Abhijeet : ( with hestiation ) Sir wo mujhe aaj jaldi chutti chahiye.
Acp Pradyuman noded in yes and went back to his cabin.
It was afternoon time and Doctor came for check up for Daya. He completed Daya ' s check up.
Doctor : Dekhiye ab aapki halat kafi theek hai. Isliye hum aapko aaj sham discharge kar denge.
A smile came on Daya ' s face as finally he was able to come out from hospital and join duty back. Looking at that smily face , doctor added as " Iska matlab ye nahi officer ki aap apni duty join kar le. Kamse kam ek hafta aapko complete rest karna hoga, medicines time par leni hogi. "
Daya just replied as " Jee doctor. "
Daya : ( thinking )
Bas ek baar yaha se nikal jau to jaan chut jayegi. Kitne dino baad ghar jaunga. Akhir apna ghar to apna hi hota hai.
A smile came on his face as he started imagining himself in his own house. He came back to present after hearing a teasing voice as " Discharge abhi mila nahi hai. "
Daya looked up and found the person who he wanted to see from the last two three days. He managed to say " Abhijeet sir aap. "
Abhijeet : Ha mai.
Ab kaisi tabiyat hai tumhari ?
Daya : Jee sir abhi kafi theek hai.
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Daya : Sir bureau me sab thik to hai na ?
Abhijeet : Bureau ke baare me na bolo to hi behtar hoga tumhare liye.
Daya : Jee sir.
He was about to sit in half lying position when Abhijeet said " Let kar bhi baat ho sakti hai. "
Daya remained in same lying position.
( Akhir Abhijeet sir ki baat kaise tal sakta hai. Terror of Abhijeet sir. )
Daya : Sir kuch kaam tha aapko ?
Abhijeet : Ha. Ek mission aaya hai. Usi ke liye aaya hu.
Daya : ( in a concerned tone ) Sir mission dangerous to nahi hai na ?
Abhijeet : Dangerous to hai.
Listening this a shade of fear could be seen on Daya ' s face. Abhijeet started to rub his palms over each other and continued " Par kya karu mission to successful karna hi padega. "
Daya : ( with courage ) Sir mai aapke saath mission par chalu ?
Abhijeet : Nahi.
Daya ' s face fall down whereas Abhijeet continued as " Par wo mission tumhare madat ke bagair pura nahi ho sakta. "
Daya : Jee sir. Aap boliye. Mai aapki kya madat kar sakta hu ?
Abhijeet : Tumhe sirf meri baat maanni hai.
Daya : Jee sir.
( thinking )
( imitating like Abhijeet ) Tumhe sirf meri baat maani hai. Aaj tak kaunsi baat taali maine.
For Abhijeet it seemed like he read thoughts so answered as " Ha ab tak to nahi taali hai. Mujhe ummeed hai ki aage bhi nahi taloge. "
Daya : Jee sir. Aapne bataya nahi ki mujhe kya karna hai ?
Abhijeet : Wo sahi waqt aane par mai tumhe bata dunga.
Daya : Jee sir.
Abhijeet : Abhi aankhe band karo.
Daya : Jee ?
Abhijeet : Sunai nahi de raha aankhe band.
Daya closed his eyes.
Abhijeet : Good.
Soon Daya slept. It was evening time when Daya woke up. He saw time as 6 pm. He sat on bed.
Abhijeet : Uth gaye tum. Chalo tayyar ho jao phir tumhe mere saath mere ghar chalna hai.
Daya : ( shocked ) Aapke ghar ?
Abhijeet : Ha.
Daya : ( thinking )
Ye Abhijeet sir mujhe apne ghar kyu le jaana chahte hai ?
Agar mai inke saath chala gaya to hum dono aur karib aa jayenge.
Nahi nahi mai jaunga. Agar meri wajah se unhe kuch ho gaya to.
Chahe kuch ho jaye mai Abhijeet sir ke saath unke ghar nahi jaunga.
Daya : ( in a firm tone ) Nahi sir. Mai apne ghar hi jaunga.
Abhijeet : Tumne kaha tha na tum meri baat manoge.
Daya : ( with courage ) Sir wo mujhe laga ki aapko mujhe case se releated kaam hai. Isiliye maine kaha tha ki aapki baat manuga.
Abhijeet : ( thinking )
Agar tum jiddi ho na to mai tumse kai jyada jiddi hu. Tumhe apne ghar le ja kar hi rahunga.
Abhijeet : Tum chahte ho mera mission fail ho jaye ?
Daya : ( instantly ) Nahi sir.
Abhijeet : To chalo mere saath mere ghar.
Daya was hestitating to go with Abhijeet at his house.
Daya : ( thinking )
Mai aise kaise sir ke ghar chalu ?
Agar mai sir ke ghar nahi gaya to sir ka mission fail ho jayega. Mai aap ke wajah se sir ka mission fail hone nahi de sakta.
Abhi sir ke ghar chala jaata hu. Jaise hi mission pura ho jayega mai apne ghar wapas aa jaunga.
Daya : Mai aapke saath chalne ke liye tayyar hu sir.
Abhijeet : Tum jakar kapde change karke aao. Mai discharge paper lekar aata hu.
Daya noded and he went to change clothes.
Daya : ( thinking )
Mai sir ke ghar ja to raha hu par mujhe unse duri bana kar rakhni hogi.
Ha chahe kuch ho jaye. Mujhe unse duri banaye rakhni hogi.
Soon Abhijeet came back with discharge papers. He found Daya already ready.
Abhijeet : Chalein ?
Both of them were coming out from the hospital corridor when Daya felt everything revolving around him. He was about to fall but two hands supported him and saved him from falling.
He looked up and found Abhijeet there who was supporting him.
Abhijeet : ( in a soft tone ) Sambhal ke chalo.
Daya : Jee sir.
They came out of hospital. On the whole way Abhijeet was taking glances of Daya at regular times. Abhijeet started quills and both of them started their journey towards Abhijeet ' s house.
They had covered half distance when Abhijeet saw Daya clucthing his head.
Abhijeet : Kya hua Daya ?
Daya immediately removed his hands from head and said " Kuch bhi to nahi sir. "
Abhijeet paid attention towards the wheel.
Daya : ( pov )
Uff ! ye sar dard. Ab sir se kaise kahu sar dard kar raha hai ?
Abhijeet : ( POV )
Lagta hai sar me dard ho raha hai Daya ke. Par jaban se kuch nikle tab na.
He remembered that Daya had not taken his medicines.
Medicine nahi li hogi isliye sar dard ho raha hai. Bas jaldi se ghar pohoch jaye.
While they were on the way Daya was trying to hide pain in his head but nothing could be escaped from Abhijeet ' s keen eyes. Both of them reached home.
The moment they entered inside home , Abhijeet went to kitchen for fetching water whereas Daya was glancing at house. He had visited to this house many times but this was first time he was there to stay here.
Abhijeet came from kitchen and handed both medicines and water to him.
Abhijeet : Ye lo medicines.
Daya took that medicines along with water and kept the glass of water on table. He was standing from the time he came inside home.
Abhijeet : Chalo mere saath.
Daya followed him. Both of them came in guest room.
Abhijeet : Ab let jao.
Daya : Sir wo mission.
Abhijeet : Pahle jao aur let jao.
Daya tried to protest but stopped after looking at Abhijeet ' s stern gaze. He went on bed and lied down. Soon he drifted in sleep.
