me you love him, I wanna hear you lie through you pretty white teeth," Hunter said and Sasha slapped Hunter around the face.
"What has gotten into you Hunter? Stephanie really does bring out the Degenerate in you. I can always tell when she's in your head, you start saying crazy s* like only a McMahon would say. I don't need to sleep my way to the top, I'm already at the top. I'm the BOSS! All you care about is your precious TV show, well I'm not on TV right now so I can go home, put my feet up and have this Shield baby hassle free. But my husband deserves that Wrestlemania main event and you better give it to him, or I'm going to go off on Charlotte Flair and make sure that she doesn't make it back on TV," Sasha said and Alexa Bliss ran over to Sasha and escorted her into the house before turning to Hunter.
"You put one more finger on Charlotte Flair and you're done," Hunter warned Sasha.
"Okay I gotta do something now, Seth, Sasha let's go," Bianca said and she escorted Seth and Sasha back into the house while Alexa gave Hunter an apologetic look.
"She's pregnant, she doesn't even know what she's saying right now," she said to an enraged Hunter before stepping away from him, lest his face burn her with its fiery expression.
"What's going on out here? Why aren't you inside celebrating with Galina and Roman?" Alexa asked Seth and Bianca.
"Galina and Roman are celebrating on the kitchen floor right now," Seth explained and Bianca grimaced.
"Nasty a* Roman Reigns," she said disparagingly and Alexa Bliss' face lit up.
"I love kitchen sex! It's where all the food is!" she said. "As a matter of fact I can't remember the last time I had sex, it has been so long!"
Seth and Bianca laughed, they had both made love recently and they couldn't emphasize with the not so Blissful One when it came to being single.
Moments later Hunter decided to join them and continue his rant much to Bianca Belair's horror.
"Seriously? We just left you the conversation is over," she said to Hunter but the Game ignored her and looked directly at Seth and Sasha who had seen enough of him for one day.
"If Seth had any sense he'd be single too. Marriage just isn't your cup of tea Architect but don't let all my experience get in the way of your fantasy life, you'll see I'm right. Sasha is just using you to make herself feel better for not getting Roman to leave his wife for her."
"Actually I think it's clear from the sounds coming from the Ortons' kitchen that Roman is pretty happily married," Alexa Bliss said and Seth and Sasha giggled letting Hunter rant himself into a black hole of stupid veteran talk.
"If you talked to me before you married her, I could have saved you a world of hurt. Sasha Banks does not love you and I hope you realise that before you decide to have a baby with her. See this whole thing with Roman and Sasha as a sign Seth and get out of this thing before she destroys your career. The woman you were supposed to marry is the woman that is now marrying my son and I don't want my son getting your castoffs. I'll decide who my son marries, not you. You and Mac are perfect for each other; you're both hot, you're both sexy and you're both impossible to talk to without getting jealous. When was the last time Sasha got jealous over you? I bet she's never been jealous of you, that's why she doesn't care if you sleep with her best friend Bayley."
"Great now he's bringing Bayley into this?!" Bianca said to Alexa who gagged her mouth with her Braid. The Game was not done talking and they had to take it out of respect for who he was. Seth and Sasha had no idea who the Game was right now, all they could hear was the incomprehensible rantings of a very angry man.
"She doesn't love you Seth, trust me. I know when a woman is running game and Sasha Banks is running the biggest game of her life with you right now. Get out while you still can kid and quit talking to my son, I don't want him to make the same mistakes you have. You can talk to Hayworth when you've come to your senses and dumped that blue haired witch," Hunter said and he went back outside to stare at the Manhattan skyline, leaving Alexa and Bianca with their mouths open and Seth in silent fury.
Bianca came over to Seth to make sure he was okay, "Hunter really laid into you. What are you going to do?" she asked Seth who rubbed his face thoughtfully.
"I'm going to prove him wrong," Seth replied. "Sasha and I are going to be happily married, just like HayMac and that's something that Hunter knows nothing about. That nonsensical rant wasn't about Sasha and I, it was about Hunter and Stephanie. He's still pissed at the way she's treating him and he's taking it out on me and the Boss because in-spite of everything, we're still crazy in love,"
Bianca and Alexa swelled with joy at Seth's loving words and the Boss squeezed his waist in response to his unending devotion to her. It was humbling to say the least and the Boss was not a humble person.
"You think he might be threatened by you? It sounded like he was putting you down for all that you've done this year. He was trying to make you feel bad about yourself, even if what he was saying about Sasha was True, it doesn't change who you are. If Sasha was using you to stay relevant, she made the right choice. You're the best wrestler in the business, who wouldn't want to be married to you? Besides me of course, like Roman I am very happily married," Bianca said and Seth hugged her. "If she is using you, at least you get to have sex with her until the Truth comes out. That's how I see it, I sure hope that's not True though. After everything that you've been through with Sasha and Roman, it would suck if she didn't love you after all this drama,"
Alexa squeezed Seth's hand concerned as Renee came over to them, "I could hear you guys from the car, what on Earth were you all arguing about?" she said.
"Hunter's mad at Seth for being awesome, he's intimidated by Seth so he made up this whole story about Seth being played by Sasha Banks," Bianca said.
"He also said that Seth should be marrying Charlene MacKenzie instead of Hayworth. The Game was on a roll today Nene, I've never seen him so spiteful. Seth's stock must really be on the rise, the Game's feathers were totally ruffled," Alexa said and Renee nodded thoughtfully.
"He must know something we don't, I'm sure it has something to do with Stephanie and NXT," Renee said and Seth nodded while remaining silent.
"I can't believe he went off on me like that. I need to get to find out what's eating him," Seth said and Bianca held Seth's hand supportively.
"I'll come with you but can we get Roman and Galina out of the kitchen? I need something to eat and Alexa needs to make some more of those muffins from the Christmas Party," Bianca said.
"Why are Roman and Galina in the kitchen?" Renee asked.
"They were having sex," Seth said and Renee screwed her nose up.
"Ew gross, food and sex do not go together," she said appalled.
"I disagree with that completely, I associate food with sex," Alexa Bliss said and Bianca and Seth looked at her unimpressed.
"When you finally do get married, you are going to change your attitude about the kitchen floor. It is the dirtiest place in the house," Seth said.
"No it's the best place in the house, there are crumbs on the floor and you can eat them in-between," Alexa said and Bianca and Seth looked at her horrified.
"That's why you and Roman were such good Christmas Party Co-Hosts; you're both nasty," E S T said and Roman and Galina came out of the kitchen looking very proud of themselves.
"We got great news!" Roman said with his arms wide open and Galina was straightening her skirt and fixing her hair.
"I need a shower," Bianca Belair said trembling with revulsion.
"I'll be in the Ortons' pool," Seth said and the Prayer Warrior and his Treasurer left feeling unclean all of a sudden.
"Seth, where are you going?! Come back I've got so much to tell you!" Roman said joyfully as Galina re-applied her lipstick.
"Come with me Renee, I'll show you the best muffins in the world!" Alexa Bliss said while Roman and Galina went after Seth and Bianca leaving Dean Ambrose to reunite with his wife while Alexa Bliss made her kiss and make up muffins for Hunter and Seth. Sasha had no intention of making up with Hunter and she called John Cena and the Rock and told them what went down and that she would not be coming back to DX Inc next year.
"I need you guys to help me get out of my contract. Seth can stay if he wants but I am done playing the Game," Sasha said. Now that she wasn't having Seth's baby there was nothing holding the Boss back and she continued to twist her wedding ring like a diamond pink toy that she was starting to like more and more every day that was married to Seth Rollins. The Game might have failed in his first marriage but she was not going to fail at hers. The Game could call her whatever he wanted as long as he called her by her husband's name, it was a name that she was very proud of and she wasn't about to let Hunter ruin it the way that Stephanie was trying to ruin his. After the rant Hunter gave her and Seth, Sasha was kinda hoping Steph succeeded in doing just that.
