Acp pradyuman : Chinta mat karo daya ka operation khatam hone se pahle uth jaoge.
Nurse gave injection to Abhijeet and he also slept off.
After some time Abhijeet woke. He went outside and found Acp Pradyuman there waiting for Daya 's operation to finish.
Few moments passed and doctor came out. Both ( Abhijeet and Acp pradyuman ) of them were looking at him in concern.
Doctor : Wo khatre se bahar hai. Operation successful hua hai.
Both of them left a sigh.
Doctor : Jo major clots the brain me wo humne remove kar diye hai. Ye baat alag hai ki kuch chhote clots brain me abhi bhi hai.
Expressions of both of them changed to worry.
Doctor : Jo chhote clots hai wo hum dheeere dheere medicines ki madat se remove kar denge. Isliye unhe ab aur bhi jyada care ki jarurat hai.
Abhijeet : Jee doctor hum log dhyan rakhenge.
Doctor : Ek aur baat kisi bhi prakar ka excitement unke liye thik nahi hai. Dhyan rakhiye ki jo pichli baar hua wo is baar na ho.
Abhijeet : Jee doctor is baar aisa kuch nahi hoga.
Acp Pradyuman : Doctor Daya ko hosh kab tak aayega ?
Doctor : Abhi 2 ghante lagenge unhe hosh aane me.
Doctor went from there.
Acp pradyuman looked towards Abhijeet questioningly like " What happened previously ". Abhijeet gave a reply as " Nothing. " Acp Pradyuman didn ' t dragged the topic and let the later two solve the problems between them.
Acp Pradyuman : Abhijeet mat ab nikalta hu. Dhyan rakhna. Kuch bhi jarurat pade to mujhe batana.
Abhijeet : Jee sir.
After 2 hours , nurse informed Abhijeet about Daya being conscious. Abhijeet went inside his room. He was struggling to start conversation with Daya.
Daya : ( in broken language ) Sir aap thik to hai na ?
Abhijeet was like " Lo bhai operation abhi abhi iska hua hai aur puch mere baare me raha hai. "
Abhijeet : Doctor ne tumhe bolne ke liye mana kiya hai.
Daya made an annoyed face.
Daya : ( thinking )
Lag to raha hai ki sir galat field me aa gaye. Cid officer ki jagah inhe doctor banna chahiye tha. Humesha daant ke chup kara dete hai. Inse acche to doctor hai.
Abhijeet : Daant ne ki quality to doctor ki tarah hai par kya karu meri handwriting itni bhi kharab nahi hai ki mai doctor banu.
( Don ' t take it personally. It ' s a matter of fact. Humesha maine logo ko bolte hue suna hai ki doctor ki handwriting kharab hoti hai. Kuch kuch doctors ki acchi hoti hai handwriting. )
Daya : ( thinking )
Ab to maan ke maan me baat karna bhi hanikarak ho gaya hai. Sambhal ke rahna padega.
Abhijeet sat on the stool present near patient ' s bed.
Abhijeet : Tumhe kahi dard to nahi ho raha hai ?
Daya noded in no. Some time passed , Daya was getting bored as Abhijeet was reading a magzine present on table. So he started searching for his mobile.
Abhijeet : Kya chahiye tumhe ?
Daya : ( with difficulty ) Mobile
Abhijeet : Kyu chahiye mobile ?
Daya : Game.
Abhijeet : Bilkul nahi milega mobile. Game khelne se ankhon par strain padega.
Daya ' s face fall down immediately. He started looking towards ceiling. Abhijeet took a glance at him , saw his crestfallen face. He took Daya ' s mobile and gave it to him.
Abhijeet : ( in a strict tone ) Ye lo mobile. Par jyada der tak nahi khelna.
Daya ' s face was showing pure happiness like face of children who gets his favorite chocolate. He immediately took his phone and started playing game.
Abhijeet : ( thinking )
Bikul baccha hai. Isko dekhke kaun kahega ki ye ek cid officer hai jise mujrim kaanpte hai.
After some time he saw that Daya had slept having mobile in his hand. Abhijeet took out Daya ' s phone carefully without disturbing his sleep and kept it at safe place. He covered him with blanket. He spread his hand over Daya 's forehead.
It was night time and Daya opened his eyes. He was wishing for Abhijeet to be there with him but all his wishes crushed in nano second after finding Freddy there.
Daya : ( thinking )
Lagta hai Abhijeet sir ko koi kaam aa gaya. Isliye wo yaha se chale gaye. Par chahe jo ho par jab bhi wo mere saath hote hai ek ajeeb sa sakoon milta hai.
Some lines could be heard in his ears " Ek no ek maanhos ho tum. Jiske saath rahoge usko kha jaoge tum. "
Daya : ( thinking )
Nahi mujhe Abhijeet sir ke saath nahi rahna chahiye. Unse duri banayi rakhni hogi. Mai manhos hu. Mai unhe khatre me nahi daal sakta. Accha hua sir chale gaye. Mai unhe apne pass nahi aane dunga.
He made a mental reminder to himself to be away from Abhijeet.
3 days passed but no sign of Abhijeet. Internally Daya wanted to see Abhijeet there but everytime his brain reminded to be away from him. In those three days Abhijeet used to visit hospital but when Daya was asleep. Reason was the ongoing cases in bureau. So everyday he got time at night only to visit Daya and get updated status of Daya from doctor.
Abhijeet was working in bureau but still some lines of tension were present on his forehead. Acp pradyuman saw his tension.
Acp Pradyuman : Kya hua Abhjeet ?
Abhijeet looked up and said " Sir koi baat nahi. "
Acp Pradyuman : Agar tum nahi batana chahte to thik hai.
He was about to leave but Abhijeet stopped him.
Abhijeet : Sir wo aaj Daya ko discharge milne wala hai.
Acp Pradyuman : To ?
Abhijeet : ( in one breath ) Mai use apne ghar le jata hu.
Acp Pradyuman : To isme tension wali kya baat hai ?
Abhijeet : Kya Daya manega ?
Acp Pradyuman : Tumhari baat kabhi taali hai usne ? Nahi na. Bol do use ki tum use apne ghar le jana chahte ho.
Abhijeet : Par agar usne nahi mani to ?
Acp Pradyuman ( with a faint smile ) : To use apni ankheen dikha dena. Maan jayega Daya.
Abhijeet was embaressed with Acp Pradyuman 's statement.
Abhijeet : Jee sir.
Acp Pradyuman was about to go back his cabin but stopped with Abhijeet 's call as " Sir " he turned.
Abhijeet : ( with hestiation ) Sir wo mujhe aaj jaldi chutti chahiye.
Acp Pradyuman noded in yes and went back to his cabin.
Happy today as my results are out today. Got CGPA of 9.26. Iske wajah se bhi late ho gaya chapter dene me.
