Sometimes people don't remember Jon Arbuckle's birthday being late.
"Does anybody remember my birthday?" he called out, after looking at the calendar which was the fourth of December.
Garfield rolled his eyes, and said, "Maybe you waited too long, didn't you?"
Jon sighed, as he put his hands on his head, and started to sob. "Yeah, I guess it's too late for my birthday to come!"
"Here's a cupcake to cheer you up." said Garfield, as he gave Jon a cupcake to make him feel better.
Jon stopped crying, and examined the cupcake, and he was wanting to know if it has been decorated.
"Has this cupcake had decorations?" asked Jon to Garfield, who was placing his hands on his back, and whistling.
"Don't blame me. I had nothing to do with it." said Garfield, who thinks he was blamed for that cupcake.
"Well, it had sprinkles on the cupcake, and sprinkles are my favorite kind of decoration." said Jon.
"Don't let the sprinkles make you sneeze on the cupcake, Jon." said Garfield, with a smug look on his face.
"I won't let 'em, Garfield." said Jon, happily.
