Now that Seth knows the whole Truth about Sasha and Roman, the Shield have a very difficult decision to make. With the New Year just around the corner, DX do everything they can to stop things from getting out of control.
Chapter Twenty One – The Black and Blue Connection
Sasha, Roman and Dean found Seth, Bianca and Alexa on the hotel terrace sitting on the wall. Seth was in the middle of Bianca and Alexa, looking like an alternative music cover of Vogue. His black hair swayed in the crisp Brooklyn air while Alexa and Bianca's heads were protected from the cold by the hoods of their jackets. Alexa and Bianca leaned on Seth's shoulders to show their support, it was almost like the Shield and Sasha were intruding on their territory. Sasha had thought long and hard about what was best for their marriage and she knew Seth wasn't going to like what she had to say. After he told her how nasty he thought she and Roman were, telling him her decision was a lot easier now than it would have been if he hadn't said anything. She walked up to her husband in her white winter mac with Dean and Roman showing their support for the pregnant former Women's Champion.
"Seth?" Sasha said and Seth looked up at her, his eyes melted her heart, she was going to miss them. "I've decided that we should separate for awhile. I think it would be best if we don't see each other until after the baby is born. I can't live with you knowing that in a few months I'm going to have Roman's baby. Its not fair to you and its not good for me or the baby. I'm going back to LA with Roman and Dean, they're going to stay with me for awhile. I think you should stay here in New York, or at least on the East Coast. I don't want you anywhere near me or LA right now, I hope you understand how I feel,"
Bianca slapped her head and Alexa laughed at Sasha, "Pregnant women say the stupidest things," Bianca said.
"Yeah right? Ignore her Seth, she's just mad because you won't be sleeping with her for awhile," Alexa said. "You're not going anywhere without your husband Boss, you can't walk out on Seth because you're carrying another dude's baby. You're still in love with him, what are you gonna do? Have Roman and Dean take over like a pair of Shield midwives? You're overreacting because of all the pregnancy sex you won't be having anymore,"
"That's not it," Sasha replied, even though it was kind of it. She wasn't happy that Seth had decided to withhold sex from her until after the baby was born. He'd gotten pretty good at it over the past few months. "I just don't want Seth around me right now, its too painful,"
"Not as painful as that baby is going to be coming down that birth canal," Alexa said and she hi-fived Bianca and Seth shook his head at his Treasurer and former Maid of Armour.
"Guys stop it, if Sasha wants me to disappear for awhile I don't have a problem with that. As long as Dean and Roman are there I know she'll be alright," Seth said and Sasha couldn't believe it.
"So you're quitting on me," she said surprised at Seth's willingness not to go with her to LA. "You'd rather stay here in New York than come back home with me to LA, what's your problem Rollins?"
"That's not what I said, that house is not even our home. Our home is wherever God says we're going to live," Seth replied. "You're the one who wants to separate Sasha, I'm the only one that seems to want to work things out together,"
"I'm just doing what I thought would be best for you. I'm trying to make this less painful for you," Sasha said.
"No you're not, you're trying to make this less painful for you," Seth replied calmly and his wife sighed with frustration.
"Yeah okay I am Seth. I'm torn up over this and there's nothing I can do about it. Its one thing for me to go through Hell over this but for you to go through it, when all you've done is love me and be super husband to me, I can't do that to you. You're right you deserve better, just like you said, you deserve so much better. You deserve the woman you thought I was, instead you're stuck with the nasty ratchet b* from Boston who got knocked up by your best friend right? That's how you see me now isn't it? Pretty lousy hand you got dealt there God boy, I'm just trying to make this right. I am the Boss after all and making things right is what I do. I'm not saying I want to break up I just think the next few months would be easier if you weren't around, that's all," Sasha said.
"That's all?" Bianca said. "Did you not tell this man that you would honour and cherish him for the rest of his life?! Through the good times and the bad times?! This is a bad time but there's also a baby coming as a result of the good time you had with nasty a* Roman Reigns! You should want Seth around so he can shower you with all his love. He wants this baby, he's not ashamed of you Sasha, so why are you acting like he should be?"
"Because I am Bianca, I am ashamed of this child, because its not his child! You don't get it, I've wanted this baby for months and when I look at my husband I just know how disappointed he's going to be when the baby finally gets here," Sasha said.
"No that's how you feel Sasha, I can't wait for the baby to come," Seth said sincerely with a warm smile which made Sasha feel even worse. It was becoming more and more obvious that Seth, unlike Sasha, meant every one of his marriage vows to her. His love for her was unconditional and it was burying her in guilt.
"What kind of woman would do what I did without feeling as bad as I do right now? Seth wanting this child doesn't make me feel better Bianca, it makes me feel worse. I couldn't hold up my end of the bargain and its killing me right now because you have done everything you said you would do when you made me your wife. I suck so hard right now and that's it," Sasha touched Seth's shoulder. "I'm going home, whatever happens with Hunter, I know God's got your back, just like you've had my back all this year," Sasha kissed him on the lips deeply, "I'll see you in a few months," she smiled at Alexa and Bianca, "I know you'll be in good hands. Take care of my husband ladies, or I'll have you buried alive right here in New York City,"
Roman and Dean looked at Seth, he looked so peaceful. It was obvious he didn't want to upset Sasha so he acted like he was okay being separated from her again for the second time in a year.
"Are you okay dude?" Roman asked Seth who shook his head at the Big Dog.
"I'll call you every day, just try not to sleep with my wife while I'm out of the house," Seth said and Roman blanched. Sasha turned to stone at her husband's comment and Dean Ambrose sighed rubbing his hand over his face.
"I knew this wouldn't end without you saying something stupid," Dean said to Seth and he looked at Bianca, "didn't God give you a muzzle when He anointed you to be Seth's Treasurer of Secrets?"
"I wish he did Ambrose," Bianca replied shaking her head at Seth, "Why do you keep saying stupid things?!"
"Let's not pretend its not going to happen, with me out of the house, Sasha's panties will be dropping like snowflakes in the winter. Why else would she want Roman around?" Seth said.
Roman was furious but Sasha just smiled away her husband's comment, "That's okay let him vent. This is why I don't want him around me, there's a lot of anger in that pretty head of yours Seth," Sasha said.
"Well it's a good thing I'm not the father of your baby or you might have a real problem getting rid of me so easily," Seth said and Sasha nodded.
"That's alright Seth, let's go boys. Let's leave my husband to work out his anger issues in the angriest city in the world," Sasha said and she kissed Seth again while Roman stared daggers at Seth for his incendiary comments.
"I can't believe you think I'd sleep with Sasha after all that we've been through this week. What kind of man do you think I am?" Roman said and Bianca gagged Seth's mouth before he could answer.
"Please just go, Seth has nothing more to say to you. We'll see you in the New Year," Bianca said and Seth suddenly teared up when he realised that he was going to spend New Year's Eve without Sasha.
He pulled Bianca's hand from around his mouth and she replaced her hand with her Braid determined to shut Seth up but he pulled the braid away and called out to his wife as she left with Roman and Dean.
"Don't leave me," he blurted out. "I don't care how much it hurts, I don't want to start the New Year without you. Please Sasha, stay with me. Together we can get through anything, I can't bear to be away from you. You're the love of my life, I'll never love any woman the way I love you. Stay with me Sasha, please don't go,"
Sasha's eyes bled with tears and she summoned all her strength to stand her ground, she was determined to do what was best for her husband and being with him was not it, at least not until after the baby was born.
"I'll always be your Boss and as your Boss, I'm demanding that you stay away from me for the next four months. Don't give Stephanie or Bayley any more ammunition by forcing your way back into my life. Use this time to do what you do best and that's serve God and pray for us. This is best for us all Seth, in time you'll realise that this was the right decision. I know it hurts but our New Year will end better if we don't start it off together. Please stay away from me until the baby is born," Sasha said and Seth doubled down.
"Get Shawl," Seth said and Alexa gave him his Prayer Shawl which he opened and it became airborne. Alexa's face lit up as he jumped on Shawl, grabbed Sasha and flew away leaving Bianca, Alexa and the Shield standing in awe as Seth and Sasha disappeared into the Manhattan sky like a black and blue comet.
"I did not see that coming," Dean Ambrose said and Roman scowled at Seth's impetuous act.
"I sure did," Alexa Bliss said beaming. "That was so romantic, it was just like Aladdin!"
"Pipe down Rapunzel," Bianca Belair said swinging her braid.
"I'm pretty sure your hair is longer than Rapunzel's," Alexa replied. "Don't you think that was romantic?"
"I think it was a sign of how far we're going to have to go to keep Seth and Sasha together. If Seth is willing to fight this hard to keep his marriage intact, the enemy is going to fight even harder to tear them apart. We don't even know what's going to happen when Stephanie shows Hunter that photo of Seth and Bayley at the Stamford Marriott," Bianca said.
"What do you think Roman? Do you think Seth did the right thing by flying away with Sasha?" Alexa asked the Big Dog.
Roman was so offended by Seth's accusation against him that he saw nothing but red when he saw them flying away together on Shawl, "I think he would do anything to keep me from my son," Roman replied and Bianca exchanged glances with Dean and Alexa.
"I don't think that's what Seth was trying to do Roman, I think he was just trying to keep his marriage from falling apart," Bianca said.
Dean looked at Roman cautiously, "Calm down Big Dog, you're starting to get that look in your eye just before you start breaking stuff," he said.
Roman shook his head enraged, "After all we've been through, he thinks I would cheat on my wife with Sasha again. He hasn't forgiven me for what I did, I don't know if I want a man like that, who says he's one thing but then he acts like another, around my son or the woman carrying him,"
Alexa touched Roman gently, "Dean's right you're getting mad Roman, don't forget Seth just found out Sasha's not having his baby, he has every right to be mad at you for getting her pregnant. She's his wife and he sees what you did as an act of betrayal,"
"Betrayal?!" Roman yelled and Alexa stood back; Roman was furious and it was not easy to stand near him when he was fuming like this. "None of this was supposed to happen Alexa, what do I have to do to get him to trust me again? If Sasha doesn't want to be with him right now, he should respect her wishes and give her the space she needs,"
"And you're happy to just fill that space? You don't see why Seth might have a problem with you hanging out with his wife in LA?" Bianca said soberly.
"Only if he thought I would do something stupid which I won't. I can be trusted Bianca, you're not the only one who's trustworthy around here. I slipped once, I'll never do it again," Roman said.
"Unless Sasha causes you to slip like she did last time. She's carrying your child for crying out loud Roman, there's a connection between you that will never be broken and that's what Seth is dealing with. He's not dealing with it very well but what's a husband supposed to do when he finds out his wife is pregnant for his best friend?" Bianca explained.
"I just don't think forcing Sasha to stay away from me is the answer. I need to prove that I can be there for her without betraying Seth's trust. I'm not that guy," Roman said. "I need Seth to know that I'm not that guy,"
Roman called his cousin Dwayne Johnson and told him to go home and call him when Seth and Sasha got there.
"I'm sorry Joe but Seth Rollins is no longer welcome in my house," Rocky replied looking at the photo that Stephanie McMahon sent him of Seth and Bayley at the Stamford Marriott.
"What are you talking about?" Roman asked the Rock.
"Stephanie sent me a photo of Seth assaulting Bayley in Stamford, Connecticut. Now I know why she's always emotional everytime she sees him, he assaulted her," Rocky said vengefully.
Roman looked at Dean, Bianca and Alexa, "We gotta get Seth back here now, Stephanie sent my cousin the photo of him and Bayley at the Stamford Marriott. He thinks Seth assaulted Bayley,"
"What?!" Alexa gasped and she pushed her mouth to Roman's phone, "The photo's fake Rocky!"
"What?" Rocky said hearing Alexa's voice.
"The photo's fake its not real, Seth never assaulted Bayley, Stephanie's trying to get him fired from DX Inc," Roman explained.
"Why the Hell would she do that?" Rocky asked and Roman took a deep breath before telling his cousin the Truth about Bayley's feelings for Seth.
"Because Bayley's in love with Seth and she wants him to be hers before the end of the year. Sorry cus, Bayley's not the girl she appears to be. She's got a serious problem when it comes to Seth," Roman said.
"Well now so do I," Rocky replied. "Don't worry I'll make sure they don't leave my house, I have some questions of my own for the Architect,"
Rocky hung up and Roman felt his rage against Seth turn back into love. He had to get to LA to make sure Seth was alright.
"My cousin sounds like he's got evil intentions towards Seth, we need to get to LA pronto," Roman said.
"But Seth took Shawl, we'll have to fly commercial," Alexa said.
"No I'll just ask Hunter if we can take the jet," Bianca said calling Hunter's cell phone. "I think its time we let the Game in on what's going on with Seth before Stephanie does,"
When Bianca told Hunter why she needed his private jet, he was more than happy to let her, Alexa and the Shield use it to go to LA. He was also invited along and he was glad to be a part of Seth's life again, even if it was only because Bianca wanted it that way. The Boss and Architect didn't really care about the Game anymore, what they didn't know is that he was the one who was going to get Seth out of the situation Stephanie and Bayley were about to put him in.
