Greetings to, whoever stumbled across this story. I hope you stick around for a bit.I'm not a native english speaker so there will be mistakes all over the place. Probably a lot of grammar. Since I can't even properly write in my own Language, there is no way that I could do that in any other language (Even tho I prefer english to any other language). If you could point out any mistakes that I made (nicely please) that would be great. Thank you In advance.

This story will be about my favorite characters on the days before Christmas. I have no concept and no storyline so this will be pretty random. Also, this is my first time publishing anything on here and I have no Idea how this works

The days leading up to Christmas were always a stressful time for everyone. But for Dr. Elizabeth Weir, it's hell, literally.

There are four groups of people in the city. First, we have the Christmas Elves. It might sound lovely but It's not. That group consists of most of the botanic- department and the medical staff. They have been trying to find a non-poisonous substitute for a Christmas trees and mistletoes since August. They are much to cheerful and Happy about anything related to the Christmas holidays and annoy pretty much everyone else with that .

Then we have the people that simply do not care about anything. Elizabeth named them "Santas reindeers". They what they are told and end of the story. Most of them are military. They simply Ignore everything around them involving anything christmas or winter related. They are the easiest groups to handle since non of them really complain.

We also have the people that are completly clueless about any of earths traditions and holidays. Of course the Cheerfulness of the Christmas Elves made them curious so they are mostly found in the presence of a Christmas Elve who is trying to explain the meaning of this special winter holiday.

Of course there is also the grinch group. Those people absolutely hate everything involving christmas for whatever reason they have. That group consists of all kids of people. Some Marines, Some Zoomies, Some Tech people and a bunch of scientists. Some of them are just sad that they can't spend this lovely holiday with they loved ones at home. The others just simply hate it. They do everything to hide from the Elves and are rarely ever seen in their free time.

An unlucky soul from the geology department tried to cheer up a grinch and it backfired badly. Said geologist enden up in Dr. Weirs office at 2:30 in the morning, Crying and with a black eye. Let's not go further into detail on that one. It might be obvious that the grinches are the worst of them.

Elizabeth doesn't think she belong to any of the groups. She sees herself as the true neutral in this and apparently, so does everyone else.

People are coming to complain because of ever little argument they have had. Most of the are between the different groups and Elizabeth was sick an stored of hearing the same stories over and over again.

A few minutes ago she had to reinforce the rule " no threatening Civilians" rule because some Marine decided to hang of a Christmas Elve of a balcony holding them by their feet.

Right now she was sitting in her office staring at the wall to her right and only halfway listening to Rodney and Kavanagh's bitchfight.

„I have already told you multiple times that if one of you freaks were to set foot into MY lab with those ugly lightbulbs, I will kill them or leave Sheppard or Lorne to do so!"

Kavanagh is having non of that and tries his, oh so charming ways to get it his way.

„Dr. Weir allowed us to decorate the everywhere. And that includes your Lab!"

Rodney opens his mouth to disagree but Elizabeth shuts them both up with one look.

„Can this be solved without yelling and threatening please? We are civilised people and we can talk like adults, understood? Great! Let's find a compromise then. Rodney, what exactly is your problem with the lights?"

„Well, they are annoying and not very beneficial to the important work I have to do!"

„Kavanagh, respect his wish and stay away with those lights. And now leave. The both of you!"

Elizabeth rests her head in her hands after the men left her office. Yup, this is hell.
