Set after Colonel Banjara
A mob of people was present and they were beating a person badly. The person ' s head was profusely bleeding. The person was unconscious still the people were beating him ruthlessly.
At the same time , a quills stopped looking at the mob. A person stepped out of the car. He went near the mob and said " Kya ho raha hai ? Kyu maar rahe hai isse ? "
A person in mob : Dhokha kiya hai isne. Hum sabke saath.
Person : Dhokha.
He cleared the mob and went at the centre where mob was beating person. He at once looked at the face of person. He managed to say " Daya. "
A person was about to hit Daya but Abhijeet came in mid and stopped him.
Person in mob : Ye kya kar rahe hai aap ? Jaante hai ye kaun hai ? Ye dokhe baaz insan hai. Iski madat karne chale hai aap.
Abhijeet : Dekhiye aapko shayad galat fami ho gayi hai. Ye wo insan nahi hai.
Person in mob : Tu kaun hai be ? Lagta hai tu bhi iske saath mila hua hai.
Another person : Abe dekh kya rahe ho ?
Ye bhi uska saathi hai. pito isko.
Five to six people from the mob came in front to fight. The people attacked Abhijeet. Abhijeet was now full in his angry avatar. He beat those five to six people. The people now stood still as they just saw Abhijeet ' s fighting skills.
Abhijeet : Aap log jisse maar rahe hai wo inspector Daya hai aur agar kisi ne bhi unhe dokhe baaz kaha na to mujh se bura koi nahi hoga.

His concern shifted towards Daya who was unconsious and his head was bleeding. He took out his handerchief and put it on Daya ' s forehead to stop the blood flow.
He looked up and found the people staring at him.
Abhijeet : Kya dekh rahe hai aap log ?
Kuch kaam nahi hai aapko ?
Tamasha ho chuka hai. Ja sakte hai aap sab.
The mob got cleared. His attention shifted towards Daya whose body had many wounds. He carefully shifted him so that his wounds should not get hurt , spread his hand on head. He drove towards the hospital.
Finally he reached hospital and called out for stretcher. He carefully shifted Daya on stretcher with the help of wardboys. He grabbed Daya ' s one hand with his hand.
The doctor took Daya inside for treatment. Abhijeet was moving to and fro inside the hospital corridor. He didn ' t knew when he got attached with this young lad but didn ' t showed his feelings in front of everyone. He showed like Daya is just a mere collegue to him but somewhere in his heart a space was created by this young lad.
Abhijeet : ( thinking )
Kitni chotein aayi hai. Sar se kitna khoon beh raha tha. Pata nahi thik hoga bhi ya nahi.
Wo to accha hua ki us waqt mai waha se guzar raha tha aur mera dhyan gaya.

He shivered with the thought. A loud ringer of his mobile brought him back to present. He without looking at the caller id said " Hello inspector abhijeet here. "
The person on other side repsonded as " Abhijeet."
He recognized the voice of caller and got that it was of his mentor, Acp pradyuman. He became embarrassed.
Abhijeet : Sorry sir. Wo maine bina dekhe hi call utha li.
Acp pradyuman : It ' s ok Abhijeet. Ho jata hai kabhi kabhi. Kaha ho tum ?
Abhijeet : Hospital.
Acp pradyuman : Hospital ? Tum thik to ho na ?
Abhijeet : Sir mai thik hu. Aap jaldi city hospital aa jayiye. Wo Daya.
Acp pradyuman understood the situation and said " Tum ruko mai abhi pohoch raha hu. "
Abhijeet managed to say " Yes sir. "
A few minutes passed and he felt a familiar touch on his shoulder. He turned and saw Acp pradyuman standing there.
Abhijeet : Accha hua sir aap aa gaye. Daya ko dekhiye na.
He just flung in his arms. It was first time , when Acp pradyuman saw this type of behavior from Abhijeet.
Acp pradyuman : Shant ho jayo. Kuch nahi hoga Daya ko.
Abhijeet : ( innocently ) Pakka na sir ?
Acp pradyuman : Pakka.
Ye batao Daya tumhe mila kaha ?
Abhijeet told him all the things and finally concluded as " Wo to accha hua ki mai us raaste se ja raha tha. "

At the same time doctor came out.
Abhijeet : Doctor Daya thik to hai na ?
Doctor : Dekhiye mai aapko juthi tassali dena nahi chahta. Aap ko pata hi hai unke sar par kafi chot aayi hai isi wajah se sar me blood clots ban gaye.
Abhijeet : Blood clots. Wo thik to ho jayega na ?
Doctor : Dekhiye hume blood clots remove karne ke liye operation karna padega.
Abhijeet : To kab karna padega operation ?
Doctor : Filhal nahi. Unka mind kisi wajah se stress me hai. Sabse pahle unka stress dur karna hoga. Uske baad hi hum log operation karenge.
Acp pradyuman : Jee doctor. Usse hosh kab tab aayega ?
Doctor : Abhi to 2 - 3 ghante lagenge unhe hosh aane me aur ha brain damage hone se wo bol nahi payenge. Isliye unhe bohot care aur pyar se handle karna hoga.
Acp pradyuman : Jee hum dhyan rakhenge.
Doctor left from there. At the same time Acp pradyuman mobile got ringed and it was an emergency call. So he told Abhijeet that he had to leave and inform him about Daya ' s health updates.
Abhijeet just noded. Abhijeet seeked permission from doctor whether he can see Daya or not and after getting permission entered inside room.
He took a glance at Daya who was sleeping there. A few drops of tears came out from his eyes as he saw condition of Daya. He kept his soft hand on Daya ' s forehead where a big bandage was present.

He remained in the same position until he felt a grip forming on his hand. He removed the his hand from the grip and the other hand which was present on Daya ' s head was there as it is. He started ruffling Daya ' s hairs.
Daya felt sooth which he has experienced before. A person who was like his elder brother. He was enjoying the sooth and some moments flashed in front of his eyes. He wanted to open his eyes but the sooth didn ' t let him do.
At the same time , he felt the hand on his forehead was not there and sensed someone else ' s presence.
A caring voice hit his ears as " Doctor sahab aapne to kaha tha ki abhi hosh aa jayega ? "
He opened his eyes and heard as " Finally aapko hosh aa gaya. "
He vision was blurry with that blurry vision he saw silhouette of two persons first one was of the doctor but the second one who was looking at him with care, he didn ' t recognize it but he felt like a familiar person.
Abhijeet was about to move outside as the doctor was checking Daya. He felt weak grip on his hand. He saw Daya was trying to grab his hand. He looked towards doctor.
Doctor : Lagta hai aapke bhai ko bohot lagav hai aapse. Aap yahi rukiye.
After getting affirmation from doctor , he grabbed Daya ' s hand. After hearing the word ' bhai ' tears formed in a pair of eyes.
Doctor checked him and assured that everything will be fine. After Doctor was gone , Abhijeet saw Daya , he was trying to sit.
Abhijeet : Abhi lete raho tum.
Daya now look at the person in front. He saw the angry young man in front.
Daya : ( thinking )
Abhijeet sir wo bhi yaha pe ?
Kuch kaam hoga tabhi yaha par baithe hue hai.
Despite Abhijeet ' s protest he was trying to sit as how he could he be in sleeping position in front of his senior. Abhijeet at first sensed Daya ' s gaze on him. He immediately changed his expressions from caring to emotionless. He saw Daya ' s struggle to get up. He just noded in disappointment. He helped him to be in half lying position and attached pillows at his back.
Daya : ( thinking )
Ab puchta hu sir se ki kya kaam hai unhe. Pahle hi sir meri wajah se yaha par baithe hue hai aur unka kaam bhi ruka hua hoga. Meri wajah se kaam rukna nahi chahiye sir ka.
He tried to speak with broken language as " Ssiir kkuch kkaam hhai kkya ? "
Abhijeet : ( in a straight tone ) Doctor ne tumhe baat karne se mana kiya hai. Isliye jo kuch bhi bolna hai wo ishare se bolo.
Daya noded in yes.
Abhijeet : ( in angry tone ) Ye sar kyu hila rahe ho ? Pata hai na sar par chot lagi hai.
Behind that angry tone there was hidden concern of Abhijeet towards him. Daya ' s face fall down.
Daya : ( thinking )
Daant diya phir se. Wahi to mai soch raha tha ki ab tak daanta kaise nahi sir ne. Jisne bhi unka naam angry young man rakha hai sahi rakha hai. Gussa to matlab humesha naak par hi rehta hai.
Abhijeet saw the sad face of Daya.
Abhijeet : ( thinking )
Dekha kaise masoom sa chehra bana liya. Is chere ko dekh kar saara gussa chu mantar ho jata hai.
At the same time , a nurse entered having food tray and kept that on table. Both of them left a sigh as none of them till now was about to initiate conversation.
Daya tried to take that bowl but feeling difficulty in doing so. Abhijeet showed his eyes and said " Kisne kaha tumhe khud se lene ke liye ? "
Daya : ( thinking )
Lo phir se shuru ho gaya daanta. Ab kuch bolunga to phir se...
Isse accha hai ki chup hi rahu.
Seemed like Abhijeet understood what Daya was thinking and said " Ha chup hi raho tum. "
Daya was shocked by the statement of Abhijeet. Abhijeet took a pause of a minute and continued as " Ab mai itna bhi nahi daanta. "
Daya : ( thinking )
Huh. Khud hi Keh rahe hai ki itna nahi daanta. Are koi mujh bechare se bhi pucho ki kitna daante hai.
Abhijeet : Accha thik hai abse nahi daantunga.
Daya : ( thinking )
Ye Abhijeet sir me kya maan ki baat padhne ka talent hai jo mai kya soch raha hu unhe pata chal raha hai.
Abhijeet : ( in a causal tone ) Ab itna bhi jyada talented nahi hu mai.
He took a pause of minute and continued in his officer tone as " Mere baare me sochna band karo. Chalo ab lunch kar lo. "
Daya : ( thinking )
Jab mai khud le raha tha lunch tab mana kar diya aur keh rahe hai ki lunch kar lo.
Abhijeet : Mai hu na. Mai khilata hu na tumhe.
Abhijeet took that bowl in his hand and took a spoonful of it and brought it near Daya ' s mouth. Daya gulped that soup hurriedly. He got that the soup was too hot to drink.
Abhijeet analayzed the expressions of Daya and said " Mera dhyan hi nahi raha. " , forwarded a glass of water and made him drink that water.
After having water Daya felt better. Now Abhijeet started now feeding him spoon by spoon after cooling it. Daya was done with lunch. Abhijeet forwarded him medicines. Daya at once took a look at Abhijeet then at the medicines and gulped them down.
Abhijeet took a glance at clock and said " Ab let jao. "
Daya in sign language said as " No. "
Abhijeet : Ab kya hua ?
Daya : ( thinking )
Mujhe to lunch karva diya par khud pata nahi subah se kuch khaya hoga bhi ya nahi. Nahi khaya hoga. Humesha ki tarah skip kiya hoga agar maine nahi bola to phir se skip kar denge.
Kuch karna hoga.
He found his mobile placed on table. He grabbed that mobile and typed " Aap bhi lunch kar ligiye ka. " and showed it to Abhijeet.
Abhijeet : ( murmuring ) Chahe kuch ho jaye lekin iski adat nahi jayegi.
Daya gave expressions as " Kuch kaha aapne ? "
Abhijeet : ( irritated tone ) Kar lunga lunch mai.
Daya hurriedly typed as " Medicines " and showed Abhijeet whereas Abhijeet continued as " Dawai bhi le lunga.
Ab tum aram karo. "
He helped Daya to lay down. Daya was staring at ceiling.
Abhijeet : ( in a teasing tone ) Ab chat ka design itna bhi accha hai.
( in ordering tone ) Ankhe band.
Daya : ( thinking )
Gabbar bhi inke samne bhagwan lage.
Abhijeet : ( teasingly ) Mujhe badme kos lena pahle ankhe band karo.
Daya closed his eyes immediately. Abhijeet waited for Daya to sleep. After confirming his sleep , he spread his hand on Daya ' s forehead. A satisfied smile came on Daya ' s face and small smile came on later ' s face.
Abhijeet glanced at a clock then got up with murmuring as " Ab to lunch karna hi padega varna phir se daantega. Khud to itna daanta hai aur mujhe gabbar bolta hai. "
He went to have a lunch and came back as soon as possible and found doctor on round. After complete checking by doctor he got update as " they will do surgery to remove clots after 2 days as the condition of Daya is now stable. "
This was the relief news which he got from the last few hours. At the same time he got a phone from Acp pradyuman. He received the call.
" Hello sir.
Jee thik hai. Mai aa raha hu abhi. "
After he was done with call , he glanced at Daya ' s face and said " Sorry Daya. Mujhe jana hoga. Jald hi milenge. "
He before going spread a hand at Daya ' s face carefully so that Daya does not wake up and then got out of the room.
The night arrived , he opened his eyes and found Freddy there. Unknowingly he was dejected to see Freedy there instead of Abhijeet. He with regular intervals was looking at the door of hospital room.
Freddy : Sir aap kisi ka intezar kar rahe hai kya ?
Daya wrote a big no with pen on paper present. Freddy got Daya ' s intension behind looking at the door contiously. He patted his head and said " Mai batana bhul gaya. Wo Abhijeet sir unhe kuch kaam aa gaya isliye wo chale gaye. "
Hearing the revelation, Daya face fall down. Unknowingly he wanted to see Abhijeet there. He started to convince himself.
Daya : ( thinking )
Mai bhi na. Kya sochta rehta hu. Wo yaha kyu honge ?
Unhe bhi to kaam hoga. Humesha yaha hi thode na baithe rahenge. Akhir mai to sirf unka ek colleague hi to hu.
