Chapter 6: Always There
That night, the herd was still looking for the gang. But still, there was no sign of them.
"Where ever they are, we're not going to find them tonight." Topps said sadly. He was really worried sense Cera was the only family he has left.
"For once I have to agree with you." Said Bowser. "I just hope the children are safe."
As the herd found a place to rest for the night, Oliver and Raph looked over at the Big Water.
"I'm afraid we'll never see Ruby again." Raph said to Oliver.
"Don't say that dear. Of course we will." Oliver said, trying to cheer him up.
Back with the gang, they were sleeping behind a large rock. They couldn't look at the Big Water any longer. Of course, it was possible that they can find another log. But niether one of them wanted to do that. They don't want to take another chance with the Swimming Sharptooth.
Right now, all of them were having a hard time sleeping. Without their families, it just didn't feel safe.
"Whoa!" Chomper shouted. "What's that?!"
Everyone turned to a huge scary shadow that Chomper pointed at. But was later revealed to be a leaf blowing in the wind.
"Don't worry. It's just a trick of the wind." Said Littlefoot.
"Look there!" Cera gasped.
Everyone looked at what Cera was talking about. It was a shadow of a Sharptooth of some kind. But as Sky Puffies moved away from the Night Circle, it was revealed to be a rock with sticks next to it. Making the gang sigh in releath.
"It is no use. I can not sleep without my mommy." Ducky said sadly.
"Me niether." Said Ruby.
It was true that all of them missed their families. They wished that the land path was still there. But now it seemed like there was no way back to the mainland. And now, some of them began to talk about what their families did from the past.

Ruby: When the sun went down. And everyone was sleeping. If I heard a sound like things around me creeping. She would wrap her arms around me and tell me "Don't be scared". And I knew that I was safe because, she's always there.
Cera: When the storms would come. And things would seem so bad. When I'd wanna cry. Almost. I'd listen to my dad. He tells me that the rain would pass. The day would soon be fair. And I never was afraid because, he's always there.
All: Always there. Someone you can count on to comfort you. Always there. Like a green green valley. You can come home to.
Chomper: I remember now. Like it was yesterday. He would hole me close. And then I'd hear him say, You know I'll never leave you. You can find me everywhere. In the morning light. The evening star. I'm always there.

Not wanting to stay up any longer, the gang cuddled up together behind the rock. Littlefoot then tucked Ducky in with Spike's tail before taking one last look at the Night Circle.
Littlefoot: Always there.

With that said, Littlefoot began to cure up into a ball and went to sleep. But little did the gang know that they were not the only ones on the island.

I always felt bad for the gang at this part. Writing this chapter made me feel sad. So I'm sorry if this chapter is short but I was too sad to continue.
