CHAPTER 1
Hi my name is Rose Hathaway and this is my backstory... back in September of my grade 10 year, I got pregnant with my baby girl Belle. After I found out and got a doctor to confirm that I was indeed pregnant I told my parents who were less than impressed with this and kicked me out. Later that day I decided to tell my boyfriend and the father of my baby Adrian Ivashkov. Adrian is also the school's resident playboy. To make a long story short he couldn't have cared less when I told him.
About 2 days later I packed my stuff from my parents house and moved in with my best friend, Lissa Dragomir, and her family. Everything was going fine for about 6 months until Adrian came up to me one day telling me he made a mistake leaving me and the baby and wanted to be with me and the baby. He also told me part of the reason for his change in heart was because he had accidentally told his parents who are making him own up to his mistakes and forcing him to be a part of the baby's life.
It wasn't until about a month before the baby came that I really believed he wanted to be a father to her. He saw her about two weeks after I got an ultrasound done. He came up to me with tears in his eyes and said he really wanted to be in her life. So as you can imagine a teenage girl all by herself living with her best friend because she has nowhere else to be... of course I said yes he could be. Now I have a nice two bedroom house and I don't have to pay a mortgage or rent it's mine to do as I please, thanks to Adrian speaking up to his parents asking if they would get it for us.
I only have to work a part time job so I can buy food for myself and other things I need for Belle. While I'm at work Adrian's mother comes over and takes Belle for the afternoon and Adrian brings her home at night. Some nights he stays with us and other times he goes back to his parents house, but other than that he doesn't do anything with her. I'm the one that takes care of her. It was nice for a while, we had our routine and it got to a point where I thought Adrian still wanted to be with me. It wasn't until 3 months after Belle was born that I found out that he was out hooking up with other girls.
Anyway as you can imagine I, like any other woman, got irritated and really upset and after about an hour of me yelling at him and saying a few inappropriate things I decided the only time I would talk to him or see him was when he was visiting Belle. He still takes her for a few hours so I can work then Belle goes to Lissa's house or with Adrian's mother and that's where I pick her up from.
Despite everything that has happened between Adrian and I, his mother didn't take away the house, on the account of me being the mother of her grand-daughter, and Adrian and i are making everything work.
Also despite having a 2 month old baby, I'm still in school. The school made me a deal, since this is the first time in years that a student has gotten pregnant, that I could be late for classes, only if it was to do with Belle, and they would hire someone to watch my little girl during classes for me. You can probably tell how happy I was to hear that, but the downside is for any part of my classes I missed I had to make up with a tutor. They even offered to make one of the extra offices off the side of the main office area specially for me to be in when I feed Belle and for her to be in with her babysitter. It was also my luck that my tutor was Lissa.
Once school started back up we got into a new routine. Every morning I'd get Belle ready to go and myself. Once at school I took Belle to our room and fed her once more before my first class. Between every class I'd go back to our room and feed her again and spend some more time with her. At one point adrian would even come in with me and play with her so I could do some school work, until he got a new girlfriend and I said she wasn't allowed in the room with Belle after she called her a bastard and said to me that I was the whore Adrian was with before her. So now it's just me and Belle.
So that's how it's been since. Now I should get to the story, you're probably bored of hearing my life story literally.
I was getting ready for school when Belle started to cry. I walked to her room and picked her up. I started to rock her back and forth to calm her down, and started humming her favorite lullaby. Once she was back asleep I put her back down and finished getting ready. I was pretty quick to get ready Because most of my mornings were spent taking care of Belle and I barely had time to do anything other than get dressed and pack a diaper bag. By the time I was done it was time to leave to catch the bus to school. I waited at the bus stop and listened to music.
Once I saw the bus coming I put my music away and got on. I sat down in the middle of the bus in a seat all to myself with no one in front, behind, or beside me. This is pretty normal for me, nobody that took this bus with me liked me all that much because after Adrian's girlfriend Avery and I had an argument she started some pretty nasty rumors' about me. I didn't care obviously, everyone that was important to me knew they were lies.
Adrian must have finally noticed after he finished his make out session with Avery that Belle and I had gotten on the bus, because about two minutes later, Adrian came from the back of the bus and sat in front of me.
" What do you want Adrian? Avery not keeping you satisfied so you came here to get away?." I said with a sickly sweet voice.
" Rose when are you going to let me back in her life?."
"Um... I'm not keeping you out of her life. I'm letting you but you are choosing your so-called girlfriend over your daughter. If that is what you're choosing then maybe she would be better off not having you in her life. She deserves to know someone cares about her. Not someone who would rather go hook up with someone else."
" She will. I love her and you with all my heart..."
" Not enough then. You not only have had little to no contact with her, you also don't try to be around her anymore except in front of others to make it look like I'm the bad guy keeping you away from her. So you know what, when you grow up and start acting like a real father to her is when I will believe you actually care for her. But it's up to you Adrian if she knows your an actual father to her or not. So smarten up fast or someday she might not call you her father and just call you her donor. That's how low you're getting Adrian."
" That hurt Rose... That really did." He said softly then got up and walked back to the back of the bus.
I was so busy with my rant I hadn't even noticed that someone was sitting across from me. He was new, and he was hot. He had dark brown shoulder length hair that was pulled back, he was a little tanned and wore a black duster with blue jeans and black running shoes. He also looked to be really tall. As I was checking him out I watched as he put what looked to be an old western book down in his lap.
As I continued to look at him, he turned to look at me and I think my heart stopped then went twice as fast as it had before. He had the most gorgeous smile and the most gorgeous dark brown eyes. I was so mesmerized that I hadn't noticed he had said something to me.
"Sorry... what did you say?".
He gave a small laugh and smirked before he said " I was wondering if I could see her?" and he pointed to Belle. As he said that I heard an accent that sounded Russian.
" Oh... ya, sure."
I took Belle out of her car seat and moved over and moved it out of the way so he could sit beside me. He moved on to my seat and looked at her in my arm's. He started to smile as she opened her eyes and looked right at him. There was no crying or moving except her chest falling and rising from her breaths, she just stared at him and then looked at me then back at him. I looked over at the guy and saw he had an even bigger smile on his face than before. I looked back down at Belle and started to smile as well. She looked at both of us again and she smiled for the first time.
" She must really like you." I said laughing slightly.
" Why is that?". He asked looking at me.
" Because that was her first real smile".
" Well I'm honored little princess". He said looking back down at her and tickling under her chin.
" Do you want to hold her?".
" Could I?" He asked Cautiously.
I lifted Belle up and moved her towards him. He took her with no problem. He held her perfectly.
" I take it you have experience with holding babies?".
" My oldest sister has two kids of her own, and my second oldest is having one soon. So ya I'd say I have experience." He said laughing at the end.
" She's so beautiful, she definitely takes after her mother." he said, stroking her hair softly.
" I'm sorry, I don't know where that came from." He added a moment later, blushing while looking at me.
" It's okay. I've never gotten a compliment like that before, it was nice." I said smiling.
" Really, not even from her father?". He said looking surprised.
" Nope, not even from him". I said smiling half-heartedly.
"Well then take it from me. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen". He said looking me straight in the eye.
I blushed and looked down, biting my lip and moving my hair behind my ear. " Thank you... ugh... what is your name exactly?"
" Pardon my rudeness. My name is Dimitri Belikov. My family and I just moved here from Russia last week. Normally I wouldn't be so open or so...outgoing, but babies are a completely different thing."
" Well, I'm honored that you like my daughter. And my name is Rose Hathaway and this is Belle Hathaway."
"Two beautiful names for two beautiful girls".
" Why thank you, Dimitri".
" You're welcome, Roza".
" Roza... is that my name in Russian?".
" Yes it is... do you not like it?".
" No it's pretty, I've just never heard it before is all." I said laughing slightly at his worried look.
I looked at him and smiled. Dimitri looked back at me and our eyes locked. It felt like everything around us disappeared and it was just me and him. After a minute I looked back down at Belle smiling at her.
"So… are you new? To the school I mean, I don't think I've seen you around before." I asked after a few minutes of watching Belle.
"Yes actually. I just moved here last week from Russia with my family."
"Why'd you guys pick here to move. We're not a big city or anything and don't have very much to offer anyone really."
"That is exactly why we picked here. We came from a small village back home, and moving here we wanted the same kind of place so we didn't stand out in a big city."
"That makes sense, I guess. So since you just moved here you don't have any friends really do you?"
"No I don't sadly."
"Do you maybe want to hangout with me and my friends? I mean I don't really get to see them that much because of Belle, but I'm sure they'd accept you into their group like at lunch and stuff…"
"Sure, I've got no one else sending out offers." He said laughing.
I laughed along with him. After a few more minutes of talking and getting to know each other I put Belle Back in her car seat. About two minutes after the bus stopped and the bus driver yelled " Everyone off and get to class".
Dimitri and I kept talking as I started to head towards the office area to bring Belle to her Room and feed her.
"Have you gotten your schedule yet?" I asked him.
"No not yet, that's where I'm heading to now."
"Ok, well after you get all sorted out you're welcomed to come into Belle's room with me and wait and I can show you around." I said with a smile.
"Belle's room?"
"Oh ya you don't know, right. When the school found out about me having Belle because it's been a long time since it's happened where a student has gotten pregnant and me being the only one then turned one of the spare offices into a special room for her to be in during my classes and hired someone to take care of her while im in classes. So normally if you can't find me between classes and during lunch that's where I am."
"That was really nice of the school to do for you."
"Ya it was and all the staff love Belle. They constantly tell me she's the sunshine to their day." I said laughing as we walked into the office.
"That is because she is Rose." I said a voice from across the office.
"Most of our children have grown up, and you teenagers don't make our lives easier, so seeing her brings light to our days. She's always so happy and is adorable, we can't help but be happier when we see her everyday." said Alberta as we walked up to her desk.
"I know you tell me everyday." I said laughing at her. "Anyway, this is Dimitri. Dimitri this is Alberta Petrov. She's the secretary as well as the P.E. teacher here."
"Nice to meet you. I take it you're the new student?" She asked politely.
"Yes that would be me." Dimitri said with a slight chuckle.
"I'm gonna go to Belle's room Alberta, Dimitri is allowed to come in after you get him all sorted out, I'm gonna show him around."
"Alright Rose. Also Rose I've told you since you were in grade 9 please call me Miss. Petrov at school." she said slightly annoyed.
"I know but you're my aunt it's weird enough not calling you Aunt Alberta all the time let alone Miss. Petrov." I said laughing as I walked away.
I walked into Belle's room and got situated to feed her making sure to cover up so Dimitri couldn't see anything when he walked in.
After about ten minutes Dimitri walked in and sat down in a chair across from me. We were silent for a while and I think it was because I was feeding Belle and Dimitri might have felt a little weird.
"So what does your schedule look like?" I asked.
"Here take a look" He said as he handed it to me.
"Oh cool we have most of our classes together, and the ones we don't have together you have with one of my two friends Mason and Eddie." I said handing it back to him. "So first we will find your locker, get you set up there and then try and find my friends to introduce you and then we should have enough time to get to class."
"Sounds good to me." He said smiling.
After about another fifteen minutes Belle's babysitter came in and said she could take Belle from there. Dimitri and I left to find his locker then headed to the cafe where I figured my friends were hanging out. As we were walking up to them Christian, Lissa's Boyfriend noticed us. He first smiled at me then gave me a confused look as he noticed Dimitri beside me.
"Hey Rosie, who's the wall beside you?" He asked jokingly.
"Guys, this is Dimitri, Dimitri this is Lissa and her boyfriend Christian, along with Eddie and his Girlfriend Mia, and this is the loner Mason." I said as I pointed around the table as everyone said hi or hey as i introduced them.
After that we sat around and talked till it was almost time for class. Dimitri and I grabbed our stuff for class and headed on our way.
The rest of that day was mostly my normal day Dimitri followed me around between classes and at lunch. After school we got on the bus and headed home. After about a week this pretty much became normal. In the morning Adrian would come up to me on the bus before Dimitri got on and try and make me look like I was keeping Belle from him, Dimitri would either stick with me or with my friends all day, and after school depending on if i had to work or not Dimitri would come over and do homework with me. I gotta admit it was really nice having that routine. There was something about having Dimitri around that made me have this warm feeling inside. I wasn't quite sure what it was yet, but for now I was happy just having him around, and Belle really seemed to like him.
That was about three months ago now. Belle is now 6 months old and It's now the week before Christmas break. Dimitri and I have become better friends now and still had our routine. Adrian wasn't too happy about it. He kept trying to not only become part of Belle's life, but once again he came by for a few minutes then left and we wouldn't see him till the next at the same time, but he also tried to get me to stop hanging out with Dimitri. And that's how it's been for a month.
During the past few months Dimitri got a car and his license, so now every day Dimitri would drive down the street to my house all ready to go to school. When I opened the door he would come in and give me a hug and tell me good morning. It was like Belle new when Dimitri got to our house, cause right after Dimitri gave me a hug in the morning Belle would wake up and start to cry until Dimitri picked her up. I thought it was a little annoying because she never wanted me anymore unless she was hungry. I would joke around with Dimitri about it, it was so cute when I did. Dimitri would get all worried and say something about me being her mother, then he would mumble something under his breath and look down at Belle, I think they were planning something without me with how much he talked to her.
One morning was different though. Dimitri was acting weird compared to what he normally acts like. He seemed really upset and like he couldn't stand to look at me. I know Dimitri had broken up with his girlfriend about a month ago because she was cheating on him, which I don't understand why anyone would want to cheat on him. I mean on the days dimitri didn't come to my house after school Dimitri went to the gym and trained a bunch of minors self defence, which has taken its toll on how Dimitri looks. I'm a girl, what do you expect?
Anyway, his Girlfriend from Russia moved to our town and started at our school about a month after Dimitri and I met and then cheated on him with some guy, Dimitri wouldn't tell me who. But when he broke up with her he seemed happy to get away from her.
So today I was really put off with the way he was acting. He didn't even give me a hug or go and get Belle. He just walked in and sat on the couch. Dimitri looked at Belle and I once we were ready to leave and his expression changed from one of sadness to one of hurt. Dimitri stood up still looking at me. He walked over and took Belle out of my arms and placed her into her playpen in the living room. He then signed and walked back over to me with a scared expression on his face. I tried to look into his eyes and see what he was feeling or figure out what he was thinking about.
"Dimitri...What's wrong?". I asked a little worried now.
"Roza... I don't know what to do right now..." He said as he put his hands on my shoulders.
" You're not going to do what Adrian said and stop seeing me and Belle are you?". I said frantic.
" No! No! The exact opposite. I want to stay with you forever. You and Belle".
"Good. I don't know what Belle would do without her daily dose of you, and the last thing I want to see is Adrian's smug face". I said laughing a little trying to lighten the mood.
"I don't know what I'd do without seeing her everyday either, or you".
"Awe Dimitri. You know you're more of a father to her then Adrain is in a million years right?".
"I know, and I love every minute of being with you guys."
I smiled and gave Dimitri a hug. The hug lasted for a few minutes. I felt so content and safe wrapped in his arms. It amazed me how in such little time Dimitri had in a lot of ways become exactly what Belle and I both needed. He was absolutely amazing with her. When he first came over after school all he did was play with Belle while I did homework and made supper for us. When it got close to her bed time and i had mentioned it to him, he offered to put her to bed for me and went to her room with her. After a few minutes I went in to check on them and he was sitting in her rocking chair holding her humming a lullaby to her that I didn't recognize. After that day she wouldn't sleep without it and I had to call Dimitri over to come sing to her.
Another night I got called into work and Couldn't find anyone to babysit so Dimitri said he'd take her to his place for the night. I ended up getting done early and told Dimitri and he came and picked me up with her and took us home and ended up spending the night to take care of her for the night for me. I couldn't help but think how lucky I was to have met Dimitri, and that he didn't believe all the rumours spreading around school about me.
I got startled out of my memories by Dimitri pushing me away and making a angry but frustrated noise.
"God I'm just going to say it". He said looking up at the ceiling then back at me."Roza Hathaway I have only known for a short time but... I think I am in love with you, and I know I love Belle more than anything else in the world. I never want to leave you and her ever and when I do leave all I can think about is how much I miss you and wish that I was with you. I don't know what I would do without you and Belle. I don't know if you feel the same way as me but I would give my life to protect you and Belle. And I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging when I say this but, I've been more of a father to Belle more than any person in this world could be. I love you, Both of you. You Roza Hathaway and, if you're fine with me saying this, our daughter Belle Hathaway. I know this is a lot but I hope one day at the very least you will feel the same as me. I… I… I love you Roza, and nothing and nobody can or will change that". He said in what sounded like one breath.
I was shocked. I didn't know what to say. Did I… did I love him? I knew Belle did.
"Roza? Roza please say something please. I just poured my heart out to you, you can't just say nothing. I... need... some..."
" Dimitri, I don't know what to say...".
" Say you love me to, or at least care about me in some way".
"Dimitri I do care about you, you're one of my best friends, but I can't say I love you. I know Belle loves you though. But I mean... we've only known each other for four months. You can't know you love someone within that time span...".
"You can Roza, because... I love you. You may not want to believe that but I do. I want to wake up every morning to see you beside me. To be able to call mine, and to say that Belle is my daughter. And for it to not be weird when I say I love both of you with everything in my being. To be able to bring you anything and everything you and Belle need or want..." Dimitri now looked like he was going to cry if I didn't say that I loved him or cared about him. " Roza you and Belle are all I ever think about. Please at least give me a chance".
"Dimitri let me have some time to think about this, please. It's not as easy as you make it sound. There is so much to consider...".
"Like what Roza?"
"Like what if it doesn't work out with us? What then? Are you just gonna leave?"
" Roza… I would never do that. I had the chance to right now, I would sign papers to adopt Belle. Regardless if there was anything between us other than friendship."
" I just don't know Dimitri. If it doesn't work out it could negatively affect her. She's only 6 months old Dimitri, that sort of stuff will stay with her forever, I can't let that happen."
"We won't let it. We will keep whatever happens between us separate from her for right now till we are in a more stable spot. I don't want anything bad to happen to her as much as you don't Roza. I really do love her as if she were mine biologically."
Just then, Belle started to cry. Dimitri and I snapped out of whatever state we were in and went over to Belle. I picked her up. I looked over at Dimitri as he moved behind me and Belle, and looked over my shoulder down towards Belle, who had stopped crying now and started to laugh and smile at us. I looked at Dimitri and smiled at him. He moved away from me and pecked me on my cheek which got a fit of laughter from Belle. I looked down at her and smiled. Dimitri left and got the car seat out of the kitchen. I carried her over to where Dimitri was by the door. I put her into her car seat and stood back up. Dimitri came over to me and smiled at me. I looked back at him and faced him completely.
"Looks like I can't get rid of you if I wanted to". I said jokingly.
"Why's that?".
"Belle likes you too much, and I don't think you would leave even if I told you to". I said laughing a little.
"You are absolutely correct."
I looked from Dimitri to Belle then back to Dimitri. Dimitri moved a little closer to me which I didn't think much of. That was until Dimitri moved with lightning speed and wrapped his arms around me and brought his lips to mine and kissed me.
At first I was shocked, then as his lips moved against mine, I reacted. I started to close my eyes and move my lips with his. His lips were so soft and loving. I thought I could kiss them all day long. This kiss was better than anything I could imagine. He was so gentle and yet firm at the same time. I felt like I was in paradise. I knew for a fact that I wasn't sure how I felt about Dimitri, but I knew one thing. Right here, Right now I never wanted this moment to end.
At some point I came back to my senses and pulled away out of his arms. I touched my lips with the tips of my fingers, they felt like they were on fire still even though his lips were gone.
"Why did you just do that?". I asked.
"It was to help you decide if you love me or not".
" How does kissing me help?".
"Is your heart pounding in your chest? Does your head feel like it's going a million miles a minute?".
"Yes… but that doesn't mean anything. You just kissed me out of nowhere. That would be happening with anyone.".
"Yes but it's the same for me Roza. Only for me it's because I love you."
"I don't know. Dimitri I never said that I wasn't attracted to you. I just don't know if it's love, that's all".
"Fine I will find any and every way to show you I love you and show yourself that you love me back". Dimitri said holding my hands and looking into my eyes.
"We better get going. We don't want to be late getting to school". I said looking down.
Dimitri nodded and let go of my hands. I reached down and grabbed the handle of the car seat. I walked over to the car and Dimitri opened the back door for me to put Belle in.I got out and went to the passenger side door, which Dimitri had opened for me to get in.
It was about a thirty minute drive to the school that was filled with silence except for Belle's little mumbles as she talked to herself. Once at the school Dimitri walked over to my side and stood beside me as I grabbed Belle from the back. We started to walk to the school building so we had enough time before class to do our normal routine. As we walked we stayed silent until Dimitri started to chuckle.
" I don't think Belle's so called father likes me being around you". Dimitri said looking behind me.
I looked back and saw Adrian giving Dimitri a 'I'll kill you if you try anything' look. I started to laugh. I looked back at Dimitri to see what he was doing. He was writing something on a piece of paper. Him being so tall I couldn't see what, but when he looked at me it was a 'cheek this out' grin he had on.
" Want to see Mr. Father of the year over there get really mad?". I nodded my head." Watch this."
Dimitri turned the page over and I read it quickly. As I read it I thought I would have died laughing, It said... 'Back off dude she's mine'. I held back my laugh as best I could, and turned completely around and gave Adrian a 'Read it and weep' grin. That got him really mad. Adrian let go of Tasha, whom he started to date her the day after Dimitri broke up with her, and walked right over to us. I would have busted out laughing at the expression on Tasha's face if it wasn't for the fact that Adrian was on his way over.
"What the heck do you think you're doing with my girl! And what do you think you're doing trying to take her away from me!" Adrian yelled at Dimitri.
"Last I checked she wasn't your girl. And if she should choose someone that treats her properly and acts like a father to her child, then that's her choice not yours".
" That doesn't matter, the fact you are trying to steal her and my baby from me does..." He said looking at me and Belle then back to Dimitri." What makes you think you can waltz into my turf and steal my girl".
"Again, last I checked she wasn't your girl, first of all . Second, what makes you think that you can ignore your child then sleep with my girlfriend at the time, and then be all possessive over Rose even though she clearly shows you that she doesn't want to be with you. In fact I think she would rather move to Russia then be with you. So you know what if she chooses me over you then so be it, it's her choice. Or if I recall correctly, Tasha even choose me over you, so there's some things I can think of." Dimitri said with a smirk on his face like he had just won this stupid argument over me.
"One, you really suck in bed and need lessons. Two, you're just too stupid to realise the first one. Three you just think with and act too much like your dick to even get a proper girl like Rose, who gave you, by the way, one of the world's most preciouses gifts!" Dimitri looked over at me with pleading eyes as if he was a little boy that wanted something to be his that another kid had. " So if anything you should be grateful that she gave you that gift and you should be treasuring that little girl with your life!". Dimitri yelled at Adrian.
While Dimitri was ranting Adrian's hands began shaking. Once Dimitri was finished Adrian pulled his arm back and punched Dimitri in the gut then again in the face. Dimitri, not being overly fazed by it, punched Adrian square in the nose. Adrian's face was now covered in blood that was running down his face. Adrian frantically grabbed his nose trying to stop the bleeding as he bent over. Dimitri walked up to Adrian with the deadliest stare and picked him up by his collar and shoved him against the school wall.
"If you ever come near me, Belle, or Roza again, Tasha will be picking out a spot in the graveyard for you. Do you understand?". Adrian just nodded his head. " Good, now go".
Dimitri let go of Adrian and he hobbled over to Tasha. I looked at Dimitri and gasped. Dimitri had a purplish circle around his right eye. He moved his head towards the school while grabbing Belle's car seat from me. I nodded and followed him to the school. We walked until we got to Belle's room and he followed me in. Dimitri put the car seat down and sat down in one of the chairs. I walked over and grabbed Belle from the car seat and unwrapped Belle from her blankets and started to feed her. I looked over at Dimitri. He had his head in his hands resting on his knees. I put a nursing blanket over Belle and myself and sat down next to him.
"Dimitri... are you okay?"
" I'm fine Roza. Just you focus on feeding Belle."
I tried to just focus on Belle but my mind kept going back to what Dimitri had said to Adrian. "Three you just think with and act too much like your dick to even get a proper girl like Rose, who gave you, by the way, one of the world's most preciouses gifts!". Just the way he looked at me, like he wanted nothing more than for Belle to be his daughter and not Adrian's. It was then that I believed Dimitri wanted to be her father and he did love me and Belle as much as he had said he had at my house.
"I... believe... you. About you loving Belle. What you said to Adrian and the way you look at her and everything else, it convinced me...". I said as he looked up at me in awe. " I'm just not sure if... if I... love you, but I do care about you a lot".
" I'll take what I can get". He said as he moved closer to me smiling now.
I walked over to Belle's crib in the room and put her down. I just stood there looking at how beautiful she is until Dimitri came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I chuckled a little bit and put my hands over his. From behind, Dimitri moved my hair to the other side and started to kiss up my neck. I tried to not let it affect me in the way I'm sure Dimitri knew it did, and failed miserably. I moaned as he kissed my soft spot between my shoulder and my neck. It felt so good that my hands grew a mind of their own and moved to the back of his head and pulled him closer.
I couldn't remember the last time someone had kissed me like this, with so much love and passion. I certainly never felt that with Adrian. Truth be told I think the only reason he ever wanted to be with me was so that he could say he had been with me. I'm sure he did care about me in some way, but I think it was more of a brother and sister kind of love that we both thought was the other. Even if the way he had kissed me wasn't enough to show that much, the way he looked at me towards the end should have.
With Dimitri it's not like that. Dimitri doesn't look at me any other way other than like I'm the most precious thing in the world. Like if something were to happen to me he wouldn't stop till he got even for it. Same with when he looks at Belle. He looks at her like she's a gift from god and not some other guy's kid.
I was taken out of my thoughts by Dimitri's hands slowly moving to my hips. I was suddenly hyper aware of all things Dimitri. His hands slowly and softly moving along my body to my hips and sides. His lips pressed everywhere they could reach. So soft yet firm and filled with love and passion. The way his body was pressed up to my back. Telling me without words how much he actually wanted me, not just in an emotional way but in a pure animalistic physical way. It was like he was trying to make my body hyper aware of exactly what he wanted, and once he realised he got the reaction he wanted he wasted no time in making my body want more and more of it. Dimitri knew exactly how to get my body to only focus on him and his touch, and my body was more than happy to comply with his wants.
Once his hands were on my hips they slightly squeezed and pulled me closer to him. Making me very aware how much he was enjoying my body's responses to him. After a couple of seconds he started to move his hands to the opposite sides, one in front and the other behind me. After a couple more seconds he spun me around so I was facing him. A half a second later his lips were on mine.
His lips expressed the same emotions as they did at my house only now they were fiercer and more demanding. Like with every breath and kiss his need to get more and more of a response out of me would never be filled. As time passed he slowly began moving his kisses down to the other side of my neck. Keeping the passion and fierceness and need in them while still having the same gentleness that Dimitri always had.
" Roza...". Dimitri whispered in my ear out of breath but with so much want in his voice it sent a shiver down my spine.
Dimitri began pulling me closer to him again as he began to lightly suck on my neck. I was in utter bliss. My body reacting on it's own accord now. My brain is only thinking about one thing. Dimitri.
I could only think about his lips and body on mine. He somehow made the rest of the world disappear with a single touch, and I couldn't get enough. Slowly dimitri's lips started to follow down my collarbone towards my chest. Kissing every inch of skin he could along the way. Just as Dimitri was about to reach my chest he stopped and placed his forehead on my collarbone, breathing heavily.
" Roza...". Dimitri whispered again. This time it was filled with love and passion.
That was it. The way he rolled the 'R' just completely undid me. I put my hand under his chin and moved his face to mine and kissed him with as much passion and heat that I could. I moaned into his mouth loving the way my mouth felt like it was on fire when his lips touched mine again. I wanted more. If this was just because of us kissing I couldn't even begin to imagine what I would feel like to go farther with him. Dimitri started to kiss down my neck again and pulled my shirt down at the neck making the v neckline even deeper. Dimitri grabbed my hips and lifted me up so I could wrap my legs around his waist. As I did, I pulled as close to him as I could. I moaned loudly as I felt him completely against me, Which made Dimitri even more eager to keep going.
I was so caught up in thinking only about Dimitri, I didn't realize that he had moved us towards the couch. He put me down and let go of me. When he let go of me it felt like all that warmth and lust for him just left when he let go. But it wasn't long that he let go of me. Dimitri quickly walked over to the door and locked it then came back to me. Dimitri smiled at me. It wasn't his normal smile though, it was a bad boy smile, and normally I would make a joke about a guy trying to be cool with that smile but it looked so sexy on him that my panties got a bit wetter. Dimitri leaned down over me and got on the couch on top of me. The way he did it almost gave me a sense of prey and predator, he was on the hunt and just caught me, his prey.
I couldn't keep myself anymore. I pulled his lips to mine and pulled his shirt off of him. I raked my nails softly down his chest so not to leave any marks but so that he still got a shiver down his spine. That was it for Dimitri, he lost every ounce of control he had. His hands moved to the bottom of my shirt and pulled it off of me.
"Good god Roza, you are so beautiful." He said between kisses.
That's when I came back to reality. I pushed Dimitri away and tried covering myself up a bit. I was so embarrassed. How could I let myself lose control like that. Dimitri just looked at me. He went to reach out to me but Belle started to cry. He sighed and got up and grabbed Belle, She calmed down almost Instantly. I sighed and got dressed again and grabbed Dimitri's shirt and walked over to them. I took Belle and gave him his shirt.
"Roza….. I'm sorry, I was out of line…." He said looking defeated.
"But I won't say sorry for doing that. I really do love you, and I will do whatever it takes to prove that to you." He said coming closer to me.
"I promise though that nothing like that will happen again until you say so. When you fully and truly believe in my love for you."
"Dimitri, I still don't think it's a good idea. With everything that's going on with Adrian and school and everything else, Adding this just…."
"I'll help you. I'll take care of Belle for you while you're at work, and I'll help you with school and anything else you need help with."
"Dimitri…."
" I will prove to you that I love you Roza."
He walked up to me fast and kissed me hard on the lips. I melted into the kiss and kissed him back.
For the next month that's exactly what he did. He more than less moved into my house with me and did what he said. He even went beyond what he said. He made me feel like royalty. I had to admit by the end of the next month I had done what I thought I couldn't in a short amount of time. I was in love with Dimitri Belikov.
