Peter Colt - Vision to his close friends and family, is.. or rather was at one point in his life ranked number 11th in the world of Tennis, but that was many moons ago.
Now he was mainly a coach for rich kids and every so often he would enter competitions.
He loathed coaching rich kids, they were stuck up and rude.
When he could compete in competitions, he gave it his all, and in this day and age, with so many rising stars in the World of tennis, his all was never good enough as he found that he was now ranked 110th in the World.
To some that would seem a rather modest number, considering there were 8 billion people in the World, but to Vision it was as if he was ranked last, it was humiliating.
He had been watching the TV in his flat that he shared with his brother Tony when he noticed the interviewer and interviewee.
"That's that new guy? The one that's been taking the tennis world by storm?"
Tony asked, he wasnt very much into sport as he was more of a technological geek.
Vision nodded
"Yes that's Pietro Maximoff, Sokovian lad from what I've heard.. hes made it big this last year"
Vision frowned as he watched the interview on his very standard flat screen.
Interviewer: "So how has England been treating you? Did you come here alone?"
Pietro had laughed at the question and gestured to a petite dark haired woman behind him, simply stating
"My sister accompanied me here, and yeah England is a lot more welcoming than Sokovia"
The interviewer nodded.
Vision watched the screen as the sister appeared, she blushed brightly and tried to hide herself under some papers she had been holding, watching her made Vision smile without even realising, she was undeniably cute he mused.
Wanda had been her brothers PA for the best part of 2 years, ever since he was scouted on the court back in Sokovia, she never had a break, never really had time for herself as Pietro and his needs overruled.
Pietro was currently in the other room with a man that they had met earlier that evening, hitting it off instantly and dragging him back to the hotel room and ofcourse not paying much attention to his sister that shared the suite with him.
He wouldn't leave her have her own room as heaven forbid she left her brother, even though he was currently engaged in other activities.
The sound of thumping and mingled moans and groans was too much.
For once, Wanda wrapped herself up and left, she needed a bit of freedom and remembered that there was a pub not that far away, where she could forget her life and job for at the very least 5 minutes.
'The golden Ultron"
she read the name inside her mind, finding it to be quite a peculiar name for a pub she mused to herself before entering.
It was a rather standard british pub, dark oak was the style and colour throughout with red plush velvet stools at the bar and red fabric cubicles that consisted of the small seating area, she headed toward the bartender and sat on a stool as she spoke.
"Can I have a rum and coke please?"
The bartender she noticed, looked a little older than her, he had mahogany brown hair and brown eyes, his physique was muscled but she could also notice the smallest hint of fat around his abdomen as he was wearing a dark polo shirt that fitted a little too snug.
The bartender eyed her questionably before replying with a raised eyebrow
"ID?"
Wanda nodded and reached down to her small handbag, pulling out her red and green purse and handing her European Identification card.
The bartender glanced over the card and Wanda before nodding and handing it back as he went to create her drink.
Wanda smiled gratefully as he handed her rum and coke and she paid him the £3.50 sum.
She glanced over to the cubicles, debating on going to sit alone and mull over the thoughts of her life and how Pietro is now 100% of what her life consisted of.
She sighed as she made her way over to the cubicle on the far left, setting her drink and herself down, she pulled out her phone, switching the screen on so she could check for any notifications and smiled as she realised that Pietro hadn't messaged her whereabouts yet.
She loved her brother and was extremely grateful for the life that they were now living thanks to his talent and adoration of tennis.
But as much as she loved her twin, as grateful as she was of their life, he was still an arse. He was so overbearing and clingy, even now as he was with a complete stranger, completely oblivious to his sisters whereabouts - that was only because he assumed she would wait in their suite in the hotel until he was done.
She sighed again, she never imagined that she would be a PA to her brother for the rest of her life.
She noticed the bartender shout towards a man that had just entered and eyed the exchange.
"Brother! You finally wanna put up that racket and join me with my pub?" Tony smirked towards Vision as he entered the premises.
"No, thank you! I just came here for a drink, Mrs Wilson's son Sam was a knob at class and I need a steady bottle of Jack to keep me from being suicidal"
Vision replied as he headed for the stool infront of the bar, he glanced over to Wanda and back to Tony.
"You finally have a customer I see" He smirked towards his brother who held his hand over her heart in response.
"Okay now see that hurt" Tony replied as he set the small glass down and poured some whiskey inside, Vision laughed.
Although Tony was indeed a technological wizz, he still didnt have any job prospects so instead he took over their Uncle Clints pub.
Wanda felt her heart soften as she watched the siblings bicker and banter among themselves. She got up and headed to the bar, since Pietro had yet to realise where she was, she thought it best to take the opportunity and have another drink.
She sat a stool away from Vision and asked the bartender for the 'same again', she glanced to her left and smiled towards the blonde haired, blue eyed male before looking to his racket, a sad smile tugging her lips as she spoke.
"You play tennis?"
Vision was taken aback as he looked to the woman next to him, not by her question but from recognising her as Pietro Maximoffs twin sister who he had seen earlier that day from the small glimpse on the television.
He smiled as he registered her question and looked over to the racket that he had layed over the bar top.
"Yes I do, do you?"
He asked as he held a hand to gesture for her.
Wanda smiled sadly and shook her head profusely as she spoke.
"Oh god no, I mean I used to when I was younger but.. my brother is the star of the show when it comes to tennis.. and well anything athletic"
She giggled her reply and Vision could not help but blush from the sound of her giggle, it was absolutely adorable.
He held a hand out to shake hers as he spoke
"Now I'm sure your just not one to show off" he winked, causing Wanda's cheeks to flush pink as he continued
"I'm Peter, Peter Colt, but my family and friends refer to me as Vision"
He smiled as she looked a bit shocked by his name, he watched as she shook her head, readjusting herself as she replied.
"I'm Wanda.. Wanda Maxmimoff"
She blushed, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear.
Vision nodded and gestured over to his brother
"That's my older brother Tony"
Tony nodded over to her as she did the same.
"So your Pietro Maximoffs sister then, I take it?" Vision asked rather casually, he noticed the shine in her eyes falter from his question as she replied a simple.
"Yes"
Her phone buzzed and she groaned as she noticed the array of messages that were coming through.
'Sister where are you?'
'Wanda I need you back here now!'
'Oh my god, are you dead?'
'Wanda I'm worrying, I have enough on my plate without needing your attitude'
'Come home'
Vision couldn't help but notice the array of texts that were adorning her phone, he saw the sadness in her eyes, as though there were a leash suddenly strapped around her.
Wanda stood abruptly and spoke a simple
"I have to go, it was nice to meet you both, goodbye Peter, Tony"
and with that she was gone.
